Firstly, I wanna state how I believe the gen regressing in your face isn't intended. Secondly, the meat of the matter. If you let go of a gen before someone gets down, Eruption will still proc on you, although without a scream. So the killer knows where you are, but you don't know they do until it's too late. And it's the time you play the game. I work weird hours and play dbd at all times of day. The difference is massive when you play in the morning compared to night. Mostly because morning time kids and teens are playing. They are wayyyy more prone to DC, throw matches and so on. Something goes a bit wrong? Leave immediately. So, here I am, with BBQ/Lethal Pursuer/Shadowborn/Nowhere to Hide, and I spawn into Lery's. The game actually goes pretty well--get two Survivors out, two gens still to go. Possibly too well, as most of the map's pallets are still around. Commence holding W from pallet to pallet after one of the survivors for long enough that the other one completes the two gens. While playing Steve I've encountered severe lag and error connection to the server. If I escaped a game my challenges were not updated with the latest game information and during the trial I would freeze and be unable to interact with the game. I feel like a lot of us could agree that Hills are a bit boring currently. Survivor camping an end of Hill and Killer having to go around to then force Survivor out. Killer camping someone on a Hill and having easier time due to singular entrance... I currently have an issue with the game where if i play survivor i have next to no stuttering or frame issues, but playing as killer i get constant frame drops and lag spikes sometimes making playing the game for more than 5 minutes unbearable, its a constant issue across all killers/maps where its unplayable levels of lag. I'm sick of the same scenarios : killers gets 2k, downs the 3rd, slugs and looks for the 4th. Just give us a "Give up" button or something to die faster while on the ground. It’s a loophole to avoid the DC penalty while achieving the exact same end result: Giving up for an utterly stupid reason (other than hatch). If you queued up, you should be forced to play out the game. Simple as that. If that upsets you, don’t play multiplayer games. Ruin isn't very good as it used to be and hardly anyone uses it now. The more 4Ks you achieve by targeting only one survivor, the more MMR moves you up to where that one survivor is harder and harder to catch. Camping and tunneling is a feast or famine playstyle too.
