The second mask is that of a laughing man.
The third mask is featureless, only having one slightly large hole i the middle.

Well I love writing lore and perk ideas. So Imma do it here too!!
Survivor : Carl Kolchack
Carl always had a curious nose, found his way into the strangest of situations with ease. With his trusty camera and lucky straw hat, he managed to out wit and out play the denzens of the occult.
One day, a rather intriguing story caught his attention. A similar reporter got lost in the woods.( Benedict reference cuz This can develop into something extremely important for the lore with theories) His senses tingled, and his gut feeling urged him to go and investigate.
The saying goes as follows ": curiosity killed the cat. "
Little did Carl Know that death would be a relief in the nether he was about to step in.
Upon pondering the woods, Carl found many traces of lost human beings. This only uplifted his desire to uncover the truth about these woods.
And about the fog, most importantly, for it cam around him, circling him to so e extent.
Carl heard a whisper, then another, then fell asleep.
The next morning, if it could be called that, he found himself next to the campfire. The camera was the only mem to left in the woods, piled with the rest of the remenats of those who got Lost.Perks : Uncanny truth : your desire to know the truth is overwhelmingly strong. Your courgae gets supported. Basement Chest search is instant, and you will always receive a brown/Yellow/Green or higher tool box
Weakness uncovered : your perception is flawless. You can see the enemy's weaknes through deep analysis. After a window vault, that same window has reduced vault speed for the killer by 5/10/15 percent
Studious : you learn from mistakes, as well as successes. For each Great skill check, receive one token, up to a max of 2/3/4. Each token is consumed once an action start. That action gets 5 percent increased action speed

Most of the time you're gonna be either chasing that pizza dwight ( which is so much better looking than any perk( pretty soon pink ace and shirtless david too)) or checking skill checks. I asked before how to stealth the doctor.
You don't really. Stealthing the doctor isn't the best play. It's rather wasting his time with jukes, not loops.
Every killer requires certain strategies. You don't play against trapper like you do agaisnt Billy.
Same goes for Doctor. You get to teir Madness 1 while he is chasing somebody else. You quickly repair as many generators as you can. Gen rush him like you should with almost every Killer. (gen rushing is the job of the survivors. No complaints about gen rushing is justified. I get gen completion time is short. But not gen rushing.) If he's going for a three gen strat.....Then It's a pain but you can do it if there's three survivors left. Each on one generator. If he doesn't chase, then it's banable (20 minutes + long matches ; only if he sees you but refuses to chase)
For looping the doctor......loops are a mechanic that should stay, just be tinkered. I'm not saying loop him to oblivion. That's dumb in many ways. 1) not fun 2) you'll use all your pallets and he'll be able to hunt you down afterwards so easily. Doctor boosts not needing time to find survivors. That's his main strength. In chase he's your average killer.
Also, your ego can take a hit. Getting hooked isn't as bad as it seems. Not only does he have to patrol gens, but now there's another load on his back. So quick saves may or may not, depending On the situation and I REPEAT DEPENDING ON THE SITUATION, be a bad move.
To sum up. Adapt. I had your problem. I asked and got many responses and in depth guides. Every killer has a unique counter strategy. At least that's how it should be. Looping takes away the 'strategy' part in this game as every killer's counter is looping. Why do you think nurse is so op? She's strong, but stealth crushes her. -
Well, humans have this amazing survival ability. Adapting.
It's what got us through every thing and i mean everything. If we got over 20000 years surviving Nature and its trials, I don't think a game can really match it.
Plus, experience. Ok, you're getting hunted the first time. Heart attack. But after 1000 trials, you physically won't be scared anymore until you're near death.
Can't really fix what's not a problem. -
- Survivor ratio. 80 S to 20 K. You'll see more more salt just because of frequency
- Playing as killer : you won't see the salt a killer main can give
- Killers in general leave as fast as they can wether they have or they have not any salt stored up
- The humiliation of being killed or sacrificed is much stronger than just having a survivor escape from tour grasp
- Bad team mates can sometimes frustrate a player
- Simply a bad day and they were legit mad
- Some bug happened that ruined their game and they can't complain or otherwise they will look as if they gave excuses ( in game lag most of the times)
Etc.
Salt comes from diffrent sources m8.
Though some exaggerate, i agree on that.
Just don't take it personally. Not like you're gonna ever see this person in real life. Just play fair to please your own consciousness
-
The ocean is salty because the land never waves back
Survivors are salty because Barbecue Wall Hacks
But they don't get we want the stacks
Brains, is what this short poem Lacks.

There might be a killer that uses fauna. Calm spirit might be a direct counter.
Tho ur right they should rework it. It was a counter to spies from the shadows but who runs that. -
Playing by instinct is also good!
Intuition saves more than you think it does.
For doctor.....Well I can avoid but with some of his addons i still think that you should juke and loop in equal amount.
Freddy.....meh. Don't really see him that often so no worries.

Now for killer concept.
I think it's best to get a new evil out to play.Name : Aragon Fernitch
Killer name : The Horrendous
Lore: Aragon Fernitch was a master craftsman. Be it wood, rock, marble, iron, glass, anything would be turned to a master piece by his hands. Though arts do not feed bread. People enjoyed looking, yet never buying. His shop was once filled with hopes of smiling clients, discounts, special orders and what not. But these dreams could only be crafted in dreams.
Things only grew worse. A mistake happened, at some point in the middle of a master peice Aragon thought would bring life to his store. Fire broke out. And he lost his face.
He had to earn a living. Sold his art on streets. Yet with a mask on, people never trusted him. Let alone look at him.
Eventually, he broke. He broke all his art, just as badly as his mind was broken.
An old man was walking as Aragon was throwing his fit. The poor soul was attacked viciously with the the hammer and nails. One to his right eyes. One right through his wide open mouth.
Aragon saw ugliness in this "art". Yet li,e every artist, he has to "express" himself.
No one saw the masked beggar again, crying on the streets behind his mask.Weapon : the Hammer and Large Nail. Hitting animation would be stabbing with the nail, then as recovery animation, Aragon hitting the nail with his hammer, recalling his work.
Abilities: Don The Mask : you can put diffrent masks togain diffrent abilities :
1. Mahogany mask: you recover faster from missed attacks by 40%. Successful attacks by 30%.
2. Mikado mask : action / breaking speed is increased by 30%
3. Lapis mask : terror radius down to 16 meters
4. Xanadu mask : hook progression is increased by 25%. Healing speed is reduced for all survivors by 50% percent.Appearance : an old man with white hair and and crafting apron, bloodied by his victims' blood. His right arm is covered with bits of clay, stuck as they have hardened.
The first mask is that of a crying man.
The second mask is that of a laughing man.
The third mask is featureless, only having one slightly large hole i the middle.
The last mask is that of a snake, baring its fangs.Perks : Minor details : tedious work is detailed work. You pay attention to the slightest imperfections. Any good skill check when healing or sabotaging grants you a token. Every 2 tokens grant you 1/2/3 percent action speed. ( so to hit and leave. Hit and leave. Hit and boom He's a monster)
Strike While The Iron is Hot : You know when the steel needs a strike. When carrying a survivor, your hits cause survivors to suffer from the mangled effect for 60/70/80 seconds. (For all you body blockers haters)
Abstract art : you draw from their blood the purest of art.
Gain a stackable bonus of 5% blood points in all categories for each hit. The shrvivor must be sacrificed to gain his stacks. ( BP. Gotta enjoy the sweet sound of the blood web+ makes the killer give second chances and not tunnel until a survivor is on last hook which happens by default so no extra tunnel incentives) -
Ahm, writing time. Anybody who wishes to create personas, please tell me and I will whip you up a nice lore.
So she's a trickster, ey?
SAOIRSE O’DONELL
Lore: Saoirse grew up in streets filled with sketchy business. Being alone was never a problem, for she saw others as dead weight. At the age of 6, she knew how to lock pick. At 10, she could swindle merchants and civilians alike. At 16, she ran an alley card cafe. With the years coming and going, she softened up. Being alone took its toll, and she craved allies and companions. So she decided to change her perception of the worlds. She now wanted to create a sanctuary for others. What got her popular was her arduous interaction with the guests. Many times, she joined the games on the tables, would teach the 'suckers' , as she referred to them, would help with debts. She became known as O'Mama, due to her kind hearted, yet strict attitude.
Life wasn't easy, yet it was rewarding. Until she Locked eyes with The Head of the Snake.
A rather Infamous mafia raided her cafe, leaving her broke, and broken. Many of the 'suckers' fell victim to the Head of the Snake.
she tried many times to reopen a cafe. But for naught, for they always found their way to wreak havoc upon her fortune.
She had to give up and run into the woods, as the Head of the snake started to get blood thirsty.
No one saw her again. And she now faces fangs by far worse than that of the Mafia boss. -
I get the idea. But survivors rely heavily on being able to spot the killer. The concept to balance is good on paper, but in action....not so good.
-
Ace finger guns. Need more a reason?
Locker Dwight in background -
Ace. Ace all the way.
-
Thanks guys.
Really appreciate it. Im trying toget Urban at tye moment then I'll aim to get Quick and quiet.
I'll try my hardest to juke rather than loop. -
Keep up the nice attitude. People like you bring light to this den.

Thanks m8.
I dont use twitch so I can't really benefit from this. Wish you can do a youtube channel.
I mean... why not dude. Gets you more views and can become an income at some point.
Plus for time zone purposes. -
@danvain
Balance by using a perk doesn't solve the core problem.
Say there a 5 core problems. You only have 4 perk slots.
See the issue? Which is........ a core problem......badm tis....sorry had to.....or rather....Baddham tis is dumb -
Give it one more year, bros. They said this year they want to cha ge things up. Let them have it. By the end, if no progress is done....then I can't really defend them so much.

Not bad ideas, but this game already has the ripper.I have to admit, you made me smile.
The idea is great though. -
Lore:
Name: Silvia Cendras
Silvia always dreamed of being a mother, playing from an early age House up till high school even. She was commonly sought out for help, as she always soothed the worries away. Upon graduation, she was confessed to by her childhood friend. The story's lights shine as he was the one who took the father role when playing.
Of course, she agreed with tears streaming out. Years passed, college ended, marriage happened, children born. She was blessed with adorable twins.
However, life smiles to hide a smirk. The father took out the kids for a birthday party one day. Misfortune fell, and the car got into an accident. None of her family survived.
Despair consumed Silvia for twelve years, until she found a new calling in life. Orphans. Silvia enrolled herself into a caretaker post at the Syrus Orphanage, where she over watched the growth of many children.
Yet life, once again, smirked. Two children got lost in the nearby woods. With the traumatic memories fueling her, she rushed to their aide.
The next morning, the kids showed up. Only Rescued by a hunter, Silvia never to be found again. -
Das actually pretty good.
Please do trapper next. -

@Wolf74 Those aren't so much survivor rules as they are personal rules imposed on themselves by killers who like to be kind. Any survivor who expects most of those is being unreasonable, because they're asking the killer to not play the game properly in essence. Although the first two of those are really unsportsmanlike and in my experience are only employed by killers who aren't good at the game or get triggered easily, the others are things no rational survivor would have a problem with. Sure the 4% thing sucks when you actually get it and then get put back on the hook, but if a killer does any of the last 5 things on that list I consider it a bonus of him being nice, not something I am entitled to.i'm not good at the game. not on any scale really.... but i do i consider myself a kind killer. i play as fairly as i possibly can. i'm not motivated by points and rank. i just play to have a good time. the important thing to remember (for me anyway) is that the survivors are ppl having a good time too. i'm not gonna purposely take the fun outta the game just because i have that option.... i know eventually i'll be good at the game. but in the meantime, theres no reason to be a sweaty tryhard.... you have look past the ranking and the bloodpoints. theres is a vast difference between ppl who play to win and ppl who play like winners.... so even if i get wrecked, i know i played like a winner....
@Fibijean said:
@Wolf74 I am a killer player and a survivor player. I play killer to have fun, not for ranks or points, which I suppose is where the difference comes in. Camping and tunneling are unsportsmanlike, because they're not giving everyone a fair go, and it's deliberately making the game unfun for other people. You might say that the balance issues don't give everyone a "fair go", but that's not within our control. What I can control is whether I play the game fairly, doing my best to ensure that it's fun for me and for everyone else. I do that when I play as survivor as well. In short, I am 100% on board with everything @deadwolfwalking said. Yes, everything on that list is a legitimate strategy. Yes, it sucks that some survivors rage when killers aren't doing anything wrong and give the rest of us a bad name. And yes, the killers are just "doing their job". But if you're the sort of person who doesn't just care about yourself, there are more important things than "doing your job", like being a good sport so that everyone can enjoy the game together, fostering a dynamic of friendly competition rather than aggression and hostility. With these two. Sure, 'winning' is fun. But ruining the chance the other party has, even if they aren't the nicest people, isn't really 'fun'.
I prefer giving everyone a chance. They fail, they failed.
They make it work, they made it work.
One good way to balance Flashlights would be either making it so only one flashlight can come before the start of the trial, or let killers have passive adapting powers (5 flashlights at max) -
No support for this animal. Sorry for the language but sexual abuse ( a 12 years old kid) is never to be forgotten. Let him suffer from that act.

I’m pretty sure it was just word of mouth by people trying to shoot down suggestions and it became so commonly said that everyone started to believe it. I’ve seen so many comments with similar things saying they will never come to DBD I.e. doll killers, supernatural killers, or werewolves. Same thing goes for people saying that the next killer will be original/licensed. So many people in the Steam forums said that the next killer would be original and the devs said so before the Pig was announced. I’ve watched just about ever stream and a I don’t ever recall them saying anything of the sort so I’m pretty sure it’s all just bs.There was actually a point when he said directly they wouldn’t make a clown due to clown phobias. Not only did that become a perk, but he bamboozeld us, and ALSO mad that a perk. Then at the last second pop goes the weasel, it turns out to be a clown

But tbh, what else can survivors do to escape?Looping isnt trying to escape. It's wasting the Killers time.
If people actually focused on trying to learn how to escape and less time running in circles maybe they'd figure it out. I never loop and I lose Killers all the time. The people that think Killers are impossible to lose or break the chase against are simply ill-experienced.
Breaking line of sight is always the number 1 rule to actually escaping a Killer. Breaking LoS and moving to a new location or double backing etc, doing some crazy mindgame during a pallet break or something rather than running in a straight line or just ducking into some nearby corner etc.
I can give you all the tips I want to escape a Killer. But until you attempt it yourself and learn how to do it yourself, you'll just continue to think looping is the only way.
please make guides, in all honesty and sarcasm. please. i enjoy some looping but at the end of the day it's boring. mind games are much more satisfactory.
