If they are baby killers or new players, they are not even gonna know how to swing properly, you are just getting steamrolled and coping 🤠

This is an examination in a vacuum, not in practice.
nope, it's literally tested over 80 hours of gameplay lol

THIS is so annoying. I will no longer unhook until you stop. I am an Altruistic 'we'll make it' user but I am done with this crap.
I have Kindred on, I see you and the killer. I will decide when it is safe to save you and by the way, if you're waving your arms when you see me Sprinting to save you, I'm turning around.
There is a unhook delay for your rescuer when you do that animation so knock it off or die in 1st hook.
And the annoying "uh uh uh uh uh" sounds you make, especially Rebecca, are enough to send ya, they really are.
That is all.
im gonna do it even more now

Having more rushes comboed with the crow addon makes him better than double speed, merely talking aout probability, you have two more chances to get a hit thanks to the 7 rushes, instead of 5
-
I wouldn't even have wasted the time to think about it, people like that do it only to get under your nerves, he was just pressing you
-
it is not toxic, just as I want to win in monopoly, i want to win in Dead By Daylight.
The important thing is being of good sports in endgame chat
-
The matchmaking is fine the way it is.
Sbmm can be weird sometimes, but it is working as intended, you have a hidden score system.

why would it be bannable, they hardly ban cheaters lol

What about no?

????
What?
The argument here is that a killer can down a survivor and during the time it takes the killer to wipe their weapon another survivor instaheals the downed and both then can run away with endurance.
Why the heck should the killer leave those two and chase someone else? And where is this tunneling if this is the first down for that survivor for example, which my comment was aimed at?
pressed lol

I guess Enduring (?), but nothing much more

Yay, up to the next loop and a reset chase 👍
chase someone else then?

the killer doesn't have to pan his camera so he can look behind him while he runs the loop
i don't care if they want to make the loops harder but it's inconsistent as #########
sometimes a ######### crate just spawns on an l wall for legit no reason literally the most anonying ######### ever

you have to account for objects around loops, the killer can get stuck there as much as you

You´re the killer, you chase someone for 30 seconds, it cost to you 1 or maybe 2 gens then you down the survivor.
BAW! Another survivor appear right in front of you and now you don´t have your hook and 2 survivors are invulnerable for 10 seconds, time enought to reach another loop with a strong window or a strong pallet and make you waste more time.
What´s the point of that? How you can counter that? How many times it will occur during the match? There is NO COUNTER PLAY against that!
Killers don´t being rewared for wining a chase is so ridiculous.
just wait it out

bro, grades literally don't matter, the game has sbmm 😅

This thing is just obnoxious to go against, it straight up allows him to ignore the way you counter him and its almost impossible to react in time to dodge it due to how fast he moves.
Doesnt help that he has some of the most stupidly OP addons in the game, but at least those are getting patched as far as im aware.
Bounce logic Blight is a lot stronger than a Hug Teching Blight, I much rather have a lot of fun with a blight going for flicks than a Blight with Crow+Adrenaline Vial that uses Bounce Logic.
After you play against him for a lot of hours and actually invest time playing as him, you will see what I'm talking about

I can see why people don't really like her... it's a bit of a Knight 2.0
-
same with feng's chinese year shirt
-
If you feel like you are not too confident to play in a loop against her, the greatest choice is to predrop, even if she gets bloodlust, you are gonna be wasting so much of her time, that it's gonna be hard for her to win.
-
From what I know all the windows in the game have counterplay, while some of them might be insanely strong, you can mostly break the doors.
If you are still having problems and don't want to play with the entity blocker, you can ring bamboozle and it'll be disabled for 16 seconds.
-
They got fixed with a patch before this one, and the distance for female and male has been corrected, so that female survivors get the same distance after a vault.
-
I play all killers (including Mr. Trapper), but i find Oni the most fun for me
-
If the unhooked survivor is ready to take aggro, he has to expect a tunnel coming his way.
When they take hits for the hooking survivor with OTR, I just hit them, and if they keep going or wanting aggro, you can just give them the tunnel.
I know it's probably not nice, and I dont condone tunneling, but sometimes you just have to play scummy with "scummy" players.
-
I honestly use it a lot, even if I'm not entirely sure it actually does something.
I agree that it should give a notification to the person you gave the props, cause this way it feels really underwhelming.

Looks like lag switching to me.
I'm with you on this one, usually normal lag doesn't move you in such a precise location, usually in dedicated server environments you just start doing the animation of walking, but never skipping your position.
Might be a "rare" case tho, anyhow for the fellow poster, usually you know in advance if a lobby is lagging, so you can dodge it.

While playing games, you may have experienced strangely fast Gen speeds at times.
It is not an illusion or a cheat.
If there is someone who has a tool box, it is worth being suspicious.
There is a serious error in the current Toolbox.
How to use this error
After receiving the tool box as a gift
When the tool box has used all its durability, keep turning it without removing your hand from Gen.
And when the person next to you uses ‘Gesture 2’
When an error occurs, the tool box's durability becomes infinite.
This method can be used continuously if you have the means to restore tool box durability.
Some people may be aware of this error.
However, I feel like it has never been addressed, so I am posting it like this.
Well then good luck.
Thank you for addressing this issue, may you please give a video of this glitch so devs can look into it?
I haven't really noticed this in my games, and I've tried this in Customs with competent survivors and didn't get it a single time.
If you were able to replicate it or give evidence I'd help you reporting it to get it fixed.
Kindly.

Please share some of your DC Bot experiences.

Dont' worry, I have a 3090 and sometimes i cant get the full 120 fps, I think it's because the game was intentionally made to be capped at 60 so sometimes you get those problems

Before the nerf, he was balanced but now, after you nerfed xeno, he's a pile of dogshit. You have two options: revert the nerf or give me my money back through refund. Your choice. If you don't, there is a third option; sueing your company for scamming your customers.
Hi,
I just want to say that first of all, they don't owe you money in the first place, and second of all, if you read the ToS you are going to see that Developers, being the license-holders of the killers you "buy", are able to perform any changes they want to a chapter, and that you are eligible to a refund only in extreme specific situation, in which, a nerf doesn't reside.
I know Xenomorph nerf doesn't feel nice as before to play, but if the game makes you so tilted, to the point where you start attacking someone, maybe you should seek help.
Kindly, Cecio.

How to run on linux?
From what I've understand, NOT all versions of Linux work with DbD.
I bought the game for a friend of mine that has the Mint Version and it ain't working at all.
If you have versions as Ubuntu or Arch, I'm sure it will work.
To install it and launch it you can just do all the common procedures to enable steam on the OS and then install the game.

Bro you just dropped the best post of the year: detailed, precise and well written.

Traverses the map faster than most killers (while undetectable), and gets a huge speed boost everytime he uncloaks, and the drawback of the time it takes having to uncloak/cloak is negligible. Add on to that camping and exposed perks like make your choice or pallet shredding with brutal strength he just mows through resources with ease, if you can even get to them without being bodyblocked. Since lightburn is gone now there needs to be something else to his counterplay because unless you have a really good group of vault tiles he's unstoppable. Maybe remove collision when he's cloaked or increase the time it takes to switch between cloak/uncloak.
I'd rather play against Spirit at this point.
Ain't no way a Wraith hate post ☠️
Try playing against Knight and Skull Merchant ☠️

I mean to be fair, the map was awful and the build was trash.
I know that it shows that casual gameplay is hard nowadays, but at the same time I don't think you should expect to win with that.
Clown can be a pretty good killer with the right addons and perks combinations, but yeah, I agree on the fact that it is a bit of a sweatfest recently.

hello I just wanted to ask if the devs ever mentioned anything about a map for All-Kill?
I just wanna know if someone ever asked the same question and got an answer? :-)
As much as I know, the map for the All-Kill (Trickster Chapter) has not really been planned yet, there was a big hype and we might get it since the realm reworks are pretty much done
I wouldn't count on getting these kind of new maps any time soon, since their priorities are focused on other things at the moment.
Hope this helped :)

2016-2017 I would say? Curious how many of us are out there lol game changed a lot....
Being playing constantly since late 2017, my love for this game never changed a bit.
It has his problems, but nowadays is at its best in my opinion.
I'm not one of those vets that want the "old-dbd", even tho the nostalgia factor is huge, the game wasn't balanced and it used to break pretty often.

I swear, the color palette of the game even in early 2019 was just something else.

Not going to lie kinda sick of artist playing survivor its just been one after another and well there's barely any flavor happening the match goes as usual face a high skill artist, die and repeat. I wouldn't mind at least another killer to go against I think I played about 15 games tonight(mostly because I kept dying on hook) and about three were other killers two of which were Signularitys but I mean at least they had some diversity it's just been artist and well I kinda am sick of it. I get artist is rare at times to face but I mean come on can I just have one or two matches facing someone else? It's been just getting hit with ink(which I have to question how Ink can hurt you?)
You know what I do wanna know how Ink can hurt you. Because it's been shown that Artist's weapon is somewhat a liquid just using a force to hold it in place when she hits someone or the hair it goes into a more water like form so just how does her weapon hurt survivors?
A high liquid mass, either water or even ink, depending on their density and impact force (that causes the liquid to be more compact on impact) will in fact, harm you.
It's the same concept for when you dive from a high cliff and instead of falling with your toes you land on your stomach.
Surface area is also a very important factor, the more the surface the bigger the liquid becomes sort of like a wall.
Btw ye, it's a bit boring whenever you face the same killer, but at least it wasn't skull merchant.

Hello all, i see a lot of confusion going around with how the new sadako is being received. either shes really strong, really weak, balanced, etc. and i just wanted to help everybody understand how to counter the new sadako as she works entirely different now then how she did before. This guide should also help players perspectives on her current state of balance too! Without further ado, lets get into it.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/0Y3MMFTHONQJ/image.png
Cursed Tapes
The most common issue players are having right now is her cursed tapes. everybody is complaining of the fact that they are getting condemned WAY faster than before, in which i have to say, thats why the rework happened. the rework was supposed to make condemned become faster to apply so survivors would have to interact with her power more often. the best way to counter her cursed tapes is to simply, at the start of a trial, just grab a tape from a turned on tv. i know what you may be thinking, "oreoslurpee, why would i take a tape if its cursed and apart of what makes her stronger?" well i will tell you my friend, it quite actually works as a protection for survivors.
the change the developers have made is where Projection (the power where she travels through a TV) grants 3/4ths (0.75 stacks) of condemned to every survivor on the map. meaning Condemn from a TV covers 188 square tiles of a map aka globally. theres also a change implemented Post-PTB where if your holding a tape and sadako hits you, it breaks the tape instantly and you receive 2 whole stacks of condemn. however, it comes with a HUGE downside. if you hold a tape, you will quite literally NEVER receive condemn stacks unless you put the tape back in a TV or if you get hit, and you no longer passively gain condemn. you should almost always retrieve a tape from a TV at the start of a trial since sadako cannot use her power for about 30 seconds at the beginning of a trial, and since you have a tape, you are protected from receiving condemned.
Also a quick note to add for players who might not know this, you CANNOT retrieve a cursed tape from a turned off TV.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/458UIKL1AHFJ/image.png
Manifestation
A Manifested sadako is just a normal M1 killer as any other M1 killer could be, she doesn't have any special anti-loop mechanics, and actually the recent nerf to Reiko's Watch has nerfed her chase potential by a long mile! There's not much to counter Manifest as all you have to do is loop her, but De-Manifest is something thats very much counterable.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/86BX10E3S66T/image.png
De-Manifestation
A De-Manifested Sadako is VERY easy to counter, as she cannot hit you. However, be cautious of her at least a tiny bit as she CAN phase through you and trick you! But while shes De-Manifested, shes awfully weak. Not many players know this, but she has something called a Lullaby, there are a few Killers who have this who consist of The Huntress, The Nightmare, and The Trickster. A Lullaby, simply put, is the quiet melody you hear when the killer is near, but not yet in their terror radius yet. in De-Manifestation, Sadako doesn't have a terror radius but instead has a Lullaby, which for players like me that use the heartbeat visual in the Accessibility options, it puts a red cloud with a black center of your character indicating the killer is near. This completely nullifies Sadako as a Stealth killer as other Stealth killers don't have a Lullaby. The Stealth killers are consisting of The Ghostface, The Shape, The Onyro, The Shape, The Wraith and The Pig. Everybody in that list besides The Onyro don't have lullabies because a Lullaby on a Stealth killer makes no sense right? as it would alert the survivors of where the killer is? yeah i dont know why sadako has one since shes supposed to be a Stealth killer, but use it to your advantage so you can gain knowledge on if shes near you!
Also take into notice now that she both loses bloodlust and she cant be stunned by a pallet in De-Manifest!!!! If she loses bloodlust, she loses all that chase potential she could've had against you so use it to your advantage to go to another loop since whenever she is in the process of Manifesting or De-Manifesting, she gets slowed to a speed of 3.68m/s down from her normal 4.6. its also funny how her phasing makes her slower than the nurse, but thats a topic for a different day. Since she can't be stunned while De-Manifested, and she moves slower while phasing, you should almost never drop a pallet on her even if she seems close. You should wait until she becomes Manifested, in which she can be stunned again. Use loops to your advantage against her as the sadako player would most likely be trying to use mind games with her power.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/Q8VC3XNU9KC6/image.png
Projection
The recent changes to Projection actually make her map pressure quite better since she can apply condemn to survivors globally, if they aren't holding tapes. her TV's turned off by Projection turn back on after 45 seconds have passed, and if you put a tape in a TV it turns off that TV for a duration of 70 seconds instead. Projection now also puts her TV Travel on a 10 second cooldown, so make sure to count down in your head every time she teleports! Also, a good note to pass by is that a turned on TV usually has a screen of static. That changes to the glitchy faces survivors see because the TVs change to that whenever a survivor is near the TV, giving the Sadako player free information on if a survivor is near her.
Besides that, there's not much to say about Projection really, but make sure to keep ahold of a cursed tape so you don't receive global condemn!!
That is how you counter the new Onyro for players who are still having trouble going against her, I really hope this helps people understand going against her better!
Thank you very much for this guide, I think it really sums up the concept and the changes while being extremely easy to read and understand.
Thank you for your time and help! <3

Idk why no one uses repressed alliance, personally I get so much value out of it for example usually I’m abt 20 seconds away from finishing a gen and killer starts chasing me just block and go back to it later, or someone else can finish it without it being regressed idk what all this is abt “hurting the team” like it’s 40 seconds chances are killer will come back to kick it and it’s still blocked.
Ye, overall good perk in my opinion, people just dont know how to use it properly.

Like why I can't play any of the weaker killers against this horribly made perk and yet is gonna last longer than undying did
Can't play clown because bottles are less effective
can't play pig because there no anti loop
can't play pluage because they want to be injured
If you miss 1 shot as deathslinger your never catching them
Can't play doc because they are faster Tham you when charging shock
Can't even play Knight because they are faster than the guards.
I guess it's balanced though then I wonder why everyone playing wesker because he's one of the few that can deal with this bs
I have to be completely honest... Made For This is a strong perk, but it doesn't detract so much if you are a good player... 3% or not, if you miss the shot with DeathSlinger, Made for This aint gonna change the fact that you missed; same for the other killers.
If you have trouble in a chase maybe just get a hit and leave that survivor, try to catch the others sitting on gens and splitting the pressure. Don't be discouraged if the first couple of gens pop quickly, because in early game is difficult to build decent pressure.
But please, do not attribute your losses to just a single perk, because Dbd revolves around an insane amount of factors, since its RNG based nature.
I do agree tho that the perks per se might need to be tweaked, at least removing the endurance effect or something else.

OMG, I want to absolutely thank all of you guys for the kind answers you gave under this thread.
I seriously appreciate each of one you for maintaining this a safe space, since I really love this game even with all his flaws, as much as all of you guys.
I needed this because I'm trying to improve myself at the game and bring positive feedback in the community, so really from the deepest of my heart, thanks to everyone who partecipated and to who's still giving his thoughts.
I'm trying to keep this format for each update so we can all work on to make the game a better place!
Super kisses to everyone <3

I do not understand why tunneling and facecamping is not considered "taking the game hostage".. I paid for this game to actually be able to play.. Not to be tunneled out of every other match before I get to even touch a gen, or get facecamped the entire match , provide the killer with points while being beaten repeadetly on hook and get almost no BP for the "trouble".
I have very limited time to play between work and family-life and having to waste so much time on being held hostage on hook or being tunneled out of the game just to wait 5-10 mins for it to happen again is simply not acceptable. People are paying for a game they are being denied to play in way too many matches and I really don't understand this is considered a "valid strategy"? If it was only a match here and there I would be okay with it, but it's more common than not . I can't speak for the American servers, but on the EU servers, it's really really bad.
"We tunnel and camp cause we get genrushed".. No.. you tunnel and camp cause it's easy and the points makes it worth it. Almost every killer starts hardcore tunneling and facecamping at 5 gens.. before they even know what kind of team they are dealing with. I think there is a difference between camping and tunneling towards the end-game if you have a hard time keeping pressure, and I understand that it can be neccesary to keep the last gens from popping.. But if the team is down to 3 survivors after one gen the balance is no longer fair, especially in solo que.
Killers are always complaing about SWF, but it's the only option to counter the camping and tunneling.. I have been playing Solo Survivor my entire DBD career and I find myself playing killer more and more often to actually be able to play the game and for the first time I find myself searching online for SWF to play with, cause I get tired of people not doing gens while I get camped or loop the killer.. Is killing solo que entirely really the goal here DEVS? Cause it's beginning to look like it's where we are heading.
Try perks such as decisive, Off the record and Adrenaline.
If it doesnt work, just git gud
