Particularly late at night/early in the morning, I always seem to be matched crossplay. It's pretty odd.20 comments 341 views last activity

Because honestly, half the time I feel like I might as well go make a drink as soon as the map loads for all the involvement I'm going to have. It seems like pure luck to even find someone in this claustrophobic hellhole4 comments 81 views last activity

At least as an option. It was entertaining at first but now it's just really annoying when I'm going through bloodwebs or something.31 comments 993 views last activity

Came back to the game after a long break (since Onryo release, IIRC). Pretty immediately reminded why I stopped ; constantly running into builds or strategies that rely on being on a particular map and making a more general approach feel like a spectator in the game rather than a participant. And seriously, the counter-offering to stop it is still obnoxiously rare?18 comments 231 views last activity

Oh, but not a good one, or one that even makes all that much sense. The top floor was bigger--much bigger--even though the bottom floor was the same size. Why? Well, an entire bar had been installed there, complete with seating for patrons (who were all cheerfully drinking away despite the DBD match going on). And for some reason this included prespawned items that could be used by the Killer an0 comments 21 views last activity

Since, obviously, it's got almost nothing on it but pallets, leading to the somewhat comical "reset Bloodlust and chase every time you go near one".19 comments 451 views last activity

At least I'm enjoying these? Though prestiging with no BP was not my smartest move.14 comments 101 views last activity

See title for question. Well, if they're downed, at least. I guess that would be a caveat.35 comments 551 views last activity

Tunnelling is the easier option than spreading it out. Especially when everyone decides to look the same.77 comments 812 views last activity

Because I was using it with the Yakuyoke Amulet (weeeee, zoom across the whole map~) and... I could still see scratchmarks. Kind of need to check I've got how things should be working right before I go the whole submit-a-bug-report route.2 comments 61 views last activity

It's not like the remaining players (probably) did anything, there's no need for the whole "ENTITY DISPLEASED" etc. and vice versa.3 comments 21 views last activity

Because, y'know, of all the postgame salt I've ever seen "how did you get a 4k you play like the training AI" is possibly the most hilarious.17 comments 421 views last activity

If it's going to be pallet smashing simulator anyway, I might as well make a whole game out of it. More pallets! Feed me more pallets!6 comments 51 views last activity

Some of them are incidental to normal play of that character (or any Survivor). "Max mutation rate as Nemesis". "Hit fully infected Survivors as Plague". And then some are just... bizarre and overly intrusive. I'd guess the "Sabotage a bunch of hooks" ones I see occasionally, but also "do Moris as this specific person ", or Pyramid Head getting the wonderful "cage 4 survivors" (please step on2 comments 51 views last activity

I've played all of 3 games as the Spirit and, as you might expect, have bugger all in the way of perks (or much idea of what I'm doing). Still had 2 people DC immediately/on first down. I've heard people say Pinhead gets a lot of DC's, but I never ran into that many.16 comments 241 views last activity

Or: another complaint about the grind, from the perspective of someone who's played enough to get used to having pretty good perks and being able to do some build choices, but not anywhere near most of them. So, I started at Halloween, with the benefit of having a ton of free BP from that and the free Halloween weekend last year. I've unlocked all the perks off Trapper, Hillbilly, Plague, Bu0 comments 101 views last activity

why yes this is the right thing to do, why do i have so many range addons to pick from, then?4 comments 191 views last activity

Really, don't think I ever expected to see that happen.7 comments 131 views last activity

Honestly, I don't play all that much and I only started at Halloween, so I wasn't expecting to manage this on my first full reset cycle, but I pulled it off and playing Pinhead almost exclusively, too. Damnable addon nerf... ah well, I still have addon combos that I like, and honestly more fun than box hoarding.14 comments 191 views last activity

Is it 4 hooks per perk, or 4 hooks total? I think it's only 4 total? And which should it be (or should the description be reworded).12 comments 191 views last activity

I've logged in every day this month and aside from the first few days, I've only gotten the usual ritual login thing.4 comments 41 views last activity

Been trying to make sense of this contradictory viewpoint for a while now. The only fun part of the game for survivors is interaction with the killers and being chased, and anti-loop powers or mobility powers that make it hard to play around loops are therefore bad... but a short game where you're only being chased and then you get sacrificed is also unfun? If chases are the only fun part of t33 comments 361 views last activity

... why? I honestly don't get why someone could think it's at a remotely acceptable level especially given the game just dropped for free on yet another platform to bring in new players. Like, let's take my current thoughts: I want to play with Artist's Scourge Hook perk, so I need to get her to level 35. Then I need to farm out the one character I've been unlocking perks on consistently so57 comments 811 views last activity

M2? It's a myth, it doesn't exist. Seriously, I played a few games today and I realised... even though I've gotten pretty good at landing chains, I'm barely trying. I think I got one hit off of them. The entire rest of the time, at most it was the threat of chains that was doing more than any actual anti-loop ability they might have had. Pair this with using the Chatterer's Tooth as an info23 comments 321 views last activity

Hexes are supposed to be high-risk, high-reward perks, but they rarely last long in games with a particularly competent team--especially with boons having moved hexes more into the open and encouraged people to look for totems even further. Is it: 1) Hexes are cleansed too fast : without thrill of the hunt, hexes go poof just like that. And because TotH and Undying don't provide totemvision, u29 comments 301 views last activity

I don't care how pretty it is, RCPD is a ######### miserable slog. I know some people love it for some bizarre reason aside from it being RE2, but I kind of want to play the game , not give myself homework learning this awful maze. Particularly since the game doesn't let you just look around the map unless you rope another person into it! Absolutely wonderful, you need to waste two peop14 comments 231 views last activity

Like mmmm, I haven't downed anyone yet to bring survivors to me, and we're now in the usual inane hold w -> pallet drop -> more hold w situation. What's actually a good response? Abandoning a chase doesn't necessarily do anything except change who you're holding W at. And indoor maps with lots of LOS blockers are the worst at that.30 comments 621 views last activity

See, the Deathslinger thread earlier made me wonder. Aside from Nurse showing up in someone's face, it doesn't seem like any killer that has an aim or timing requirement to their power is allowed to have it work at a speed that doesn't allow for reactions--the closest is if a survivor is standing right where Pinhead's chains are going to fire. But why ? Especially someone like Deathslinger, w25 comments 431 views last activity

Amongst other things, possibly because going round and round in circles and constantly spinning in first person is kind of unpleasant to experience. It's disorienting (obviously); no fixed frame of reference.76 comments 1,941 views last activity

I mean, think about it. If the killer doesn't kick the gen, nothing happens and its progress is maintained, so incredibly short chases are needed. If the killer kicks the gen, they spend a few seconds and lose the chase--if there's not already a lot of pressure, it won't even do anything because it only takes a tap to stop it. And so, the split: either run all the slowdown perks so getting pe5 comments 91 views last activity

Like, every killer has the same sens, but then you get things like Pinhead's chains, and it's suddenly "this tiny movement of my hand is a massive turn". Then PH's locked vertical movement making that feel super different.0 comments 21 views last activity

Seriously, do they do anything except tell one side "you're going to have a bad time"? Being able to weight the game in favour of your planned strategy before the game even starts is just imbalanced. And it's even more Bloodweb junk for all the other maps you don't want.43 comments 451 views last activity
