Bit of a disclaimer here: In this post I am NOT trying to argue that any of the mentioned perks are too strong or need to be nerfed. I’m simply discussing why, in my view, their designs may be problematic. Dead hard is a perk that's designed to reward risky plays, allowing you to dodge a hit by the press of a button/key. However I’d argue that this is a flawed design that can only lead to frust49 comments 781 views last activity

I played a match just now as the Blight on coal tower. All of the survivors were PC with private profiles and three of them last second swapped to flashlights at the last moment. Three identical Dwights and one Meg (The meg was one of the last second switchers). Upon seeing the last second swaps I knew I should probably record the game as I knew this'd be good (didn't know they would hack, just t2 comments 21 views last activity

It's so bizarre that the Developers designed a killer's whole counter around looking at him for a few seconds and yet have that counterplay just be broken. It's been this way for ages, perhaps even as far back as his release, though I'm not sure about that. I've genuinely lost count of the amount of times that I've had a bloody staring contest with him and somehow not broken him out of stealth. I2 comments 71 views last activity

I play on low settings to have as high of an fps as possible but also because, for whatever reason, the game is brighter on low settings. This is especially handy for the newly updated maps as they tend to be very dark. I would like to use brightness filters to make it more bright but I'm worried that people might be upset or that I could be banned. Is using brightness filters considered cheating3 comments 101 views last activity

I swapped from PS4 to PC a while ago but I'd never really made the effort to swap from controller to keyboard and mouse. I've recently taken an interest in Blight however so I've been trying to learn to use mouse and keyboard. It feels more accurate and yet way clunkier at the same time. I keep bumping into things. I intend to get Blight very soon and I'm just wondering, Is Blight still viable wh7 comments 111 views last activity

I often take breaks from the game but ultimately I truly do want to play the game. I’ve played on and off since it was free for PS Plus back in the August of 2018 I believe. However, I swapped to PC in December and due to the lack of cross progression I lost everything. The grind is very demoralising honestly, I’ve gotten some decent perks on Survivor but now I’ve gotten an itch to play killer ag4 comments 131 views last activity

(Apologies in advance, I’m one of those boomers that still use the % speed thing rather then using m/s) The killers in this game follow a tried and true formula of: If their power is very oppressive then make them move at 110%, otherwise, make them 115%. This is a relatively fair and accepted thing. It helps to balance out killers with exceptionally strong powers and keeps the ones who aren’t as3 comments 81 views last activity

I recently changed from PS4 to PC but now I'm constantly getting yellow rank teammates who self care every time they're injured and can only run the killler for like a max of 15-20 seconds. It's bloody torture playing with these people but I don't want to go back to PS4 because the PC version is leaps and bounds above the console version. In both fps and just general performance. The vast majority of my survivor games these days is against killers who blatantly tunnel and camp regularly. Add on to this the fact that the game has been a buggy mess from the start and now I just don't want to play the game anymore. The survivor's main objective is to sit still, playing killer is frustrating because against survivors with brains it can feel impossible sometimes. I love this3 comments 21 views last activity

Fashion might seem pretty unimportant right now but hey, might as well ask. Could we please have white trousers for my boy Ace? Obviously very low priority but I'd like to see this nonetheless. Hope you all have lovely days!2 comments 21 views last activity

I’ve heard there’s a bug where on the survivors screen he will still have his sword in the ground even after he’s stopped on the killers end. I’ve been trying to find footage of the bug but I can’t find any. If someone could be so kind, could anyone with footage of it in action please send a video of it here please?0 comments 11 views last activity

I’ve been thinking lately, if we take a killer of high skill and pit them against 4 survivors of relatively equal skill on a map that’s as balanced as possible. Who SHOULD win? If they are all of relatively equal skill then should the power role (Killer) win? Should the team players (survivors) win? Perhaps it should be a 2K? After all, the Devs did state in the past that to them, a 2 kill 2 esca5 comments 91 views last activity

Personally I find going against survivors who regularly hide instead of taking chase to be really boring as killer. It's understandable if they're in a complete deadzone but playing against immersed survivors when they have numerous strong loops at hand is just unpleasant to go against. At least for me. Aimlessly wandering around, looking for a chase is the most boring part of playing Killer and15 comments 181 views last activity

Earlier today, when doing a Jake daily, I came across a Cheryl with an ugly Christmas sweater. I thought to myself "Oh sweet, I'm sure Cheryl mains will be happy. I'll check the store after this match to see it more closely". Except, I checked the store after and it wasn't there? Were they a hacker or is there some code going around I don't know about?6 comments 801 views last activity

I'd like to preface that this is all my opinion, anyhow, let's get into it. All the og survivors did a pretty good job I think, their screams actually sounded like how I would imagine a person who just got put on a meat hook would scream. Many of the survivors after are in the same boat. However, when we got to Zarina the voice acting seemed a little off? No biggie, it wasn't super noticeable a1 comments 51 views last activity

I just read the Twin's lore and I was shocked that Victor actually died long before Charlotte entered the realm. In the lore itself it mentions how Victor suddenly comes back to life just before Charlotte entered into the fog but he appears to be rabid and animal like. What do you think? Is Victor in the entity's realm actually Victor? Or is it a clone who exists to motivate Charlotte to kill?14 comments 661 views last activity

Trapper feels so terrible to play on these maps because you can't hide any traps in the grass. This makes trapping ten times harder because you can only place traps right at pallets (Very predictable, often get disarmed) or windows. The fun part about playing Trapper is feeling like some kind of mastermind, hiding traps in grass for later chases. Whenever I get the reworked maps as Trapper, all I4 comments 91 views last activity

I’ve been thinking about Autodidact lately and how, with minimal effort, the Devs could make it into a very solid perk. The main issue with the perk is sometimes you just don’t get any skill checks. What if you could press the active ability button during a heal to instantly trigger a skill check once per heal? This would allow it to be more consistent and viable as you can start a heal knowing f6 comments 81 views last activity

Is it really that important to win? I mean I get it, it feels good to get that 4K or have a flawless 4 man escape but c'mon, winning isn't that important. Like what, if you don't get that 4K are the Devs gonna shoot your mom or something? Otherwise I don't understand why you care THAT much about winning. Was it really necessary to slug that baby dweet until he bled out so that you could get your76 comments 5,201 views last activity

Just had a game that lasted bloody ages because the Billy literally refused to hook. I'm not joking, he would down one of us, nod his head like he had finally achieved something with his life and then chainsawed away. This process continued constantly until we all just bled out. It was genuinely the most atrocious experience I've ever had in this game. I'm wondering though, is this worthy of a re6 comments 111 views last activity

Platform: PS4 Issue with Ace's sweater cosmetics clipping through his neck. Ruins an otherwise cool bunch of cosmetics. This has been issue for many months now but I didn't report it at the time. It's probably fairly easy to reproduce as you just go into the shop, click on the cosmetic and voila. I'm unsure if this is an issue on other platforms.0 comments 11 views last activity

I enjoy using the perk but I rarely ever find it to be very impactful. Getting the perks full 3 tokens takes time that usually isn’t available against good survivors and going for only 1 token and then playing normally means that speed will be gone very quickly. What do you think?5 comments 171 views last activity

A build that I rather enjoy on survivor is Bond, open handed, windows of opportunity and then the 4th perk can be whatever. Typically an exhaustion perk or kindred. You can see people from pretty far away with the extended range of bond and get to see where all the nearest pallets and windows are thanks to windows of opportunity so you can be more efficient when running the killer. Pyramid head was widely regarded as being one of, if not, the most boring killer in the game to face. I’m wondering if that has changed for people after his rework of sorts.25 comments 321 views last activity

I quite like the ost for this game so I've checked the soundtrack out on spotify a while ago only to find that a bunch of songs are missing. None of the unique chase/menu songs are in it which I find to be a bit disappointing. At the end of the day it's not a huge deal but I'm curious.2 comments 11 views last activity

Platform: PS4 Description of the issue: I've experienced the bug about 3-4 times though I only have video evidence for two of these instances. I've only experienced the issue when playing Pyramid head. Each time I'd load in to a public match as per normal. I would patrol the gens to find someone and once I did, I'd chase them. However after a certain point, the game would simply be cancelled, wi6 comments 52 views last activity

I don't actually expect a developer or community manager to see this but I think it'd be therapeutic to get my thoughts out there and if it does get seen then that'll just be the cherry on top. Keys and moris are going to be reworked, cool. Thing is, why weren't they reworked a year ago or 2 years ago? Keys and moris have been almost universally acknowledged as being game-breakingly strong for6 comments 61 views last activity

Generators are an issue that's plagued this game since it's launch 4 years ago. The tension of working on a gen quickly dissipates after only a handful of hours and once that happens repairing gens just becomes a boring chore that has to be done. Meanwhile, on the Killer side of things gen speeds feel insanely fast unless you run the sweatiest build possible and even then a seemingly small mistak1 comments 41 views last activity

I just got Steve today and I’d love to give second wind a try but other than adrenaline, I don’t know what perks would pair well with it. I’d greatly appreciate it if any second wind gamers could pop a suggestion or two in the comments of this discussion. Thanks in advance and I hope you all have a lovely day.14 comments 261 views last activity

I personally find it frustrating to see a no mither player when playing solo que as loss is almost guaranteed unless the Killer is a bit boosted. I wanna see some opinions on this.1 comments 11 views last activity

I personally have had multiple games where my fingers slipped or they get tired from mashing the struggle button so I die prematurely ruining any chance my teammates had at winning. I'd like to get some opinions on this. Is the struggling mechanic in it's current state fine or should it be changed?10 comments 111 views last activity
