more ignorance, ignoring the major issue as to why survivors are giving this much backlash and receiving this so GODDAMN poorly. I really wonder why they're taking this so poorly ( Killers proceed to get constant back to back win Via 4K's since Survivors can't even complete their basic tasks, like....i dunno; SURVIVING? or doing gens, without getting someone downed?)

But, sure, go ahead, feign ignorance and see how far that gets you. You'd think for a person who has that many posts ( and I'd assume hours that exceed my own.) you'd understand both sides......

"Surviving" well, the definition itself mean it's hard, survs have to survive, this is all about this.

When you go into a trial, you need to play well to exit, if it mean leaving others on their fate, it's okay, your goal is to survive. I saw so much stupid bold altruists actions and pallets greed to know these survs don't play well, but be reassured, most survs don't play well, they just didn't know because they were perk-babysited. This mean, even bad, you could bully the killer because of op perks and extend chases to an amount you should have not in normal circumstances.

I sometimes wonder if survs realizes they got a ressource who is other survs, exit is way easier if you use others survs as a tool for your win.

Being downed and hooked is part of the game, if this don't happen, there is a serious balance problem, or the killer is afk.

The worst part of it is having to click through the first 20 levels which only give you brown/yellow garbage, every time you prestige. Legit spend more time in bloodweb now than playing the actual game.

This is the worst, they could at least let the full bloodweb even when you prestige...i don't want to waste my points on garbage addon.

  • I absolutely agree on rework of some maps.

Garden of joy is a pain because of the main building, survivors know it, killers know it, everybody know how strong the main building is in this map for survs, just add some breakable walls, it will do the job.

Artist map is a problem because too huge, survs can do gen mostly safe.

New haddonfield is like mega over huge with a stupid gigantic road, even houses are huges, man, as a killer, when you are on this one, you are like "oh god no...easy loss incoming..."

gas station is still a huge problem too, too much long pile of cars walls.

    And, i all maps, problem is gold pallets, one of the thing i hate the most is seeing survivors run to "killer" shack...more like survs shack for me...because of the pallet who is always, always here. But it's a sample, there is other ones. You should make something like this;

    • All pallets are on RNG, and total number is fixed.

The main goal is to cancel "safe zones".

  • If there was a new game mode, i way more expect a 6v2, could be fun !

  • DS was a plague before the differents nerf, it was all but fun to slug survivors, worst was at end game when they knew the downed is going to DS you at exit gates. And the stun was horribly long, you have no idea how much time i got DSed without even actually tunneling...so no, the new DS is way healthier.

Being actualy tunneled mean you have NO TIME to touch a gen, heal yourself and so on, sooooooo, if you really are tunneled, OtR and DS will work.

If it don't, this just mean you are not really tunneled.

You say playing killer is easy then you tell us all that you use the 2 best killers in the game, which pretty much makes your whole topic pointless if playing killer is so easy do it with bad killers and non meta perks?

I agree, it's pointless, they are the two by far best killers of the game. Fun is i don't even play them xD

Should give a more serious try one day...

  • There is two problems with boons, but it's not the range, even if it's can be adressed, but very not necessary.

    • first, killers don't have a basekit choice to unlit OR destroy it but just unlit, this is the first point why boons are too powerfull. This mean survs can destroy the perks(hex) of the killer easily in basekit, but we can't efficiently counterplay without a perk using a slot of another.
    • Second, CoH is too powerful, the best adjustement to be made is to cut by half the speed boost of healing.

  • @SuzuKR said:

People that think playing smart and efficiently is toxic will never fail to bewilder me.

What, is an enemy toxic for going for headshots in an FPS because they do it better than you do?

    Love your answer bro'

    @Reinami said:

If killers play nice and try and 12 hook, not tunnel, never camp, they won't be able to win unless the survivors are potatoes.

If the killer doesn't play nice, tries to 1 and 2 hook, proxy camps at a nice 3 gen place, then they get raged at in the end game, and the survivors generally have a bad time.

This should be fixed. The game should be designed in a such a way that a killer is able to win by going for hooks, and doesn't have to camp and tunnel. Additionally, in such a world, camping and tunneling should either not be possible due to game mechanic changes, or result in the killer automatically losing due to game mechanics going against them in this case. This should all be possible in solo queue as well.

This would result in the game being much more fun for both sides. Tunneling and camping get addressed, so survivors don't feel like they don't get to play the game if they are the unlucky ones. Killers get to have more fun because they aren't sweating it out trying to tunnel out or camp a survivor. You would see more positive interaction between survivors and killers (I.E. the chase, and the mindgames) rather than the toxic ones we often see now.

DbD is not a sort of game who you are "nice", one side have to survive, the other one have to chase and kill the first side. Every, every game who is a competitive PVP game isn't nice, it's like this, it's not the end of the word, people have the right to hate each others.

You better talk about behaviors that make one side to act in some manners, as tons of killers already explained why tunneling and camping are good strategy at some given points of a game or another, and sometimes, it's done without even wanting it.

Can we more talk about the behavior of survs ? Why are they t-bagging you all game ? clic clic you ? open the exit gate but waiting you to t-bag you instead of exiting ? Teams of bully ?

If the gates are open, just leave if you are all safe for god sake, why is this manner of an habit to necessary taunt the killer ? I will never get it.

I am someone who act accordingly to others behaviors, if they act like trash with me, i will make them pay. I don't act toxic if the survs i have to face don't use the said behaviors, but i am still a killer and i will do my best to win anyway.

  • Well, dredge is funnier to play than her, and best, as someone said above the reasons why.

    There is two problems with sadako;

    • first, his tp ability is too restrictive because the time the tvs takes to be lit again is too high, or maybe put 1-2 tvs more ?
    • second, the condemn building is too long and too hazardous to be actually dangerous.

The second problem made me think about the cenobite who got the same problem with the box, survivors know where she is without distance limit and you don't know where she is at all, not even at 2-4meters.

I am always sad too see the counter mecanics being so simple for survs...it barely impact their gameplay.

  • Just make reassurance desactivate when door are alimented and put a cooldown on the surv who got reassured, end of story.

    So, no griefing problem.

Survivors don't have the right to hold the game, this is not their purpose, they can't be more powered than the killer, this is a nonsense when they are.

  • It's not fun if too easy you know ?

    Honestly, i mind mostly about two things;

    • survs who make you run a lot
    • Gens done too fast.

If a game is not in these two parameters, even if 2-3 flee, i don't really care, if i got at least like, 6 hooks done, i'm okay.

Doesn’t really matter if it ends the chase a lot sooner. Vaults are a permanent map resource for survivors as pallets dwindle. If you can remove those from the equation too, you’re really putting them in a bind.

If they got so little available pallets(and no gold assured one because RNG system), i will eventualy agree, but they got a lot+golden ones so i can't agree.

Why should Killers get a free-hit in the first place, because of blood-lust. Before blood-lust was more fair, now it's a give-me-a-free-hit.

Bro, bloodlust terminate if you crunch a pallet, it's not OP, it's just good if the surv use some loops who permit BL to be of use.

And because BL terminate when you break a pallet, this is why you sometimes can never get some survs is some games, because way too good and they know how BL work.

    Don't say "don't break pallets" there is enough ones you are forced to break (like the golden ones who always spawn at the most OP places), this mean two things;

    • You don't break it => chase never end.
    • You break it => chase enver end.

This is called a loss-loss situation. And even if you catch the surv, you loss too many time. Worst is you got shamed as a killer at end game. Your game was already horrible, and yet you got t bagged and humiliated more at end.

    Talk about a toxic community.

the steamcharts comparison has been a constant downward trend literally since then, its something that gets brought up a lot by killer mains. What is even the point of your reasoning when its not about time in chase, but rather number of chases? The entire problem with CoH is that it killed hit and run playstyles and forced the killer meta toward camping and tunneling which is endemic now as a result of people adapting.

I am a hit and run killer, i like to do this, but CoH is a plague, this is true...they should at least cut by half the healing time bonus.

WELLLLL not really, i took some months or more pause in the years because playing killer was just hell. It was just frustrating, not fun, you got bullied all time because survs were way too OP. And more the time passed, less i played.

I don't even know how anyone is supposed to take this seriously. Some killers you know are older, and some survivors are younger therefor killer is easy and survivor takes skill and reflexes. No logical holes in this argument at all.

Why are you trying to denigrate an entire group of people who play the same game as you? What purpose can that possibly serve?

I was wondering too, there is absolutely no relation about the age of players.

What the hell is this thinking ? There is no logic here.

Are you living under a rock? Meta, Most effective tactic available takes time to establish. There was a bunch of changes made that geared the game towards killer being in the power position again. Most people are taking advantage to the napkin math that went on in the changes relating to hook timers:gen timers and pushing someone out of the game as soon as possible.

While its always been effective, the current changes to gen times means you can't leave someone on the hook for half a gen and still get there for the rescue It's no longer effective to slam out gens while someone is getting proxied on a hook as _usually_ you're halfway through a gen by the time someone gets downed. Hook trading is counter productive, as the extra 50s worth of gen time over the game (thats an entire extra gen to do) 3 people slamming gens means 2 gens can pop before someone is sacrificed.

3v1 with 3 gens its nearly impossible if the killer has any kind of common sense. Which the ones I tend to play against do.

It doesn't create enough counter pressure to be able to force the killer from the proxy to patrol, its just not worth it. If someone gets pushed out of the game before 2 gens pop, games over. You could fix this by extending hook timers by another 10s. Though with the new perks coming out that point is basically moot, you can send a runner to run the hook with reassurance while the gens are being done.

You know that the killer is sensed to be logicaly the one in power position ? YOU ARE SURVIVORS DUDE !

There is absolutely no logic when survs are in power position, this is why we, killers complained for years about being stupidly bullied by over OP survs squad.

If survs can bully you, this mean they have the time to do it, the problem is here; the time.

If survs actually are survivors, they should not have the time to bully you, you are the killer, they should fear you, if they don't fear you, it's not normal, this mean killer is underpowered or/and survs are too powerfull.

This cumulation of my points explain the nerfs of survs and the little buffs on killers. Because you got way more nerfed than the buff we got.

Survs were way too strong because of some perks, now, the game is healthier.

    You are getting ridiculous here.

  • Reassurance will be nerfed, 100%, if they don't put a limit of some sort, this perk is gonna be a bully perk.

Hyperfocus could be nerfed, this seems a way too strong.

Prove thyself will be nerfed, overtaken and way too high numbers.

Thanato will get repaired to be viable again, because 22%=>8%"bonus if all 4 survs injured LOL" is a joke, could be a 14-16% middle ground.

Circle of Healing could be nerfed, less speed bonus, it need it anyway.

This is my bait as the actual state of the game.

  • Matchmaking can't be efficient if there is no balance between killers/survivors i think, BUT when i play my hag, i mostly only fall on very fkin goods swf survs, and it happenned even before the big patch, so i just think my hag mmr is broken so i don't play her, can't have fun...

Great. They called them legitimate strategies. What on earth does that change?

it's clear that pretty much every survivor player hates these strategies. For the most obvious reasons. They are so unfun to go against, and are simply very unhealthy for the game. And it's perfectly backed up by the fact that the average killer queue time is a bit problematic at the moment. The game simply doesn't have enough survivor players.

So ignoring these complaints is not going to do you any favor. BHVR can call them legitimate as often as they want to, it won't change the fact that they are insanely frustrating to go against, are extremely unhealthy for the game, and are clearly driving too many survivor players away from the game.

Of course the claims of this game dying are beyond exaggerated. But it still isn't good for the game at the moment, to have a clear imbalance of players.

I would also guess the reason they said that camping and tunneling were legitimate strategies is because people reported killers for those strategies. So that it doesn't even really have to do with whether they are good for the game or not.

Hopefully it can't be reported, imagine if it was, survs will report any killer they don't like anyway.

Survs are huge flamers, they victimize themselves all day whenever the killer is toxic or not, this is NEVER ENDING !

This is why i absolutely don't care about their complains, big bunch of hypocrites.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3137776#Comment_3137776

I avoid camping and tunneling in most cases, but there are very valid times where each is useful.

I recently camped 2 people out mid game. We were on Ironworks map. There were a total of 4 gens near the building. They needed 2 gens still. The one inside the building was 50%. I downed a survivor and hooked him inside the building. As I was backing away, another survivor went for the rescue in front of me. I literally took one step back and they ran up. I hit them and they went for it. I had 6 stacks of STBFL and downed them. Hooked them outside near another gen. I now have 4 gens and 2 people hooked in a spot where I can see each gen with a tight patrol.

Explain to me why I should not camp these 2 out? They are on 2nd hook and the setup lends to me being able to protect 4 gens. I would be dumb to leave that. Yet you claim there is no reason to camp ever. Should I take their fun into consideration? Are they going to consider mine if they blast out 5 gens in record time? More like they will sit at the gates trying to mock me.

No side has the high morale ground in this discussion.

I agree 100% with what you said, it's pure honesty.

You said something about our fun, and you're right, i think they never consider this. Also, maybe it's a good thing to remember WE are the bad guys here, survs have their mind set who is altruism, survive, flee. And we have our mind set who is to make survs suffer, be sadistic, trapping you, killing you.

We are on oposite side, our goals are totaly different, don't ask a killer to be altrusitic, this is non-sense, we are just going to be sadist.

I have a sample for you, in a game, there was 3 survs in life, there was just one last gen, and they were always going for the same, in was never ending an annoying, obssession was still in life and i got rancor, this was the one on the gen. I was like "hmmm...i wonder if..." so i did'nt moved, i lloked at claudette, she looked at me, i didn't hie the gen, juste hinting her to do it. She came to do it after hesitation and felix came too, gen ding fast, claudette was the first to run, but my plan was to catch her, hook her and bait the two others while i camp her, it worked, she was the only one to escape.

Honests killers perfectly know that tunneling and camping can be good at some moments and perfectly useless at others, camping a surv in early/mid game is not worth except for some exceptions, but is totaly worth end game, and it's worth because you are altruistic.

When i played surv a little, more i was egoist, more my escape rate was good, because as a main killer, i perfectly know what kill survs.

Sometimes, survs talk about "the book of survivors" guys, we are killers, we don't care.

  • Hag is my main, so when i want to play very serious, i take her, but this past months were so not kind to her that i barely play her anymore, i explain, hag mains will understand;

    • Artist map is HUGE and worst is you can't hide traps, ground is too clear and clean.
    • The rework of the game (saw map), ground is too clear and clean too, was a very cool map before rework but not now.
    • The rework of myers map, this map is fkin way too HUGE !

They should give us less visible traps, at least on the clearer maps. Too easy to counter by survs. It broke the hag gameplay.

My fun killer is nemesis, easy and fun to play and i can run my endgame build with him because with best for the end, i don't have to hit M1 the obssession.

I thought prime gaming stuff was meant to be exclusive in-game content. Was no one bothered enough to create a new outfit for this month that you had to dive into a rift and take an outfit from it????

idk just kinda a weird decision by bhvr, I wish they would actually make new outfits specifically for prime gaming. We got Artist's green raritys and haddie's green rarity that should have been in the store with them when they first launched, and now we got a recycled rift outfit.

Sorry to those looking forward to a new fit this month and get nothing. Especially those who have been paying for prime specifically for dbd skins and get their money wasted this month.

If they Devs made it base game it would be the same thing, the killer would know what's happening. Survivors just hang around the hook until the killer leaves and chases the survivor doing gens.

So stay and lose pressure or leave and lose pressure. Win Win right?

If it go base kit, it's a HUGE buff for survs and also a HUGE nerf for killers, because this mean camping in end game is no longer viable, this mean killer in end game is no longer viable.

You don't realize how powerful it is.

  • @feffrey said:

They need to focus a more effective way to deal with camping killers for instance longer time on hook or allow the hook to break if the killer is near by.

I would like to see a perk that blocks killers hooks too .. but takes time to set up

    @Dwight_Fairfield said:

A combo of solo queue being worse than ever and camping and tunneling being easier than before.

I really don't get why camping and tunneling are easier, you got a base kit borrow time and speed boost, it's not nothing and counter tunneling, plus, you still have DS if it's a true tunnel.

But i think of something, you say it's easier to do that since the big patch, but nothing on killer get changed to incite them to do this, exept the change done do thanato a little farther, but it's really not enough.

So i got a suposition; killers queue are longer, this mean two things, ther is less survs and more killers, maybe it's just survs who start to play killers but play like they played survs (toxic) ? A bully will be a bully you know ?

And anyway, as i said most times, you feel way too much tunneled and camped even if it's hazardous or legitimate in some ways. So i don't really take the sayings of survs as true on this.

  • @feffrey said:

What else do you want? You've end game collapse you can chase them out you can keep trying to hook them? Like what more can you ask for at end game? For survivors to insta die the moment the gates open?

If you talk to me, i don't get why you say that. All i just say is a risk/reward question, the risk of moving at end game if you already got a surv on hook is too high, it take little time to open the doors, and there is two. So, best is to camp at this moment. The surv on hook act as a bait, if others come to save him, it will cost them something, if they flee, they win.

  • @dictep said:

Reassurance is a big buff for non camper killers. Every surv will use it, doc 25% less perks for survs during the match

i really hardly think it will be this much used, or if it is, i think it's mostly useless OR cancerous, yeah, can be on two extreme sides in his actual form, this is why it need to be limited in some sort.

    @drsoontm said:

I can't believe how dumb some players are. It's like they have no idea how a killer plays or even perceives the environment.

Yet, their prestige is ten or above.

The only thing I can imagine to explain that is they simply don't play killer, or not enough to understand. And if true, it makes sense that they have more problems with killers that are more difficult to use.

The thing i agree here is the fact survs never/or barely played killer, so they don't get our problems, plot twist is you have a better vision of the game as a killer because of the management you have to do and the fact you are alone. Survs think it's hard to play right now, bruh, main killers laugh at this.

Unfortunately thats been the killer experience for years now. It's the reason I started playing survivor because I could have a decent game and not have to go full sweat. I definitely find a bit more sweaty but that has also caused killer play to go back to sweat or 4 out.

Survivors are generally running gen speed builds which makes gens go fast which makes killers run slowdown. I'm not saying Survivors started it but I've definitely noticed and increase in gen speed builds in most my survivor and killer games.

    Thanks bro, good résumé.

From my experience, i mostly not run slow build, slow builds are good when you start to down surv in early and then continously. But it cost you chase perks. Plus i got traumatized this last years, being utterly destroyed because i got only slow perks to got time, but it didn't worked because mostly "goods" swf, i say "good" like this because seeing the same 4 perks op build is questionable about your skill (the infamous DH/DS/borrow/unbreakable).

Plus i got a way too much tilted about the high toxicity in end game by survs. So, i builded a end game build and i prefer keep it on some killers.

This is somewhat weird, survs should just exit, but no, even when door is open, they wait at exit to t bag you, man, this is why you deserve what the killers do to you.

I wondered for a long time "who started the toxicity ? who is the most toxic ?" Answer is survs, no doubt. It's like you can't just play normally, no, you feel forced to taunt/bully the killer all time. And you dare to ask us to not camp/not tunnel/etc ? U mad bro, i was mostly kind for a long time, but YOUR attitude put me in a "total no mercy", i always got insulted in tchat anyway, kind or not, it change absolutely nothing.

It is actually different for Killers. Killers have a wide variety of perks they can use and still play effectively. Think about it, Killers have built in tunneling and built in face camping from level 1. Survivors have no built in counters for face-camping so you need to bring in Reassurance (now that survivors finally got a counter to face-camping). Survivors have no built in counters to tunneling, so they have to bring in OTR. You have a little bit of variety with exhaustion perks, which you pretty much have to bring in also.

Killers don't have to bring in anything. I can play killer just fine with or without slow-down perks. It's just how easy I want the game to be. But I'll still get at least a 2k on average. The same can't be said for survivor.

If I wanted to play a mad grit, starstruck, agitation build, I can totally play that and still feel like I can win the game. It's just not true of survivor.

If i agree with you, this mean i agree to say that survs can do nothing without op perks, and killer got easy life...this is ridiculous.

First, i played vs enough good survs to know that a good surv don't need any perk to make you run a lot, and i truly mean a lot.

Plus, you now got a base kit borrow time, and face camp is easily counterable, if it's really a face camp, you can just do gens, or go at 2 or 3 survs to help.

Also, i did enough games post-patch to know that survs can still do gens and flee easily for the good ones. Maps offerings were already a usual, this didn't changed, and the two last maps are not fun to play on as killer, the artist one is way too huge, and the dredge one got a way too strong loop in main building who miss a breakable wall between the windows.

Survs now need to play better, and killers can finaly have fun without being in a endless suffering from bullying. end of story

  • You can hit through a window if your vault animation is not ended, you can also hit through a window if you are too close to her.

Prove Thyself was already good before. It sure as heck is not better now, just more needed. I'd hate for it to be unjustly nerfed after having already been effectively nerfed by the added gen time. That would be very tone-deaf from BHVR.

PT was already strong before, yes. Buuuuuut now he is overtaken, this mean the perk is way more active, and the 10sec added certainly not justify this. One of the base idea of the patch was to slow down the gens because they were done too fast, if survs overtake PT, they will nerf it, for me, it's logical, because PT largely couter the 10sec.

iI also take in consideration that BHVR destroyed thanato, so if they are not hypocrits, they have to destroy PT.

Waiting for a Prove Thyself nerf next patch then

If it don't happen, this mean BHVR talk only about numbers when they want to. As a killer main, a nerf of circle and prove are necessary, cricle because it discourage of hitting multiple survs, and it's sad because i like to play like this, plus, it is way, way too much powerfull. And prove because, bruuuuuuh ! It's game breaking, for real, juste what the hell are these numbers ?! man, cut it by half at least !

Worst is they destroyed thanato and nerfed DMS, #########.

    It is.

2 Billy games, first game I have 4 Survivors with at least 4k hours each (4k, 5k, 5k, 5k to be precise). And the next game, I have: 1 private profile, 1 Survivor with 300 hours, one with 52 hours and one with 7 hours. I guess the latter group was an SWF, but still. This just shows how lenient the Matchmaking is.

And if it would not be so lenient, Killer queues would probably be longer than 7 minutes.

Matchmaking try to put you with same levels, but if he can't because queue too long, it put you with random group, end of story. Annnnnd if i got to have a choice, i prefer not play vs 4k hours survs.

  • There is a thing i don't get, survs complain about being "casuals who can't play", but here, i wonder where they were when i played before the patch, from my perspective "casuals" barely even existed.

This is why i have true doubts about them simply being "casuals".

Paradoxaly, after the patch, i seem to effectively go against a way much casuals, wich is great ofc, more fun.

This make me conclude there isn't that much casuals, or there is a bunch BUT they got too much babysited with overpowerful perks.

Also, there is complains about "bruh, i need to choose the same perks to have a chance to escape, 50% of the survs perks are trash tier blahblahblah"

Dude, you REALLY think it's different for us killers ? that's exactly the same ! I plead for now years for a total rework of the perks system, there is a way too much perks, they multiply over time, and we are still at 4 perks slots, what's the point ? Having 3k perks, most of them being useless because not good enough or just because they are factualy useless ? but still 4slots ? I also plead for special slots reserved for hex, even if they nerf the hex, at least, loosing "hex perks" in less than 30sec is not going to be a huge concern anymore, and it offer more gameplay to survs and killers.

Just cut the number of perks by half by combining them, end of story.

The nice thing about perks like reassurance though, is you tend to get value from it even if no one is running it. Remember when DS was good? Killers always left you slugged or just straight up didn't attempt to tunnel. Good killers respect good perks even if no one in the game has it.

    As a end game killer camper, because no other ways you know ? I absolutely don't care about this perk, for most reasons;

    • mostly of the time, i got an endgame build (rancor, best for the end, forced penance and a variable utility perk), i usually have my 8 stacks on bfte, the obssession don't even dare to show up or only to taunt me, but i don't budge, i am patient, so it don't work, funnier is when i also got bloodwarden. Be assured i WILL got one of them, altrusim is just the worse idea ever when i run this build, it happened tons of times i got like 5 or more free hooks and 1-4 kills for free at endgame. I play mostly normal in the game, but chill, and at end, survs think i am a noob, they feel overconfident and i destroy them freely because i builded my stacks strategicaly, knowing i can hit the obssession with nemesis and demogorgon without loosing stacks btw. I, most of the time, got insulted in end game tchat, and it happen some times they flame eachothers, they are just tilted because they thought it was going to be an easy win, but nope.
    • The new perk from wesker is better than forced penance and is a real threat for you, force you to open the gates sooner.
    • I am very, very patient.

But anyway, there should be a limit on this perk to not have obvious abuses by SWF.

  • Survs could play heavily safer before patch, now it changed. Worse of it is they think it's abnormal changes...

So survs leave the side of survs, but like i said on another thread, as a main killer, i prefer longer queues and have fun than being bullied and humiliated by OP survs.

Yep. If only more people would play both roles. We wouldn't have as much stupid posts around here.

Bruh, i can put whatever you want on table, killers main largely prefer waiting a little more and have fun, than waiting little and get humiliated.

Survs don't realize the abyss between the skillcap of killers and survs, when survs tells the killer to play better, the killer already play 4 times better than them, plus he loss 2 litters of water by sweating to get 1 surv.

Now, the skillcap got balanced, the killer still need to play better then survs, but now, survs are asked to play better by BHVR. You will sweat more, we will sweat less, deserved.

All behavior did, was balance the game. If killers have to sweat, then so do survivors now. If survivors can have relaxing matches, then so do killers. Thats not a bad thing, that it evened out.

Calling this forum a killer main forum is just... bad sports.

Thanks bro, you got the idea, survivors played well too relaxed, this is the crucial point, if survs can "basically" bully you, and it's freakin hell to catch one, this mean surv are too strong and killer too weak.

But because it's been 6 years surv sided, survs think it was normal to play like this when killers were living hell. Now that survs actually need to play better without heavy assist, i will say it "survive" in a "survival" game, they complain. But the situation before this patch was everything but normal ! Yhere was times i just stoped playing for months because it was hell to play killer, fun was dead. But now, it's more balanced, it's very less frustrating and tilting. I still play casualy, but at least, it's fun. It's still not easy (sometimes it is), but the difficulty got down in a good way.

The fact is, survs are babysited by BHVR, mostly because they sell a tons of skin to them, this is the first time in 6 years they actually did something to actually balance the game, this word "balance" is important, killers didn't get "so much buffed", nonono.

And, as a guy said upper, the game is anyway harder for killer, it's 1v4 dudes !

  • I don't get it, why this much complain about nurse right now ? I don't play her, but i don't remember they changed something on her in the last big patch ?

  • I play in borderless, i got the sounds when not on dbd window.

It is not about winning. It is about a normal fun game. Now with no defense mechanism left for solo when you are targeted, or you have anti-mates it is pretty damn annoying.

Ah complaining about DH nerf i see, you don't seem to realize how much of a pain it was for killers, same for the DS abuse at end game.

Yes, the game is harder for survs, and yes, it was needed, as a killer who wanted to have fun playing, this mean not being humiliated in a trial because of over OP swf full meta perks being toxic as hell. Now that there is these two nerfs, i assure you that survs play safer and are way less bullying, this mean they are less toxic.

As a survivor, you didn't experienced hell on DbD, i can assure you. But EVEN with these nerfs, you are still not living in hell, you are far from it.

Right now, you just have to play better, the game is actually more balanced than it ever was, even if some maps are absolutely disastrous because too huge or too much god pallets (because not randomized).

Survivor action icons would raise 2-SWF and 3-SWF closer to the level of 4-SWF. This would raise the escape rate of 2-SWF and 3-SWF.

You know that the last big patch was about the fact kill rates were too low ? Just a remember uh.

  • As a main killer, i saw enough occurences to know that tunneling can be a very good strategy, but not neccessary on most games imo, let me explain;

    • First, a game is more manageable with a 3v1, killer time is always counted, not the reverse (exceptions don't count), so when there is an obvious weak one in a swf with 3 strong, tunneling the weak is the most efficient way ton injure the others and put a huge pressure, because the 3 others will come to help and take hits, so they don't do gens. You don't even have to necessary follow the weak all game, but if you saw him, go for it, it's free hits and possibly free downs.

Knowing it happen that a surv is so much hard to catch (and toxic) that when you catch him, you face camp and tunnel him. It's like he asked himself to be killed. And be assured i have no mercy, if there is 1 thing i learned from this game, it's to have no mercy, survs don't have any, they t bag, open exit but don't exit and taunt you, clic clic, just, die.

  • Hawkins miss me so much...maps, especially the newests(and gas station) and the rework of the myers one are cancer, they are WAY TOO HUGE.

Hawkins is a chad map, i miss u my sweet...

Also, i hate devs for doing mostly huge exteriors map. Remember the pre rework crotus ? oh my god, you knew you just lose when you played killer on this map. It's the same with the lampkin actually.

Oh yeah hopefully they fix him rather than doing what they did to twins.. Jesus why they broke twins legs without any sort of quality of life adjustment or anything to compensate i'll never know.

I wonder about the twins, because they were absolutely fun to play at release, but they are now just bad, there is a thing i hate on them, it's the distance from a hooked surv, the thing who do not let you swap to viktor if you are too close to the hook, this is absolutely breaking the flow of your gameplay, you are just stupidly blocked...the distance is too huge.

Also, the fact viktor just block the closet and don't damage, it's a loss of time, there is simply too much loss of time in this killer, they nerfed him a way too much, and the "anti camping measure" is just heavily punitive.

There is also a thing who i think is broken, survs can kill viktor even if your jump regen is done, it not act like when a killer do a grab and surv cancel, so it cancel grab, this is punitive.

Well, yeah, this is the thing on twins, a way too much time costly action, too little reward, mostly punitive, so yea, explain the 1.15% pick rate.

It's sad, because they were fun.
