  • Just change the shards in the spirits body.

Nurse can have a different color/aura on her hand.

Doctor can have colored shocks or something

  • Just change the shards in her body...

How would Spirit's Power cosmetics work?

Maybe the shards on her body?

  • @SanKa_Games said:
Actually, it would be a good idea and it wouldn't be too hard to implement. Just give the new power item with the weapon. They already have powers listed as items, that are even changeable (Hi, exploits from the past!).

    exactly.

It's a big problem on console. I have played against survivors who knew how to "abuse" the broken auto-aim.

    Console is crap anyway.

    enjoy the 15 fps.

Just always swing in a circle with higher sensitivity.

    Then it doesn't work.

I agree. This should also affect Leatherface, Wraiths bell, clowns bottle, etc.

The reason i only listed Billy and not LF is because of licensing.

  • That's game dev mentality these days

Because it changes the dynamic of lopping over a pallet adds in more mind games and means survivor's have to choose screwing over there team by risking a pallet breaking on them.and when you got two different people in the same direction one will be forced to take the long route to escape meaning you have more time to kill them

Did you read what i wrote?

It's a stupid joke perk that makes it so pallets just respawn for no reason. it's so survivors always win hence the joke.

    Are you a human being?

I got the joke shesh I turned your joke.perk into a viable perk that will end chases or looping around a pallet as it will slug a person

So instead of a Survivor perk it's now a killer perk that randomly breaks downed pallets?

Here i got a better idea.

    New Perk: Decisive Game.

The Entity feels bad for you. broken pallets auto generate after staying within 5/24/56 Meters of it for 20/10/5 seconds.

That would actually be useful as a hex I mean people wont try to loop over them knowing it will destroy it and if the pallet broke under them then they could get hurt or slugged but instead of a time limit say 4 at yellow tier 3 and green tier 2 at purple tier and that puts a whole new dynamic on the pallets as you don't know if the pallets been looped on and your heading into a trap or not

Why would you think my horrific joke of an idea is good?

Well at first i gave legitimate reasons why it wasn't that great of an idea and you called me a "Salty Killer Main" So obviously you weren't ready for any kind of legitimate discussion.

  • Happened only like twice ever for me. and sometimes if i don't tap fast enough.i

  • Like if they tested it to make sure everything worked. And something didn't work. Why release it like that? Instead the Spirit was just nerfed.

One problem at a time pinkie. Not everything is going ro be fixed at once.

I'm aware. Just silly that their brand new Paid DLC is lacking an intended feature and they can't fix that even after a PTB. people have known for a little while.

  • Ban any player who DC's from 30% or more of games. Because if it's legit connection issues it won't amount to almost a third of all games played.

Right now it's like a softban for 80%. Ridiculous.

and yet if a killer breaks all of the pallets in an area, your screwed? plus forcing them into an exhaustion timer, along with notifying the killer if there in a radius around you, makes it a far riskier play. hell you could even put it on a token system, making you actively have to for example cleanse totems in order to gain the "inner power" to reset a pallet

If you didn't complete all of the generators in the time it takes to waste every pallet on the map you deserve to be sacrificed.

  • awww man remember when Brutal Strength was good?

  • @Maelstrom10 said:
Someone sounds like a salty killer main. ;) and with the nerf to d strike and selfcare/healing coming i think its perfectly reasonable to add a perk to re flop pallets back up. i mean all it takes to counter it is to break the pallet (of which so many killer perks allow them to do faster ie Spirit break, fire up, brutal strength)

"Since Survivors are going to be more balanced, we have to even that out with more buffs"

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHA NO

Here lemme give an actual reason.

Survivors didn't have enough safety nets already?

If that happened Killers will just break every pallet anyway.

and if they wanted to keep bloodlust they would be punished for it.

  • Trapper and leatherface hardcore.

    And the laughingstock.

  • Nah we get asian skins and a mad max / jason x trapper instead.

    Poor clown.

  • Why are people talking about Identity 5? It's just a crummy mobile game.

A long time ago I mastered the Nurse (but I admit I'm now very rusty with her). I can say she is not hard as people say. Sure she needs practice to get the timing and the distance, but once you get used to her blinks you don't need much strategy or mindgames as other killers for the simple fact that her ability is so powerful. She only needs a bit of prediction (on a similar level of the Huntress), but overall she is very straight forward.
I also think she has almost "crutch" mechanics like 3+ blinks that allows her to make mistakes and correct them, and sometimes misuses of her ability ends in undeserved hits.

Honestly I find killers like the Trapper or the Hag harder to master.

^That's what i'm talking about. it's hard, but not some impossible task that only 50 people can accomplish. When i say the whole "2 hours" thing look at what i said. Not that they "Will" Do fine but that they "Can" do fine

I see theres some argument about the doctor.

    I have 1700+ hours played.

    I have all killers P3 50.

Ive been rank1 on both sides dozens of times.

You can evade a good nurse if played well.

You cannot evade a good doctor. If you think you can, then you simply havent seen one.

Ive mained doc at rank1. Have you?

This is a game about hiding from the killer. You cannot hide from a good doctor. Your position is given away from the very beginning, and while its easy to snap out of it, it doesnt matter if hes chasing.

You also cannot pallet loop a good doctor, since you cannot drop a pallet when shocked, nor use items like flashlights.

If you lose them as a doc, you simply switch to treatment mode and patrol some gens. They will pop up. If they dont, and the gen is getting slowly done, then you know they are in a nearby locker.

Thus, since you can neither pallet loop nor effectively hide from a doc, hes OP. I know because I almost always get a 4K, Im a survivor main, and doc isnt even my main killer, its Myers <3

Again, if you think doc isnt OP, then you simply havent played a good one, or were with SWF, which can overcome anything.

Thinking that Doctor is better than Nurse kinda busts your claim anyway. Either you're a really good Doctor, or a bad Nurse.

It's simple. Anyone can be good with any Killer. Some are better at certain ones rather than others. It's all about potential.

A really good anything is good. Its possible to escape a good nurse (not easily), but you will not escape a really good doctor. its simply not going to happen.

it looks to me like most people here are too new or low ranked to have played against a good doc, tho im sure they think they have.

I mean i only have 800 hours but that's still a lot for a video game...

Assuming everyone else is wrong cause of your hours? Cmon. They're just opinions. No need to be egotistical.

A lot of that is known and agreeable.

There is one huge red flag in there

"Doc is OP" He's mid tier at best.

Doc is op at lower tiers and on certain maps, Gideons, Lery's and even Haddonfield/Springfield if using extended terror radius with extended electrode radius.

At lower tiers. As in he does good against bad survivors. That doesn't hold a birthday candle to the term "OP"

according to that argument, Freddy is "OP".

Way to take it out of context and use a bad analogy. He's good at low tiers against even good survivors and as stated which you conveniently ignored the maps mentioned. There's been others who're higher ranked than me that've stated the same thing but i guess that doesn't fit the square peg into your round hole argument.

So again in low tiers with those addons and on those maps he's op compared to say most of the other killers. On Lery's, Gideons, and Haddonfield/ Springfield I'd much rather face Huntress, Hillbilly, Pig, The Shape, Nurse etc. While they're all really strong and good on those maps they're not super oppressive.

Man the defensiveness and ego behind that.

Out of context? When someone says "OP at low tier" that only means that he does well against new/bad players. This has nothing to do with his MAXIMUM potential as a Killer. It only means that new/bad players misunderstand how he works.

No ego and no defensiveness there you're reading way too much into that and projecting your own thoughts onto my post. Again you completely ignored my point about higher ranked and experienced players having issues with him as I already pointed out.

I understand how he works and on other maps how to play against him which isn't the point. You just keep using the excuse of new bad players to avoid the real issue which is he's a problem on certain maps and tiers.
If I never choose to do the dailies on survivors I don't play I'd be much higher ranked, the same is true for killers.

On most maps he's fine and he requires a different play style and tactics, the same as any killer does. But again as pointed out above on others he's way more difficult. while every killer ahs maps they're good on he just blows away on those maps compared to other killers.

He can be more difficult on certain maps but not OP by any means.

I still don't believe they "can" do well. They "will" get wrecked against good players.

    Fair enough opinion. Respectable.

It's subjective both ways really anyway. "good" Survivors and the like.

  • @boogiewoogie said:
Nurse in the wrong hands against good survivors gets destroyed. I've had it done to me.
But a good nurse will usually win the game. She's that good

2hrs... no way. Maybe you have the knack for her, but nobody plays her correctly within 2hrs

    I said "Can" Not "Will".

I also said they can do "Well enough" not "4k every game"

I mean hypothetically if someone plays her 2 hours nonstop in a session they can do alright. They'll get the hang of it.

  • @theagitatedapricot said:
@Shadowchao121 Yeah but I specifically mentioned pallets that are not in your line of sight. It also means you don't have to spend anytime actually checking to see what's around you, it's just automatically displayed for you. And yeah, the cooldown is excessive.

I mean yeah basically it's for lazy people.

  • @Runiver said:
She's somewhat are to learn. She's mostly about "muscle memory" and get used to it.
Strategically talking tho, some other killers, such as Hag or Trapper, are way superior in term of learning compared to her.

Overall, being skilled with her is way too rewarding compared to what it should be, but survivors are in a similar place. Once you're good at survivor, you can pretty much waste any killer MINUTES in a round in a single chase, even without DS or insta-heals. (Except for Nurse, most of the time)

Yeah i agree with that man i remember getting to rank one back in the day when Hag was stunned after every teleport using only her. Gooooooood times.

  • @The_Manlet said:
She has the highest skill floor and highest skill cap, but she isn't that hard to learn at a basic level, just harder than the others, and a mediocre Nurse is more powerful than most other killers even when played by pros. But yeah, it takes a lot of time, effort and natural talent to become an expert with the Nurse, and at that point you become unstoppable. Overpowered. Broken. Because that's what the Nurse is, she's broken. She just ignores all the mechanics in the game and does whatever she wants, with her only limitations being player skill. Other killers are limited by the mechanics of the game and have inherently lower potential.

Nurse is actually the only killer who is in control of a chase. Every other killer is at a disadvantage and can only react to survivor mistakes while looping, except for the Huntress who can 50/50 certain loops. Nurse is the only killer in the power role. The other killers are reactionary.

    Respectable as #########.

I think people are underestimating how useful Windows would be. How many times have you turned a corner thinking there's going to be a pallet and you find out either one didn't spawn or it was already used? You don't always have clear line of sight until it's too late. It also seems to work against the Doctor's hallucinations.

I'm not saying it's meta breaking but it's not trash. It definitely needs the cooldown removed or significantly reduced, though. OR it could also include a vault speed increase, like Bamboozle.

Most people make sure they know these things before they ever get in a chase though. They will work on a gen and look around them and see which pallet or window is close enough to help them escape if need be. That already takes away from the perk because of the cooldown. They will use the window or pallet that they know is there and then for 40 seconds it won't matter cause they can't use the aura anyway.

  • Doctor is lower mid tier at best...

I think it's because doctor is fun to play as and i think it's just that A LOT of people play doctor.

  • Honestly the only thing i had in mind when i created this was "A killer you DON'T want to be looking out for" Since players are weary of Micheal and the Wraith and that could incite real fear into the game as to not knowing in the beginning of the game whether or not being cautious and checking over your shoulder would be detrimental. Could also be useful in chases as the survivor would be forced to risk knowledge over scattered paths and getting caught faster.
