Two survivors dead, as chain hunt timer ticked down everything was fine. Once chain hunt initiated = kicked to 'Disconnected from Host'
-
Karen - perks: 'I'm offended' (Basically anytime survivors get a generator done you can ask for their manager and stall them for 10 to 20 minutes)
and 'You can't do that!' (You point at the survivor and block them from any interaction like vaulting, working on a gen or healing)

My PSA details what I've learned. I don't know of any mechanic that can make you lose the crown.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1380803#Comment_1380803
Because the Demogorgon is a licensed character, and like it says in the OP, only licensed characters can get it.
Ah thank you
-
Just did this on Demo, said crown unlocked but I don't see any cosmetic for him.
-
Because in doing so would ignite riots across the world.. It's dangerous.

I'd assume it's to prevent you from going against that Player again. So if someone facecamps you with 5 gens left you can make it so you don't run into them again.
I hope so, toxic people ruin everything.

Two games in a row, all of my teammates had Urban Evasion, Self-Care, and Sprint Burst. They got one gen done in my multi-minute chases. Since I had such ling chases, I kept getting tunneled. When I died, they got screwed.
Sounds like you're solo queuing, that's worse than rubbing salt & lemon juice in your eyes.

this is why rank/pip-system needs to be reworked or removed, it confuses people and makes them think they did badly when they did not - at least according to their score.
-
andyollolloll will get bitten by a squirrel December 2020. The Squirrel will be the next announced killer in DbD. His name is Boo. He doesn't like predictions.
-
Killer gameplay is a bit more stressful and less rewarding than survivor. It's easier to feel a defined sense of objectives as a survivor, especially when you pip so easily.
As a killer you depip easily, especially if you kill the survivors too fast.
-
People that run OoO are usually toxic af, in SWF, and probably god-tier loopers. I already know the match will be unfun once I see that.
-
Congrats on rank 1 my dude. :)
though Legion is definitely the easiest killer to reach rank 1, those chase points are delicious.
Not so easy with plague or billy tho :(

There's more to this game than looping, you know. I find it rather sad that a game that's supposed to be about horror, boils down to running circles around junk.
THIS. Horror my [BAD WORD]. There's no horror in this game unless you let your girlfriend play it when she's never played it before.. And by the next day she'll realize what a joke the killers are and start 'clicky clicky' at exit.

Was a killer main, but I can't find any reason to continue playing the game. It's just not fun as a killer, and the "horror" aspect is misleading when survivors don't fear you, quite the opposite aside from the random "oh there's GF or Pig..".
-
Killer main here, I've stopped playing the game altogether because it's not a survivor horror game, it's a swf try-hard-fest with a jungle gym membership.
It's hard to get immersed in hunting people when they give no ***ks that you're there, get joy from your frustration, and sometimes actively harass you when they have so many second-chance perks. And if you do manage to get 3-4k you get to deal with toxicity after the match is over. No thanks.

It will all be better when nobody can see their rank. Lol
That's not fixing the issue, merely trying to hide it.

The new killer perks will be:
Toxic:
You can crouch, it does nothing until end game - but you can t-bag and increase gate opening by 1 second each crouch, Max stacks: 9,999 seconds.
"You are toxic to all, no one stands in your way - Not even the entity."
Clicky Clicky:
You can toggle your flashlight and blind survivors, works from all angles with indefinite use.
"I'll show those little mother f...."
Got'em!:
When a survivor attemps to stun you, you may press the action button to Dead Hard for Dummies, you also may counter Borrowed Time, Decisive Strike and have Adrenaline boost once all generators are powered. If no survivors have been killed you may use Unbreakable-breakable to kill two survivors at random.
"HA! Got'em!! Got'em!"
-
The Fallen
-
Don't forget BT, flashlights, DH, HO, crouching at hook while their friends are on it, and no diminishing returns on how long the killer is stunned or blinded.
Supposed to be a survival horror game. But it should be "Y U BULLY ME!?" genre
-
I just want a killer that can use a flashlight to blind survivors.
-
That would be cool.. though I think the pallet immunity would be too OP. Or as your name implies a Vampire in the game... or a Werewolf.
-
Bill. Obviously..
-
As soon as I start the match as a killer, herding the survivors so the last three gens are in close proximity to each other so they're forced to come to me. And walking backwards around corners to hide the red 'stain'.

Not only gens are done super fast, survivors have lots of crutches (borrowed time, decisive strike, adrenaline, unbreakable, dead hard, deliverance, insta endurance and heal medkits, keys, toolboxes and super safe maps) and killers don't. Usually one gen pops even after the killer finds the first survivor if they are unlucky with survivor spawns. Killers only have NOED and that doesn't guarantee win, pip or anything.
IDK how the devs think this is a good solution and killers are just toys for survivors. Survivor queues are insane right now.
I agree with this 100%, but the unfortunate truth is that there are more survivors who play this game than killers. It's 4 vs 1, so the game needs to be more fun and appealing to the greater number. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.
-
I care not.
-
I often walk backwards around corners to hide the red stain, survivors then run right into me. Works most of the time.. Mostly.
-
-Don't forget the bug for Demo to get stuck in random trees in swamp still.
-And don't forget if Oni is stunned after his power is used up he's stuck in an animation loop of putting away his weapons.
Also, #########..

Killer: NOED
Why: You have a useless perk until the END of the game, and hope you can catch one or two survivors off guard. Meh.
Survivor: Adrenaline
Same thing as NOED, useless until END of game then it's just a free heal if you even took damage in the first place.

The survivors were straight up broken. Changes/nerfs made to them were necessary, and even after the nerfs alot of what survivors use is still extremely strong. You can't compare necessary balance changes of broken mechanics to gutting a tool of killers because it annoyed new players.
And things like EGC wasn't for the sake of killers, it was so games could move on instead of both sides not wanting to lose so they just camp hatches and hold games hostage.
From the dawn of DBD's inception it has always been HEAVILY sided towards survivors balance wise, and anything given to killers, be it nerfs to survivors or buffs to killers, were changes that were needed and begged for with months of forum posts and youtube content discussing the terrible state of the game. And through this whole process dumb survivor mains as well as BHVR would always claim the game was perfectly balanced and so it took a ridiculous amount of effort to ever get it through their thick skulls that it wasn't just fine.
Opinion of the game back in 2016 was the exact same. Game was fine, killers were fine. No problems at all if you were to believe the devs or survivor mains. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q1fkX3H84SE& That look fine to you?
I just watched that video.. Wow, that's.. Wow.

Not as many people play killer at red ranks because that's where the really good survivors, especially SWF groups, can make the killer's experience miserable. So they tend to get paired with lower rank killers unfortunately.
Pretty much this.. I intentionally depip just so I can enjoy playing as killer.
-
Nurses and Spirit exist because survivors can get 3 gens up within 2 minutes even with a top tier ruin active. But other killers suffer as a result.
And killers that tunnel through the endless jungle gyms available to survivors are just bad or new.

Not to necro a thead.. but do devs even read this? Is there no response on fixing this or is it fine the way it is? I went from purple to green rank because the game went from fun to stressful, which is sad because I play this game daily and play almost entirely as a killer. But now I don't even want to play anymore.. =(
-
-
So did the devs ever talk about this? Or do they expect billys & plagues not to use their specials?

Certain killers lose out on chaser points due to how the game defines what a chase is. Typically you get chaser points 2 times while chasing a survivor. Youd get them for hitting to injure, then again for hitting to down. A killer who's power bypasses that loses out on chaser points. If I use Hillbillies saw to bring you from healthy to downed, I dont get the same chaser points as I would from using my mallet to hit you twice. Similarly, if a survivor steps in Trappers trap, and gets scooped up... thats again a lack of chaser points.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/859/QKYDT5M2MROE.jpg
This is an example of a game where I kept finding and downing ppl instantly, then hooking them up. This game consisted of 2 mallets and 3 saws, which gave me a 4k in about 2 minutes. Notice my complete lack of chaser...
This is amazing and sad at the same time :'(

Just curious, why is it so hard for Killers to rank up but so easy for Survivors?
