This completely contradicts a statement made by Mandy about the counterplay barley a month ago about confusion about the counterplay, now the dev team seems confused about counterplay. what else is the revault referring too

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/0TR0E6J51YTU/image.png

To be fair, neither of then are within the balancing team. (Both balrog and mandy(

They are both just in the middle between us and the game designers.

So they probably know as much as anyone you met outside.

It is a bit sad how we still have no clear communication or guide on how to counter ghoul.

(People can speculate all you want but the only offcial guideline we have was from mandy's comment which got bugfixed)

  • After some consideration.

Its clear that bhvr straight up doesnt want to nerf the s-tiers to a true balanced state.

Either because money or negliance or incompetence, they simply will never do it.

So, what can we do?, the same thing killers have been doing, aiming for the perks.

So, i will be shouting for blood favour to be nerfed.

Unironically a higher chance to be nerfed than a killer for some reason.

  • @skwillexy said:

How about buffing F tier killers so you see killers besides Nurse and Blight? No?

    Already did.

We almost buffed every low tier or reworked some of them.

Pyramid head, freddy, singularity, knight, trickster, myers.

Not every killer is perfect but there are solid contenders.

The problem is, as long as you have an absurdly easy yet powerful alternative, no one would bother to consistently play anyone else.

Why would i play myers if ghoul/blight/nurse do it better and easier than what i mentioned?

This is not a new bug; this is a bug fix. We can confirm it's intended!

Cant wait for them to upload a guide against ghoul since they bug fixed the only consistently counterplay against him.

Another chapter, another yapper. Why would I want to play a character who's going to constantly monologue in the lobby or worse? It kills the immersion of playing said character. This game was not designed with voice lines in mind and each additional character further detracts from the quality.

Is Yun-Jin going to silently glare back when spoken to? Will Jake acknowledge another Korean speaker? It doesn't matter. There's infinite possibilities with older and future content but those bases will never be covered. It's going to be the same handful of repetitive one-liners.

Does it add short term novelty for someone? Sure. But this will be another hard pass for me. By all means continue with adding voice acting but there is no downside to adding a mute Toggle for players who want the classic experience or just a break. I just have no desire to third wheel as characters unrelated to me gab off.

I do wish if there was an option to turn it off.

Its pretty distracting and ruining the dbd atmosphere when im getting chased/chasing.

2V8 is still one of the most balanced modes for me. I have a pretty normal Survivor escape rate but a slightly inflated Kill rate. I've been paired with Nemi as a partner in almost every Killer game though, so it's possible that 6V8 with the Zombies on our side really helps to slow the gens a fair amount.

Only BHVR really know if 2V8 is this or that sided this time around. Our own stats don't tell us much about the mode for the player base as a whole.

Even us survivor mains know that this mode is beyond unbalanced as hell.

From the 200 pallets, pallet respawns, to the triple dashes, group/camping expose. Its so unfunny how we got old three blink nurse and machine gun huntress with aura read spam.

The worst part?, most likely made intentional, it wouldnt be like that if bhvr actually bothered to make people interested in playing survivor.

But since they wanna bring the mode back every 3 months, they barely can give content for this mode and somehow thought adding legion was such a good idea when everyone warned them not to, almost killing the mode entirely.

It took over a year and 7 iterations to add a new survivor class, meanwhile they added 11 new killers to 2v8 since they added the 5 og killers.

If they really cared, they would stop adding killers and fixed the long killer queues and low interest for survivor. By adding MORE survivor classes.

Killer is way too easy to play in this 2v8. Unless you are brand new to the game you should be getting 6-7 sacrifices every game. I have been playing mostly survivor which is very hard to get over half to escape. I've played killer a few times and every match was at least 6 sacrifices if not 8.

Whenever i played legion, i almost always won.

Wierd how i cant do it as ghostface or chucky....hmmmm

Yeah, the Anti-Tunnel and Anti-Slug changes show perfectly what the issue is. BHVR tried to implement some good and meaningful changes, but since players feared they win too less with those, mass complaints happen and now everything is scrapped. And this will happen again and again, until either of two things happen:

    1. The Community accepts that it MIGHT happen that they win less, but will understand if they win TOO less, then the measurements will be tweaked - looking at the Anti-Tunnel changes, tweaks would have been easy and logical. Punishment too hard? Lower it. Benefit too small for not tunneling? Increase it. Still too much tunneling? Increase the Punishment. etc…
    2. BHVR stops listening to the loud and whiny people. And then push their ideas through and tweak them on Live. Again - it would have been easy to tweak the PTB-changes back then. And BHVR used to be like this in the past, they listened, but did not suddenly do everything the community asked.

I have to disagree with Anti-Hiding tho, the initial system was way too punishing since you got AFK-crows when you just played the game normally with occasional hiding when the Killer was nearby or if you just traversed around the map finding a new Gen. But the current implementation is probably too lenient, I have not seen a AFK crow in months on any player in my games (which is a good thing, but probably means that it triggers not often enough).

So obviously the players are at fault. But i also think that BHVR is partially at fault, if you design something where you expect that parts of the community will not like it, you have to prepare to still stick with it and then make changes from there. Listening to loud people just to scrap everything in a few hours you have probably worked on for months is just dumb.

For example, the slugging changes was a good idea.

It punishes killers who do nothing but slug over and over continuesly without a real reason without picking up within a reasonable time frame (120s)

This easily could've been expanded upon like the anti-camp addition and reworked until it benefited both players.

But of course, it got scrapped like the rest of the changes.

And now people call for an exhaustion nerf, which makes no sense to do so, stat wise (its at 40% on all mmr on all groups besides 4 man awfs) and because. If our problems cant be solved, why would i let myself be handicapped further with no insurance of getting compensated for it?.

  • @SoGo said:

So, what do I mean by that?

It's really simple. The reason we can't have anything nice, the reason all the new players quit, the reason why "everyone tunnels/everyone is genrushing".

It's us. The "I HAVE to win" mentality, the constant Us VS Them arguments, the sheer, radioactive toxicity oozing out of every interaction between players.

BHVR doesn't help as much as they should. True. But what can you even do with a decrepit cesspit that the DbD community is?

Shouldn't the point of a game be to have fun? To have a break from stress and relax?

Its both the community and the devs.

There is no excuse to kill off an item 2 weeks into release because one side couldnt handle it.

But let a killer run rampant with bugs that give unfair advantages for 9 months.

Either let both run rampant or switch off both off them with nerfs or a killswitch, not one over the other.

Even if the devs arent biased, you will look bias if you keep pulling stuff like this continuesly.

Damn, what a text. Thanks for your detailed opinion.

Trust me, I thought about it for a long time and these are the 3 things that bother me the most about 2v8. I've also thought about things on the survivor side that bother me, but I came to the conclusion that I feel fine with it overall. Survivor is pretty easy in 2v8 - at least for me - I have a higher escape rate than in 1v4. And you won't believe it but I would call myself a survivor main. I usually play survivor / killer in a ratio of 75 to 25 %, in 2v8 it is 66,66 to 33,33 %.

There is no certain killer which is problematic in 2v8, some are strong (Nurse, Blight, Billy for example) and some are weak (Deathslinger, Trapper, Ghost Face for example). If we talk about powers you have to consider it in relation to entire DbD.

I don't see it as pessimistically as you do and I am not afraid that 2v8 will lose many players if BHVR do these changes. I'm okay with 2v8 staying survivor sided but it would be closer to being balanced. The new option "Play as survivor while waiting for a killer match" helped a lot imo.

"Guide" has already been bad before. The nerf was unnecessary, that's true, but it has never been a problem.

And I don't see "Torchbearer" as a problem. It is my favorite role to go right now besides Scout and I only go for flashlight saves if my downed mates are close to me. Of course, there always will be some people who follow the killers and try to flashlight save every survivor but these people are rare in 2v8. Many people are far too inexperienced with flashlights or flashbangs, so they chose other roles.

The "8 gens situation" often forces me to be competitive and not staying casual, even though I'd like to. You should read my second comment on this post.

I don't want to have reduced pallet spawns overall, just on certain maps like Red Forest, Greenville or Shattered Square. These maps (just talking about the 2v8 versions) have way more pallet spawns than the rest. Map balancing is one of the biggest issues in DbD, more than killer or survivor balancing imo. A map with strong loops, tiles and pallets can make weak survivors unkillable, meanwhile survivors have hardly a chance against two stealth killers like Wraith and Ghost Face on Treatment for example.

About Escapist: Even killers like Nurse, Blight, Oni etc. can struggle with this role because they can't "fake" a lunge when they use their power and Escapist lets you easily dodge it.

To your last point: Wdym with "so lets just nerf the low-tiers"? Is this sarcasm towards the devs? Or did you actually mean "buff the low-tiers"?

Nerfing the side that lacks players is not a good idea.

Which is what my 1v4 comparasion was for.

Until bhvr is forced to add a high bp bonus just to have people playing survivor, we simply cant afford to nerf survivor.

I played 2v8 survivor soloq and its people throwing the game for flash saves and dying every 20s.

Even in an 8 man swf, its the same problem since ita considered casual.

So i dont bother playing it, as a survivor main.

It can't even be considered high mmr anymore. the second you win like 3 games as either role, you're already up there. There's only low mmr, and then average mmr.

It isnt but people love to pretend its so hard to get up there.

constant dcs, players who urban evade across the map and can’t loop with no self awareness with 50-100 hours against the sweatiest 5k hour streamer blight mains… I just don’t get it?

The problem is, everyone is at high mmr.

But there is no difference between someone with 1600 mmr and someone with 2600 mmr, you both could get matched even though you are both in vastly different ranges thanks to the removal of the soft-cap.

  • @HexPectoPatronum said:

First: I play both sides nearly equally (2 survivor matches between 2 killer matches), play 2v8 since the beginning and have 8k hours in DbD.

    1.) 10 generators instead of 8

You doubled everything in 2v8 except the gens and I don't understand why. I had a few matches where 5 gens were done in like 3-4 minutes while the killers only gained 2-3 hookstages meanwhile. I usually escape as survivor in 2v8 unless my team and myself "let the killers win", because we're too altruistic or don't do gens quick enough. If the survivors are just trying in 2v8, the killers usually have hardly a chance.

2.) Pallet density is still a problem

The pallet density in 2v8 seems still unbalanced on certain maps. On Red Forest or Shattered Square for example you have multiple pallets like every 3 metres and often doubled. Meanwhile on other maps like Coldwind Farm I still notice dead zones (I'm not talking about the edge of the map).

    3.) Escapist is OP

The only role I have a problem with is Escapist, because you shouldn't be able to dodge a hit by using a button (that gives me old Dead Hard flashbacks). Sprint Burst is nothing compared to Escapist because you can already be running and still trigger Escapist and not just for yourself, but also for your mates. It's just too strong, I hardly play it myself as survivor.

looks inside the post : claims they both play both sides.
its all just survivor nerfs….is dissapointed.

    1. this mode will always be survivor sided,
as long as you make people 10x more interested and drawn to killer than you survivor, this isnt a bias, the ratio is 4 to 1 or 8 to 2. you need 4x more incentives to play survivor than killer, not the other way around.

this will never get fixed unless people advocate for better content incentivses to play survivor, not just for survivor mains, but for killer aswel. otherwise if you do get what you want, everyone would jump into the killer queues and never bother to play survivor, increasing the queues to 60+ mins.

this mode constantly needing 300-400% bp bonus to even sustain itself is proof enough that the mode cant handle without its survivors. which is what you are going to do with these changes.

    2. the gen "problem" Has been already adressed by killing off guide,
the class made for gens for any gen rushing potetional it had by making it a troll class for wiretap and blastmine,
now the worst class in the game by wide margain.
and now also have another new class that incentivises people to throw the game more and further for flashlights saves,
as if you dont have enough people, already ignored the objective.

you got enough pressure and slowdown, from these changes, and if anything,

low tier killers like chucky and ghostface need cooldown reductions.
those killer who barely can keep up with the pallets
not a wide-basekit buff to killer that doesnt need it, like blight, spirit/oni and nurse. dominating the meta.

    3. the mode needs to stay casual,
not competitive where everyone needs to aim for the wins. thats not what the mode is for.
which is why increasing the gens to 10 and reducing pallet spawns, make no sense.
in balance, maybe this would be possibility, but the mode is casual and doesnt take balance not too seriously.

    4. Escapist is annoying, not overpowered.
i agree, the on demand sprint-burst makes no sense to rework or to be added.
but thats all the changes it needs. its what the class is designed for, for loopers and getting chased.
its annoying to always have the survivors sprint away the moment you start the chase,
but thats more of a killer balance problem for low tiers and maybe a class limit of 2. than a "escapist is op" problem.

    5. the obvious bias to one side.
its clear that these changes only target survivors.
the side that lack the most players as i said on the first point.
and i have already said why the mode is most likely the way it is. due to points of #3 and #1.

this doesnt mean you dont play enough survivor,
but you either dont understand the gamemode or the survivor side enough,
to really understand, why these changes are not warranted or why these changes will not happen.

if you still dont understand it, ill make it a 1v4 killer comparasion to hopefully understand the frustration of,
    constantly reading "nerf survivor 2v8"

    i play both sides,
but we dont have enough killers playing a variety of killers.
    so ill suggest this :
so lets just nerf the low-tiers because those are the "more annoying" killers to face.
y'know, the player variety that lacks most players for the killer side?.

i hope this feedback understands why these changes are counter-productive and harm the gamemode more than it does good.

thank you and have a nice day.

Is the reason why survivors only tool of defense is : doing gens optimally, switching to killer or playing something else.

Its not just a "survivor mains control the game" last year 90% of the changes we got was mostly killer feedback.

Thats simply the consequence of listening to one side and ignoring the other.

The problem is, if you are that survivor.

The only thing you can do is delay the trap-kill and get downed over and over while trying to do boxes.

Which, you realistically cant escape and it as boring as 4 min bleedout slugs.

2ndary objective which can snowball into a 4k.

And you can beat most clueless people, since the game never tells you how to optimally counter their power.

  • @runningguy said:

not sure why they left out most used and deadliest killers at high MMR but included most used and deadliest killers for mid MMR. High MMR indicates sweaty players that play to win, im curious what killers are mostly used in this area of the game and what the kill rates are for the high MMR killers such as blights. i would be surprised if killers like freddy and pin head that are relatively easy to counter in a team would be in the high MMR list.

Another interesting point is how mid MMR escape rates are generally the same regardless of SWF but high MMR escape rates improve the more they have SWF…..This suggests mid MMR when people just goof around and meme, being in SWF does not improve escape rates. While high MMR where people play to win, the escape rates do get higher the more thats in a team which indicates SWF with comms with the intent to win can aid survivors considerably. It goes from 37% solo to 45%. 4man SWF.

Its also interesting that there is actually an increase in the amount of SWF players in high MMR. Many people claim "your not getting SWF teams that often". These stats show that high MMR do have higher chance of getting SWF teams compared to mid MMR.

We didnt get more stats because the brazilian dbd account where the og post came from, didnt post these stats. Even if they did, it would all still be based around brazil only. so people would just pointlessly argue that it doesnt matter or it does matter because its only from brazil

The stats worldwide on high mmr for 4 man indeed show an slight increase by 4%.

But you seem to get 6% more soloq players in high

Less duos by 8% conpared to low mmr

And less trios. By 2%. So you get around a 16% advantage overall or 12% if you include swf increase. Worldwide, at "high mmr".

Overall, killers still get easier games even at "high mmr" because of how much more likely it is that they get a soloq match. Which is supposed to be the relic of "sweaty survivors only".

Its more likely that not all survivors are stupid and that they do play optimally so much to the point that you feel like you play against cordinated teams when in reality its just the mmr elo hell for everyone. Bringing out the best and worst (terms of toxicity) in them.

  • @runningguy said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4058290#Comment_4058290

you would think this is common knowledge but there has been discussions claiming SWF teams with comms do not increase escape rates by that much and previous SWF escape rates as a whole being pretty much in line with soloq escapes rates as evidence of this….These new stats show a wider gap between solo and SWF when people play to win using comms which and also somewhat filters out the sections i wanted filtered out. i dont want casuals being included in the stats when discussing the impact coordinated teams can have on the killer because they are irrelevant and potentially reduce escape rates for SWF as a whole making it seem like coordinated teams are not that effective.

They usually do, the problem is that people go to the extremes and act like all swfs using coms are cheating (for using discord on coms) or because they can beat the killer since they have no weak link to exploit.

Its obvious that its always been soloq < killer < swf

But not every swf is a swf that wants to win or knows what they are doing.

I had countless swfs who either had no idea what they were doing, doing a chill game with no serious builds or even throwing for flash saves.

Even on "high mmr" this still happens frequently, yet people act like all they get is a comp 4 man squad, all having 3k hours.

Either justifying that to never buff soloq

    Or

To nerf swfs to have a penalty, which will just make people play more sweaty.

  • @halcyondays93 said:

I find it interesting that the amount of 4-man squads in high MMR is only 17% in Brazil and 15% worldwide. Very interesting indeed.

You also get high and low mmr.

Which means, you get around a swf squad maybe one in 5 matches.

I think this is as accurate as it can get.

(But i can already see people arguing that their region is harder than eu/na)

  • its such a wierd situation because killers had no reason to slug before, but they always did.

even in the first iterations, they slugged because of pressure or because they simply can.

now killer do got a valid reason again, thanks to pallet and flashlight saves.

its not like there was 1v4 when predicting this change to 2v8…but alas, we are probably too stupid for the developers to understand that casualty thats so needed for survivor by throwing the game….

(its not like that wasnt bad enough in 1v4 but sure bhvr, make it into 2v8 that barely anyone asked for, over boon class or item-hoarder class)

  • @random1543 said:

The lack of content for survivor in 2v8. (30min killer queues)

Generally anything that is perceived as being "killer sided" tends to get downvoted here and on reddit. Simply due to the nature that there are statistically 4x as many survivor mains as there are killer mains. And people like to use downvotes when they don't like something someone says without actually engaging in a conversation with them because its easier.

On reddit you can easily get alot more upvotes by just spewing killer us vs them than survivor.

I know because i have seen alot of profiles get tausend of upvotes just doing that.

But whenever i do it, it rarely goes to 500. If at all, its honestly luck reliant, but i can spew killer us vs them and get consistent results. Especially on offical subs or killer main subs.

I only got to 1.1k once because of 2v8 being so abysmally boring for survivor and how they didnt get a single new class, yet add new killers almost every iteration.

A reason why people dont really bother to rebute us vs them claims, is because, from experince it does nothing, just wastes energy, time and sanity.

For example, i would say you dont need to tunnel because you can play strong meta builds and win without doing so, or because most of the time you encounter soloq players with no coms, which you can easily pub-stomp.

Will my or your opinion change if we discuss?, most likely not, just like politics, you most likely wont change someones opinion if they already like a side very much.

You would think killers are oppressed and need to tunnel because they dont need to, regardless what we say, do or even show as evidence, like statistics.

This isn’t a complaint, more a genuine query.

Is there currently an issue with M2 hitboxes on Xbox as killer (and particularly in 2v8)? I am UK based and on Xbox Series X, and the Hillbilly chainsaw hitbox seems to be all over the place - sometimes I hit a survivor a metre away, other times I don’t hit a survivor who I hit perfectly. There is no ping showing and my internet is solid.

This issue seems to be almost entirely confined to the 2v8 mode as opposed to normal.

    Funnily enough.

I was whiffing and missing on 2v8 killer was more than i used to before.

Weather it was as ghostface, wraith or anyone else.

I thought it was because of rust or skill issue.

But then i see this and realised....this might genuinely be an issue.

(I sadly didnt record any of it, idk why you would clip yourself missing numberous times)

As I already said, that wont be enough to shift the queue times, nothing short of actually adding a tangible, worthwhile bonus to playing as Survivor will, like Iri Shards. That's basically the only thing that will get people who just want to play 2v8 Killer to switch over to playing 2v8 Survivor.

New mechanics like new Survivor classes will only get people to switch over to Survivor for like 1 or 2 matches to try out the new thing before they switch right back to Killer.

Making the BP multiplier even higher also won't make a big enough difference either, because a significant portion of the playerbase does not care about BP because they've already unlocked everything they want to unlock and don't care about getting to high Prestige levels.

Plus Survivor absolutely does not need to be any stronger in 2v8.

They will never give iri shards away, they barely give them away in the battlepass or weeklys.

Maybe an xp boost but they havent done that in years.

    Its probably hopeless.

  • And you couldnt email bhvrs support about this?.

The Community Stream revealed this new condition Killers who break pallets with there power will no longer be able to use perks like Spirit Fury

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/7I9740R04HPY/20260219-184510.jpg

Thats one way to nerf blight with his braindead anti-loop loadout.

  • @Royval said:

Overall very good community stream 👏

I know this will just be another killer buff which everyone will play for like 2 months.

And then go back to ghoul and blight.

Instead of just nerfing the high tiers so everyone can have some variety instead of playing the same 4 killers.

Yes, but Ghoul was three chapters back, almost a year. The greed of initial sales was over long ago. Other killers have been nerfed far closer to their release date.

The greed being he was bugged for 9 months, not 1 or 3, the entire duration 24/7, always bugged.

    Kidnap tech for 6 months

Then biting through walls (yes that was apperently a bug fix) for 9 months

And after that was the big vaulting hitbox, which caused unfair injuries. For 1 month (8 month post release)

They could have easily switched him, fix the bugs and enabled him, but they didnt. Because of money.

  • @Aven_Fallen said:

I hope nerver. IMO Survivor Bots should also not exist. The thing is, currently Killer Bots seem to be cracked at the game, at least those in 2v8 are.

E.g. I have seen a Wesker DC in a previous iteration of 2v8 (there was a Bug with Wesker back then which made it unable for the player to actually play the game) and the Bot was not only free and not stuck anymore, but also extremely good and basically unbeatable. And other Killer Bots are the same.

Obviously they can dumb down the Bots, they did this with Survivor Bots. But I dont think that this would be good either, I would rather be in the next game when a Killer DCs and play against an actual human instead of having to play against a Bot which is so watered down that there is 0 challenge left (if we assume it will be the same level like the Survivor Bots).

FYI the bots on released were cracked.

But due to complains, got dumbed down to the point that the bot was useless and didnt help.

The problem with killer bots, is that they are not really incentivised to make killer bots dumb.

Well devils advocate we do need more killers and classes for variety sake and the only killer that really needs a buff Is Slinger the other changes are unnecessary.

We have less variety the more they add killers than they did by limiting killers to just 5 killers.

Its the same one problem we already have with 1v4, yet we ignore it because of denial, sake of arguement or because addressing it, would mean you would get less killers.

But who cares, killer queues can be 2 hours if that means every killer is in 2v8 and its extremely survivor sided, because thats the only way we would have time or resources to combat the long killer queues and lack of survivor variety.

Killer will ALWAYS have long queue times in 2v8, just because playing co-op with another Killer is something you can only do in 2v8. Like even in the current state of 2v8, Survivor is absurdly overpowered compared to Killer yet everyone still wants to play as Killer because it's unique.

Like the only way Killer queue times will ever not be stupidly long in 2v8 is if they do something crazy like giving out Iridescent Shards for playing Survivor, which they will never do.

Literally any other idea, but making survivor fun, by adding new, unique classes you cant do in 1v4.

Add more killers, add iri shards, make bp 800%, why is everyone ignoring the one and only answer that would make killer players, also play survivor?.

Its insane how people one way or another, intentionally or not, skip every other option, but THE one option, that doesnt make bhvr suffer with these ideas.

Is adding new classes such an impossible idea or does it have some major consequence that im overlooking, that im the only one that, is not seeing it?.

Adding one class that you could've replaced with escapist and find a flashlight from chests before torchbearer got added, does not help.

  • @AerinRockstarTTV said:

I’m just wondering now seems like the best time to implement them to customs, idk why it hasn’t been a thing, I know it shouldn’t be a big priority but it will help new players understand killers.

We have them, but only for 2v8.

Which for me makes even less sense to keep pressuring to add more killers for the mode.

It takes 10x more effort to add a killer into 2v8 and program killer bots with the new kit.

But yet they rather not add new survivor classes?.

  • "How do we make people play more survivor?"

"By adding more killers and buffing more killers"

    "Nerf escapist"

    "Nerf pallets and gens"

    "Give killers addons"

increased killer queue to an hour

I have a answer for on this. Its because everyone wants to play Killer. There's not alot of survivors playing Survivor because its no different than 1v4

brother, new Killers ARE the content lol. if you get a Hag or Trapper you are playing Minesweeper. if you get Springtrap you are playing FNAF etc. helping us helps you.

I'm so sick of seeing all these 2v8 killers. I seriously need springtrap and dnd vecna. being paired up against wraiths is killing my soul

    But it isnt.

I faced these killers before and having #56 variant of double team isnt really going to make anyone play survivor.

You arent playing killer just because we got a survivor only chapter with twd.

No survivors cares about new killers unless you actively play them.

  • @Bloodraven said:

12 months between 2v8 release to make room for different events as this one is staaaaaale.

    Add more killers.

    Bring legion back.

Escapist Class should be killer hit or vault activated.

Hard limit on survivor class picks, if killers can't have two shadows etc then survivor shouldn't have more than 2 of either class.

Tone down aura reads on both sides, takes the fun of the hunt and the thrill of discovery away.

    Add 2 more generators.

And a really controversial choice but remove cage teleports...that's hurt me more getting rescued and rescues than it has being camped.

"Why is killer queue an hour?"

  • @Skeleton23 said:

I know adding more Killers will take time because of balancing but I wwould want them to add everyone to 2v8 even if its just OG characters. The reason is that 2v8 gets bland after a while and having more options will be amazing. All survivors all Killers. It might take time but if they play there cards right and actually balance there game. Im sure it will be amazing to see.

What are the possible changes or things you want

    More survivor classes.

As a survivor main, i rather play killer 2v8.

Alot more interesting and i have alot of options to farm bp later on, via offerings or other events.

  • apperently they are in the works of trying to have survivor their perks shown in the loading lobby once loading into a game similar to dbd mobile*.

but honestly after last years treatment on soloq, being close to nothing but nerfs. im not optimistic about it.

the last "buff" we had was 15s bt, will i know will get removed eventually after 1-2 months.

which we will still be stuck with the new hud update that barely changed anything. sad.

  • i mean, yeah if you spam the mode with barely any new features it will get old quick.

though i dont think it will help much if they added all the killer roaster and gave survivors nothing to play with.

Negligence is not greed. Please explain the greed? Or does killers having long term bugs represent greed? Those darn Legion mains are very greedy, yeah?

if they killswitched ghoul, people wouldnt have been to incentivised to buy him and his cosmetics.

because he hasnt been killswitched, people happily got their money's worth, bought him and maybe his 15 dollar rize skin, which seems to have worked out with no consequence.

If i see anyone with a VAC ban on their account, im leaving the lobby.

if they have a vac ban, they will most likely just have another account and bypass it via family share or 3rd party sellers.

@ThatRyanB @Mandy did you increased the pallet density with the latest hotfix? There are more pallet on different maps that enables insane chaning. Here is a video to see what I mean.

alot of indoor maps actually got pallets decreased.

like midwich, the godpallet by the stairs is almost always missing.

so this is a bug that effects everyone, not just killers and outdoor maps
