I think it goes well with new iri head. If you have this and iri head, plus iron maiden, you'll reload a LOT faster. It's very much a dumb gimmick and nowhere near the same level of power as other Ultra Rares (e.g. Fragrant Tuft), but it's a cool addon that will probably be broken somehow in a week

To be honest, you picked a very weak killer, picked the most busted map in the game, brought no add-ons and were running perks with very little value.
The outcome was probably going to be the same irregardless of the survivor ranks.
I mean, the bad matchmaking didn't help.

To answer your question OP, no playing Bubba does not make you a bad person. Playing Hag DOES make you a bad person though, and I think it's also illegal.
I've consistently seen on social media people call Bubba a 0 effort killer

A 5/10/whatever second animation of a survivor turning the key on an actual lock to open it. Then, you have to push ANOTHER button to actually go into it (you don't go instantly into it). Also, you should be able to get grabbed from it (I've heard that used to be a thing?).

Ever since I hit rank 10 I've been put against red ranks past 5pm (UK time) , my suggestion is find out when that starts and play around that until you build up your skill. I got reset to rank 14 and am playing against ranks 15-20 and it's an absolute stomp. The second I go past 5pm it's red ranks. Just don't chance it.
Even so it's like "darn it's 4pm can't play dbd anymore"
Good idea but it's still limiting :(

In all honesty, I think the biggest factor behind killer numbers not being super high is because it's a solo experience. It's not something you can enjoy with friends or other people, and that is a massive part of almost every multiplayer game nowadays.
I agree immensely with this;
I like playing killer sometimes, but I mainly play as survivor with my friends. I only solo queue insanely infrequently, and it's because the experience of sharing the game with someone you know is just wayyyy better. I'd much rather play a game with a friend where we talk about the killer, share our moves and laugh about what happens, and then die and die a glorious death than one where I just stare silently at my PC doing 3 gens and leaving.

so it's fine to ruin the game for 4 other people?
also DCing it's literaly punished with timed bans?
What?
1) It's punished with a time ban for the killer. It discourages DC'ing.
2) I'm not saying "DC from every match if it isn't going your way" I'm just saying "If you DC'd from one match that one time where the survivors were purposefully sandbagging you and trying to ruin your fun, it's not that big of a deal"

Because there are 4 other people in the game wanting to play as well. It's not fair to those 4 other people who also waited for a game. It's irrelevant HOW they played - for all anybody here could know they weren't looking to be "toxic" (stupid word for just playing the game), but working toward a challenge - or like me and just like to play wide open. It's literally 5 or 10 minutes out of your night. If you can't commit to the worst the game can throw at you, then play something else and don't even turn it on.
The last minute switch might be a little bit of a dick move, but at the same time I kinda don't blame them. Too many people dodge lobbies for stupid reasons - so this is why this behavior has come up. If people didn't dodge lobbies, people wouldn't last-minute switch to begin with.
I understand it's sort of taking 4 other people away from a game, but it was a game where no party was actively trying to... play the game.
Like OP said, it's not a habit. Bodyblocking and using keys are perfectly OK strategies, but saying "screw this specific killer, I'm going to ruin their game by bodyblocking" is almost akin to a killer saying "screw these specific survivors, I'm going to ruin their game with a VPN"

good team =/= bully squad. and bully squads usually carry a couple flashlights.
keep in mind, they aren't to blame for the matchmaking. it's not like they seeked out a noob to play against
I don't get this comment. They quit the game because they weren't going to have fun. What's wrong with that?
-
I don't see why there's a filter at all; if you're playing this game you clearly are ok with cuss words; some perks LITERALLY have cuss words in them
I think the "ich" thing is because it can seem like a certain word that starts with b. habe ich resembles it sort of (be ich), so I see why it'd censor, but it really shouldn't

@Firellius said:
Increasing skillcheck chance wouldn't really fully solve the issue, you'd still be left with heavy RNG influence.
I'd rather go for either:
1) Healing a survivor for one health state grants a token
Or
2) After healing for 3 seconds, press the active ability button to force a skillcheck. 30 second cooldown.
I like #2.

You really need to calculate it again.
Woops! My bad. I see what you're saying now. That doesn't seem like a bad change actually.

- This one is a bug
- No these changes made them more viable cannibal had a near useless chainsaw without the right perks and wraith was always relient on movement speed addons
- Blight already has a limitiation in the form of a learning curve, we saw oni with only 30° slam, it wasn't fun for anyone involved, and nurse both already has a cooldown and a shorter range, all these abilities have skill ceilings, are hard to use or even require prerequisites to use them in onis case none of these need to be changed
- Static blast is fine, it already has lockers which counter it within the terror radius or just use calm spirit
- Just no ghostface needs a small buff if anything
- BBQ already has a minimum range, can't detect survivors hiding in lockers, and has a cooldown based on how fast you are playing while using it
- Blocked doors? thats just how the maps are designed
- The first one and cooldown one are probably enough to nerf him but making him more skillbased instead is a better change
- spirit has been nerfed buffed, nerfed, probably nerfed again, she just needs an indicator in exchange for some buffs so she is still viable and strong but has more counterplay
- Nah ds is in its best state right now, and should never be reverted back to its more abusable states
- Swf is fine annoying at times and strong at others but it is so inconsistent who is good and who isn't that it should just be left alone
- Taking pressure off your team by actually playing the game should be rewarded, urban evading in some grass is properly punished as it should be, also a team based emblem would cause nothing but complaining and easily spiral into nobody putting in the effort
- Camping is already punished by players if they just stick objective a single guy camped out of the game leads to 3 easy escapes especially with any form of communication or kindred also gen speeds shouldn't speed up over time because then survivors will just hide for the first 10 minutes of the match until they have like a 30% gen speed increase then slam gens
- Flashlights used to be blaringly unhealthy for the game with instantly blinding killers for way too long and blinding killers hooking a survivor and getting the save mid animation, and we should never move back anywhere towards any of that
Basically this is just a list of bad unhealthy one sided changes for the game that it both doesn't need nor should it ever follow them to the T because that is the opposite of progress, we don't need to backtrack on the actually good changes that have been made and make even worse balancing decisions after
Can't agree with 12 more; if you don't help the team, you don't get pips

almost the same benefit? there is quite a difference between 30% autofilled progress and 50%
with second, you are pretty much done ocne you get the skillcheck at 5 stacks, with 30% you get a boost but have enough time and probably need the second skillcheck. and still the problem that you might not get a single skillcheck. I think it should probably get a whole new mechanic like BNPs
Like BNP? So like 1 token all game for a huge boost?

If you want faster heals in every heal use Botany Knowledge. Autodidact is supposed to be a lategame perk, even a single survivor having it in a coordinated team near completely removes healing pressure in lategame. Its main issue is how RNG dependent it is and how some games you fully heal 1-2 people with no skillchecks. It would be a completely fine perk if we just fixed that RNG, it doesn't need any buffs.
The main issue is that its RNG dependent. To get rid of this issue, you make it less dependent on chance (or at least make the chance in the survivor's favor). That's my idea.
Botany knowledge is fine but quite frankly I see it as a boring perk. Autodidact is fun because you can watch yourself go from 0 to 100 in healing, and that 100 is way above what BK can get you. Again, I see where you're coming from, but I just feel like it can't hurt.
-
This is incorrect, I play Adam and I'm a complete moron, not just a little dumb.

@Masterninja said:
I don't think that's a good change. Still depends a lot on luck which is awful for a perk.
In a discussion I posted this:
Now you have at the beggining, -10% progression penalty when hitting a skillcheck. For every skillcheck you gain a token that grants +20% bonus progression. You can only have 3 tokens now.
This way you are able to get almost the same benefit (30%), but with -2 skillchecks.
Yeah, but right now the luck is literally working against the user. It's better off at least working in its favor. I feel like 3 tokens and +20% is better but almost makes the perk? A bit too good? Not sure, but I can see where you're coming from.
@DawnMad said:
Lets just guarantee an extra skillcheck in the middle of each heal, once per heal. Would make the perk less RNG dependent.
Right now I'm getting 0 - 2 skill checks per heal, and two or three heals. Therefore, with this idea, with three heals, I'd be guaranteed 3 tokens, meaning the perk will not help me at all because at the point where it's supposed to start helping me I'll either be dead or escaped. If this is the case it awards not going gens and prolonging the game.
@swager21 said:
i think this is a solid buff. you not getting more than 2 stacks pretty much means that the perk hindered you

Hey folks! I made my first post about how I like to let survivors go a while back. Just wanted to come back to say that survivors treat me like trash no matter how fair I play.
Thus I have decided to be toxic back. When survivors t bag. Or switch items last second so I can’t pick perks to counter. Or are clearly using voice coms(Not for fun but to sweat and coordinate like crazy) as a 4 man swf (not cheating but incredibly unbalanced) I tunnel and face camp them!
It feels great. Especially the voice com using swf. They come into the game with 2 flashlights, 2 toolboxes, bond, everyone running decisive and borrowed time, hook sabo for days, t bagging flashlight clicking etc... Then they complain that they got camped. I love reading all the hate filled messages after. I hate this game. The people that play it are trash and they have made me trash.

....because the duration is twice as long, so the bonus is half as much. It equals out about the same but includes more people this way and lets people relax and divide their time in a healthier way during the event (if they choose).
I mean if you are just saying you want more than they normally give; okay, but I am just answering your main thread question which is why it was 1.5x and not 2x.

Perhaps items left at the end of a trial are counted until some number, and when you reach it you get a charm showing that item that can go on hooks.
Oooh!
For every item rarity, the score goes up by an amount depending on tier; brown is one, yellow is two, green is three, purple is four, and pink is five. You can add these points and get either shards, BP, or a charm that 'evolves' (like different tome tiers) over time.
-
It's a last resort perk. I get that it's annoying, but it's part of the game.
If I'm that Trapper, I have only 3 perks the entire game until Endgame, and then you have one last chance to pull a comeback. It ends chases way faster and tilts the game in the killer's direction before it completely goes south for them. Even with its power, you mentioned how it was a 2K, so clearly it's not like a "bring-this-perk-to-win" type thing. I don't feel like saying "remove noed" is the solution, but rather try and actually develop counterplay.
Plus, I bet you could technically say the exact same thing about keys/DS.
-
When you're near a gen you can hold a button to do it. Doing this gen is considered toxic by the community. Hope this helps

But this scenario people keep mentioning would not happen. Why is everybody so afraid the lore would scream GAY!!! at them?? No other lore has done this for straight characters.
And even if it did, what's the issue? I don't remember people being up in arms about how Jane's lore focused on her career in entertainment so heavily, for example.
By this logic, why put any lore in at all?
Well, yeah.
Like, if a character was female and it said "their girlfriend..." it doesn't matter.
What I am saying though is that there's no point in going back to every lore and being like "ok yeah dwight def likes david"
