We need to know WHY it's bad in your opinion. I personally think it's fine, but I'm interested in hearing why people think it should be changed. I'll be paying attention to the well written and least "ragey" posts since I'm looking for a reasonable conversation. Feel free to rage though. #noedisfine20 comments 371 views last activity

For the more experienced survivors... Does the lack of a warning for a surprise perk like Devour Hope make the match more exciting? When the Hag first came out I saw a streamer's match against the Nurse. She had just hooked him in the basement and left. I don't remember the details, but once she started downing people in one hit he was screaming that it was DH and they needed to find the totem2 comments 711 views last activity

Sounds like Freddy again right? What's the harm in leaving the Ghost as he is for a month before "fixing" him. Allow the players to provide solid feedback and see how the numbers are for this killer before making any changes. You've done this before and now you're spending resources remaking Freddy all over again. Wait a month before dropping your hotfix and see if he actually needs to be fix21 comments 382 views last activity

In its current form Decisive Strike can punish a killer for playing too well. It is possible for this scenario to occur and increasingly likely to happen as the game becomes more frenzied during the collapse. The killer hooks a DS survivor and moves on to the next survivor playing the game without tunneling or camping. The killer then manages to either locate the DS survivor or that survivor100 comments 1,443 views last activity

What are some basic or advanced tips and tricks you've learned from others or taught yourself? What are some things that you wish someone had told you about the Hag sooner? What are some questions that you have right now that no one has been able to explain clearly enough for you? The new hag guide is almost finished, but I thought it would be fun to include this kind of information to help ma21 comments 762 views last activity

Who are some players/creators who you think deserve a larger audience than they currently have for DbD related content? Have the devs ever considered holding a contest where players could submit auditions to voice upcoming killers and survivors? I was in a particularly giggly mood today and since my natural laugh sounds pretty evil I was scaring quite a few customers today lol I thought it might be fun to voice a psychotic killer with that kind of laugh and wished there was a chance to do so. I personally don't use this perk for the subpar tracking and positional information it provides, I use it to be able to mori my obsession at the end of the match. However, with the collapse, I find that this perk would be a wonderful way to end a match besides hooking or waiting for the entity to claim the last survivor. How game breaking would it be to have Rancor activate when the collapse b7 comments 172 views last activity

Are there killers similar to the Trapper, Hag, and Spirit in the pipeline? I'm not a big fan of the simple chasing killers and prefer to play chess with survivors with traps and mindgames. I'm just curious if we can expect a new killer that requires more planning and forethought in the future or if we're just going to keep seeing more killers that simply chase after survivors without much stra21 comments 482 views last activity

I was thinking about the statistics the devs dropped a few days ago and the one with the % of people solo and in groups got me thinking. Since 4-mans are the goto boogeyman for killers in that players will actively try to avoid them if at all possible AND 4-mans are the smallest % of groups made in dbd, why don't they just cap SWF groups at 3 people? Fears about splitting the playerbase would b23 comments 292 views last activity

So as we've seen, we've had quite a few changes that negatively affected some players to a far greater degree than expected. I'm willing to bet money that the changes as they stand will go through to the live game based on how feedback was acted upon in past PTBs. So, since this is reality now, what can we as a community do now to avoid these kind of "surprises" in the future? I would like to0 comments 22 views last activity

I see a lot of people shouting that it is, can we get an official word on this so the matter can be closed and we can move on with the conversations? I personally don't think that it's an exploit and just want it clarified whether I'm right or wrong in this thinking.89 comments 1,843 views last activity

I recently did a video talking about the amount of bloodpoints it takes to level a character (killer) to max their perks and I thought I should share the math with everyone so we can start a conversation about what can be done about it. Currently killers have 57 perks and each perk has 3 ranks. One rank is gained per level so killers basically have 171 perk levels until they are maxed out. Leve27 comments 1,273 views last activity

So here's the endgame. 2 Survivors are sacrificed and the 3rd survivor goes down for the first time in the match. Infectious fright goes off and I chase the 4th. The 3rd survivor DC's because they don't want to be slugged while I finish off the 4th. The 4th gets the hatch. If the 3rd person is "under their percentage" they get 0 punishment for sabotaging the game. Compulsive DC'ers might ge79 comments 6,523 views last activity

Anyone else having a hell of a time dealing with all the second chances? As a Hag main I only have M1 so MoM is a chore to deal with when it's combined with everything else. Maybe it's just an off night, but it sure feels like there are far too many of these. Add to that that they're being stacked with most every other combination of second chance perks then multiplied by 4. Am I the only on96 comments 2,013 views last activity

As a killer, I can't seem to hear survivors breathing, or crouching through grass even if they're nearby. I don't think footsteps are as loud as they used to be and injured survivors are kind of muted. Some audio during the transition from a match to the character select screen is muted or very low also. Am I the only one or does the audio still need some adjustment?3 comments 82 views last activity

If survivors get various notifications when they're affected by a killer's perks, why isn't the same offered to killers? DS is the only one I can think of, but I mean you get stunned and drop a survivor. We don't really need an icon for that. Things like Kindred, OoO, Alert, where the killer received a notification of when they're being watched would give the killer an option to adapt to the mat6 comments 311 views last activity

What is the average chase duration? What are the average "long" and "short" chase times? What is the average time it takes for gates to be powered, excluding matches with less than 4 survivors and matches where the gates are not powered. After a pretty normal match, we have a traditionally salty survivor who was farmed by a streamer. Now, this particular survivor will DC during future matches if I don't dodge them, or they change their name so I wont' recognize them. DC'ing is a punishable offense, but how many games will he ruin for me and the other survivors he's with before he's banned... if at all? While the pr30 comments 1,602 views last activity

Just finished a match attempting to gain the Adept Legion achievement. The hatch mechanic put me into a situation where I couldn't kill one without letting the other escape. 1 person had gotten to the point that if I slugged them any more they would bleed out after a few seconds so I couldn't slug them again. The second was a very stealthy individual making it difficult to find them with the l6 comments 111 views last activity

Price check on the rest of The Legion? We've effectively been given a single killer with several cosmetics with the option to buy new voices (I'm assuming). I'm kind of bummed out, but that's probably just because The Legion was a great idea ruined by trepidation.1 comments 51 views last activity

I wonder if DCs we're counted as "kills" by the person making the chart. I wonder what the rates were like separated by system. I wonder what the survival rate is for 2, 3 , and 4-man SWF groups. I wonder what the chart would look like if they looked at total hours played instead of rank. There's a lot that was unsaid when they presented the chart. Edit: Video of my nublet survivor gameplay at the bottom. I as a 1500 hr killer main with every survivor at L1. By being forced to play survivor to get the most out of the event, I've learned and observed a few things. Adding objectives to the game might work, but something would have to give on the killer's side in order for it to be a fun addition for everyone. EDIT: Thank you! I, like many of you, am unhappy with the devs decision to charge for 18/21 of the event cosmetic pieces. I would like to say to the players of DbD that if you purchase these cosmetics after the bait and switch the devs pulled by omission, then you will be setting us up with this event format for the foreseeable future, including the inevitable Christmas Event. What exactly do the devs want DbD to be? What do the devs want the ideal killer experience to be like? What do the devs want the ideal survivor experience to be like? Don't bother with the marketing buzzwords and just talk to us. Why isn't Insidious getting tweaked in addition? Maybe increase the speed in which it activated in order to make it useful in ambush situations or possibly chases when near high walls. We all know this won't stop camping, but if you're going to punish a tactic you've advocated, you should compromise in another area.8 comments 101 views last activity

gave you access to one of that killer's perks as a dedicated 5th perk? Perhaps giving them a boost for being used with that specific killer? P1 = T1 perk P2 = T2 perk P3 = T3 perk with boost Hag example: Devour Hope as 5th perk bonus = no exposed notification... Or the hex will jump to one new totem when cleansed giving it a second life. What if instead of "dying" they were left alive as if the player was afk? Other survivors could heal and rescue the afk survivor for points, dc'ing wouldn't trigger the hatch prematurely/artificially, Evil Incarnate wouldn't be so difficult, and the killer could continue on as normal. I don't know what could work for a killer DC since they're hosting though.. Thoughts?20 comments 191 views last activity

This is to remind players confused about the meaning of this statement that these are the same devs who thought Bloodlust (implementing it at all) and the Flashlight and Pallet Stun changes were a good idea. Just ended a match where I did very well and the last person alive happened to be the obsession who DS'd and found the hatch right nearby. The match prior 2 had died and I downed one near a gate, the hatch placement was known. I carry the downed towards a hook and DS'd. I've read about this system in various posts and I thought it would be a good idea to bring it up into the open for discussion and consideration. To combat the feelings of unfairness and disappointment when players DC from a game, would the DbD devs consider implementing a system similar to that of the F13 Salt Mines ? In a recent video I made I played as one of my worst killers, The Nurse and the newest killer The Spirit. I had gotten to the higher ranks by playing The Hag and this resulted in me playing as a nublet Nurse and fresh off the download Spirit at Rank 3. "You worked well, the last one is yours." Since the last survivor has an easier time escaping, would a good killer counterpart be a built in Cypress Mori where the killer can Mori the final survivor if they played well and sacrificed the first 3 survivors? Afterall, the killer worked well... shouldn't the last one be theirs?0 comments 31 views last activity
