Let's make this simple: crows are your cameras. Within 16 meters of a crow? Aura revealed. Crows can't be scared away unless you complete a 5-second interaction to disable it for 20 seconds. Calm Spirit will now disable crows that you walk by. Hangman's Trick reduces timer to 5 seconds. Easy.

Here's an idea I've had for a while. It's actually a really simple change that wouldn't require much time or effort to implement. But basically, all you do is increase the amount of max tokens from 3 to 15, and the amount of tokens gained from 1 to 5. Each token is a 1% speed boost instead of the 5% it has now, and you only lose one when you hit somebody. This way, you still earn it the same way as before, and in the same basic amount, but it doesn't evaporate immediately, since you have a lot more tokens to burn through. Letting your obsession get away three times is a lot of effort for the tokens to just go away after three hits, so slowly burning through a good chunk seems fair enough in comparison.Very good idea. I hate just chewing up my tokens. If I'm going to use time to get these tokens, I should get at least that same time back using them to my advantage.

There are downsides, it consumes the med-kit upon use. It also reduces the charges by 25% and 50% for the styptic agent and the anti-hemorrhagic syringe, respectively. These aren't real downsides gameplay-wise and it has definitely nothing to do with the principle of risk/reward.

There are already strong killer add-ons and offerings, some of which do give you an insta-down.There aren't any offerings that give you insta-down. Only Clown and Huntress have insta-down add-ons. On top, the huge majority of strong killer add-ons are still balanced.
If you think that the current insta-heal is fine and balanced, what would you have against a similar add-on for killers (as described in version 2)?
I didn't say that there are offerings that give you an instadown, and I didn't say that there are many add-ons that give you an instadown. Maybe stop twisting my words if you want to have a discussion. All I said is that there are already strong add-ons and strong offerings for killers. When I mentioned offerings, I specifically was referring to the ebony mori, which cuts the number of objectives for killer in half with no gameplay-downside. How do you figure that? Do we need to slow the killers movement speed by 50% now because there are no gameplay-wise downsides? Also, not all offerings/add-ons need to have an exact opposite on the opposing team's side, it makes gameplay 2 dimensional and boring. Besides, instadowns are stronger for a killer than an instaheal for a survivor. And there are also a direct counter to ANY item add-on, which is Franklin's. You can't use an add-on if you don't have the item.
This is true. Dead by Daylight is classified as an asymmetrical horror game, asymmetrical meaning that the sides are vastly different from each other, and not completely opposite. If I'm willing to give up a medkit just for the purpose of an insta-heal, then I'm going to use it in a chase. Pretty much what it's made for, hence the depletion of the medkit on use. Now, I'm not going to tell how to play, but I'm telling how some people play, which is using Franklin's. It's not too far out there, and is used from time to time. But, there's also insta down add-ons, which if not used before for some reason, can still cancel out the effect, leaving the Survivor with no item, similar to Franklin's Demise. Killer's are either going to have an insta-down add-on, or a perk that permits insta-down. There's not going to be a one-use thing, because that's just a consumable that won't get much use. Besides add-ons can't be found during the game, and that's why we use them the whole trial. That's also why we have Black Wards, to protect the add-ons for another use, because they're not as flippantly used as items are if they're a of a decent rarity or if you're low on them. Though, at the end of the day, everyone has their own opinion, so I'm throwing mine out there as well. Don't judge me for it or anything. Thanks.

LMAOOOOOOOOO. Just rework F.J.S.J. already. Like, they're a band of teenagers, so they are just bound to be scumbags. Nonetheless, that's like bug reporting for bodyblocking or something. It's a technique. You may not like it, but that doesn't mean it's an exploit. Quit whining. You have Adrenaline and Decisive, along with flashlights. More than enough to win. Just sad y'all gotta cry because you can't stomp someone who knows what the hell they're doing.

I think we need to go right back to the basics and make killers actually have to work for their kills, not just expect a hook to be well within their range, I mean because they are! Most of them are easily within armsCurrently if you get to 99.9999% wiggle bar it affords you nothing. Make it so however far along the wiggle free meter has progressed, say you get hooked at 50% progress you then have a 50% chance to wiggle free from the hook. Same as if you got to 98% you now have a 98% chance to escape from the hook.
This wouldn't be a perk, this would be the default build that effects everyone. And then boil over is not so useless after all.
Yeah man the chase, the jungle gyms, the exhaustion effects, the immersed survivors with UE, the pallets, the loops, the blinds, the decisive strikes....none of that is the killer working for the kill, it's all about that time period when the survivor is on your shoulder!
Ikr. Like, Killers do enough against a person who knows how to loop and is using perks. So, if this was real, Deliverance would be useless, and you'd get more chances that you don't need to use to win. You'd get downed, wiggle to a large amount (which happens often), get hooked, kobe, get downed, DS, and then get downed, and get flashlight saved if someone's there. So realistically that's one hook and two second chances. Add looping, pallets, genrush, and a whole lot of perks, and you're basically trying to cause people to uninstall. Please reconsider.

So basically, if there isn't a hook right next to the Killer, it's almost a guaranteed kobe? No. Not at all. I play both Killer and Survivor equally, and that's just plain unfair. And it's built in? On top of DS? On top of flashlights? On top of bodyblocking? Please reconsider.

Basically, this build sees you carry survivors for as long as possible to make use of the benefits of the following perks:- Agitation
- Mad Grit
Your full perk set up will be
- Agitation
- Mad Grit
- Iron Grasp
- Enduring
The idea is to down someone asap and carry them around until they inevitably break free. Then you can just scoop them up again. I have no specific killer in mind to do this with, but I have several killers I advise you to not choose.
- Huntress
- Spirit
- Nurse
- Hag
- Legion
- Freddy Krueger
- Trapper
Most of the killers have a 110% move speed which will make them slower than their faster counterparts, this will, in turn, negate the bonus speed of Agitation.
I'd advise against Freddy mainly because you need to use Dream Demon before you can injure survivors, which is something you can't do with someone on your back.
I'd advise against Trapper just because you might step in your own traps while carrying someone.
Happy killing!
Don't advise against Trapper. As long as you're not blind and have common sense, you won't step in one of your babies.

Just here to help:
Killer
Phenoxyl's Gift: Change it to something with a little more distance. You charge up, and roll the moths out on the ground right in front of you. After a short delay, they fly up above the map, still in the area you rolled them out in. They then fly over the area for a duration. Survivors that linger in the area too long trigger the moths to dive on them, showing their location with an exclusive picture in the bubble that signals they're being attacked by the moths. I say change the power to the Survivors are just held in place for a certain amount of time. They're also released when you come with a certain distance of them while they're still being attacked. This power would have 3 charges base, and have a slight cooldown between uses, and have a cooldown that goes down as long as you're not at full traps. So, here's the new rundown:
Phenoxyl's Gift - A gift thought to be from God Himself, allowing the Nun to cast out moths to hunt Survivors.- Press the power button to start a 3 second roll out an eclipse of moths onto the ground.
- Once on the ground for 3 seconds, the moths will form a spiral and ascend up into the Fog above, circling the area for 25 seconds.
- If left alone, the moths will leave.
- If a Survivor enters the covered area (20 m), they will hear buzzing noises that gradually grow louder.
- If a Survivor stays in the covered area for 5 seconds, the moths will dive upon them, holding them in place.
- If a Loud Noise is made in the covered area, the moths will instantly dive the Survivor (not in chases).
- Survivors are held in place for 6 seconds by the moths, and have their vision impaired.
- The moths will automatically be removed if the Nun comes within 20 meters of the moth-covered Survivor.
- Phenoxyl's Gift has 3 charges, and a cooldown of 10 seconds with a short delay between uses.
- Overlapping areas do not stack.
Add-Ons:
Common
Slightly decreases moth rollout charge time (-0.5 sec)
Slightly increases the area that the moths cover (+4 m)
Slightly decreases the time it takes for the moths to dive a Survivor (-0.5 sec)
Slightly increases the time moths hold Survivors (+0.5 sec)
Slightly decreases the range the moths disengage due to the Nun (-2 m)
Slightly decreases the cooldown of Phenoxyl's Gift (-1 sec)
Moths cause Blindness for 30 seconds (Does not stack)
Moths cause Exhaustion for 30 seconds (Does not stack)
Uncommon
Moderately decreases moth rollout charge time (-1 sec)
Moderately increases the area that the moths cover (+ 8 m)
Moderately decreases the time it takes for the moths to dive a Survivor (-1 sec)
Moderately increases the time the moths hold a Survivor (+1 sec)
Moderately decreases the range the moths disengage due to the Nun (-4 m)
Moderately decreases the cooldown of Phenoxyl's Gift (-2.5 sec)
Gain 1 charge of Phenoxyl's Gift
Moths cause Blindness for 60 seconds (Does not stack)
Moths cause Exhaustion for 60 seconds (Does not stack)
Moths cause Hindered for 15 seconds (Does not stack)
Rare
Considerably decreases moth rollout charge time (-1.5 sec)
Considerably increases the area that the moths cover (+ 12 m)
Considerably decreases the time it takes for the moths to dive a Survivor (-1.5 sec)
Considerably increases the time the moths hold a Survivor (+1.5 sec)
Considerably decreases the range the moths disengage (-8 m)
Considerably decreases the cooldown of Phenoxyl's Gift (-3 sec)
Gain 2 charges of Phenoxyl's Gift
Moths cause Blindness for 90 seconds (Does not stack)
Moths cause Exhaustion for 90 seconds (Does not stack)
Moths cause Hindered for 30 seconds (Does not stack)
Very Rare
Moths don't disengage when the Nun approaches
Moths instantly dive Survivors who enter the covered area
Moths no longer dive Survivors, but reveal their aura as long as they're in the covered area (Areas don't expire)
When the moths are triggered, your Terror Radius drops to zero until all targets are released
Moth areas don't expire
Moth can dive Survivors who are being chased
Ultra Rare
Survivors are Exposed while being attacked by moths and for 30 seconds after
Survivors cannot escape the moths
Perks
Telekinesis
Phenoxyl has given you immense control over electrical objects.
Generators within 24 meters of you have a 20%/30%/40% repair speed penalty.Religiophobia
No matter what, some fools still won't believe.
Negative Status Effects last 10%/20%/30% longer on Survivors and affect them Considerably.Unholy Power
Your unholy power grows as the Survivors come closer to escaping.
Each time a Generator is completed, your Terror Radius is reduced by 3 meters, and all other Generators regress by 5%/10%/15%.But yeah, that's all. I'll need you to totally rework Rosemary's perks so I can give extra feedback, because I'll need a base idea to expand on. I hope the purple and iridescent add-ons aren't too strong or weird.

Hell yeah! Let's get this thread fired up again!
-
Great idea! By the way, you should post this on General Discussions, since it deals with both sides of the game.
-
Sorry to break the news, but this is just a bunch of existing perks reworked or nerfed into new ones:
All Tired Up - Literally sounds like a new power. So I've gotta deal with this brick bullsh*t on top of say the Nurse's Blinks? Or the Pig's Grand Scheme? Not so hot after all.
I'm Coming For You - Permanent auras that punish Survivors for doing their job? Really overpowered in the fact that you can track them until you feel it's right. This perk is the least of my complaints, but still, it should be changed.
Hay There! - Extra scratch marks?? Woohoo...? Oh, right. It's for a limited time.
What A Bargain! - Deja Vu is a straight upgrade to this thing. One generator for eight seconds, or three generators for 60 seconds that can also prevent a three-gen strat? Hm...seems obvious.
Bad Real-Estate - Doesn't work. Hatch can never exist/spawn at the start of the game. Now maybe the Hatch's location would be nice as a backup plan, but that's pretty much the only thing that would be applicable here.
Wise Investment - Mini Dead Hard token uses instead of one big Dead Hard? Hell, that may as well stay deep down in the Secret Survivor Desire chest.
Look guys, I hate being mean, but when you have to keep your fellow players in line, you gotta do what you have to do. Sorry if I hurt your feelings OP. -

Change to We’re Gonna Live Forever:You can get a maximum of 8/9/10 tokens. Each token gives you 10% more Bloodpoints post-trial.
Following actions give you one token:
• Completing a generator by yourself
• If someone else completes a generator
• Opening an exit gate
• Unhooking someone
• Healing someone for one health state
• Bodyblocking while the killer is carrying a survivor
• Rescuing a survivor from the killer’s grasp
• Stunning the killer
• Escaping the killer if a chase has been going on for at least 15 seconds without getting hit
Escaping the trial gives you 3 tokens of WGLF
In addition to more bloodpoints, you unhook survivors 30/40/50% faster
Reasons for this change: Survivors usually get a lot less additional bloodpoints post-trial than killers and “farm” people off of hooks because that’s the easiest way to get WGLF stacks right now. The suggested changes to this perk would discourage farming people. It would also reward doing other important mechanics of the game such as doing objectives, juking the killer, etc and not only saving teammates.
Making it easier to get tokens but increasing the maximum number of tokens would give survivors extra bloodpoints more consistently.
Nice idea, but have either just one or zero tokens for escaping. A gen-rush team could escape and that'd be eight tokens already. The unhook speed is a nice bonus to punish campers, and to make a swift getaway. Other than reducing tokens for escaping, I see no problem with this.

Just here to help:
Survivor:
1. Clemency - Good concepts, but they'd work better as individual perks. Change Clemency to stunning 1/1.5/2 seconds longer in a chase, and being within 12 meters of a dropped pallet blocks your aura for the Killer. Then, change the second perk to replace Ignored, as 10%/20%/30% of your recovery is converted to wiggle. They would both fit the title of "Ruthless Bully", which should be her role/label.
Killer
1. I'm not sure if the 100% movement speed is completely justified by Detention's speed boost, but maybe make the Killer move 110% like Spirit, and then still gain 10% movement speed, which is the same speed as 1 stack of Play With Your Food on 115% Killers or two stacks on 110% Killers.
2. Totally optional, but I think it'd be cool if Jane wore heels instead of flats. She would also walk elegantly, like in a strut. Similar to when you're in the classroom chattering, and it stops because you can hear the teacher's heels clacking down the hallway. That'd be nice to have in this game, and please change her Terror Radius to 24 meters.
3. For the Memento Mori animation, I ask that you be clear on how she stabs the Survivor. The rubbing of the face is very nice, but I'm not sure what kind of stabs you mean. Here's my idea: The teacher has her hands behind her back, walking slowly towards the Survivor, while purposely stomping to make her heels loud, all while the Survivor stars crawling backwards and away from her. Then she pulls the ruler from behind her back, steps on and digs her heels into the Survivor's feet, bends down, stabs them, and then commences the rubbing of the face. When she's done, she pulls the ruler out, and quickly pokes her head out into the air, as if she couldn't look at that disappointment, showing both sides as a teacher and a mentally ill person.
4. Avoidance - Remove the second part about instantly breaking pallets and stuff. It feels cramped and makes Spirit Fury useless. New perk idea would look like this: Dropped pallets within 60 meters have their auras revealed to you. During a chase, when a Survivor drops a pallet, the Entity blocks that pallet for 10/15/20 seconds. Survivors that vault pallets outside of a chase become Exposed for 20 seconds have their location (not aura, so it'd look like Rancor or Iron Maiden) revealed to you.
5. I'd rework Ferocity. Not sure if it's based off of Exposing the Survivor, or getting rewarded for kicking generators. I'll try and make one with the latter: Generators regress twice as fast when you damage them. Damaging a generator grants you a token. At 5/4/3 tokens, kicking a generator reveals the aura of the farthest Survivor from you, and grants you a 5%/6%/7% speed boost for 20 seconds.
6. Although many people have wanted a high school map, I don't think it will happen because you could make the small arguments of how Badham counts as a school, or that we're copying other games, but the larger argument comes into play when you look at the genre of Dead By Daylight. People are depicted to die in this game. Dying in a high school? Yes, I know this is a touchy topic, but with all the school shootings in America (May the Lord rest their souls), showing young adults being slaughtered in a typical hallway would cause an uproar. The only reason Badham doesn't receive any backlash is because the school isn't the main focus of the map. There's houses, a parking lot, recess yard, and two long streets around the area. If you made Lery's a high school in the sense that the high school is the only part of the map with nothing else there, it'd upset many people. Maybe there could be a building less reminiscent of a school. Maybe a private academy that looks more like a government establishment. Point is, having a high school would create an outrage. But, yeah. That's it. Add-ons checked out pretty well. Love your idea, and I believe the Teacher is long overdue in an epic comeback. Thanks for reading!

Nurse's PUNISHES Survivors for healing within the Killer's Terror Radius, and if your Terror Radius is cut off, it opens up a new playstyle. Brutal makes breaking pallets less of a pain, and it's not even by that much! Are you out of your mind? "Aura handicap"? What does DS reward you for doing? NOTHING. Hostility - 7/10 Good for chasesSymbiotic - 2/10 We've got Devour Hope Tier III w/ 2 tokens Change it to where you gain 3%/4%/5% movement speed for each Survivor on a hook.
Hex: Evolution 8/10 Good concept. Timer on it?
Fight or Flight 7/10 People can just randomly drop a pallet for Sprint Burst
On The Edge 1/10 Even worse than DS. When making perks, it's not about difficulty, it's about possibility. Hit this if the gates are open and boom, free escape, at the cost of a perk slot.
Hardened Spirit - 7/10 Great perk for noobs and pros alike. Getting caught out brings your team to altruism, but if you don't have coms, they might come and save you anyway, negating this perk's effects. Have it apply during the struggle phase too.
Thanks for the feedback!
Evolution I think would probably have a 6-10 second timer for the exposed status.
On the Edge was something I was unsure how to balance. I was thinking maybe it could only work only on the first stage and increases the chance to get off the hook by maybe 25/50/75%
Hardened Spirit is meant to last for the entire hook progression.
Fight or Flight I think would have to only apply during chase the same as Lithe does.
Symbiotic I could certainly see work with changes you mentioned.Evolution shouldn't be a Hex, actually. Instead, have it apply to a range, so maybe if a generator is completed 40 meters away, then Survivors that were working on the gen when it completed are Exposed for 5/10/15 seconds.
On The Edge, with your changes, would be much better, as people would only run the perk to Kobe, and that's only a chance at escaping if you don't get hooked the entire game. Much better.
Hardened Spirit should have an icon, maybe a little buff muscle/arm to show other Survivors that you can hang on the hook longer, and to use the time provided by the perk wisely.
Fight or Flight is interesting, but not overpowered. Only thing is that the speed boost could be stacked with being hit by a weapon or Hunting Hatchet. Not too scary, though.
Symbiotic would be good for Killers like Clown and Trapper, as they lack major mobility. -

Just turn Hex perks into normal perks. Problem solved.
No way that would be way too OP. Especially devour hope
Increase the amount of required hook rescues to 3/5/7 and it´s not more OP.
Devour Hope would guarantee that the killer leaves the hook.
Do you consider any other Hex perks OP? Maybe the third seal?
I don’t consider any hex perks OP really besides NOED, but not being able to break a devour hope as is right now would be terrible. I really don’t care whether they leave the hook or not to be honest, only because then all the generators would get repaired if they decide not to
It's pretty much a guarantee that they leave the hook. If they don't, what's the point of even having the damn perk. Third Seal is just a disturbance, and easily countered by SWF, and even for the Solo Survivor, as long as you know where the gens are, and look in the general direction of a hook, it won't be a problem. NOED is strong, but it's late game, so you'll need to bait people into going for the save, and once they realize that you've got NOED, they'll probably just leave. Devour Hope is strong, but takes a lot of build up, but once you get to 3 tokens, you can end the game right there. Huntress Lullaby shouldn't be a Hex, and is underpowered because it is one. Ruin is pretty much a staple, but gets destroyed way too early. Thrill is good if you're farming, just need extra Bloodpoints, or really wanna protect your totems without camping too hard, and sometimes I think if you reduce the amount of Bloodpoints you gain, you don't need it to be a Hex.

Signing off for today. Thanks for all the love and support. I'm gonna go bowling, eat BBQ, and probably buy a new XBox One game. And, for the love of God, don't make this post toxic. At all. Thanks everyone. Bye Bye!

Title. It's very broken in the sense that it doesn't work at all.Luck percentages should be slightly buffed, so it helps with chest searches, not just an extra 5%. I understand there are dedicated builds for collecting items, but it shouldn't take all of that for having a chance at a green flashlight with nothing on it.

That's why I think the shimmer should be visibile, but up to a certain distance (like 12-20 meters). This way you solve the problem without penalyzing too much stealthy survivors, and leave the need to hide the shimmer when closing on a survivor, which good Wraiths already do.I like this idea better personally. Only being able to see his shimmer within a certain distance of him, and not across the map.
However like most buffs done to the Wraith, this would only be a quality of life thing and wouldn't actually change a whole lot. He needs a few more drastic changes like increased cloaked movement speed, a faster decloaking time, or a built in Windstorm - stuff like that.
Reduce or remove the movement speed penalty from uncloaking. It causes him to lose Survivors too much, especially the ones running Sprint Burst.
