The new FNAF killer is WAY too OP. Loads of killer benefits (to name a few):
Unnoticeable for a whole TWENTY SECONDS when entering the security camera doors
No cooldown to throw axe once resummoned
Axe hitbox too big
Regularly able to grab survivors midway through window or pallet vaults
Apparently as fast as Huntress but seems faster?
Survivors using the security cameras can't be considered a benefit since the risk of getting caught and instantly picked up is so high! Really not finding this killer fun at all.1 - Yes, he has undetectable for a long time, but he makes a lot of noise while walking, more noise than the Nemesis, so it's quite easy to hear him coming.
2 - That's not true, his cooldown after throwing the axe is higher than Huntress's, actually.
3 - Huntress's hatchet hitbox is also much bigger.

I play plenty of killer. Going for the unhooker has always been more consistent. If they have BT? You lose time. If they have OTR? You lose time? If they have Babysitter? You lose time. If they have DS? You lose time and then make a forum post about second chance perks
It depends on several factors, the killer you are, the area you hooked the survivor in, and the advantageous or not advantageous situation you are currently in the match. However, most of the time tunneling is the best choice, especially if you are in the early game. The game is unfortunately like this, tunneling is the most effective strategy to win a match.

You never HAVE to tunnel. Just go for the unhooker since they don't have a speedboost lol
To say that, you clearly don't play killer. There are situations where you must tunnel if you want to win the match, because playing as a killer is a race against time, because generators are fast and you need to get downs as quickly as possible. But sometimes this is not possible depending on the map you are on and especially the killer, so tunneling is often necessary.

Why did you make map offerings completely useless?!
20% is nothing and at this point just remove the useless junk from the bloodweb!
Make them 50% or at least 33% and give us the offering back if it doesn‘t work.
I tested it and tried it 10 times to get the map once. This is so stupid!
How happy! I hope it stays that way. Map offerings shouldn't even exist.
-
You won't accumulate afk points if you're near the killer, so your criticism doesn't make sense

just don’t go after the unhooked survivor
It's the same logic as "don't want to be slugged? then don't sabotage my hook or make flashlight saves".Tunnel is part of the game, if you don't like it, don't play it. But now putting a broken perk that the killer has no chance of catching the survivor because he had to tunnel is not right.
-
Hello, could you tell me if the team fixed the issue of killers' object spawns being affected by chests?I didn't see any of this in the patch note.
-
The only nerf I thought was right was the Babysitter one, because it was really stupid for the survivor to run faster than the killer for a whole 30 seconds.
-
I think BT is already good, especially considering it becomes broken when combined with Babysitter which is a perk that is very strong currently and deserves a small nerf in my opinion.

Wait, rly !?!?!?!
Where I can find info about itStreamers that have partnership with BHV got early access to the DLC, I saw the nerf from them.
-
I agree with you, many people say no, but Reshade brings countless advantages, it's not just something visual.
-
I don't think it's terrible, but it's a very inconsistent addon. Most of the times I've used it, it hasn't worked, because survivors usually don't drop the pallet in front of you because you were going to take the hit anyway...
-
@imabakedpot8o said:
You can't ask them to nerf something that requires skill to pull off, if you're getting continuously looped at shack because shift tech, learn to take different pathing choices and/or leave chase to find someone who is worse in chase. This whole "I cant catch them so nerf them" shii is so annoying. You're not always deserving of the down. You got outplayed by someone who is better. Simple.
No loop should be so broken that the killer has to leave a chase because the survivor is in it. So it needs nerfs.

Title. I am legitimately curious as to whether the developers have played the game since… maybe launch. The game is almost unplayable with the amount of bugs; insta loss and anachronistic maps that haven't kept up with the shifting meta of the game; horrendous issues with tunneling and slugging which refuse to be addressed 9 years in, and instead they choose to focus on punishing people for going next - which happens in maybe 1 in 30 matches; completely unusable palettes and tiles literally designed to ensure that you take a down; bugs that mean the match effectively ends for the killer when they can't put a survivor down; constant issues with desync and the servers; vaulting lockers that are 5 miles away from windows. I could continue listing issues for the next 3 hours, most of which are issues that have been in the game for years.
It's regrettable that every single other game bEHAVIOUR releases fails to have any commercial impact, but maybe invest in the actual health of the only game that is keeping your 'studio' afloat instead of banking on gimmicks. I would expect it from a studio with 20 rookie employees, but they have over 1000 employees currently employed. How does a game based on killing players have animations for moris that still look like they were animated in the 90s? How is there STILL no running animation for characters in heels, so they are relegated to wearing the ugliest shoes known to man? It is unacceptable to have a game in this state so far removed from launch. Focusing on securing the next 'big' license (and I use that term loosely) to draw in unsuspecting players only to have them leave after a week because of the state of the game on all fronts is not a viable business plan.
The problem with the go next has become much more common nowadays, out of 10 matches, at least 5 or 6 have people quitting. About the pallets, all pallets MUST be made in such a way that the killer has the possibility of downing the survivor. If not, what would be the point of having several pallets that the killer can't do anything? Do you wish all maps were like The Game?
-
"Oh my god, the killer is doing his objetive! He's toxic, I won't play until BHV does something!"
-
He's already been nerfed twice, now it's a skill issue.
-
The hitbox extension lasts for only 0.3 seconds. If you dodge well to the sides, even using this "tech" the tentacle will not hit.To be honest, I've never had any issues playing against it, and I think that's what sets him apart, so that shouldn't be removed in my opinion. If they remove this, there won't be much more reason to play with him since there are killers with similar abilities and they are much stronger.
-
I don't think sabotage needs more buffs, because it's already an extremely poorly done mechanic and very frustrating to deal with. It basically has no counterplay if used correctly, the killer will have to drop the survivor and will no longer be able to pick him up because of the wiggle buff that the survivors have received a while back, where if the killer drops the survivor the wiggle fills by 25%, so basically he is immune.

Why is it that every time we get this event we have killer mains crying about their queue times but then bending over backwards to defend blatantly busted things in this game mode for killers like Legion/Oni. Of course nobody wants to play survivor when this combo exists, it makes the experience absolutely miserable.
Oni should have gotten nerfs, not buffs in this mode. Meanwhile they nerf ghostface lol.
Even before that, the queue was already long from the first interaction. It has nothing to do with a survivor crying about such a killer.
-
@Viciusaurus said:
I've been having the opposite problem playing survivor. Played 5 matches so far and my entire team has been getting steamrolled through Oni's downs and Ghostface revealing several survivors at once. I know on maps with elevation (such as the shrine) or any patch of corn, and stalking should be pretty much guaranteed.
Well, but in that case I think it's the fault of the survivors on your team, right? Because it's pretty easy to reveal and loop him.
-
Lots of skill issue, Jesus. I really don't understand the difficulty people have in looping this killer, he has the first hit and then he's an M1 killer that depends on the survivor's mistake to take him down...I've played against several P60/P100 Ghouls and never had any problems playing against them, most games were at least 2 escapes.

Streamers play this game almost 24/7. No loop should be designed in a way that you have to sacrifice your life to stand a chance at a tile. I don‘t agree that god pallets shouldn‘t be part of the game. Having a few on a map is fine. Generally pallets should be designed in way of being playable by survivors and not be a 70/30 in the killers favor.
I totally disagree, the loops should be made so that the killers can play on them. For one simple reason, this game is made so that the killer needs to down a survivor as quickly as possible. Every second the killer spends in the chase can be devastating, so if you have a lot of loops where he has no chance of doing anything because it is extremely safe, the game is over. If you don't think this is fair, complain to the devs who made a game where the killer has to worry about downing survivors super fast if they don't want to be at a disadvantage.

The thing is no matter how I play this tile I get hit. If I use the windows → get hit while vaulting. If I drop one pallet and loop the second one it doesn’t take long until I have to drop the second one. After the pallets are gone this tile is worthless. Even when I manage to not get hit while vaulting the killer just walks around the loop and hits me because I gain no distance for playing the window or pallet right. This tile could exist without the windows and it wouldn‘t matter.
I've seen several streamers looping them, it's a matter of mindgame and skill on both sides, as all loops should be. God pallets should not exist in this game, since it does not require any skill or thought.

Only because one map is good the other doesn‘t have to be super bad. They also nerfed the Erye a lot last time and it nowhere near as good as it was. It is pretty balanced now.
I practically saw no difference, there are still several loops without any mindgame and all connected with other strong loops. The layout continues to be the same.

You can‘t seriously call what I just described survivor sided and the double pallet/window is a very bad tile. The dead sands map is already very killer sided and there should be at least something that is a little bit better.
Erye is super survivor sided, so I don't see any problems with Dead Sands being a bit killer sided, and I still think the map is pretty safe in some corners.
-
I don't think she needs any changes, she is already perfectly balanced and that's why she's has never been touched. Maybe I would just rework her Shoes addon since it removes a good part of the survivors' counterplay, other than that I would leave her as it is.

@Langweilig said:
Just had a match on garden of joy and NOT ONE of these stupid jungle gyms had A SINGLE WINDOW.
You can‘t seriously call this balance devs!!!!There is no way you get anything done on this map. You are treating your survivor players so bad. There was no chance to win on this map. Why do I even need to play when I will lose from the beginning due to insanely unfair map design?!?!? I should just be able to leave when I have 0 chance at winning!!!! What am I supposed to do with almost no pallets and no ######### windows!!!!!
Jungle gyms should have windows!!!Same in the borgo realm. There the jungle gyms also have no ######### windows!!!!
I don‘t even need to talk about the coldwind jungle gyms, which are just bad, but at the very least they have windows.
The new double window, double pallet tile on the new desert map is also insanely bad. The windows are unplayable and if you play them the killer just runs half a meter around the wall and hits you regardless on how well you play. There you only drop the pallets and leave.
I really hope you fix those tiles, because there is no way anyone has fun in those matches or delete those maps if you are unwilling to balance them fairly.
It depends a lot on the RNG, but overall it's a very survivor side map if the survivors know what they're doing. And the double pallets on Dead Sands are perfectly balanced and depends on the skill of both sides.Or did you want all the tiles to be extremely braindead like The game?
-
If they revert the speed to 5%, i'm okay.
-
I've never had any problems with this perk (because I never see anyone using it). Besides, Unforeseen is a thousand times better.

you literally write what you want to see who has what progress in accumulating your passive. you ask for buffs in the first sentence. and then everyone writes she tramples survivors. she does not need buffs, under no circumstances. you can knock the cassette out of the survivor's hands with a hit, it's not difficult. your job is to hit and use hooks, and not spam teleports, knock out cassettes and achieve an easy win
You can't take the tape off the surviving hand with just one hit anymore, they took that away a long time ago. Sadako is extremely weak in her current state, she is a noob stomper. You can turn off half of her TVs on the map with virtually no punishment.
-
I noticed that too, I can barely hear her.

No offense but no, it is nowhere near "very difficult to hit".
Yes, it is very difficult to use the dog. It has a very restrictive hitbox and is very easy to dodge.
-
I disagree, her power is already very difficult to hit, if it had a long cooldown it would be very punishing and she would be used even less.At most they could increase the cooldown to 5s only when you hit the dog and the survivor takes a hit.

The cooldown of canceling his power is not very strong, are you sure that works? I feel like that would only work on very small pallet loops and that's it.
And it doesn't change the fact that the counter play is gone once the pallet is down. The nerf he got was well deserved, and from my experience so far, might not be enough. I was still able to get some hits against survivors after using the vault at a normal pallet loop easily. They might have to increase the vaulting time ever so slightly as well, like to 1.7 seconds from 1.5 seconds.
No, even in safe loops you can still do this. You need to get the stun on the pallet, or if he doesn't have enduring you can also just camp the pallet and wait for him to turn off the power, I've done it several times too.If they increased the time to perform the vault, this killer will be dead for sure, since that is his only "anti loop".And they brutally nerfed the only effective way to play with him by putting this 2 token cooldown when you break the pallet.
-
Yes, I talked about it in the feedback but they didn't listen...

And what to do when he just vaults the pallet in enraged mode? What is a survivor to do in that case?
If you do the correct read that he's going to raise his tentacles, you keep running. It's exactly the same thing as playing against a killer who hits you over the pallet. If you keep running, he will have to cancel the power and get a slowdown. I've countered this several times as well as seen several survivors counter it when I was playing with him.

Do you even play survivor? Of course they should be fun to go against as well. The entire purpose of a game is to be fun for it's players. People play games to have fun. What kind of mental gymnastics is that, to say survivors fun doesn't matter when it comes to killers?
I swear people like you won't be happy until killer queue times reach the 20 minute mark.
Yes, I play survivor, and even if I'm against a killer I don't like, I play the match. And I've played against Ghoul several times and I've never found this vault broken like so many people cry about.
-
@ad19970 said:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3922120#Comment_3922120
The ability would still allow you to get hits on very safe pallets. But if it can get the Ghoul hits on any pallet loop, that's just ridiculous, because that means survivors don't have proper counterplay to that ability. Killers need to be fun to go against as well.
No, killers don't have to be fun to go against, you just have to play the game. They can't create a killer always thinking about whether a survivor will have fun with him. There are several things that killers also don't like to play against that survivors have and yet they play.
-
What's the point of buffing Babysitter? This perk was already extremely strong with the survivor running at 4.4...
-
@ad19970 said:
Good to see more Ghoul nerfs. I really hope this change is enough to make it so Ghoul doesn't get free hits after vaulting pallets in enraged mode anymore. But if it's not, I hope that the time to slide over pallets in enraged mode finally gets increased a bit.
If the ability doesn't help you get hits, then why the hell would anyone use it? Besides, it had a very simple counterplay.
-
In which world is Crotus balanced? The map literally has one of the strongest main buildings in the entire game, as well as having a very strong setup with the shack connected to a jungle gym.
-
I disagree, the proposal of the mode is precisely that, chaos. Just as survivors can get useless perks, the killers can too.
-
This is intentional, you can still grab survivors who are entering the portal if the killer is close.
-
I think you got the wrong timing, you need to start aiming when the killer is "adjusting" the survivor on his shoulder. You started the blind very early.
-
I've never had a problem with that. It's unique to him and I don't think it should be taken away. It's cool to get the adrenaline rush of knowing whether he can have the tombstone or not.
-
The fact that you find Blight and Nurse balanced surprised me.
-
The Lich is definitely not weak, most people just don't know how to use his spells correctly. But regarding Sadako and Dredge I agree.
-
Nah, 2 seconds is too little time for a perk that you can use to see the killer's aura at all times, 3 seconds at most would be ok.
-
You will always find survivor matches first, the killer queue is always slow.
