I don't understand anybody who T-bags. It's just stupid and rude.

People who get tbagged find it stupid and rude, but the ones who tbag find it funny purely because they know the other person is getting annoyed. Especially in DbD, since everyone seems to take it to heart so much more in this game than any other game that you can tbag in.

Everything i knew was a lie. Guess i'll put my brown legion pin addons back in the closet

Oh yeah this perk is ultra garbage, and you can't even make it work in blindness builds. It's so pathetic.

  • It's almost like this perk is completely busted, and removing it from the game would be a good and logical thing to do...

  • I really wish battle passes never became so popular. Such a boring, low effort form of new content that companies have taken to doing so often now instead of using that time to fix their games. How many battle passes have we got from BHVR now? 3 in 9 months. Just sucks that they can shove content like this out like it's nothing, and things like the sound continues to get worse with each update. They need to get some serious help on their technical side or its gonna get to a point where people will no longer put up with it.

  • The killer might be looking down. It looks as if they're looking straight at the flashlight but they're completely avoiding it. At pallets it's quite easy to blind a killer. It'll probably work more often than not now since the sounds are so broken. Hag and Spirit can't be blinded through the pallet break animation period so don't even bother trying it on them (there is a really small angle that you can blind a spirit but it's so precise and accurate that there's no point to even trying)

  • @Munqaxus said:

Ok, how in the heck is Huntress rated an S and Deathslinger rated a B? That makes no sense. Deathslinger is the exact same as Huntress, except better in every way, except for 2. Iridescent Heads and being able to down someone over a pallet.

    1. Lower Terror Radius
    2. Quickscoping
    3. Shot drags you to Deathslinger, reducing looping
    4. Reload while moving
    5. Infinite ammo

Thank god there is one other sane person on here and thinks Deathslinger is better than everyone says. Find it funny that everyone says "BuT hE dOeSn'T hAvE mAp PrEsSuRe" when almost every killer in the game doesn't have map pressure except for Billy and maybe Wraith. Killers like Deathslinger and Nurse create pressure by downing people in 10 seconds, and I really don't know how this is such a hard concept to grasp for some people.

  • I think maybe he should have a 32m terror radius by default. He still wouldn't be fine but it would be slightly less horrendous because you'd at least have a chance to get some distance on him. I also find it pretty funny that a lot of forum killer mains think Deathslinger is bad. A killer that requires some work is automatically bad.

  • They're not gamebreaking on their own, but when multiple survivors run all those perks at the same time it's usually a GG from the start. The counter to DS is "oh just slug the person" but then they have Unbreakable to counter the slugging, which is countered by not slugging, which is when you'll get hit by DS, usually when you didn't even tunnel that survivor in the first place... The power of the combination of these two perks is absolutely stupid. They're fine on their own, and they can be fun ways to shift the pace of a match, but when you use them together it's uncounterable, and you have to worry about 4 survivors having this invincibility for up to 2 minutes each during the match.

I just wish the devs would add in something small like 10 iri shards per unused slot on the free track.

It won't even give that many iri shards even if all slots gave 10 iri shards but it will be something other then empty spaces.

You would feel like you're missing out on less if you get something in every tier of the free track, so they keep as many gaps as they can get away with to keep trying to persuade you to buy it. Same with the message in the Endgame screen. It's like "hey you see all those shinies on the bottom row? Bet you'd like to get something everytime you tier up, right?"

Which was exactly my point. When it happens to "noname guy" its "not possible" I mean, just this week there was a thread. "Not possible" was the common reply. "You must be DCing over and over" but when its Tru3,... you dont accuse him?

Yet, here we are with the same problem,... someone "I did not DC but got a 24+ hour ban"

but naaah not a problem, only when it affects a streamer. You literally proved my point for me.

Yup. A lot of people on this forum are unaware that, shockingly, we're all playing the same game and experiencing the same bugs. It can't POSSIBLY be the case that someone else who isn't a streamer got a gamebreaking bug out of nowhere? Impossible!

Me too where if you didn't like the killer's design, their backstory may intrigue or one of their perks is salvageable, it's always something there for someone. Regardless of the dislike for the chapter it self and the spotlights are always dope.I didn't much like the Oni until, I read his backstory and saw the Spotlight and that was 4 months after his release, don't get me wrong after the release, I played with him and warm up to him ,but when I read his backstory that's when I truly appreciated him.

Spirit is the one that has no redeeming qualities for me. Her design, gameplay and visually, is annoying (that face tho, yikes), her backstory is uninteresting and generic, her perks are mostly bad and not great additions to the game for both sides and for several reasons, and yamaokas estate is widely regarded as a pretty bad realm. I personally dislike it because of the terrible jungle gyms that have no good way of running them as killer, and all of the fluff on the map that's distracting as both killer and survivor.

if you think spirit is easy to play you havent used her properly

But if anyone can use her and do well with her, even when we're all apparently not playing her "properly"...then how easy is it to win with her when you do play her properly lmao. She is objectively a very easy killer to play and get good with. It's not even a bad thing, so idk why you'd even want to try and defend this because even the hardest killer to play, The Nurse, isn't very demanding at all. This game was designed to be a very simplistic and accessible game and it works well in that respect.

  • Sorry but I just don't see it. I enjoyed some aspects about fnaf years ago until Scott was literally making all these half-baked "stories" up as he went, and the fanbase drove it into the dirt even faster than he could.

I also don't see how you could make something like springtrap good or interesting. A character that comes from a game that literally keeps you completely in the dark about the enemy movement and behaviour, and never even shows any kind of attack on the player except for the ultimate, completely expected jumpscare that has absolutely not been done to death now, which is the only thing FNAF has going for it. It's just a worn down suit, with very little to actually start to think of some good ideas for it.

  • The way I see it, all he proves with these killers is that he's a very good player. Just because tru3 got good results with a single killer, a single but LD and a single playstyle doesn't mean the killer is now good. If you play as well as tru3 with wraith and use his build and tactics to hit and run, deny chases and interaction as well as strong add-ons etc then yes wraith is a great killer. But do anything else and he's really not that good.

  • @CosmicParagon said:

Don't remove them, just make them stop stacking with Infantry Belt so she ALWAYS has 1 hatchet with it.

I'd rather them change it to a range requirement for a one shot. Limiting it to 1 would make iri head REALLY bad, and I'd rather see the add-on be good but require skill than be yet another awful red.

  • The only change I want for NOED is for it to expose survivors the moment the gens are done. That's it. the fact that it comes out of nowhere everytime, just for a cheap unearned instadown is so stupid imo.

  • @Todgeweiht said:

    That would be cool!

    If anyone would actually play demogorgon these days ;_;

Please guys in the last 2 weeks I have only faced demo twice and one of them was a camper, why are you all so reluctant to play him?

He requires some work and learning to his abilities, so nobody wants to play him and therefore think he's not good. It's the same with Deathslinger and Nurse around here.

If DS has an infanite timer and have to heal for it to go away why heal then you could just go down with unbreakable and pick your self back up and still have da for next time

You could, but with my version of the perk, once another survivor is hooked the perk deactivates until you're next rescued from a hook. So of you pick yourself up when you had DS active and the killer wasn't gonna hook another survivor anytime soon you could've potentially wasted the unbreakable. Or you'll go to a gen and then the perk also deactivates, because at that point the killer is definitely not tunnelling you.

  • @TheCursedTitan said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1390542#Comment_1390542

I said when that person is healed DS deactivates until you are hooked again as a reply to someone else

Oh I didn't see that bit going through the thread the first time. Apologies. Considering that as well I think your idea could definitely work, yeah. It's a bit complicated for DbD but I think something like DS needs to be because making it simple like it is now is a serious problem.

  • 32m is standard tr. A lot of people run monitor so that makes it 40m whilst in a chase. A lot of people underestimate just how much ground that covers. It would be so easy to keep DS up against almost every killer once it's active. You would essentially have it for the rest of the match, and the killer would be punished even harder for not tunnelling you and then eating a DS as they would now have absolutely no clear way of measuring when it expires. This would be absolutely broken.

DS needs some kind of full-on rework. My idea was an infinite timer until that person gets healed, interacts with a gen, or another survivor is hooked. Then killers would only get hit by it if they were tunnelling, which is what the perk is now supposed to prevent. (I don't really care nor agree with what the Devs say: DS is an anti tunnelling perk, at least now. You could've made that argument before it's change that it wasn't but now its purpose is absolutely to stop tunnelling)

Not so much what he "says" its what he has "shown" with The Wraith, as well as what he is currently demonstrating with Leatherface. Any killer is not as good without decent add ons/perks.

Well yes this is obvious, but killers like wraith and Bubba rely so heavily on add-ons it's not even funny. They're both pathetic without them. A lot of killers in this game are becoming less add-on reliant. Nurse and Billy for example aren't bad without add-ons, you just need to be really good with them to make them work without add-ons, and their best add-ons are the ones that clean up your mistakes with them faster. And then there are other killers like Oni, Deathslinger, PH etc where you don't feel like you're losing much when not using add-ons, because they're not very reliant on them.

  • I think I agree with most of this list. Personally I would put Deathslinger in-between Freddy and Billy, pyramid head somewhere in that area and swap Oni and hag but other than that I like it.

  • Doctor is a pretty good killer now. Without add-ons he's solid but with the right add-ons after the buff he's honestly broken. I'm glad there's not a lot of people who use that certain combination of add-ons because they are expensive to run constantly, but man if they did...

  • Oh no they said mean words to me! Quick, I must show this to the forums, and name and shame them for getting angry at a videogame and provide no further context!

I literally don't see this in any other community than this one, at least to the point of absurdity that this forum does it to.

  • Wraith continuing to be the BP king I see.

  • I'm not a fan of developers and writers changing anything about a character for the sake of appeasing a group of individuals, and not for any other reason. Or better yet, in this case, introducing something completely irrelevant to the character for the same reason. If BHVR want to make a brand new character that is LGBT I'm all for it, but don't change the stuff that's already there just for that reason because it doesn't need to be changed.

  • If you want to use them knock yourself out, nobody's stopping you. They're in the game for a reason: for you to have the option of using them. If you want to Mori everyone off first hook and end the match in 5 minutes go for it, but don't expect anyone to say anything nice and don't make thread number 5381 outing survivors who sent you a message about it because it's uncalled for, not to mention it creates another dumpster fire of a thread that only accentuates the point that this forum's treated like a joke.

God if only there was something that buffed the killers speed 10-15 seconds into a chase. Geez. A man can dream.

the perk literally forces people to choose whether or not they want to cleanse or have slower gen progression. The perk was tailor made for plague. It literally adds to your idea of snowballing and aggression. If people decide they want to cleanse then they add to your stronger power variant and you become much more deadly as a result, if they don't then you get more time to chase and everyone is one shotable. damn good perk on her.

The gens only take an extra 12.6 seconds to complete with everyone affected by Thana. That's not a lot of time saved. It'll take her well over 10 seconds to catch up to a survivor who sprint bursted away. The extra time you get from thana really doesn't do much at all, and she has better perks. And say survivors do cleanse, the ones who know what they're doing will use a fountain in a dead zone or across the map where there are no gens, so to get your power you'd need to spend so much time hauling ass across the entire map and lose all pressure just to get a power that ultimately isn't even that good if survivors aren't grouped up.

  • Infectious and monitor are a good combo. I run infectious, monitor, corrupt and BBQ. Thanatophobia is a trash perk, and a complete waste of a slot on her. I seriously don't know why people keep recommending people use this perk, it's so bad and useless. She benefits from aggression and snowballing as much as possible so anything to help in a chase or to get the jump on a survivor is good on her.

  • Chapel is one of the most balanced maps in the game. Family residence is just a meh map overall. I and many others still have no idea how to correctly run those jungle gyms, they're a mess. Both score a lot of points for aesthetic though. Chapel for the Circus themes and family residence for its dark and cool lighting

  • He got a very simple buff that did a little bit, but Imo he's still probably the worst killer, but not by a landslide anymore.

  • @KingFrost said:

Nerf Object of Obsession to be exposed. Kind of like No Mither mixed with Object. You can SEE THE KILLER but the killer will down you in a single blow. Not that it'd help much in this case, though it's hard to say given this killer was PH and it might've been his first time trying the killer.

Really wouldn't do much. You're almost untouchable on most maps with object anyway, so being exposed won't help all that much.

  • DS can be better at lower ranks because nobody slugs at low ranks, but at high ranks it's not all that useful on its own and if the killer is actually good. Dead hard is equally brainless, can remove 1 mistake in a chase and almost every killer in the game has no counter to dead harding for distance to a window or pallet. Super fun and interactive, not BS in any way. So I would go with dead hard.

  • The way BHVR treats its employees as well as handles the community is honestly incredible. They never overwork their employees and try to be as involved with the community as possible. No matter how many bugs there are, and how much we like to poke fun at them for it and some of their design decisions, they're not even close to being as bad as some of the other big developers out there. I wouldn't put them anywhere close to Bethesda's level.

  • Yep. If you don't have the DLC you're not completing the tome. Simple as that. Welcome to the state of videogames in 2020 where even the DLC requires DLC to complete.

Did you read the post? Pulling a pallet is obviously not an exploit.

But you're saying that the survivors stunning the killer with the pallet and using its hitbox is an exploit, when it could be that they think the killer is in range for a pallet stun and it works etc. Unless I'm misreading what you said and in that case I apologise.

  • So dropping a pallet is now considered an exploit? The stun hitboxes on pallets are pretty goofy, but calling it an exploit is a stretch.

  • Idk why a lot of people complain about getting chased all game. You're literally doing the only thing that's fun as survivor which is interacting with the killer and you get to do it for the entire match. Maybe extreme tunnelling where you don't get a chance to do anything isn't fun but I find that doesn't happen often at all. If I run a killer around for 5 gens, get hit by NOED and he's so mad that he's gonna camp me til death at the end of the game? That's a win in my book, and much more satisfying than holding M1 on a generator.

  • I agree that he is boring from both points of view: His chases as survivor follow one pattern with no variation, and playing him feels like my IQ is slowly being taken from me. But he's not overpowered by any means. They do need to change the status effect you get while you're asleep though. It should be something else instead of oblivious. This way he wouldn't counter BT by simply existing, and a survivor wouldn't have literal wallhacks against him.

  • No mither, self care, for the people and inner strength. The ultimate power move.

  • I'd like to see her get an add-on rework, specifically add-ons that change her crouch and ambush more (Faster dash speed, faster crouch movement speed etc). She has maybe 3 that are useable, and the rest range from useless to complete garbage.

  • Well if 3 survivors are on 3 different gens and the killers commits to one person who knows what they're doing and doesn't pressure gens...that's gonna happen at any rank, with any killer.

  • Midwich is Haddonfield 2.0. You don't have a lot of great pallets save a few as survivor, but the lack of LoS and ways to get around the map also screws killers over so bad to the point where if a survivor has object and balanced landing/sprint burst they would be literally untouchable.

  • @BigBrainMegMain said:

Nurse is one of the killers that exceeds at the map.

But that's it...he has a good point. You have to traverse 3 or 4 rooms to get upstairs, or take the stairs. I've had to do this several times yesterday and I lost 2 gens that way.

Pyramid Head does need buffs. I've been playing him since release and well....his Range power is completely useless.

She would excel on this map if sounds weren't so god awful. I'm usually of the opinion that Nurse is the best killer, but honestly the fact that survivors are almost always not making a sound now, which is arguably the single most important thing to find people as Nurse...

  • It's just people being really petty. Nothing new, same happened with Bunny Feng and Dwelf.

Only silent sounds are on the ground bugs and the devs are killer sided currently to try and bring killers back after years of being the under powred roll deny that and you are a clown. And you can hear sprint footsteps clear as day don't pull stuff out of your ass to prove a point, there is also no such thing as falling without a sound.

You're wrong, because the slugged sound bug is NOT the only sound bug in the game. Watch Scott's newest video

    https://youtu.be/EXjeXJiIzEA

4:08 and 5:28. If you can hear footsteps, breathing, falling sounds, impact sounds from these clips, sounds which SHOULD be playing, then you must be some kind of omnipresent being. This happens all the time btw, more frequently than ever and I absolutely hate it.
