yeah, nvm, it's not like it at all, read the entire description.

League's system is basically: give "props" to a single player on your team at end-of-match, based on these you gain "Honor" ranks over the season, which give some progression based rewards with some flair as well.

Oh ok. Yeah, i just want to give the killer mad props for kicking my teeth in while not being jerk.

  • Its based on your teams effort too. Which is the stupidest idea ive seen, tied with dedicated servers with P2P coding.

  • @[Deleted User] said:

So, a similar feature to the Honor system in League of Legends?

Never played League. So I honestly don't know what youre referring to.

I really like the blood vial idea so I can reward killers that don't camp, slug or tunnel.

I would really like this just so we can try to promote a better community by playstyles and less DCs. Kind of inspired by the LITF tournament for Puppers this last weekend.

  • But you look at the flavor text on half the perks and its full of words the game censors in chat. Extra coding for no reason.

if they fail the skill check then you got them.

since when do good survivors fail skill checks anyways?

Good question, i find myself constantly nailing Overcharge SCs when i'm running LOL

  • I dont see a suggestion to fix it at all, just a complaint. Like 97% of all threads complaining, its either just crying about something or theres a suggestion so lazy it qualifies for welfare.

What do you want to do about it? you change DH, you have to change No Mither. Because then trying to get David's adept would be just a trash achievement. I firmly believe you guys are complaining over the latest stats. Where was all this complaining when DS had a target on its back for the last 3 years, more than half the game's lifespan?

People call anything that they think is an unfair advantage, cheating. The forum is filled with this type of thread. Maybe partake in some critical thinking and hash out a suggestion that balances it. Because while I do NOT use exhaustion perks(unless it calls for it in a rift challenge), I fully see the use and point of Dead Hard. Granted, when I started you could actually use the perk properly and not just sit on the floor exhausted like a Labrador after playing in the park :\

  • @That_One_Friend said:

Sounds amazing! Just, I dont think there should be a rank requirement to send blood vials.

Not player rank, but Player Level. You have to just play the game. I was at close to 2k hours before they introduced player levels and I want to give new players incentive to stay, play, and earn. The Rift/Tomb and Dailies(i haven't had a survivor daily in 2 months, thx BHVR) don't do enough to earn, especially when you are newer to the game.

Also the requirement is so people can't just make new accounts to spam something like this. There will always be people who will find a way to abuse. I would also like to clarify, that's just for sending them. You can receive them at any time at any player level.

  • Please ... And whatever the Entity eats that you haven't used when you presto, is refunded by 1/4 its original value.

  • Like others have said. hitboxes are fine. Servers are not.

  • Too bad theres a million reasons to unhook in front of the killer, while not intending to be toxic. Most all cases involve a tunnel/camping killer. 75% of games when I play solo involve them. Might not be anyone elses stat but its a cancer.

  • @GrimoireWeiss said:

I freaking loved these ideas. You have my upvote my man.

Its appreciated. I just really want a reason to stay in the game after having been farmed by my teammate and the killer rampantly kicking my teeth in :)

  • i sorta tend to go on the ranking system, as other people have mentioned. But I aim for 20-32k for BP, since that is literally ALL that matters in this game because earning BP earns shards, which all go towards leveling and getting perks.

  • @Viktor1853 said:

but why bbq you do know that it helps to prevent camping right

Yeah nobody uses it to prevent camping. They use it for the BP boost to killers that already have an insane farming rate. Because the community is toxic.

Yeah exactly, but the problem is I don't have the choice to NOT play with SWF because I have enough hours and experience to get enough points to reach red ranks in no time and I won't lose matches on purpose to go down to green ranks just to stomp unexperienced survivors. I think they should really consider at least some kind of debuff to SWF players because they are not playing the same game as solo survivors.

If they alienate one part of the player base it will literally kill the game. That is why they won't break up the queue. Instead, they need to buff solo, WAY more than it is currently with the small game change and Kindred. Changing perks to base kit would cause a massive rework on a bunch of perks, so thats not advisable.

Whenever the Killer attempts to read your Aura, Distortion activates:

    • Your Aura will not be shown to the Killer.

Distortion does not activate when you are in the Dying State or in a Killer Trap

I like it but add that your teammates cannot read your aura either. I feel that would balance your suggestion.

I hate to say it, but people still troll other players with Bond REALLY hard, esp SWFs with solo teammates. This would be a nice counter to it.

  • @C3Tooth said:

    @kisfenkin

when healing and Nurse's Calling triggers it, if the killer moves away and back again it uses multiple charges.

Is it true? I thought it only consume another charge if 10sec from a token is dropped.

The 10 seconds is the amount of time your aura is unreadable and you don't leave scratch marks. Not the cooldown. AFAIK Distortion does not have any cooldown. Undying eats all the charges.

If you pop a gen with a killer who has Bitter Murmur and they hook with BBQ around/at the same time, it will eat 2 tokens. Undying is fun but thats just broken. I literally bought Blight just for it but after seeing what it actually does, I feel dirty as hell for using it. You don't even need another hex perk to use it.

  • 90% of my rage issues come from the game combined with dedicated servers, if i'm going to be honest. i can be mad 50 ways to Sunday at that Wraith who hit me through a vault after i landed and activated lithe... but if i'm honest its all game side related

I'm sure they made bank with this Nemesis license(as well as paying for it). So, maybe they'll invest in better servers..... but servers aren't goig to help THAT much until they clean up the coding.

I also come from a generation who had to deal with packet loss when online gaming back in the reeeeeeally early 90s. I've been mentally traumatized by lag and their servers trigger me :)

I have noticed lots of red rank killers face camping & tunneling these days.

Am guessing that is probably due to the nerfing of anti tunneling perks so no survivor has DS anymore.

The devs seem to want to encourage more of the camp the hook playstyle.

My question is if you get a 4k but face-camp the whole game is that a pip now?

I feel like its the calm before the storm right now. They know there is an issue with people tunneling and camping for a variety of reasons. From the rainbow charm to shimmering survivors trying to unlock their character cosmetic. Its eventually going to be addressed, but the real question is when. They gave us Soul Guard to help against slugging... but its locked behind DLC. We have 1 off the hook anti-tunnel perk. The real use of DS now is to counter solo players hook farming you without BT. Which is my case anyway.

  • Nah I fully understand why anybody playing DBD rage quits, doesn't matter the frequency either. I firmly believe this anger is the cause of literally 80% of DCs. That extra 20% being split between first downs and crashes.

From being hit a mile and a half away from a window, to being looped for an eternity. Its not killer or survivor specific, though more DCs happen with survivors because there are more of them.

Unfortunately, the community is to blame. The dev has a hard time balancing between what everyone wants. Its like trying to play Santa Claus on a budget. I get it. But there ARE things they could have done sooner, and could do now that aren't changing much(ie: being hit through a pallet). Hell they even had a bug where swinging automatically meant you wouldn't get stunned.

DBD legit made me go download RE: Village. I wonder how much money DBD have caused its players to spend on other games out of either frustration or sheer giving up on it all together lol

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2351081#Comment_2351081

The main reason dead hard is so bad right now is how it is used to loop a killer for eternity. You say you will down the survivor in the next seconds. Wrong. Imagine: dead hard, safe pallet. Break the pallet, bloodlust denied. Start the chase again. Another safe loop, the survivor knows he cannot dead hard again, pallet wasting time. Now repeat this for every useful loop and you have a survivor staying alive enough time to let the rest of the team to finish gens in no time. Just a few killers can do an axception to this rule. The basic killers such as trapper, the wraith, etc. have no chance to beat this loop-fest. Of course if a bad survivor player uses it you are not losing a lot of time to get him again, but as a rank 1 killer I met a lot of players able to keep you busy enough time to prevent you to save the match. And I don't like the fact I need to play the same 3/4 viable killers to have a fair match.

Anyway I will use this thread to show another problem with the game. Most of the perks are useless compared to others on both sides. So we have the same lobbies with dead hards, ds, unbreakable, prove thyself, borrowed, and killers with pop, tinkerer, ruin and so on...

So to conclude the matches at least in red ranks are becoming really boring because of this.

Its a SWF problem. Rarely do i see folks at red ranks playing solo, dominating the killer like that. I watch plenty of rank 1 killer streams. I'm fully well aware what youre talking about too with the BS perks. I would love nothing more than more variety in games. Its why I don't play killer, as of late. Its the same SWF shenanigans with every group. It just changes slightly.

I'm not saying there's -nothing- wrong with Dead Hard. But i'm sick of looking on the forums and seeing the dumbest, laziest suggestions ever. And to be fair, red rank matches have been boring for YEARS. Its literally nothing new. Ive been red rank plenty of times. Theres no incentive to go that high unless you really want to sweat.

1st of all I contested his purpose cause it's unhealthy for the game (I already wrote why and I'm tired to say it again) 2nd i spook for experience, not only for seeing the image that devs release about the most used perks: i play in red ranks and the most common exhaustion perk is dead hard which bring us to my initial question: if it's so bad why it's the most used exhaustion perk? Everyone for some reason keep avoiding this question it seems... 3rd DS was less popular than dead hard for a couple of reasons: DS is behind a dlc, dead hard is free and it was sufficient a single DS for avoiding your entire team to be tunneled (cause obsession), now that the obsession is always present in a game tunneling is a gamble, but since it was nerfed people stopped to using it (at least the ones who use it outside of his purpose, doing generators in the killer's face and exploiting it while doing saves (for me it was never nerfed since I always use it for his purpose).

3rd I'm not a developer, mine was a simple suggestion. It isn't my job to create and modify perks

4th as you said you don't even play killer much often, so you probably faced survivors who use it badly. As I said before, bait it isn't a solution cause it works only aganist average survivors

Its your job as a player to give constructive feedback. Especially if you want to be vocal about the game in anyway regarding playing the game regardless of your role. Lazy suggestions make you look like you don't care about the health of the game like you so state that you do.

I don't play killer much often, as of late. I'm a year 1 player with several thousand hours in game.

I'm not avoiding anything. It used to be the best perk to avoid a hit. Now its to gain distance to extend the loop a few more seconds. As I stated, you act like DH is a spammable perk. You aren't playing around it. I'm waiting for you to post an constructive suggestion other than "change it pls". You are in the Feedback and SUGGESTIONS portion of the forum. You posted a lazy suggestion and I called you out for it. What more do you want?

Lots of things are unhealthy for the game. Literally, so much more than Dead Hard. As I stated, the stats are grouped from 5 years worth of play time, and should be taken with a ginormous grain of salt. Not a reason for you to go Super Saiyan 11 because you see a threat.

If its changed, then No Mither needs to be changed. Because No Mither needs that complimentary perk in David's 'kit'. They have no plans of changing No Mither, as far as i know. Now if you said repair a gen for x seconds instead of JUST being injured, i could understand that. Maybe do a totem. Hell, sabo a hook to get the killers attention as well as being injured. This way you have to prime the perk, instead of just getting punched in the face and then getting a free out. I would even accept be chased for a few seconds. DBD has so many prerequisites you could choose from.

  • @TragicSolitude said:

You're not wrong, but at least for this one you can change the key binding.

The one driving me absolutely nuts lately is that I'll be in the dying state trying to go through the hatch and the only option it wants to give me is Recover. I've had it take a good 5-10 seconds to get through the damn hatch just crawling around trying to get the correct button prompt to proc.

Ive been having this problem since they removed hatch standoffs and added the animation of crawling instead of jumping into it. I firmly believe its a problem because of the current animation and they need to widen the parameters of the hatch notification and give it absolute top priority.

You'd think these priorities would have been thought of and tested by the alpha testers before it even touches the PTB. It only makes sense.

  • Stomping on something to open it. Like squeezing toothpaste from a tube huh lol

This is a bad suggestion because you cannot grab survivors from the hatch anymore. If youre playing against survivors like me, your totems are all gone before the 2nd or 3rd generator unless you have Thrill. Even then. So NOED would be a situational combo. Youre basically giving survivors a free trip out because the Hatch can no longer be closed.

  • @McFALLENONE said:

Here's an easy solution, just add a little button on the side that allows survivors to bake cakes for 5,000 bloodpoints.

Welp im never gonna have bloodpoints again lol

If it's so bad I'll ask you again: why it's one of the most used perks? Especially in red ranks? Did you read what I wrote previously? I did valid examples about this perk and why it should be changed... And I'll say it again despite I already said it before: good people use it to gain distance and extent loops, not for avoiding hits...

lol Did you read what i said? "work as intended". Its also 2nd because those stats are taken from the games entirety. That image you probably saw? 2015-2020(iirc). As a whole. Since day 1. Before DS. Dedicated servers have been around less than half its life span. Since Dedicated Servers, extending loops is what its used for now. Using it normally typically gets you killed about 85% of the time.

Which begs another, BIGGER question. Why isn't DS up there if killers are just SO scared of it and it only got a recent(actual) nerf? Ive literally heard more people complain about DS and Sprint Burst than i have dead hard. Theres 4000 topics on "nerf ds".

You have no real suggestion for it... Blind the killer and get a speed boost? From a perk called Dead Hard? lol ok... Thats a lazy as hell suggestion. i have no choice but to assume youre just complaining about a perk that outplayed you on ONE killer(Trapper) or youre just trolling because youre bored. Unless you come with a proper suggestion, these are the reactions youre going to be met with.

Statistically, you need to complain about Lithe or Sprint Burst(Bloodpact?) since have more impact on distance versus the killer. DH is just situational and the survivor can wait to use it. That's the complaint here. People are just mad about getting outplayed at a one time use before a cooldown occurs. If they could spam it, I could see the complaint. Bait it out like everyone else does. You can't really bait out other exhaustion perks like you can DH.

Off Topic: But in all honesty when it comes to him, Trapper should not even be triggering his own traps. He's the only killer who can mess himself up with his own ability and it doesnt need to work that way. Period. I dont even play killer that much but that has never made a single bit of sense to me, then he's limited on trap placement at the beginning, relying on perks like Corrupt and Ruin to get started. I have a whole rant on why Trapper is DBDs poor abused step child, which we'll be here all day if i start.

  • No thanks on the decreasing skillcheck triggers. Anytime I use it I barely get skillchecks as it is. This would not be an improvement. The decreased odds would take precedence over the additional chance. Why? One example: It took them 2 years to change the stun check in their coding so you no longer get hit through pallets server side if there's a stun pending for the killer. Literally something we have been begging for since day 2 of dedicated servers. Took them 4 years to put a totem counter on Small Game, which was suggested an eon a go lol

  • In the current state of perks, maybe later. If they take my key change, then i already suggested one, as base kit. I'd link the suggestion but it was given to a fog whisperer, since BHVR doesn't take much that we say to heart. Because there's a LOT to weed through.

But to just have a Killer version of Left Behind is really a waste. Territorial Imperative would be less of a waste.

Considering DH is the worst Exhaustion perk in the game right now because of server instability, you are trippin. Hard. You will spend more time on the ground Exhausted than you will having the perk work as intended.

counterforce leads survivors straight from totem to totem… there’s no way a hex has a chance of staying up to be worthwhile.. so many tools given but survivors don’t want to use them.

I find what i need just fine with a map and/or small game. I don't have counterforce and dont see myself spending money on dlc for perks that are unneeded in the first place. I see counterforce as decently strong but its a temporary aura reading perk. Not like SG where it constantly pings until you find it, giving you a much better chance of breaking said totem. Especially when CF makes you cross map

Tired of trolling killers too. Don't act like one side is a bunch of angels. In fact, Solo players have it worse than killers because we have to deal with YOU AND SWF being jerks. Change my mind.

  • Bought Yun with shards.. leveled her from 1-50 i got 5 cakes total. yuck.

  • Grunts of Pain =/= Survivors breathing

Stridor should increase breathing on all survivors no matter what. Iron Will/No Mither should only affect grunts of pain, since these are two separate audios. BHVR has just been... BHVR.. There is no reason to change either perk. Especially No Mither. The only change that perk needs, is not starting the trial broken, and the killer shouldn't see the Broken Status on the survivors icon. That is way too much information and almost always leads to an immediate tunnel. You also typically get nasty messages from other solo players on PC if youre in solo q using it.

I don't think it's keys that needed the change as much as the hatch. Hatch shouldn't spawn until there is one person left. And then the trophy for all four escaping via hatch needs to go. I'm tired of losing games because one person camps it while I try to get the last gen done, and theyre found and the hatch is instantly closed. They screw us both over. It actually helps the killer in a lot of situations, not that any killer would ever admit that.

Rarely as a solo player(almost 3k hours) do i get screwed over by someone camping the hatch. For me its hard tunneling and face camping and their great value walmart servers creating screw ups for the killer capitalize on(ie: getting a m1 hit when i'm 10 feet from the window even with lithe). Plenty of people don't get the same problems as others regardless of the role we play though.

If you take away all 4 players escaping, you cut off a big part of the game, and create an even bigger problem for (solo)survivors. Because at least half the games I play, the exit gates spawn close enough you can see between. Even on bigger maps. I almost always know where the hatch is, next to an exit gate or somewhere between them. There is no deviation from this, since it is a constant(at least for me). Which honestly, all of the above makes the game really stale.

  • @meatisadelicacy said:

Solo players are going to continue to be hurt by people who stop playing, if they even start at all, just so they can get hatch.

Honestly if they incentivized staying in a toxic game versus dcing, it would also help.

I dont know what they have planned, but an instant pop of the hatch isn't exactly neat. I dont know any lock except the trunk of my car that pops up lol

And your suggestions? Are you saying survivors don't need a second objective...this would be a quick fix to save developer time from implementing gen parts or oil cans or whatever. I mean look how long it's taking them to fix the lag spikes and dcs during the anniversary.

Oh wait they are spending that time implementing that key nerf😏

The main reason they wont give extra steps for gens, is because if the object bugs out, it makes the game unplayable and can't be finished. If you see BHVR's track record with bugs, you would avoid this suggestion like.... the plague.. ahaha but no seriously.

Something else needs to be done. I agree with an extra objective though. But adding TO the generators would be a bad idea imo

  • I suggested a BUNCH of stuff like this. Like: Complete(not survive) X trials in a row and give incentives. That was a really long time ago... cut down on rage quit DCs at least a small %

  • Is this DBD related? I understand the game can cause a lot of anxiety, especially when playing in a lot of situations for both roles. I find myself needing long breaks from the game, depending.

Its not overly telling about balance when its near full power wraith vs near full power survivors.

They both went all out and skill became the deciding factor.

Also we simply don't know if this game was a down to the wire 4k nor if its an over altruistic 4k(3 man escape turned into 4 kill because of overly altruistic survivors).

Before you call me out about that possibility just remember gen rushing gives very little points and in both games I have been in(as a solo with a 3 man) and against 3+ BNPs all 5 gens can be done before any survivor gets over 15k as the rush gives very little time for BP gain.

This actually screams that he was camping and tunneling, which results in the same point spread. ss of the post game is hardly a claim for anything. I need actual undoctored video.

@OP BNPs have already been heavily nerfed. Nerfing them further, BHVR may as well just delete them all together.

Discordance and Pop, but you got a 4k and 25k.. Does not scream Genrush in the slightest.

  • Yeah, flagging this.. because its a completely destructive suggestion to the game considering more people play solo than any other "game mode", and is obviously trolling trying to instigate a bad reaction from a specific group on the forum.

  • Last year I reported this and a mod replied that its basically no different than a killer body blocking the basement preventing being unhooked. The only way to get through the killer is Dead Hard. Which none of it is bannable or even punishment worthy for BHVR to do anything about it.

It is in fact, not bannable. Ask a mod. Been there, done that. BHVR will do nothing about this situation.

Speaking of this situation, this typically only happens with solos. Even more so with crossplay players. I can't honestly say ive played against a SWF and they did this type of thing. I either got my teeth kicked in or didn't.

Unfortunately, there's no real way to fix this issue because of how badly both survivors and killers would abuse the mechanic, like how every single killer was swinging 10 years early at pallets so they wouldn't get stunned... which is actual bug abuse but they sure didn't ban a single person for it lol

I also suggested a fix for this after they introduced EGC and while it was ignored, i'm sure it would be abused in some way shape or form:

When there are 2 survivors remaining and more than 2 generators left to be repaired, After 210s, the killers heartbeat is heard Globally. 30s after the heartbeat starts to be heard, if a generator is not completed EGC starts and the hatch becomes blocked.

The scoring event is called The Impatient Entity.

240s total is 3x the time it would take 1 survivor to repair 1 gen(which is 80s normally, no perks/items/addons)

You've just made an assumption I'm a new player though bro and a ridiculous assumption to make as well because some may not have the same attitude as you do. I can only guess that you're one of those that don't save, and don't fix the gens in hoping your last 2 team members die so you can gladly claim the exit? 😂 have a sit down babe and accept someone doesn't have the same views as you do hun 😘 it's not crying its a discussion, you could always just read and scroll through. We're saying it's morally wrong for the ones who sit and do nothing and hope others who have done the work die so they have the easy escape. And I agree 100% the hatch should be available for those with keys or to just get rid of it.

Bro, notice i wasnt even talking to you in that Quote, that was to someone else entirely. Wow

Ahh yes make an absurd request no one would ever do.

Anyways, i generally don't run BT. And survival rate doesn't mean anything. You can still survive and depip. You can double pip and die as well.

You are grossly exaggerating odds of dying unhooking. You sound like a new survivor player

Just have egc activate after last hook. Done.

    Ahh yes, completely ignore logic.

lol EGC on the last hook would do absolutely nothing. They will still leave you on the hook, you will still die, and you will still cry about it.

Let me guess, you think because i have a low post count i'm a new player? lol No wonder youre crying on the forums about dying on the hook because nobody would save you. With your ######### attitude, i'd leave you on the hook too. Have fun sitting there.

  • Sounds like youve barely played this game except for a few hours.

  • Welcome to DBD

But what exactly do you want the dev to do? Delete the hatch? Yeah and watch how fast the survivor pbase drops(again).

In my experience, if there's 2 people left and youre on the hook, you're getting camped and the killer isn't too far away. It actually makes zero logical sense for anyone with half a brain to come save you unless they're heavily prepared for a camping killer and/or just a camping/tunnel situation in general. People call this "overly immersed", but I actually consider it to be common sense.

Lotta people screaming bad player, when in fact its self preservation(no pun intended).

There's so many people in here turning a blind eye to actual survival game logic. Because very VERY rarely does getting that unhook actually matter, because youre going to get slugged and then the killer is going to hunt me down because i'm obviously somewhere near.

Yeah. I personally take a key in a lot of games. Why? Because solo players are terrible. But I typically take mine for aura reading so I can AVOID the killer, and AVOID running the killer into survivors doing gens. However, If i do take a key or I find one.. I will locate the hatch first and then come get you. If you see someone teabag the hatch, point, drop and pick up and Item... PAY FREAKING ATTENTION. the amount of stupid survivors i get teamed against who don't take the hint that I have a key GET OVER HERE is higher than Snoop.

However, The situation everyone keeps describing is the same. "dude left me behind" um, yeah...That's gonna happen, a lot. So stop complaining, since the behavior that is the cause of these types of actions is based on what the killer is -actually- going to do. Not what your hopes and dreams aspire to. Then its the same suggestion: delete hatch. man gtfo people

If i unhook you and we are the only two survivors left, the odds of us both dying are 95% or higher. I love how people are mad at logic in this game. Yall want someone to Leroy Jenkins you off the hook, i get it. Stop expecting it. If there's 2 of you left and you get hooked, you're dead. Put the salt back in the Morton's container and save it for someone who actually deserves it. Yall are a mess.

Unless the gates are open, I'm not saving you unless i have BT or Bottled Time.. which most of you won't even take the Protection hit if I do run one or both. You have 3 options. Play SWF, deal with it like the rest of us, or play something else.

I just assume that the other survivor will abandon me. This is one of the main reasons why I hate hatch existing, especially now it doesn't depend on number of gens done for final survivor. Hatch further encourages players to not work together.

I want you to do me a favor. I want you to record your next 25 games, and i want you to be one of the last 2 people standing, and I want you to specifically not have BT, and I want you to save the other person. Please provide all uploads so we can see your survival ratio. It will be next to zero unless youre playing in a SWF. This has been a FACT of Dead By Daylight.

The Hatch has to be there, or when 3 players die, EGC will never activate until a generator is done. Thus leaving a stalemate, like it used to be before EGC became a thing. I'm sick of seeing people complaining without any coherent suggestions to fix these.. "problems" when the problem is actually unfixable because of how either the killer is going to act or other survivors are going to act.

I'd touch the rest of what you said if it wasn't an incoherent rant. I picked out something direct and obvious.

I'm also not a killer main, I play both sides, at red ranks, thanks. Do you play killer at red ranks?

I might have very few posts but i have well over 4k hours in DBD since 2016. And Oooh boy do i.

None of it was incoherent. You just have zero answer.

lemme TL;DR it for you. Solo queue is the worst game mode. You obviously play SWF when you play Survivor and you probably main Spirit as killer, because there is no balance to the game. And he's actually right. Instead of nerfing everything into No Fun for killers, do something to incentivize playing Solo. SWF is literally the cancer of this game and I can honestly say I play survivor way more than I play killer. Yet I'm on most killers side.... Why? Because they have to introduce more and more crap in a woeful attempt to kneecap SWF, which is an actual disembowelment of Solo Queue, because Comms cannot be countered. Period.

    End "Incoherent Rant".

@immoraldemise I did! You never specified if you let the FULL animation play out, which is why I ask - you just say you pointed in his face unspecified, that's just why I ask :,0 a lot of people cancel the animation and have issues, I had to specify that to some friends of mine

if you spam 1 or 2, it will play the full action and keep repeating until you stop spamming. for anyone who didn't know :)

Pretty sure they get perma-banned when caught cheating in dbd so you're not going to run into them again, unless they re-buy the game, which is impossible to stop.

Or do you mean any cheating in any game at all? Because I don't think that's in BHVR's jurisdiction.

Not at all true. BHVR is actually REALLY bad at banning and catching cheaters. It has to be against a Fog Whisperer in most cases(as i've only really seen people banned after cheating with a FW in the group/game). You're more likely to get banned on the forum for saying something naughty. I have never once played a game in DBD where a person has a VAC ban and there wasn't really toxic behavior. Not in all the years ive been playing this game.

People with VAC bans should be heavily monitored. Because as I stated, I have NEVER played with someone having a VAC or multiple game bans and it be anywhere near fun.

But it would cost DBD "too much"(lol) to get VAC secured servers. But, you can get a DC Penalty if Steam faceplants for any reason. So why they're attached to Steam and not VAC secured used to be mind boggling, until someone on the forum made me aware of how cheap BHVR is being with the servers. EAC is utter crap since you can google how to get around it. The dev needs better security and should seriously consider VAC secured servers. But its all about money.

I would post links to my YT with proof of cheaters with their Steam IDs to prove they havent been banned, but then I would just get banned for name shaming. Such a joke.

Queue times were only bad (and are still only bad) for survivors.

    Gee, I wonder why.

Because of people like the OP who are constantly calling for killers to be worse and worse and less desirable to play for a majority of the playerbase.

Playing solo is the least desirable gamemode in DBD, period. There's No incentive, your odds of earning less than 10k BP is staggering. Its not about surviving, its about quality of the game. I'd like at least 1-2 hooks per game before I die. Does that happen? 80% of the time it does not. Killer sits there or proxy camps then tunnels off the hook. Why the HELL should I be required to take DS every single freaking game? I'm so sick of the garbage Meta BHVR forces on us. And the killer base doesn't help anything. But I guess let me take Boring Strike because I know it's going to get used due to a bunch of toxic muppets from both sides of the field.

I have 2 options playing Survivor according to killer mains like yourself. Don't play or play SWF with comms and completely stomp most killers. There is ZERO(0, nada, none, zilch) challenge in playing SWF.

"huehue dont get caught first" Bruh, BHVR has literally made it so you HAVE to get into chases. There is NO actual stealth category. You earn nothing unless you throw yourself at the killer or hold M1 for 99% of the trial. If i get a game where the mf isn't tunneling like he's digging to China, I'm absolutely shocked to the point Im at a loss of how to react. Hell, i've readily bought DLC for players who werent sacks of hot toxic garbage.

You basically said its OP and people like OP's fault survivors have a high queue time? Whatcha smokin' there bro? It couldnt have anything to do with the huge drops in pbase because people are sick of BHVR's priorities? Nah that couldn't be it. How absolutely atrocious the coding for maps are, the constant invisible barriers, couldn't be the huge amount of bugs, some in game for years(STILL). No no, it's people like OP making the queue times high. The fact you wouldn't even touch on anything else I said besides queue times says a lot. gg tho.

Are you letting the full pointing animation play out? You need to let the full animation for the pointing play out.

did you read ANYTHING i posted

  • Please stop comparing Trickster who is ranged to Stealth killers and their powers. Its already a well known fact that Myers needs a buff and has for years.

I guess Killers have a problem with SWFs. but Solo, Trickster is demolishing everything. If i use Trickster, half the Survivors typically DC or first hook suicide.

Laceration Decay is fine, because of how badly the killer community tunnels the snot out of one person. If you don't do it thats you. You cannot speak for the rest of the community who's sole intention is to ruin the game for other people, knowing full well they wont get in any sort of trouble for being toxic.

Buffing him too much will make him P2W, and he's not exactly in a terrible spot with how often he gets 2+ kills per game. I'm sure if you ask BHVR they'll gladly post the stats. But i'm sure they will soon anyway, as they typically do after some time has elapsed when a new killer is released.

Decay starting after they're healed is kind of an oxymoron? that's like if I went to the hospital and got patched up, but i'm still bleeding profusely.. They could treat it like mending, but halved timer that if it runs out causes Broken Status. But being healed should remove the decay all together. As it is, his knives don't trigger BT. That alone makes it OP and folks are abusing TF out of it.

Doubling the damage from a single knife throw would be OP and heavily abused. Or it will be wildly useless. It depends! There are way too many inconsistencies with their crappy servers. The only thing I 100% agree with is being able to store his power. I really wish you guys would rail BHVR to fix the QOL aspects of the game versus buffing specific killers. The servers are the biggest problem with the game, crossplay coming in hot at an extremely close 2nd.
