It baffles me why people get upset when others dislike something they enjoy. You can still enjoy and play the mode, even if someone like me dislikes it. That's very immature, to be honest.
Down side is killers with mechanics like that would need a huge rework for 2v8.
Nice, I hadn´t been in the mood for DBD for the last 3 days and was angry about myself because I knew 2v8 would end soon and I just couldn´t bring myself to play.
That´s great news , so I have still time to play a little bit more of this mode. It´s my favorite mode, I just wish the queues were better.

Reason why people are upset, by what I seen:
-Killer queue times are 30 mins for a 4-5 min game on both 4v1 and 2v8.
There, it shouldn't baffle you anymore, lol. There are other reason I can think off but it's going to take me a while to go though them.
I don't like it bc it hinders me from playing the game…unlike some of yall I don't have the time to sit through 20 min queues just to play one killer match. If the mode didnt affect 1v4 I wouldnt care less it got extended but it does and it has kept me from playing my fav part of the game since it came out and now I have to wait even longer till I can play killer again.
You could always just play survivor and get 3-4 games in that 1 killer queue time and get more BP.
I have been playing Survivor but guess what…I don't have fun playing Survivor off and on. It ok for one or two matches but I get bored of seein the same two killers every time in 2v8 and 1v4 is just as boring to me. Killer is what I like playing the most…Honestly I rather just play overwatch for an hour than playing bunch of games as survivor.
I agree - I happen to enjoy it, but I was satisfied with it ending when it was suppose to so I could enjoy the new chapter because I am also looking forward to that. Personally
I am one of the fortunate ones where it has not affected my killer queue times, so I don’t mind, but I did want to enjoy the chapter without the distraction of 2v8. If that makes sense

I really dislike 2v8 matches, and I also find the long queue times frustrating. Since this mode returned, I've been playing much less. However, I won't be upset with those who enjoy it—that seems unreasonable. It's important to remember that it works both ways; no one should be upset with those of us who don't enjoy the mode either.

I won't say Im upset with those who enjoy it…more Im flustered with the fact that their enjoyment takes away my own enjoyment. I said it plenty of times on here that I wouldn't care as much if the queue times were just in 2v8 but the mode affects normal 1v4 queues as well. That's why Im not happy and a little ticked off…the 2v8 enjoyers had the mode for two weeks now…its time to go back to normal dbd, the dbd I spent money on.
I understand that queue times can be frustrating, and I feel the same way. However, it's ultimately up to the developers to decide whether to bring the mode back or extend it, not the players. People can request an extension, but the final decision rests with BHVR. They know that queue times have been long for killers, yet they still choose to extend it. It's annoying, but there's not much we can do about it.
Yeah, I know its the devs who decide whether to bring the mode back or extend it and that is the main reason why Im on here complaining about it and will continue to complain about 2v8 so the devs know there are ppl out there who can't play thier game bc of the long queue times. Sure I could play Survivor and I do but I cant play more than 2 or 3 games of survivor before I get bored. I rather play 10 games as tank in ow2(a role I ######### hate) over playing 5 or more games of Survivor in dbd.
What got me really ticked off is devs silence this time around. They havent said anything about queue times being long or show any signs of trying to somewhat the fix them like they did the first time. The BP incentive has been rather low compared to last time.

I tried playing it for a couple of challenges that in theory should be easier in 2v8. Every game is just killers tunnelling the easy to predict cage spawns. Whilst stupid survivors ran about doing everything but touch gens. Was about as fun as getting teeth pulled. Seemed that all the sensible survivors have stopped playing and every game was a stomp. Thank goodness for hatch!
This is the experience BHVR see fit to destroy queue times for. Insane. In three years of playing this game, this was the single worst experience I've ever had on it.
This mode will never truly succeed until the Devs make it so queues aren't uttelry destroyed for 1v4 every time the mode is on. They managed it with every other event and mode, so why is this one so problematic? Is it because it's double the players? It has to be, it's more than just the mode being very popular.
At least it's literally only three days this time.
Why some are you so negative over fun game mode being extended? You guys could chill a bit.
If 2vs8 was pernament 1vs4 queques should be fine but now when it's temporaly everyone wants to play it. Other fact survivor is much easier in 2vs8 so why they should play survivor in in 1vs4? Ofcourse big reason is many want to play killer with someone else too.
Making 2v8 permanent would lead to extremely long queue times, potentially lasting for a month or more. This would significantly harm the game during that period. I hope they just remove the mode permanently, but I know that probably won't happen. I have no idea how they can fix the queue issues with 2v8.
I'm not negative over a fun game mode. The game mode is fine enough and a good idea, and yes, popular and good. I'm not a fan, but I think it's fine. I'm just very realistic about how bad the mode has screwed up queues, and I'm worried if it's made permanent it will ruin the game to the point of killing it.
My comments aren't said out of negativity or hatred for the game mode. My comments are out of love for this game and wanting it to not die because some people prefer a game mode that is half of what the actual game is, because they don't want to admit they don't like really hard games and they simply need a break from it.
I criticize stuff I don't like in the game, in the hopes BHVR will look at why I and others are saying this, and prevent the game from suffering for a limited event mode that is slowly growing more people that dislike it over time with each iteration. I don't doubt there will be an even larger group of people who don't like this mode next time, same as with the other modes and events. It's very likely this mode will lose its novelty if made permanent, too, meaning only the people who want easy Killer stomps and simple Survivor gameplay will play it. That's not bad, and would fix queue times, but is that really the experience you want for the game? It's not for me.
You are 100% correct any thing thats killer side ani event, chaos mode, void event amd 2 v 8 ofc they want it to extend but its ok if they like 30mins queues, who are we to stop them?
… The Anniversary event is the only one of those that was remotely Killer sided. Chaos Shuffle is pretty balanced, Haunted is a little more balanced leaning Surv, and 2v8 is balanced towards Killers if they are good and Survivors if they SWF and get their act together resulting in unfun onesided stomps even with all the balancing done.

Last time 1vs4 queques went quickly to normal I don't know this time but seems more to be region problem. When 2vs8 comes pernament the novelty wears off and players play 1vs4 again too. 2vs8 fixes tunneling/camping and offers better soloQ experience. So it's much more enjoyable mode for casual players.
My killer queques were about 5 minutes in 2vs8 last days so pretty quick. If the queques are only problem you have with mode why don't you suggest solution?
Those who dislike the mode don't obviously have to play it but seem they are minority given how popular the mode is. Dbd definetely has enough playebase to support multiple game modes. It's just how to make both sides interesting.
1vs4 is way too easy on killer that's makes 2vs8 more popular for survivors because it's more fair and balanced. Matches are mostly tight in 2vs8 instead stomps like in 1vs4. If 2vs8 comes pernament 1vs4 need some balancing. 2vs8 was more enjoyable for killer too when you have to work for the win.
Im sure the queques can be balanced. My 1vs4 queques were however completely normal last time. So seems more of region thing so making some of them bigger could be good solution.
