all exhaustion perks other than Dead Hard and Sprint burst are very situational. lithe is great on lery's ( feng min originating from that map) but on most cold wind farm it's useless in most chases. so perks like lithe got a non demanded nerf ( plus bamboozle ). Sprint and Dead hard should only require this no recovery penalty.

killer cosmetics are bit more tricky. For survivor outfits you can take real life clothes and boom that's it. for killer you need them to be a bit more original and scary...
plus, MAKING the clothes for survivor is easier. -
you know the perk thrill of the hunt? Killers want that. The thrill of finding a survivor, terrorize him as you get closer and closer, then land a downing hit. The hook is the sprinkle on the ice. when survivors come open arms to save....No thrill of any hunt is ignited .

Tyde Isn't Perfect just so you all know. He'll make mistakes just like any of you do. Is Myers truly on top tier? Maybe, maybe not. Some believe he is like tyde, some don't. it all goes down to the evidence and facts they provide in theory, and prove them in practice. This means any two opposing sides must play at least 100 games or so with the same circumstances and try out all different possibilities of any and all different variables . Simply, it's near impossible to do so. so the question remains truly unanswered : You make your own tier list, and share it. end of discussion.

Did tyde use means of marketing by grabbing people's attention for the aim to widen his subscriber circle like every single person on youtube, and every company? yes. is that bad? not really. I mean....no one makes a youtube channel and doesn't try to widen his circle.
Did tyde however try and appeal to desires? no. just no. He answered the question. some say that souls at stake is in fact a contender to DBD. Tyde gave his backed up opinion that it isn't.
all in all, Tyde says some smart stuff, some dumb stuff. like me. like you. and he did not use clickbait. only natural means of grabbing attention.
Not really a tyde fan, i just watch some of his videos every now and then. -
you know what would be great with that mode? new perks : like you help the other killer with aura sharing perks and the like... would bring some real new content

Y'all are getting to tense over extremes.
The game's design is this : Hide for as long as you can while completing objectives, and when you get found, run to lose time if you're good at it, or Juke the killer if you're a pro.
The killer is meant to have arsenals strong enough to be able to find you. stealthing all game is near impossible because of this. The system acknowledges this with chase point. at some point, you will get into a chase, and the skill factor comes in.
to clarify. stealth builds allow you to be the least targeted. that means you're the least at risk. and the killer will go around killing others while you live. Y'all forgot there are three more survivors and every second in a chase is a second done on 3 diffrent generators. -

The game is going right now in a decent direction.
We gotta give prep to the devs abput that.
Of course, no devs are perfect, but these devs are starting to make up for the past mistakes.
This game is really awesome, no matter how much we whine about it. If we whine, it's because we love it.
So a big cheer to the devs, and hopefully they will continue on this road.
Let us help you, and just see how much this game will rise. -
Seems cool but the power is a bit unclear. Does the sprint act like nurse's blink, as in a straight path to the survivor? Or is it like Billy? Either way it feel like getting one certain hit, then chase for another. It feels too much like a buffe wraith or pig. The concept is cool, but it has already been taken. If you could change the power, it would be better

If you don't mind, I enjoy creating concepts and lore. so I'll give it a go :
The Cultist
Name : Jonathan Ryler
Ever since childhood, Jonathan's link to the occult was strong. The shows portraying monsters and mythological creatures were his favorite, and he'd ignore the cartoons any kid at his age would watch.
The stories used to scare children fascinated him to the core. He even used to stay awake, to provoke these denzens he'd hear of. Of course, when he was never visited by such monsters, he took a step too far.
apparently his grandmother told him the story of the Bad Man, one who snags children who harm others. It is obvious that he did exactly that, only the fun and games really made one lose an eye, even two. His' , and the other's.That night was a heavy beating, and Jonathan learned that humans are also monsters. And so his discovery ended with splendid results, discovery wise.
the years passed with Jonathan never nearing the occult. Until College, that is. The place of Freedom when it comes to social interaction. He joined an occult group, and soon became the Leader.
This college group was a home to him now. A place where his curiosity was allowed free roam.
Soon this home brought him a splendid present. For his Birth day, he received an old dust covered book, wrapped in rags, stained with blood. He rushed home, fueled with a desire to open the book.
And so he did, and so the book never left his trembling hands. Crypts and Symbols, followed by imperceptible whispers. He felt an inexplicable urge to satisfy whatever the book urged him to do.
he killed a bird, and understood a symbol.
he killed a dog, and deciphered a crypt.
he cut his ear off, and saw blood inking.
he killed his parents, and felt the whispers.
he killed his group mates, and saw blazing figures manifesting to reach him.
But they didn't. they didn't, yet.
The small neighborhood, lost around 25 resident, and 26 on a red moon night. Oddly, the red moon shouldn't have come this year....Weapon :An obsidian knife, weakened by time, dyed by blood, empowered by the entity. The Cultist Slashes with ardor.
Ability : Blood Pen : The Obsidian knife has a strange hole at the tip of the blade, in addition to a strange tip at the end of the handle, working as a pen, allowing blood ink writings. With every hit, gain two charges.
Blood symbol : 1 sec to draw : If a survivor walks or sprints near the marking, they are revealed for 3 seconds. 1 charge requiered
Heat Symbol : 2 sec to draw : If a survivor walks or sprints near the marking, they are exposed for 30 seconds. 3 charges required
Soul Symbol : 2.5 sec to draw : If a survivor is nearby the marking ( even crouched ), they are instantly hurt one state and are revealed for 2 seconds . requires 4 charges
Entity symbol : 5 sec to draw : if a survivor is nearby the marking, he is transitioned to a hook ( does not skip a hook stage, so if they were in the struggle phase, and walked past the marking, they would continue from their stopping point ) ( the hook is the nearest to the killer) 5 charges requiredthe ultra rare addons : start with 2 charges for one ; the second is the ability to harvest one charge from blood pools
perks : A Sacrifice To Please : the entity enjoys the feast you give. For every survivor hooked, you gain a token increasing your action speed by 5/ 10/15 percent for each token. "the more, the more...simple enough
Favored Devout : You have pleased the entity, and so received it's blessings. opened chests may contain an addon you can equip. every tier ups the chance of a greater addon "THANK YOU. THANK YOU!"
Preaching : You call to them to sacrifice themselves, the ultimate honor for ignorants . upon pressing the activation button, one survivor/ three survivors/ all survivors in your terror radius suffer from reduced action speed by 10/15/20 percent

Most likely the wires we see Jake working on ( the intro ) , as stated by WeirdKid.
Though it could be a myriad of things. We don't really know what's in the generators, and saying that they are the same as this world's generators is incorrect.
you see the entity can replicate what it sees....but here's the problem : what it sees isn't always understood.
the generators themselves aren't linked to anything, yet they "power up the exit gates"
So what is inside the generators may be a bunch of parts like a puzzle, or a bunch of wires that need connecting, and the " precise timing " may vary from Shifting gear that needs to be stopped, to carefully inter touching the wires ( like Jake was doing ), to inserting components while some gear work.
and it is very unfortunate but we don not have any blueprints of the generators. Only appearances. And in the entity's realm, appearances hardly matter. -

Just a quick remark. Everything in the realm of the entity IS the entity. Devs confirmed this. even fire, which is a natural source of light....
Light born, the perk, also questions the weakness to light. The spirit world is a damp place, that's for sure, so i get light being it's weakness.
My theory is the following. The spirit world allows the entity to craft and manipulate, and then manifest into the real world. so For example, bloodwarden is made in the spirit realm, then manifested in the entity realm, this ignoring all light weaknesses. this is backed up with Wraith's powers. flashlight him all you want in the realm of the entity, nothing happens, yet spirit world is a a world of pain.... To note that Black fog manifests too. Perhaps all matter turn into this black ooze in the spirit realm? and the almost fire like orange is the re- creation and construction of that matter? -

well friendship is really a loose term to use to interpret survivor's relationships.
They want to escape. A bloodthirsty killer on their backs. A Huge Creature with anomalous powers wanting them as fooder. Most wont care about others in this situation.
they're more or less partners. they get from the other what they can, while giving what they can.
of course you'd consider rescuing from hook, assuming that if you ever get the 'special treatment' you'd have back up.....BUT. A CHAINSAW WIELDING DEFORMED 6F TALL MAN WANTING TO CRUSH YOUR SKUL, will most likely provoke a ' nope ' response in most people.
And if they were so innocent as to overlook this ( probs Claudette) then surely they met the consequences.....
they aren't really friends. they just need each other. as bait. as team mates.

This could be vigo's doings. As far as we know Vigo has succeeded in making a toolbox and a shroud and even a jar of salty lips.
they may have been able to make these boxes as to give some messages to future survivors.
for the gear-sphere ; possible entity gimmick, guys. The more the survivor is in the realm, the more adept they become. however, this doesn't mean that their hope goes up. Quite the contrary. With time, they will start to loose their memories. What the previous world looked like, their family, even speech! they can't talk in the entity's realm, and thinking might become dull from the stress and the pain.
so perhaps when the adept survivor is really close to running out of hope, the entity gives them this gear-sphere, they might think it's the key to salvation.....but what if upon using it on a gen or the gate, it closes everything down ? thus it makes the survivor bloom with hope, feeding the entity a great feast, then losing hope and becoming a killer....

you see, the lore of this game is really vague and ambiguous. the devs even stated that it is made along the way. that means they can add, or even subtract anything at any given time.
Two individuals here got into a heated debate over something that can be approved or disapproved by the devs with a mere yes / no.
arguments are really worthless if you think about it. No matter what, the devs can say ":kate was able to procure a guitar. She felt she needed to continue the song. blah blah blah...." or a simple "no"
so for the two who argued : you can only give an opinion. 'prof' is an illusion of sense when it comes to this, THIS, THIS , THISSSSSSSSSS, ( THIS AND I HIGHLIGHT THIS) lore.
plus..........one side apologized, the other didn't. I'm sorry, but the one that did not apologize has to at least acknowledge the fact that he was a bit stingy. though i have seen many posts made by said person and they are extremely devoted to this game, hence why I understand their actions.
in a nutshell, MAYBE. that's the only answer.

killer main ; Gen-Rushing is not real. it is survivors doing their one and only job. want to deal with gen- rush? you give more objectives to survivors.
tunneling doesn't exist. it's killer doing his job.
camping is the safe play for killer. but only nets him one or two kills if the survivors know what they are doing ( aka, said non existent genrush) -

I agree that the adrenaline of the chase ( thrill of the hunt for the hunter and the hunted) is fun. Yet juking the killer (aka out smarting him/her) is a lot more rewarding. For example, I out ran him but stunning him and using a variety of perks and windows opportunities===> Has some skill, i won't deny that
However, I ran him/her around a window, hid somewhere and had him/her running past me while I grit my teeth hoping my gamble payed off...And it does ======> Extremely satisfactory , as I beat another with sheer intellect and skills.
At this point, running the killer is more of a casual play, while jukes and stealth are the hard-core play...... Also, there are no tryhards or I M M E R S E D players... . That's just trying to win and actually playing the game. Except the use of meta constantly and abusing exploits===> horrible player. -
