That's fair, maybe fix a few and introduce a few more?
That’d be nice. It’s just currently it’s hardly worth using anything besides add-ons revolving around her Ambush.
Speaking of that, a Rare add-on that made Ambush silent would be nice.
-
I quite like the Red Stain add-on simply because it lights up the survivor like a Christmas tree

Pig is fine to me, the trapper could use a bit of help but not a huge buff or change
Her add-ons need to be more useful. Currently it’s just a pool of trash.
-
Some Killers do. I think Pig and Trapper need help.

Where are you playing? I and a friend play on the PS4 and noticed something similar. He pushed the Button and the Charakter dosen't throw the Pallet
PS4. Exact same issue here, the ability to throw pallets is unresponsive.

Survivor, currently is completely and utterly miserable. They've nerfed them so much because of how strong SWF was. Solo Survivor is not even worth it. The Killers have gotten so powerful all the while, the power gap has been completely reversed from what it was a few years ago.

My recommendation to your condition.
I get it's easy for a Killer-dominated forum to defend OP Killers. I understand the mentality, I play both sides a lot.
-
Lmao, I have found Killer to be significantly easier to play. Always have.

@Wolf74 said:
It's simple mathematics.
The killer can only chase ONE survivor and keep him off the objectives.
Decent survivor ...like really, just decent, not top player, just average survivor that understood the game... can finish 3 gens when the killer gets his first hook.
From there it only goes down for the killer, because if he camps, he loses the other 2 gens and most likely the gates.
If he does not camp and instead chases, he gives free unhook and heal and restarts the scenario. The survivors lost a little time for the rescue and heal, but hey, they only have 2 more gens to go.
Do you see the problem now @Goldengeartwo ?
I play both sides a lot. I don't need a lecture on how the game works.

Legacy Meg is love though. To be fair, the first survivor I ever P3'd was Meg, but we kinda grew apart.
For SHAME.

It works quite well with Spine Chill. Say you're working on a gen, you get heads up The Killer is coming via Spine Chill, you start running. By the time The Killer gets there, you'll be out and all they'll see are faded scratch marks if any at all, and they'll have no clue where you are.
I've had many Killers search the area thinking I couldn't have run due to a lack of scratch marks. Wastes their time, and time is the most valuable resource for The Killer.
-
Weirdly enough I seem to have more luck with Freddy, the only Killer I use and end-game build on. I suppose since End-Game comes so fast, it's not a bad idea to use such a build with how quick the gens get completed now.BlackReaper said:@Goldengeartwo said:
Survivors are completely busted. Gens can be popped so fast, Hex: Ruin or no, that The Killer barely has time to get more than a couple hooks. No matter what map presence or perks you have to counteract it, Survivors had the swift abilitiy to completely thwart it.In fact, unless you're a Nurse, the most you'll end up hoping for against an optimal team is a black pup.
you damn right, thats why i use a late game build perks, so the gen rush isnt that bad.
-
Nope, there's literally nothing you can do against a skilled Legion.
-
Survivors and Killers do not have passive effects. Their only distinction is the teachables they offer and the power in the Killer's case.TwistedRusty said:Not sure. I just hate how Meg isn't quicker than the other survivors when it clearly states she is suppose to be athletic. She should be quicker than the survivors and a tad bit as quick as the killer.

Claudette.
She has such a punchable face. -
It's alright.
-
Wat
-
But my Tombstone Myers
-
What changes are they actually doing?
-
Yeah. Just one hook down there would be good.
Also, is it just me or is the hook spawns on The Game completely screwed right now? It feels like there are barely any hooks on the lower level. -
Meg is cute
-
You could make the argument that Legion is better Pig already, tbh.Unnamed_Freak said:Wouldn't that be Legion? Might as well just play them.
-
Yeah. A little more range would be nice.
Add-Ons to decrease the charge time of his Shock Therapy, or reduction of time to swap modes would be nice.
-
Hag requires knowledge of maps and knowing where Survivors are going to run to. As someone who played only Survivor, you should be adept at this key knowledge to being a good Hag.
-
Breaking actions also seem significantly louder.
-
The frame rate is even worse on PS4 after the patch, I'm pretty sure.
We desperately need this optimisation patch. -
I was surprised by how short the ability lasts, that's for sure. You're given the ability to see other targets and encouraged to branch your ability usage across multiple Survivors, but you don't have enough Frenzy to reach anyone, really.
-
Honestly, her terror radius should be 24m.
-
Yeah. I genuinely believe even Freddy is better than this lol
Frenzy doesn't last long enough. And it's stupid that hitting someone while not using Frenzy will reset the power gauge. -
Hex: Ruin is pretty standard.
Many perks do indeed not work that well with Legion. With the exception of Monitor and Abuse and Remember Me. Thanataphobia would be great if the perk was better.
Honestly, you could perhaps use a Hex-majority build. Ruin, Haunting Ground, Devour Hope. With Monitor and Abuse. -

I don't think Leatherface is as bad as many say he is.
Ans despite my best efforts to remain hidden on approach, Survivors always start running before I reach them as The Pig. -
But my end-game Freddy

and my freddy without perks and addons has killed swf with intsaheals and 4 deceive strikes. sure.. sure...

He's a god tier Killer. S Tier. And the big difference between him and Nurse is that he's relatively easy to use.
-
Not in my experience. He's easy peasy.HatCreature said:Oh I'm on console too, I was wondering why you didn't mention Nurse but it makes sense now. Yeah on console Billy is king and for that reason, I don't think he should be nerfed because while PC has two great or overpowered killers the console has only Billy. Though on console I usually just run into Myers, Wraith, Freddy, and Huntress. As for playing as Billy, damn it's difficult, I can't see how anyone can get those chainsaw hits up close, they just keep juking at the last second.
-
I AM a Killer main. And while it's been a while since I played Billy, I'm very confident I could learn fairly quickly how to play him at an optimal level. If I can do it with weaker, harder Killers like Fredd, Doctor and Pig then I can sure do it with him.Onionthing said:I think as a requirement, a survivor main asking for a particular killer to be nerfed, should post a video of them 4k-ing a group of survivors with that said killer, no gate, no hatch and 5 gens still active. THEN and only then will I pay attention. All i know is as a killer main, i still suck a billy and he is supposed to be EZ. (Spirit main, go figure...)

Honestly, what do you do against this Killer?- Fastest movement speed
- Base 115%
- 1 Hit Downs
- Small recovery on whiffed chainsaw attacks
- Instant breaking of pallets
- Easy to play
Every other Killer at Rank 1 I can tolerate. But nothing is more oppressive than a Hilbilly with Hex Ruin and BBQ. Honestly, I nearly just give up once I hear his chainsaw at the start of a game.
And here I am using Pig and Freddy and Doctor. What's the point when there's Billy?
You can tolerate nurse, but cry about billy?
Must be some playstation beginner survivor, sorry for saying that^^
-
He's not the only one that can give me trouble. He's the only one that is unbelievably oppressive.azazer said:Hillbilly is probably the most balanced killer in the game. He takes a combination of timing and skill while having to navigate the maps obstacles. If you're complaint is that billys in rank one are too good for you, it's a failing on your team's end. The fact he's the only one that gives you trouble in top tier gameplay attests to all the other killers being under powered. -
No, I "literally" said I can tolerate any other Killer. Which doesn't mean I have them off constantly. Hilbilly being oppressively powerful compared to the rest is what it says.HatCreature said:You literally say that you can handle every killer at Rank1 but Hillbilly so that means that Hillbilly is the ONLY one that give you trouble at RANK 1, that means he's the only one who can STILL BE VIABLE at Rank 1. I saw you play as other killers at Rank 1 so you must know that Gen Rushing is a problem for everyone but Hillbilly and Nurse.

I'm a Killer main.KingSavageGaming said:Nothing but 2 whining survivor mains who aren't good in a chase this does nothing but prove my point anytime a survivor has to get better at something or anything that takes a bit of skill they whine to the devs to nerf it so it's easier how do you expect to get better if you want everything about killer to be weak -
Ruin is mandatory unless you want 3 gens popping after 1 chase.

If you play her right, you can control the map with her basically. My trick is to slow the game and control it to my benefit.Congratulations, you are using the traps to buy yourself time to kill survivors with a vanilla killer that has no power. The crouch+charge is so bad it does essentially nothing unless you run addons to improve them in which case your traps become worse.
Wait...you can't down a survivor without using your power? Then you're probably bad, and you are exactly what's wrong with DbD Killers: You should not NEED a power or perks at all to 4k. The power and perks should help you, not carry you. And yes i can and have backed it up with a recorded and livestreamed series of rank 1 games as a perkless no-traps trapper getting 4k after 4k. Did it as a Tier 1 EW Michael, too.
-
Clearly? Crouch to generators, Ambush mind-game around pallets (as weak as it is), use traps to slow the game down. It's as simple as that. She's not a complicated Killer.BigBlackMori said:@Goldengeartwo said:
I know how to play The Pig, friend.
Clearly, you don't.
I've not deranked from Rank 1 with her yet, friend. After 3 resets, I doubt I will anytime soon. But oh boy, do I feel a heck of a lot stronger playing Doctor, Myers or Hag. -
Simply compare their tools:
To engage with Survivors, Ambush is slow, has a loud sound cue, is punishing on whiff. Frenzy is fast, unloopable, no whiff punishment. The fast speed of Frenzy means Legion does not need zero terror radius to get a good starting engagement, whereas Pig must use her slow crouch to get said starting engagement, with poor vision to compliment.
To stall the game, Traps require a down, are RNG based and are finite. Deep Wound only requires a single hit to come into effect and is infinite. -
The way it looks to me, Legion looks like a better Pig. Simply when you look at the things they do.
They are both ambush-based Killers with tools to slow down the game due to their slower pace playstyle. However, Pig needs to commit to using a slow, poor vision stealth so she can get the opportunity to use an ambush attack which has a slow startup AND a sound cue. Her method of slowing the game down requires downing a Survivor to place the trap on, and then being at the mercy of RNG. To make it worse, she has limited traps.
Legion retains his full speed and vision when looking for Survivors. He may not have zero terror radius, but he has a reduced one, and all he needs to do is see a Survivor before he can start using Frenzy. Whereas Ambush has slow start-up and isn't useful outside a relatively weak pallet mind-game, Frenzy looks like it's a nightmare to escape from. Even if it takes a few more hits to down a Survivor, the down looks damn near guaranteed with just enough commitment. A single hit is all it takes to put a Survivor into a healing job for a good while, healing the status effect and then healing into Healthy status.
Tldr-
Ambush is slow and loud, Crouch is slow and hinders ability to see. Frenzy is fast, unloopable.
Traps require a down, are RNG based and are finite. Deep Wound is infinite and only requires a single hit for great stalling potential.
