I'm convinced at this point that half the people on this forum's only joy in life comes from complaining about anything they possibly can. So many killers have quit playing because of how badly they've been nerfed or how painful it can be to play killer. I mostly play Plague and Artist and every few games I'll switch it up to either Pig, Pinhead or Demo. Thinking about getting back into Pyramid Head as well. Idk maybe I'm masochist or whatever but I do enjoy the challenge. Putting strength and the ability to 4k all the time aside. Which killer do you have the most fun playing as in terms of their abilities and such things. For me I'm currently having the most fun with Plague and jump scare Myers. Plague because it's fun to launch your vomit over walls and have it rain down on unsuspecting survivors on gens. When GTA V was released on the Epic Game store for free there was a mass influx of hackers. If they got banned who cares because it was free so there's basically nothing to lose. Is Survivor and Killer MMR put together as one? Does each side have it's own MMR? or does each character have their own MMR? I ask because I play mostly survivor. I have an escape rate 75%+ and I get matched with pretty decent teams and killers. I haven't played a ton of killer because I'm working on unlocking more perks. I have a few main issues with the grind. A. I work 10+ hours a day so I don't have much time to play DbD these days. Thankfully during lockdowns I was able to play a lot and got lucky on the shrine and have most perks on survivor side. Killer side is a different story. At least certain HEX's such as Ruin for example. I guess at the same time though if you bring two HEX's which gets precedent when being relit? Also I'm sure certain HEX's wouldn't really work with this concept. Maybe even a new category of perk for killer that would basically be relightable HEX's. I honestly feel like the newest chapter is just a money grab going after anime and kpop fans. While there's nothing wrong with targeting and marketing to a certain audience, is this really the best they can do? Spawn in gen right in front of me, get on gen, skill check......skill check, etc, Gen pops move onto the next gen and repeat. Killer comes over, chase for a bit, lose killer, Back onto a gen. The zzz are starting to take over. Losing focus I miss a skill check, killer comes over, give chase, I make a mistake, on the hook I go. Waiting to become unhooked zzz are really hitting me now. Let me start this off by saying I play both sides but mostly solo survivor. I don't know what's going on lately but the gens are popping left right and center. On top of that Hexes are being found extremely quickly. With that being said killers are left with little to no gen defense and honestly I feel kind of sorry for them sometimes. Usually when I level up a character I don't play them until I have all the perks I want unlocked at very rare quality. I started leveling up Adam to unlock deliverance but I randomly decided to start playing with him instead. I'm currently running We'll make it, Deliverance, Dark Sense and Resilience all rare quality atm and I'm kinda shocked by the outcome. I mean there's no incentive to get to a certain rank or anything and within a day or so I'm basically back to where I was. Problem is I just get matched up with and against the weirdest survivors/killers doing the weirdest things during rank reset for a few days and then it'll all be back to normal. Back when I first started playing this game and I didn't know much about how it worked, I tried not to get seen by the killer and getting into a chase gave me that feeling of anxiety but in a good way. It's been a long time since I've really felt the horror aspect of this game and I do miss it. Playing against Spirit, particularly a good Spirit somewhat brings that back in a way. So I've been tracking my stats for a while now, some of which are very specific in order to be the most efficient solo survivor that I can be. Also because the analytics are a lot of fun to look at. My ultimate goal at the end of each game is to pip, if I survive and don't pip I don't count it as a win but as a tie unless I de-pip then it's a loss. Anyways on to my main point. I play strictly solo when I play survivor and I'm constantly trying to improve, so I record specific stats from each game I play so I can see where I'm doing well and what I need to put a little more focus into. Basically I want to be efficient as possible and my ultimate goal is to pip at the end of the match. I enjoy the grind of reaching rank 1 by rank reset so that's how I play. For solo survivor do you think using an Exhaustion perk is a must or is there something else that you would rather use? For me Kindred and Windows of Opportunity is a must have. Which leaves me with two perk spots to play around with but one of them is always occupied by an exhaustion perk which really only gives me one perk to play around with. Just played a couple of matches as a red rank. Got matched up with some greens and purples one match which were decent against a level 2 nurse so whatever. Second match got greens and purples again which were struggling a bit more against a rank 1 Freddy we all got killed. As the title says if you could keep a single perk that you have unlocked when you prestige what would it be and why? Mine would be balanced landing - I really enjoy this perk and find it super helpful most of the time to get away from killers when there's a drop down as they don't hear you land, and if they don't immediately realize you've dropped down you're already gone by the time they do5 comments 51 views last activity

Getting as many hooks as possible or getting a 4k by any means necessary even if that means you only get 4 hooks. I wanna know what everyone's opinion on this is and why you play the way that you do. I'm curious if anyone has any good pig ideas. Pig is my favourite killer and I don't really have any issues with her, even though the reverse bear traps are RNG based. I understand that I can't just get a free kill from a reverse bear trap after getting someone down their first time, and I think they do really well at taking some pressure off gens for the most part. There's no problem with DH I've never lost a game because someone used DH. I just can't believe how many people are salty about DH. Especially with the desync issues where I can literally hit a survivor around a corner. Learn how to chase, learn how to force a survivor out of position, and just get better at the game. The only thing I've seen the developers say is that in 4.5.2 there's a fix for some visual bug that shows players being higher rank than they actually are or whatever. Nothing about the fact that people are losing pips after safety pipping, sometimes losing a pip after gaining a pip and even losing a pip from a game not starting due to someone disconnecting. Joined a match, loading screen, someone disconnected while loading, back to lobby, de-pip. Does anyone know how this bug works? For example after I play my next match will it adjust itself back to where it should be following that match? Example I should be rank 5 flat out with no pips. Since the last update it's nothing but bug after bug. From de-pipping on safety pips and the broken emblems to getting stuck on the corner of a wall mid sprint with Pig and being totally unable to move or free myself. I love DBD I play mostly survivor but since the recent update survivor has become almost unplayable. With the new update and the big changes to the UI with plans to add more to it in the future will Dead by Daylight become a completely new game? For example, shying away from some of the horror aspect of being alone and scared (not that we are scared) and becoming something more strategic providing players, especially the solo players with more information. So I got tunneled by a Myers which is whatever I lasted until there was 1 gen left and at the end of the match I lost two pips and didn't get any survival emblem. The new UI I personally don't really mind it and it is what it is. I'm sure with time it'll be changed and improved. I play both sides and for the past week or two a good 90% of my survivor matches have made me want to stop playing this game. The game starts out fine and when the inevitable happens of the killer downing someone or hooking them and they aren't saved within the first 10 seconds they either quit or just kill themselves on the hook.
