A big issue with the event is that getting the void powers is too inconvenient for both sides. On Survivor if you get hit, you lose so much progress, and you build progress so slowly, that you need to play really safely and slowly to consistently have enough void energy to get the crystals. On the recent stream, they announced the 5 popular maps and a continuation of weighting maps; and although I dont think a rotating selection of maps being weighted wouldnt be a bad idea, I think just weighting the top 5, 2 of which being variations of the same map, is a poor idea. Bro give me the option to turn off aim assist. Aim assist has to be the most useless and the biggest hindrance in this game. Today I've watched one of my old favorite streamers play DBD after years with his friends. No surprise, they were so lost, and for the 2-hour gameplay, he only really looped the killer a few times—when back in the day, he was a really good player (casual, but still good). The current state of the game is really well represented by my last 2 days. Yesterday I escaped over 20 times in solo queue and I might have only died 2 or 3 times total. I'm glad they chose not to fix the tunneling issue, now every killer I face tunnels the very first person they hook. It's almost unplayable.
