Will this patch just be Jason chapter, or can we expect a bigger patch than just the new chapter, because I wish we got patch notes like we used to for these big patches(without the new chapter), Because I like to know what's coming, I'll be very upset if it's just Jason and nothing else will be change, like we did with Stranger Things.
Disappointed, I love the fact we're getting an original survivor with Jason, but I hate we got 0 balance changes for everything else, and we still have no news for the MMR changes.

if you're not gonna add an abandon option for killers when the gens pop, why not make it so that when a survivor enters the exit gate, the timer increases each survivor in their, so if someone is stupid and sits in the exit gate while their friends save the timer increases, and the same for if they heal at the exit gate and all 4 of them are there, honestly each survivor it increases by 2x. so if four survivors are there in increases by 8x.
I can agree with this idea, but maybe have a latency for 5 seconds each time.

If the killer were replaced by a bot, I am all for it. Without though, I don’t think it’s a good idea. If a survivor abandons the other 3 people still get to play the game. If a killer abandons the trial just ends, along with any kind of adept success, or chances at completing end game tomes/challenges like hatch, cleansing totems or being the last survivor out.
It always goes back to behaviour not adding killer bots.

Wouldn't comms automatically defeat any mimic killer?
Yes but who cares, the fun!

There's no killer bots, and there are challenges and other stuff that relate to doing stuff at endgame. A survivor abandoning can in no way stop a killer from getting any challenges/achievements as the bot remains, this would not be the case for a killer abandon that ends the game.
Absolutely nothing against the idea of such an abandon option but I find it very unlikely it'll be implemented without killer bots as a result. Don't think they want another case of "You nasically need your opponent's permission to do your thing" situation like with the Myers tombstone achievement.
That would mean add killer bots than add a abandon option to this scenario, which goes back to my other question, why not bring killer bots to the base game? than we can add the abandon option, however If they have 0 plans on bringing killer bots to the game, than add the abandon option, why let killers have to wait on the timer to go down for survivors to fully escape instead of making killers forcing them out.

That's what I want to, on top of that we do need more classes, and killers, which if their not going to change the bullshit mechanics which it already sounds like it's not happening, than focus on adding more killers, instead of adding no new killers, and adding barely ######### anything like this upcoming 2v8 will be.

"How do we make people play more survivor?"
"By adding more killers and buffing more killers"
"Nerf escapist"
"Nerf pallets and gens"
"Give killers addons"
increased killer queue to an hour
BTW if you give Survivors more skill than braindead bullshit, then yes more people will go to 2v8, right now it's just Braindead slop with 2 killers.

Almost every one of the killers has a movement-based ability. It takes them no time to go from one side to the other.
You put 8 survivors in that small RPD building and specifically start us on one side and the killers on the other.. it's almost an easy wash.
It's also super obvious that killers with higher collision have them tuned down for 2v8, making it harder for survivors because we only have narrow hallways.
Most maps aren't that bad, but I've not had a good experience on RPD unless it's a killer that sucks on RPD, such as the Huntress or Wraith.
give us the library

I hope nerver. IMO Survivor Bots should also not exist. The thing is, currently Killer Bots seem to be cracked at the game, at least those in 2v8 are.
E.g. I have seen a Wesker DC in a previous iteration of 2v8 (there was a Bug with Wesker back then which made it unable for the player to actually play the game) and the Bot was not only free and not stuck anymore, but also extremely good and basically unbeatable. And other Killer Bots are the same.
Obviously they can dumb down the Bots, they did this with Survivor Bots. But I dont think that this would be good either, I would rather be in the next game when a Killer DCs and play against an actual human instead of having to play against a Bot which is so watered down that there is 0 challenge left (if we assume it will be the same level like the Survivor Bots).
if we didn’t have survivor bots when someone dcs it would be instantly a 3v1, so you’re wrong.

we have a PTB coming in April so most likely than.

Abandons are messing up personal survivor stats. We don't need more options to make it worse until thats resolved (if ever). Advocate for in-game solutions instead of just more ways to leave. Instead of 90s slugged for abandon make it so you can bleedout faster and encourage the killer to either hook or loose the kill. Or a revisit of the basekit Unbreakable idea. For killers, have the end game collapse speed up if all remaining survivors are within the gates. Things that are one-sided and uninteractive should be solved within the gameplay. A game where everyone wants to just leave all the time because of other players actions has problems that need to be solved, not just glossed over.
A simple fix to that is anytime a survivor abandons the survivor dies, and anytime the killer abandons the survivors escapes, but I do think their should be dc killer bots which would fix that issue too.

I think that would be really bad idea. The only scenario where disconnect would be valid is when playing with cheaters. But i doubt that would be possible.
I can agree with the slugging part, but I still think the Abandoning with all gens popping should be a thing, survivors get it when all downed, last survivor alive, idk why killer can't abandon when all gens pop.

It helps practice tech and learn the maps/tiles/etc. It's very useful works almost as a sandbox for playing surv and trying things out.
I personally think this, and it'll be better for newer players trying to learn the game, like in other games before you get thrown in with real players who will pretty much try hard as much as possible to win, making the newer player unable to play a fair match.

Bots in tutorial are not very good. But I remember when I played mobile version there were killer bots and very good killer bots. So maybe once, but I don't really see much value of going against killer bots, for practice?
Tutorial bots are not meant to be very good, but to be honest other games have a bot system that is Easy Normal and Hard, which behaviour can very well do, and the easy mode would be the current tutorial bots, and the Medium can be the normal bots on live servers and 2v8, and Hardmode can be a new version of the bots that make them play more sweatier for those who think the other options are too easy.

They should add tutorial bots that are scripted to show you how to play chases and figure out where to control the chase killer or survivor. Scripted tutorials should not be hard to pull off.
This I'm surprised isn't in the game, if the developers don't have enough time to make a tutorial like this, than they should at least give it to the content creators to make a tutorial and the developers make a tutorial based on the content creators!
