#########!? Why isn't Quentin on that list??
-
In my case I do it for safety reasons, just to make sure they don't untrap themselves while I'm walking up to grab them. It may seem a very small window, but it's incredible how much it can ######### you up if they escape just when you're about to grab them directly from the trap.
-
Thought it was all in one run until the 3rd...
-
I suppose the initial nerf came in so fast it feels as it's always been so... =/
-
lol, it doesn't even work on pc...
-
No, healing survivors FROM dying state automatically wakes them up, that includes unbreakable. It's always been like that. And yeah, it sucks.
-
As Killer I always type gg at end game match, wether i did well or not. When survivors get salty at me for killing them at whatever cost (mori, tunnel, camp, i don't care) I always follow with this: "gg = git gud".

You can run Iron Maiden as a decent counter. Even if they're asleep and you can't see their auras, the moment the Survivor exits the locker, you'll get a notification, be able to see them again, AND they'll be Exposed.Sure, waste a perk slot to counter a unintentional nerf. You know what? That doesn't even cover it because one of the few good things about Freddy's power WAS grabbing ppl FROM the lockers (if they were dumb enough to hide in one while asleep)...
-
I like how ppl consider him even worse than Freddy. lol

Regarding Freddy though, he's going to be reworked. This is not to nerf Freddy. It is though until he actually he gets reworked, which won't happen until next year. So yeah, thanks for that nerf, Devs...

What if a killers doesn't play for BPs but for kills? Every killer match I go into I play to get as many kills as I can (or at least 3, cause I rarely slug to prevent the hatch from opening). BPs just come along. My fun from the killer parts comes from, well... killing! And considering the game mechanics, as someone already stated in this thread, tunnelling is the most efficient way towards a 4k goal. What is more efficient in terms of twice? Having to chase a surv up to two hits to hook them? Or getting the same result with one hit?
And besides, ppl don't play SWF because they have a hard time in solo q. They play SWF because (brace yourselves) they want to play with friends!
That being said, I do think that all these recent killer buffs could've been halved if SWF wasn't a thing. That feature alone is what breaks the game mechanics the most.

As many said, it's a matter of practice. I'm pretty much going through the same. I am still to find a consistent performance. Some games I thrash them, sometimes I get thrashed. Try different builds until you find the one that suits you best (short cast time for chases, stealth for gen grab, etc).
Anyway, here are a few vids that may offer some cool tips:

Camping is an allowed strategy according to the developers. As much as it's boring to do, sometimes it helps the Killer win. This is just reason enough to end the argument. If it's not against the rules, deal with it. As good old bricky says, killers don't have to follow any made up code of honor. Either because the context of the game seems to make it pay off or you just freaking want to, Killers shouldn't excuse themselves for this. Same us it's pointless asking survivors why they do one gen after the other.
Ffs, it's a two sided multiplayer game. One side is not "responsible" for the other's "fun". It's up to oneself.
-
I never liked BW because I think the time it gives doesn't really pay off. I often thought it'd be a much more interesting perk if it would reset its timer for every hook you make while it's active.
-
Tried running it, i am still to get five tokens for it to be profitable. Maybe they should add a passive effect that it increases the chance of triggering a skillcheck...
-
Try going with premonition, it'll at least give you a clue as from which direction he's coming from.

The problem with Freddy is that most people try to use him as any regular chasing killer. The point of his power is actually NOT wasting too much time in chases. Besides, his add ons combined with certain perks allow him for one of the most varied range of playstyle any killer can have. To name a few: you can play 3 second transition build, dying light build, class photo build...
He's my main killer, I made it to rank 1 playing only him. He may be the weakest killer, but that's only considering his base power without any other feature. But he can be a lot of fun to play as, if you know what you're doing. Just, don't ######### commit to a regular chase...
-
I usually like facing Nurses. It's a challenge but she's a killer you actually have to juke to get away from, rather than just loop to oblivion...

Baby, wanna try Enduring my Slippery Meat?

awwww!! I want you to hold me with Iron Grasp and make the world be Left Behind...

I know what he means. It's happened to me as well, having finished the vault animation and taken one step away from the window and still got hit. It can be pretty annoying sometimes...
edit: it's not like the killer stretching his arm through the window, but more likely tossing his weapon through it tbh XD

Why would I play Hag or Freddy over Huntress? I may enjoy playing them, but I know for a fact if I get decent Survivors in my lobby, I'm not going to have a good time. No Killer should feel powerless against Survivors. I don't even tunnel or camp, but I can't even complete a chase with a Killer like Freddy before multiple generators have been completed. If I continue to chase, then I will lose. If I don't continue the chase, then the Survivor will get away and heal, and I'll still lose.Well, with this little part I can tell you are among those who play Freddy just as if he was a Wraith and that's what gives Freddy that much of a bad credit. Granted, he's got some important weaknesses to address but you (and many others) make him sound a lot worse than he actually is. Freddy IS about breaking chases. Helloooooo!!! Aura reading?!?! Take it from a rank 1 Freddy: whenever a surv takes me to the third loop in a row I just say "ok, mate! see ya in a bit" and go control a generator only to come back to him when he's healing. Not all killers are meant to be played the same. And you don't tunnel or camp? Well, that's just you putting a cap on your performance. Nothing stops you from doing either both if the context is the best for it.
-
Uhmm, neither side? He's a lot of fun for me. Actually made it to rank 1 playing only him...
-
What do they do?? Well they gather at The Cool Killers Club, of course!
or wait... was it The Hookers?
-
-1 for me.
I used to watch him, but he lost my respect with the killer tier list and his opinion on the emblem system. I think he rushed into an opinion with little to no arguments to support it.

Pineapple pizza is THE pizza.
Anyone who hates it is dead inside...

You are my obssesion because you landed a decisive strike on my heart.

Currently, it's Quentin, dunno why but I find him... likeable XD
My first main though was Jake (sabo Jake).

Tunneling, as annoying as can be, is also a very efficient gameplay for a killer. If there are 4 survivors, and you hook one, and you start chasing another one, then that means that one will get the hook rescue and another one is doing a gen. If there are only 3 survs, you eliminate from the equation the one doing the gen. Once again, I know it's annoying to be tunneled but it's a very reasonable thing for a killer to do. After all, the killer is not supposed to give you an easy game...
-
Claudettes who think that crouching is an auto camo and do it in the open hoping the killer will be that blind...
-
I personally hate facing a Myers. There are so many things about him that annoy me. His muteness, the way he stalks but the fact I hate the most when going against him is that his add ons provide him of a wide variety of possible gameplays and you always have to be guessing what it'd be: all seeing, speed evil, infinite tier 3... you never know until it's too late.
(on a side note, loved to see all the Freddy hate, lol! Tbh, I'm one hell of an annoying Freddy main...)
-
For me it goes like this:
1) Freddy
2) Huntress
3) Trapper
4) Billy
5) Doc
6) Nurse
7) Wraith -
Gotta give Quentin boy some love. I like running a "nurse Quentin" build and farm benevolency...
-
He's the most fun killer to play as for me...
-
A 4 seconds transition would make him pretty strong. I humbly ask to at least allow Freddy to interrupt actions during transition. And yeah, autoaim not going for awak survs would also help A LOT.
I'd start testing those two and then see if anything else is needed. But anyway, I wouldn't refuse a base 4 secs transition! lol.
-
From this list, Huntress. It's a no brainer for me. Not only I find her very well balanced while still fun to play, but also her concept design (lore, looks, personality) is beautifully crafted. Even though I don't main her, she's my cellphone wallpaper.
-
Count me in! Freddy main here! Once you get the hang of him, he can be pretty strong with the right build. I just have so much fun using him...
