Are we going to see TRYKS (JeZable)?

These aren't all individual existing characters, they're potential designs that could be used for the final singular survivor.

Oh Okay, I thought they were the actual character

  • Lastly, I hope everyone was able to enjoy last night’s triple conjunction. I swear it looked like TRYKS was smiling - and with the introduction of these new survivors, it feels like TRYKS knew it All Along.

    image.png
  • Like I’ve said before, all of the new survivors have heterochromia—two different eye colors—which has already been associated with TRYKS. Seeing this trait repeated across every new survivor feels intentional, especially since DBD lore shows that prolonged time in the Fog and Trials changes people, causing them to lose parts of themselves. It makes me wonder if heterochromia is a visible sign of that mutation and a deeper connection to TRYKS.

shame coz the older lady is really unique, something we dont have in the cast yet.

    @Nazzzak said:

I voted the older woman as she looks like an older Xena.

    Also the crab leg killer

if gramma doesn't get in we should just get Old Haddie

Yup the elder has history and story to tell with them battle wounds.

i like the red head dude but he needs a bit more distinctive features like a bit like witcher and the white haired woman.

  • @random1543 said:

I really would be happy with either The grey Hair Lady or Red Hair man, older man would also be dope! I think they all look different from other survivor's we have which I love !

    @OnryosTapeRentals said:

I only had the first two as options. Shame, I would've voted for the red-haired man.

To me Older man looks like a skin for Adam

The young gal with dark hair looks like a cosmetic skin for sable or Kate or someone else

The red hair fella- wish he had more of a distinctive feature that sets him apart - like something that would make him more interesting.

the older woman looks like she has a story to tell with age and battle scars.

Why do they all have heterochromia - two different eye colors - when it’s a unique feature seen only in Tryks?

For the love of the Entity, do NOT rework Artist. After what I've seen BHVR do with other killers they would just destroy everything fun about Artist.

The best way to address Artist is to fix the bugs and make the following change.

    • Make it so that when survivors go into lockers with crows, the crows stay by the locker for 8-10ish seconds before disappearing. If a survivor leaves the locker before they disappear, then they are swarmed again by the crows.

Against good survivors they is little point in trying to get follow up shots across the map; this is due to lockers being everywhere thanks to Dredge QoL, and as a result survivors will just always hop in one and right back out to remove crows. This change above would allow Artist to actually do cross map shots again or at least give Artist some slowdown and make survivors weigh the risk between being in a locker or having crows.

    @kit_mason said:

I'd hugely prefer QOL - especially bugfixes. She's exceptionally well-designed and the only real change change i'd want for her would be to reduce the effectiveness of lockers, letting her express skill at longer ranges, but even that I would be fine with not getting if she just got a really solid chunk of her bugs fixed.

Ever notice how DBD is full of hidden puppeteers? Take Tryks — the Mad Designer, the mastermind behind the Twisted Masquerade, whose influence is everywhere if you know where to look. Alias? Je-Zable.

Tryks isn’t just a name dropped in passing. She’s a puppet master, artist, trickster, and storyteller all rolled into one. And her alias - Je-Zable → Zable → Sable - isn’t a coincidence. It hints at fractured identities, a shadow of herself lingering as the playable survivor Sable.

    Her Footprints in Lore:

    • Tome III – Escalation: Sends a cryptic “birthday” invite tied to the Entity’s celebrations.
    • Tome VI – Divergence: Writings in the Chamber of Blood show her manipulative genius.
    • Tome XV – Ascension: Notes signed “Sweet Darkness” link her closer to the Entity.
    • Tome XVIII – Revision: Observer discovers her surreal cardboard/gingerbread realm — unmistakably her style.

    Fractured Identities: Comedy vs. Tragedy:
🎭 Comedy Mask: In Greek theatre, comedy isn’t just “funny.” It exaggerates, mocks, twists reality, and thrives on chaos. Tryks embodies this: chaotic, playful, Harley Quinn - like energy, joy turned unsettling.
🎭 Tragedy Mask: Tragedy shows inevitability, sorrow, restraint, and the cold truth of suffering. Sable embodies this: stoic, detached, the weight of inevitability.

    Inspiration Done Right:

    • Agatha Harkness: hidden, orchestrating events, dropping subtle breadcrumbs.
    • Harley Quinn: playful, chaotic, darkly humorous — joy twisted into something unsettling.
    • Like many archetypes in comics (Superman → Homelander → Wonder Man), Tryks isn’t a copy - she’s fully her own, blending hidden manipulation with chaotic charm.

    Fan Speculation:

    • New Killer/Survivor: Could she step into the Fog herself? Absolutely — wielding illusions, bending environments, and twisting reality into mind-bending chaos.
    • Next Event Architect: With the Twisted Masquerade behind us, Tryks could take the reins of DBD’s next big anniversary event. She’s already left her mark with collections like Alice in Wonderland — dramatic, surreal, and theatrical.

Tryks isn’t just lurking in notes and Tomes. She’s been teasing her reveal for years.
It wasn’t random. It was Tryks ALL Along. 🎶

It’s an interesting theory, but it doesn’t really hold up to scrutiny. Setting aside the fact that The Unknown’s mimicry of humans is extremely unconvincing (which is deliberate), why is The Unknown posing as some random girl’s roommate? Remember, The Unknown is not willingly working for The Entity, so there is no reason for it to target Mikaela.

    IMG_3407.jpeg

Correct - the Unknown is not working for the Entity but picture this way. Mickalea, as the conduit, attracts two antagonists: Unknown and TRYKS. Unknown hides as a friend but is actually a parasite targeting her, like in SMILE.

Main antagonist TRYKS/Jezable (orchestrator behind the scenes like Agatha Harkness) - who is also Sable- is drawn to Mickalea because of her magical awakening. TRYKS is testing her resolve. If she fails, well… then she gets devoured. It’s a high-stakes trial.

    In Sable’s lore:

“One evening, Sable challenged Mickalea to tell a real horror story at Moonstone’s Annual Halloween Festival. ‘Scare the crap out of people. Stop dancing around the horror and embrace it. Tell a story about The Unknown. Make them imagine it. Make them believe The Unknown will show up on stage. Nothing terrifies an audience more than a show that could potentially kill them.’”

Again, this is just a FUN lore theory idea that might work.

  • 私はサベージをメインにしているので、ティーバッグはお手の物ですが、アーティストを使うときはカラスの設置がうまくいかず、出現も遅れてしまうのが悩みです。ちなみに、Tryks(JeZable)がサベージだって知ってましたか?マイヤーズをメインにしているサバイバーさんと対戦できる日を、今からとても楽しみにしています。

    • The only truly strange "complaint" is the 4-month duration of the rift. Many players complained last rift that they didn't have time to complete it, and here in the forum you'll find a thread with literally HUNDREDS of people upset that they didn't have enough time. So now we have to decide... is 3 months fair or too short? Or is 4 months too long?

Personally, the issue isn’t the Rift being “too long,” but that the grind favors daily logins, making it harder for players who can’t play every day. A better approach might be a slightly shorter Rift with higher-quality content or keeping four months but providing alternative ways to earn rewards, making it fair for both casual and frequent players.

  • Sable main and normally i’d say Sable but Taurie and Rose and Houndmaster deserve it

  • Sable main and normally i’d say Sable but Taurie and Rose and Houndmaster deserve it

  • I was actively voicing my frustration about Sable’s exclusion from this October event. As a Sable main, I can honestly say I don’t envy this rift at all - thank GAWD she wasn’t included after seeing the final result. I’ll just wait patiently and hope she gets something more deserving down the line. 😌

That said, I’ll give credit where it’s due - the animation is the one redeeming aspect of this rift. BHVR clearly had a solid concept, but as usual, it falls short in execution. The Dredge looks decent, but it could’ve been great if the fabric were longer; the current look feels unfinished. I’m genuinely curious if there’s an actual approval process before these designs are finalized, because it honestly doesn’t seem like it.

On another note…”I’m not saying anything but it’s about to get twisted in here." -Jezable (TRYKS)

    • Legion are 4 seperate people in the lore and the Legion comic and their Blight cosmetic confirms this. The only reason that we aren't playing as all of them at once and have to switch between them cosmetically in the lobby is solely because of gameplay.
    • Both Twins can move and act on their own, as seen in their lobby animation, their moris, their trailer & their lore. The only reason Charlotte can't move in-game while controlling Victor is solely because of gameplay.
    • We have no concrete lore on Dredge as a character, as all we have of it is the last part of it's base lore where it's formed and then disappears.

I've already stated all of this above, which you completely ignored just so you could try and bump your thread.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4010042#Comment_4010042

More speculative nonsense that you treat as factual. Nothing within that AI written post proves anything.

    • Your analog arguments doesn't work because there is no story build up for Tryks to be more than what she already is, especially now that the Twisted Masquerade events are over and done with and will be replaced by a new theme next anniversary.
    • Sable's friendship with Mikaela feels hollow solely because she didn't exist as a character prior to her chapter's release.
    • You spelling Jezabel constantly wrong doesn't change the fact that her name is not an anagram and that changing her name to Jezable doesn't make it into one.
    • Nothing within that entire wall of text of your perception of Sable's base lore is concrete evidence that she split into two people, it will always be nothing more than pure speculation on your part, as Sable's base lore ends as she enters the fog to find her friend Mikaela.
    • Sable isn't a mastermind and your ''quote'' from her lore that you used in your second point, isn't even what's correctly written in it, as well as the context being entirely different than from what you've written it as. For Sable to be a mastermind, she would have intentionally known that Mikaela would have been taken by The Entity on stage and having known what The Entity even is, which she didn't and her lore makes that crystal clear.
    • The shadow in Mikaela's lore is obviously The Entity, as it is who we see across Mikaela's entire base lore that's after her and who takes her in the end on the stage.
    • Until something is confirmed in lore by bhvr themselves, everything you've stated is and forever will be pure speculations no matter what, and no amount of pieces that you think lines up will change that.

Frankly, i'm done wasting anymore of my time on you and your AI written looking posts. So i'm simply just gonna put you on ignore now.

You probably find me annoying, but I truly believe JeZable (as spelled in DBD) is Sable. You’re the mirror illusion - unreasonable yet captivating - and I’m the absurdity that insists on making sense of you.

    Love,

    Je-Zable <3

DBD is full of fractured identities - Legion, Twins, even the Dredge.

None of those characters have ''fractured identities'', what the ######### are you even talking about?

We know nothing about Dredge as a character beyond it being a manifestation of dark thoughts, Twins are two entirely different people & Legion are a group of 4 people who lorewise, are all together in the realm as seen in the Legion comic and from the fact that their Blighted cosmetic are them merging together.

None of them have ''fractured identities''.

Sure, people love the quirky archetype - but DBD characters often hide darker sides. Like Agatha Harkness in Wandavision, playful and harmless on the surface, yet powerful and cunning beneath. Sable could be TRYKS filtered through the Entity - chaos as a mask for her darker, original self. That’s more than fan service.

The difference is that there was build up for Agatha in Wandavision to be that way, nothing in regards to Tryks have given us any indications that she's connected to Sable and your ridiculous theory aren't anything other than pure speculation on your part based on surface level similarities.

Small overlaps are enough. TRYKS and Sable feel like two sides of the same coin - chaotic vs. playful.

No it ain't. You feeling like it's two sides of a coin doens't mean that it is. In fact, it feels more like you're trying to use things that aren't related to each other as proof of something that aren't the case.

This actually supports the fractured identity idea. TRYKS shifts tones, Sable leans into quirk, yet shared verbal fingerprints remain:

Them using the same words in a few voicelines is such a reach to call proof. Also none of the things Sable says is quirky, they're just corny.

All these patterns - curiosity, reflection, campfire imagery, shared tics like “Seriously,” and moments where TRYKS hints at Sable’s darker, playful side - suggest a real connection. In drama terms, TRYKS is the chaotic, mischievous “comedy,” while Sable is the darker “tragedy,” drawn to horror and danger. Together, they feel like two halves of the same character, split by the Entity.

The Fog makes this even more believable. It can erode memories, distort identities, and create fragments or archetypes, sometimes splitting a person into different aspects to fit the trials. Sable could have entered the Fog and emerged as Je‑Zable/TRYKS - her grounded, dark original self transformed into a chaotic, exaggerated persona. Both could coexist, replaying trials and patterns, a continuous interplay of her two sides.

Still just speculative nonsense on your part and nothing else.

The Fog doesn't erode memories, memories get wiped by The Entity upon resurrection after death during the trials.

There hasn't been any cases in the lore of the fog distorting identities or fragments or archetypes or splitting a person into different aspects or whatever nonsense it is you're spewing.

Sable walked into the Fog… and Je‑Zable strutted out. Same face. Same stare. One name.

Except they, again as i've stated above multiple times now, don't have the same exact ######### face. Their names are also, again as i've stated before, spelled differently and you ignoring those facts and keep changing Jezabel into jezable doesn't support what you're claiming. Their names are not anagrams and just because you treat them as such, doesn't make them so.

Multiple voices actually strengthen the fractured identity idea. Legion showed one character can speak with many voices. TRYKS and Sable sounding different doesn’t separate them - it underlines the split.

Except Legion's voice changes because they're, again, a group of 4 people who you cosmetically switch between in the lobby. Your arguement for Tryks and Sable doesn't hold up and further just cements to me that you're seeing things that aren't there.

TRYKS has too much potential to waste. Unlike Vecna, she’s original, and linking her to Sable could make her one of the most layered characters in the game.

Linking her to Sable is beyond ######### stupid and would take away from what is already established about the character so far in the lore.

Speculation often sparks DBD’s biggest lore discoveries. Overlaps in style, quirks, and voice lines feel more like intentional breadcrumbs than coincidence.

Lore speculations haven't let to any discoveries before, you're speaking nonsense again, and those ''overlaps'' as you call them, aren't breadcrumbs.

identity distortion is common in DBD, so it's entirely believable that sable is the "true" version and Je-Zable/TRYKS is a Fog-amplified manifestation of her traits. The Fog didn't just change her - it split her: comedy became tragedy, chaos became horror, and Sable became Je-Zable/TRYKS.

Identity distortion hasn't happened before with other characters. Sable wasn't changed and we have no lore about Sable that backs that claim up, because she has no lore beyond her base lore.

"None of those characters have ''fractured identities'', what the ######### are you even talking about?"

Oh sure, fractured identities don’t exist in DBD… except for, you know, Legion, who are literally four different teenagers but somehow counted as one killer because the Entity mashed their impulses together. Totally not fractured, right?

And then there’s The Twins - one body, one baby, one brain split across two vessels. But nah, definitely not an identity split.

Oh, and The Dredge? Just a pile of writhing limbs and shifting forms. No identity distortion there at all. Nope. Nothing to see.

Mikaela & Sable/Je-Zable (TRYKS) – The Hidden Orchestrator?

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/5RSCWFXGM8YH/image.png

Last time, we explored the idea that Julian wasn’t just Mikaela’s friend, but possibly The Unknown in disguise. But what if the real antagonist was hiding in plain sight? What if it was TRYKS all along? 👀

Looking at the lore side by side, the connection between Mikaela and Sable feels lopsided. Julian plays a clear role - he records her shows, submits one to the Endless Halloween Festival, then disappears. Sable, on the other hand, only shows up in her own entry, constantly framing herself through Mikaela:

    • “Mikaela got me a job”
    • “Mikaela went with me”
    • “Mikaela accepted me”

Notice anything? Mikaela never mentions her once in her lore.

That imbalance makes the friendship feel hollow - more like projection or even manipulation. Add in her name (Sable = shadow, concealment) and suddenly she looks less like a side character and more like a hidden hand. Like Agatha Harkness in WandaVision, she could be quietly steering Mikaela toward the Fog while masking her true identity as TRYKS.

And then there’s her alias evolution. Tryks’ name constantly shifts:

    “Je-Zable” | “Zable ” | “Sable” | “Lady Zzl Tryks" | “Z” | “Zzzzzzzzz," | “Zzl” | “Zzzzl” | “Zzl Trks” | “Tryks" | “Tryks-C” | “Lady Tryks” | and the “Mad Designer.”

Each name is like a plank swapped in the Ship of Theseus, a new mask revealing a different facet of the same underlying entity. What remains looks different, but it’s still the same vessel. The masks only reinforce the illusion:

Sable wears Tragedy, stoic and inevitable. Tryks wears Comedy, chaotic and playful. Mikaela thought she was caught between two friends - but there was never a split. She was facing one hidden presence all along, rebuilt, re-masked, renamed, and revealed piece by piece.

    • Netflix analogy: Marilyn Thornhill was the main antagonist, posing as a friendly “normie” teacher while secretly orchestrating events.
    • Disney analogy: Agnes / Agatha Harkness. Hidden antagonist, posing as Wanda's nosey neighbor friend while quietly orchestrating events, theme song, Agatha All Along.

    1. 🎭 Fractured Identities: Comedy vs. Tragedy

At first glance, the Comedy vs. Tragedy mask seems to belong to Mikaela and Sable.

    Sable's Lore Evidence:

"Mikaela liked her horror with a little comedy, but Sable liked it meaner. Scarier. Bloodier. She relished the gore. Enjoyed the terror. Liked to feel the adrenaline rush. And their debates were entertaining to say the least."

This frames Mikaela as Comedy and Sable as Tragedy—but that’s only the setup. The real fracture is Tryks and Sable:

    • Comedy = Tryks → chaotic, playful, unsettling.
    • Tragedy = Sable → stoic, inevitable, cold truth.

Mikaela was a decoy. Tryks is the true Comedy mask to Sable’s Tragedy, two halves of a single fractured identity.

    2. 💌 The "Annual" Endless Halloween Festival

Julian submitted Mikaela’s performance, so on the surface, he appears responsible for her acceptance. But read between the lines: Sable (Je-Zable) orchestrated everything, nudging events so Mikaela ends up invited. Julian is the unwitting pawn. Mikaela’s invite even echoes Tryks’ "Guess who’s invited" from the Twisted Masquerade.

    Lore Evidence:

"Julian, her best friend and roommate, recorded some of her shows and posted them online. Also, unbeknown to her, he submitted one of her performances to the Endless Halloween Festival where renowned storytellers performed on stage for Halloween." – Mikaela's Lore

"Not only did Sable understand the dark side, she revelled in it. Naturally, she convinced her best friend Mikaela to tell a real horror story at Moonstone’s Annual Halloween Festival. Tell them a story about The Unknown and make them believe in it." – Sable's Lore

Sable is the mastermind; Mikaela is walking straight into her perfectly staged setup.

    3. Mikaela – The Bridge Between Julian/The Unknown and Sable/TRYKS

Mikaela draws the attention of two sinister forces. The Unknown, parasitic and hungry, feeds on fear. Meanwhile, Sable/Je-Zable observes from the shadows, testing Mikaela’s resolve and abilities.

    Lore Evidence:

"Mikaela stayed up all night filling her notebooks. The nightmares began that night - dragged down stairs, thrown into dark basements, pierced by iron hooks. The more she finessed her Halloween tale, the darker they grew. Exhaustion and stress left her distracted, her magic drained. As she neared her car, she felt watched, whispered a protective spell, and clutched her keys. A shadow leapt across the wall - she ran, locked herself inside, breath ragged. No one was there; Perhaps it was her nerves playing tricks on her." – Mikaela's Lore

Key Point: Could that shadowy figure have been TRYKS, mirroring Sable/Je-Zable lurking in the darkness? The line from Twisted Masquerade—“You got tryks. Get it… tryks!”—feels eerily relevant.

    4. The Finale

    Sable's Lore Evidence:

"One evening Sable had challenged Mikaela to tell a real horror story at Moonstone’s Annual Halloween Festival. Scare the crap out of people. Stop dancing around the horror and embrace it. Tell a story about The Unknown. Make them imagine it. Make them believe The Unknown will show up on stage. Nothing terrifies an audience more than a show that could potentially kill them. Mikaela laughed at the idea and declined the challenge because she was working on another story with her roommate."

    Mikaela's Lore Evidence:

"On All Hallows’ Eve, Mikaela told a story that mattered, breathing in the wet Autumn wind and acrid coffee, her heartbeat slowing as crimson darkness deepened behind her eyelids. She spoke of disappearing friends, hidden victims, and eternal night, declaring no darkness was beyond light. Thick black fog engulfed her and no one saw Mikaela Reid again."

    Sable's Lore Evidence:

"Determined to see Mikaela again, Sable hitched a ride to the theater. She noticed the cold, black fog rising from the lower depths. The same cold, black fog that had taken Mikaela - and she decided she wasn’t going to let her best friend have all the fun."

    Key Point:
In the crowd’s shadows, Sable’s presence lingered - unseen, yet guiding. Each dark tale whispered Mikaela closer, until at last the circle closed and The Fog claimed her. Drawn more by the Fog than Mikaela’s fate, Sable willingly stepped into its depths - the only survivor to do so, fueled by her own dark curiosity.

    5. Intertwined Lives

Julian may not be the Unknown - maybe he was simply claimed by it. The devs never name-drop, which makes it feel intentional. TRYKS, aka Je-Zable (Je = “I” in French, Zable = Sable), shares the same eye color, hair, and even hair buns echo Sable’s “Winged Pate” cosmetic. The pieces line up too neatly to ignore.

Why resist the idea that they have a fractured identity and are essentially one and the same?

Because it feels incredibly forced and out of left field. Not only that, it also wouldn't fit Tryk's character whatsoever being either a Survivor or a Killer, since she is someone in the lore, who's more powerful than any of the Killers and Survivors combined within the fog. As she's one of the few people in the fog other than The Entity, who has asserted some control over The Entity's realm and has freedom to move seemlessly move around the realm without issue.

Most people who want Tryks as either a Survivor or Killer don't care about the lore aspect. They only want her added back in solely for fan service reason, since she's the quirky Harley Quinn/Tiny Tina character archetype that some people really like.

Beyond aesthetics, no other characters share similar speech patterns - but both use “Seriously” in their voice lines.

Their aesthetics aren't even remotely the same beyond a few similar elements to a cosmetic or two, which doesn't mean anything concrete.

Their speech patterns are also entirely different, as you don't hear Tryks say ''Yum'' or make references to The Wizard of Oz like Sable does. Likewise, you don't hear Sable switch between different tone of voice and way of speaking, like Tryks did back during the twisted masquerade in the trials at times.

Them using the word seriously in a single line or so doesn't hold any real merit to it. Also they're both voiced by two entirely different voice actors.

TRYKS has real potential, and sidelining her would be a wasted opportunity.

I'd rather have her sidelined and remain a lore npc character than have her made into a Killer who gets the Vecna treatment.

I understand your perspective, but to me, the evidence points to them being linked. Fans have speculated that Sable and TRYKS are connected, and I think that theory has merit. That said, I also believe she would make a fantastic killer.

Those fans only speculate so purely out of visual similarities and nothing more, something that's not enough to prove anything concrete.

I really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. Even though I don’t see things the same way, and the number of “vote up” doesn’t change my perspective, I genuinely value the conversation - thank you for sharing.

    1. “It feels forced and doesn’t fit TRYKS’ role.”
DBD is full of fractured identities - Legion, Twins, even the Dredge. TRYKS being powerful doesn’t rule out pieces of her slipping into the Fog as separate personas like Sable. It actually fits perfectly.

    2. “It’s just fan service.”

    3. “Their aesthetics aren’t the same.”
Small overlaps are enough. TRYKS and Sable feel like two sides of the same coin - chaotic vs. playful.

    4. “Their speech is different.”
This actually supports the fractured identity idea. TRYKS shifts tones, Sable leans into quirk, yet shared verbal fingerprints remain:

    Campfire lines:

    • Sable: “A fire. Yum. Bring out the marshmallows.” / “Yeah. Let’s hear a campfire story.”
    • TRYKS: “Hiya! Come… warm yourself by the fire.” / “Hello there! Come roast some ears by the fire.”

    “Seriously” lines:

    • Sable: “Okay. I want to wake up now. Seriously.” / “Seriously I get the feeling something bad is about to happen, yum.”
    • TRYKS: “You made it. Bravo. No, seriously. Bravo.” / “What’s the panic about? Seriously.” / “Seriously. This was preventable.” / “Are you laughing or screaming. Seriously. I can’t tell.”

    Existential / reflective lines:

    • Sable: “I have the feeling I’ve been here before.” / “I just had a déjà vu. I think I know what’s going to happen next.” / “So the moral of the story is… doesn’t matter…”
    • TRYKS: “You ever ask yourself what’s it all for?” / “Ever wonder what it all means?” / “Ever wonder why? And who? And how? It’s crazy when you think about it.”

🎭 Sable walked into the Fog… and Je‑Zable strutted out. Same face. Same stare. One name. 🎭

    5. “Different voice actors.”
Multiple voices actually strengthen the fractured identity idea. Legion showed one character can speak with many voices. TRYKS and Sable sounding different doesn’t separate them - it underlines the split.

    6. “Better as a sidelined NPC.”
TRYKS has too much potential to waste. Unlike Vecna, she’s original, and linking her to Sable could make her one of the most layered characters in the game.

    7. “It’s just fan speculation.”
Speculation often sparks DBD’s biggest lore discoveries. Overlaps in style, quirks, and voice lines feel more like intentional breadcrumbs than coincidence.

identity distortion is common in DBD, so it's entirely believable that sable is the "true" version and Je-Zable/TRYKS is a Fog-amplified manifestation of her traits. The Fog didn't just change her - it split her: comedy became tragedy, chaos became horror, and Sable became Je-Zable/TRYKS.

Similarities =/= Two seperate things being one and the same. This frankly is no different from the people who claim that Skull Merchant was supposed to be Predator originally, just because of a few certain aspects between both characters being similar.

    • A single cosmetic with a hairbun means nothing, it's a common hair style and it's not even Sable's default hairstyle.
    • Hair covering the eye is so completely far-fetched as a evidence that it's just laughable really. I guess anyone who's hair is covering their eye must mean they're someone else also.
    • The moon symbol (for a single cosmetic mind you), does not match Tryk's moon symbol, they're have a different round shape from each other.
    • Sable's eye color is not the exact same color as Tryks' when comparing in-game, however the eye color proof doesn't even matter since Tryks has two entirely different eye colors.
    • Also the names aren't even the same, one is Jezabel while the other is Sable. The names are not anagrams and moving the letter around doesn't create any new meaning to them.
    • And again, their facial structures are not the same when comparing. Same way that Skull Merchant and Trickster has facial structures that are similar to one another, but are not entirely the same as each other.

None of your points are concrete proof of anything, it's all nothing more than just pure speculations on your part.

Why are people downvoting this? Tricks as a skin would be cool.

People might not like the idea of TRYKS, but I don’t care - ’ve done my research, and all the evidence points to them being the same. As I mentioned before, ‘Je-’ in French means ‘I,’ making ‘I-Zable’ essentially Sable.

From Google: "Tragedy and comedy are fundamental parts of theater. They are the two main dramatic genres that originated in Ancient Greece and continue to serve as core categories for theatrical storytelling."

To me, Sable is Tragedy, TRYKS is Comedy—two fractured halves of a single, hidden soul.

So does Mikeala but it was for the Tricks & Treats collection.
Sad she’s not included for October Roadmap - Sable could at the very least be included in rift and or void

Personally, my pipe dream for Donna is for her to be a Twins skin - if BHVR can manage to change Victor into Angie it'd be absolutely perfect.

I can totally picture Victor taking on Donna’s doll-like, haunting role.

  • Please give Artist The Lady Dimitrescu skin:

The Artist has the perfect height, gothic style, and dramatic presence to pull off a Lady Dimitrescu skin. Her elegant but creepy vibe matches Dimitrescu’s iconic look, and her crow-based attacks fits the Resident Evil aesthetic. Plus, it’s purely cosmetic, so her gameplay stays the same and i'm really hoping she can be introduced in the next resident evil 2v8.

  • I do love!

I play killer more than survivor. My mains are Artist and Vecna. I’ve dealt with hackers, tag-team flashlights, and of course the infamous teabag squads. Honestly? I just laugh and think, ‘you little… just wait.’ Sometimes I wipe the whole team, sometimes it’s three, sometimes zero. Maybe my sense of humor’s a little dark and twisted, but I never take it that seriously.

It gets under peoples skin who are just trying to have fun with the game. Its the definition of toxicity. One side or the other needs to be the bigger person and stop, killer or survivor. I say BHVR make teabagging and hitting on the hook a reportable offense. No excuse to mess with real people like that.

Wait… we’re really upset about teabagging? Seriously? 😂 Fortnite and every other game out here hands out emotes so players can express themselves, but in DBD it’s suddenly a crisis? Please. Until we get proper emotes, you’re either getting the squat-squat special as we are forced to watch killers do their little sway dance over our us survivors.

You call it toxic, I call it communication. It’s playful, it’s competition, it ain't that serious. I teabag constantly 😈 and funny enough, most killers get the joke and vibe with it. So maybe it’s not that deep… unless, of course, a few squats on pixels ruins your day, then maybe DBD isn’t the endurance sport for you. Periodt.

  • @Alicia_Tried6041 said:

Make the game fun again for killer and survivor. This would be a good first step. Lets try to remember there's a real person behind that screen. To those who aren't toxic more power to you.

Listen, as a proud Sable main, teabagging isn’t toxicity, it’s a dialect. That’s Morse code with knees. BRUH! Killers have nods, wiggles, and that weird back-and-forth dance on your body (you know what I mean), and somehow that’s fine. But listen, the second survivors drop a few squats it’s like we’ve committed a war crime? Please. We’re "real people" with personalities, and some of us express that personality by doing 47 squats per minute under a hook. 💪😂 If we take that away, might as well make the game a silent staring contest, Periodt.

Please join us in congratulating not only the winners, but every single person who submitted a design this year. There is so much talent in our community, and it is an honor to be able to showcase it in this way.

We can't wait for you to see these creations in The Fog, and the amazing wonders you prepare for next year!

    The Dead by Daylight Team

It’s worth pointing out that Orela Rose faces a lot of hate in the community. Between transphobia and tunneling experiences, she may never win a community cosmetic, unless the devs create one themselves. As a Sable main and a TRYKS linker (I see them as one and the same), I don’t play Orela, but she still deserves recognition and support. - Personal view.

    Developer Pick

The Dev Pick is saved for the cases where we come across a cosmetic that we all love and simply have to bring it into the Fog. For this year’s Dev Pick, we decided to choose this Killer Cosmetic by Merelifluous called, “Gilded Baroness” for The Houndmaster!

Hey BHVR, I’d love to see Tryks (the Mad Designer) expand her Alice in Wonderland collection! The original set was amazing, and it would be incredible to see new cosmetic ideas for both survivors and killers.

    Some suggestions for new additions:

    • The Houndmaster – Queen of Hearts w/ Bayard the Bloodhound
    • Dredge – Caterpillar
    • The Twins – Tweedledum & Tweedledee
    • Vittorio – White Rabbit
    • Sable - White Queen
    • Taurie – Dormouse/Mallymkun

Take into the looking glass or to the rabbit hole. 🃏🐇🍄

I’ve been playing Dead by Daylight for several years now, and up until recently, I was deeply invested in the game. However, I must admit that my enthusiasm has significantly waned over the past few months. The primary factor behind this decline in interest is the excessive and, at times, seemingly unnecessary nerfs that keep being introduced.

A prime example of this is the Fog Potion. This item has never been particularly useful, but it has recently been nerfed to the point where it’s now virtually useless. This is just a small piece of the puzzle. What frustrates me the most is how this trend extends to so many other aspects of the game—killer and survivor perks that are constantly being buffed and nerfed, often without a clear or consistent plan. The constant changes are disrupting the overall experience for players.

What bothers me even more is that when a new killer or survivor is released, it feels like the development team isn’t fully considering the long-term impact of the new content. Instead of gradually balancing things and observing how the new additions affect gameplay, they nerf new abilities within mere days of release, which creates a very underwhelming experience. I understand that balancing is crucial to the game, but is this really the best way to achieve balance?

Lately, it feels as though the development team lacks the necessary foresight and understanding to make intelligent changes. Rather than improving the player experience, these rapid and excessive adjustments seem to be eroding it, leading to a growing sense of frustration and a loss of trust in the game's future.

I’d love to see a greater commitment to long-term balance, where changes are made thoughtfully and gradually, rather than in reaction to every perceived imbalance. Dead by Daylight has immense potential, but these impulsive balancing decisions are diminishing the overall enjoyment and pushing many of us away from the game.

Does anyone else feel like the game is losing its magic due to these constant adjustments? What if we shifted back to a more gradual and consistent approach to balancing? I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Original killers deserve some rework love. Instead of pushing out more licensed killers, I’d rather see resources go toward quality updates for classics and continue on creating new original killers.

How can I know if the developers are aware of this post? Generally speaking does one just makes a post here and hopes a dev sees it and leaves a reply or they can just look at it and not say anything?

They encouraged using the Feedback/Discuss forum. Devs might not reply but doesn't mean they are not being read - likely filtered or passed along if a topic stands out.
