Good strategy for who, someone who just wants to hold W away from chase? And what about your teammates that don't know you ripped through all the resources and they can now be herded into a surprise dead zone? The maps have pallets, yeah, but many are garbage edgemap pallets that will buy you seconds before going down, or useless things between a small rock and tree.
But yeah, please do this in all my killer matches. Predrop a pallet I can just walk around and return to break at my leisure.
A good survivor can waste a killer's time even in a "bad" pallet. You just need to be patient, which is a very difficult thing for survivors to have in this game.

Well you answered one of two questions, so why do you think they have them?
I'll fully respond to this part once I got the second part.
They exist to help survivors to counter killer strategies and I never said they need to nerf second chance perks, some of them like DS I think it's fair. What I complain is most of them punish killers in an unfair way. The problem with DS for example, is that it can be used aggressively to punish killers that is not even trying to tunnel. Also some perks like Deliverance and Resurgence who heavily punishes the killer for spreading hooks need to be looked at. Why should I hook a survivor that have all those perks and can still punish me unfairly?

Then maybe stop punishing Survivors for doing gens, and maybe we might have a deal.
Punishing survivors for doing gens? haha. You must be kidding. Survivors can literally do a gen alone in 50 seg with a green toolbox with addons. What are you talking about?

So I'm curious about something.
Why do YOU think that survivors have "second chance" perks and why do you think survivors run them?
And I ask you, why would they not use them? If they have very strong perks to punish the killer all the time for things that they don't even have control over, why shouldn't survivors abuse them?

I mean, if that happens, they'll be out of resources very quickly and have massive dead zones. Using Windows to braindead run from pallet to pallet and drop them without any looping is very bad playing. Killers get stronger as the game goes on and the resources dwindle.
I will tell you, this is not a bad strategy. Actually, this is one of the best strategy survivors can do. The map has way more pallets than necessary to loop the killer and still have time to finish all the gens. I say it by my own experience.
-
Why should the game have an option to turn it off? If you don't want to play while you wait, just don't click the button...
-
Slugging is the best strategy in the game right now. Killers will continue to slug until the devs stop punishing killers for hooking and spreading hooks giving survivors free second chances perks.

shoulderflick is an exploitable bug that should be fixed asap.
Shoulder flick is not a bug, it's how his hitbox works. By the way, the own BHV team already posted a shorts with Lilith explaining how to do it. And without it would be very easy to juke his hits.
-
To be honest, I saw his video and I didn't notice any difference with shoulder flicks. It still works the same way as always.

Yeah, and when Survivors try to do that, they usually die. And this in a survivor-sided Endgame, eh? Believe me, I am the first one who says that Survivors dont always have to escape with 4 people and can and should accept when someone is on the Hook and being camped that one person will die. And yet I see it all the time that Survivors throw themselves away in Endgame, even if it is not as free as you claim it is.
Just be real - before opening this Thread you struggled in a game, did not manage to kill anyone while 5 Gens were being repaired and then you think you deserve your pity kill in Endgame. Just the usual.
If you do things right, it’s basically a guaranteed escape 80% of the time. Honestly, I can see you’re blinded by a survivor-main bias; you’re always complaining on other people’s posts about unfair situations for the killer side, denying everything and using survivor arguments that make no sense. You have no idea how the game really works. But I can't blame you—not even the devs themselves know how the game works.

@HoodedWildKard said:
If as killer you can't turn an unhook attempt into a trade during endgame then something is wrong. They already remove the facecamping prevention to allow killers to secure an endgame kill. There's absolutely no reason to remove the post unhook endurance as well.
I get that losing the only kill of a game to a coordinated swf bully squad in endgame is frustrating. I've been on the receiving end of it myself. But even with full squads it's still a risky play and can easily backfire. For every killer game where I've had a 0k in an endgame standoff, there are 3 or 4 games where I've secured 2 or more kills off of botched attempts to unhook someone during endgame.
And on the bright side if this is a regular occurrence for you then it will be dropping your mmr to face surv teams you can cope with better.
There’s no risk play, bro. It’s literally a guaranteed escape. If they do it right, one survivor fakes the unhook and forces you to hit them; then they cancel, and another survivor gets the unhook—there’s nothing you can do.
As I said, even if you try to switch targets, they can use their BT (Borrowed Time) to body-block you, and you can’t hit the unhooker. The only way you can still get a kill is if you hook the survivor very far from the gates, which is almost impossible because the majority of maps have one gate on each side. Unless you’re playing a killer with high mobility like Blight, Kaneki, etc., it’s basically impossible to get another down before the survivors escape.

@Aven_Fallen said:
When you lost games because 15 seconds in Endgame you were already losing at this point. But I guess Killers still want their pity Kill in Endgame.
I could say the same thing when survivors want to win at all costs and get three or four escapes. You know the 15-second endurance at the endgame is unfair and, in most situations, uncounterable; you just don't care because it gives you a free escape.
-
-
You must be kidding, literally most of the maps have millions of pallets, even those ones that didn't have so many before. If you want all the maps to be like The Game just say you are not good at the game.

the perk is fine as it is, in some cases even busted if used on pop pain res dms blight players, it def should not get a buff.
So you are saying the perk is busted because of one killer? That makes no sense. It's the same thing I say Dissolution is broken because it is strong on Krasue.

u could still play 1v4 even if 2v8 was normalized, whats ur point?
5-8 minutes queue time and then survivors give up or you get a group of survivors doing win streaks? No thank you.
-
I hope that it never becomes permanent.
-
I think tool boxes are very overpowered, the devs really need to look at them. You can do a gen alone in almost half the time.

both sides are balanced in comp, also selective maps are used which are good for both in most cases, people do perkless streaks on killers, do they do it on survs tho? ive seen so many streamers and people doing streaks on perkless addonless killers and get plenty of wins, most players are not comp players either, comp players are 0.0001% of the player base, A-S tier killers are stronger than 4men teams, even in comp, its all about skills and map RNG etc, if the killer of A-S is good enough he should win most games vs 4SWF. also stats proves im right since even 4men are behind killers.
Onepumpwillie won 300 matches with Trapper in a win streak, if you can do a 300 win streak with trapper then this shows how bad survivors in pubs are. You cannot consider pub matches to say how strong a killer is. And no, not both sides are balanced in comp, the comp is balanced for the killer to have more advantage, that's why they don't use any of broken survivor's map and the map is almost always picked in favor of the killer.

A tier killers do really well vs SWF, even B tiers are fine, its all about the player who plays those killers/survivors. S tiers are just autopilot easy mode(require bit of knowledge of the killer and its power tho). even stats shown that in average 4men are losing to killers so whats ur point? u can only claim SWF sided game before 6.1 update, not anymore tho.
SWF is still such powerful that in comp they need to nerf them very hard to be balanced. if you play on swf and still lose, it's skill issue from the players.
-
Yes, I think he's fine. If you increase his speed throwing the knifes while keeping the 6 knifes to get a hit, it would be kinda broken.
-
What about nerfing SWF? If you nerf S tiers without nerfing SWF, what killers can do against them?
-
I think people didn't like her because she was a very passive killer; her power did everything for her at the press of a single button. But after a lot of complaining from the survivor community, they nerfed her to the ground, and now she is one of the worst killers in the game. They gave her some buffs recently, but she's still very mediocre, and they won't rework her anymore because they don't want to waste so many resources on a killer that almost no one plays.

Cant wait for them to upload a guide against ghoul since they bug fixed the only consistently counterplay against him.
I can do it for you. When you see that he is going to raise his tentacles to vault the pallet, which is almost every time, you have two options depending on the loop. If the loop is kinda short, you can just loop around again and he won't catch up to you. If the loop is big and you will not have time to go around, you can just wait and see by his tentacles animation when he cancel it, which is very clear. He cannot hit instantly after canceling so you have time to drop the pallet, always works for me.

Blame 2v8, unfortunately people like this mode.
-
The next thing I want in 2v8 is its removal and never come back again, because it has destroyed the 1v4 queue times and is very survivor sided. I don't play the game during 2v8.
-
@JohnNemesisMan said:
My only problem with 2v8 for the killer perspective is that Escapist is still overbuffed. There are A LOT of problems for killers in 2v8, but the only thing I want to see it properly balanced is Escapist and they can't even do that. Instead they nerf the killer classes and add maps like Lery's that nobody wants.
Escapist just ruins all killers from weak to strong. There's not a single killer who doesn't get completely screwed from being able to just deny the hit. All the effort that takes to catch a survivor offguard, or zoning them into a corner, completely denied with the press of a button, and its very often you'll see half the team running this class. Its even worse now that they just completely removed the display of survivor classes in the lobby screen, so you can't even make a mental note on who has Escapist or not when starting the chase.Yeah, I agree with everything you said. This class is very overpowered, just being able to deny a hit every 20s is very strong.

I wish I could understand where the idea that 2V8 is "Survivor-sided" is coming from. To me, it's the most balanced of all the modes. Which means it's Killer-sided but actually achieving the 40/60 split that BHVR are aiming for. If anything, each iteration becomes more Killer-sided as stronger Killers continue to be added. I've Survived only 3 of my 11 Survivor games so far (In one of those Trials I decided to leave an open hatch to go rescue the last caged Survivor instead of leaving like I probably should have but still, it's clearly not Survivor-sided in my experience).
Chucky and Billy are fun I suppose but they just don't hit the same way that Legion does for me. So I think I'll probably not bother all that much with Killer until my stabby boys and girls are brought back into the mode in a way that makes them (hopefully) fun for everyone.
On a side note, I find it funny that many people argued Legion were bad for 2V8 partly because they gave Oni his power for the entire Trial. But I've yet to play a Trial when that wasn't the case, anyway. The Huntress and Wraith they were matched with fed the Oni blood orbs as effectively as any Legion could.
What makes 2v8 a little "balanced" is because it don't have MMR, so you can sometimes down some survivors in 20s or less even with all the crutches and 500 mega safe pallets. But, when you go against survivors that knows how to do the basics, it's basically impossible to win as killer in this mode. This mode is clearly designed to ensure the killers don't have a chance to win.
-
-
I don't think losing 3 gens in one chase because the gens takes only 70s to complete and the map having 500 pallets is fun. But, if you think it is... OK.
-
I looped him without problems every time I played against him.
-
Nah, Power struggle is actually a very disgusting perk when combined with Flip Flop, it basically makes impossible for the killer to pick up a survivor if there is another survivor nearby distracting you. I'm very glad almost no one uses it. This thing of swinging doesn't always work if you spam the drop button.
-
I don't think that increasing the cooldown is a good idea. Increasing a killer's cooldown and making him being more punished for missing, they will start to use their power only in safe situations instead of doing random tries like Pyramid Head and Deathslinger players do, which is very boring.

To be honest, I don't really have a nice idea. Maybe the infection could enter in the cleansing state instead of removing it completely?

If survivors should learn to loop, then killers could just be told to learn how to pressure gens instead of relying on tunneling. They wouldn't enjoy hearing that, yet it's just as fair.
Tunneling is one the most effective ways to pressure gens, so your point doesn't make sense.

They canceled the Anti Slugging and Anti tunnel, only the Anti camping will remain, and they reverted it back to 16m.

Im not talking about an attack cooldown, im talking about how she can stay in head form with no repercussions while Chucky had an 18 second cooldown to go into hidey ho.
That 3.2 second cooldown is also minimal when taking into consideration literally every other aspect of the attack and she can make up the distance lost with head long flight AND the being 4.8m/s in head form.
I don't know if your comparison makes sense, Chucky had a 18s but he had stealthy and a very long dash along with scamper.
-
No, it was unfair against 110% killers.

@Shroompy said:

yeah, but she can also do it without a cooldown and an attack that is VERY forgiving which also doesnt have a cooldown
If it have a cooldown, would be horrible, as the vaulting time is already pretty high. And her dash attack don't have a small cooldown, it's 3.2s, which is the highest cooldown in the game along with Victor.
-
To be honest, I don't think the Krause "scamper" is unfair. Her vault time is 1.7s after the ptb, they nerfed it. Chucky's scamper was only 1.3s
