Just take a look at Quentin's or Feng's hair on low settings, it looks like a cheese grater went ham on it. Every other survivor has a similar effect, but some are far worse than others. I don't really understand with this huge overhaul because it doesn't improve the performance of the game at all, it just make it look a lot worse.0 comments 31 views last activity

Inner Strength- Fine as is, doesn't need changing. Fixated- It should work regardless of health state, there's no reason why it shouldn't. It should also show you every survivor's scratch marks, not just your own. That way you could play around their scratches as well as your own because their scratches could lead to you when you don't want them to. Better Together- Should be 42 meters with the9 comments 131 views last activity

All of Steve’s perks are garbage and there’s literally no point to get them. Babysitter’s time on the unhooked survivor is too short, and why the ######### does your aura get revealed to the killer (I know it's supposed to "distract" the killer, but you can do that effectively without the perk). On top of that, the killer will still be able to hear the unhooked survivor's moans and footsteps; so39 comments 471 views last activity

The title. Seriously, why isn’t it just a 45 second cooldown perk? A killer with a small TR (or hell even one with M&A) can make this perk utterly worthless. On top of that it’s just a meme perk so it’s effectiveness is small even if a killer had a large TR.4 comments 71 views last activity

So it’s no secret that the grind in DbD (especially for new players) is insane. Sure we sometimes get double BP events, but those are few and far between and they don’t fix the overall problems with the game’s massive grinding. Here’s my proposal, there are no longer tiers of perks, you only unlock tier 3 of a perk when you get it. This would cut down grinding significantly for both killer and su2 comments 32 views last activity

Lets be real, both of Ash's perks that weren't MoM (pre-nerf) were pretty bad, and now that MoM got nerfed it's equally as bad (mostly due to how inconsistent protection hits are). Buckle Up- In addition to the killer's aura being revealed 6 seconds and being able to tell how much the survivor has recovered, the perk should also give a 40% healing boost to downed survivors. Let me make one thing clear, I love this game and I have always supported the devs through buying their new DLCs when they came out and cosmetics when I could, but this new battle pass is fûcking stupid. I was super excited for the dev stream, both for the new reveals and for the nostalgic look back on the past year; but then one little announcement had to sour the whole stream. First off, who as51 comments 813 views last activity

This one is easy, buff both so that the maximum percent gain at tier 3 is 50% for each stack. So basically tier 3 of each perk would grant (50%/100%/150%/200%) boost to BP post-trial. I was thinking at first to only applying this buff to WGLF because of the smaller survivor point gain, but then someone made a good point about how the point gain would be more than a Killer with BBQC; so I figured12 comments 162 views last activity

So every exhaustion perk that isn't Sprint Burst has some sort of special addition, Balanced Landing reduces your land time, Dead Hard helps you avoid damage at the cost of speed & distance, Head On (even though it's very situational and buggy) allows you to stun the killer and hopefully get away. Lithe however has none of these factors, it's just Sprint Burst that you have to fast vault some13 comments 622 views last activity

So all that I'd change with this perk without completely reworking it would be to add a 10%/15%/20% healing speed increase to downed survivors. All the other aspects of the perk (the 48 meter range and the 6 second killer aura) would stay, it'd just have a healing buff added onto it. Side note, I'm not really sure why the perk limits the range on how far you can see the survivor's recovery prog0 comments 52 views last activity

These are the only 2 items that don’t have Ultra Rare addons (not counting firecrackers because they have no addons), so I thought I’d spitball a couple of ideas about what they could be. Key Addons: Keyring- A sturdy metal ring made to hold various keys. With this addon equipped, you will be able to hold another key if it is found in the match. If the original key is used, all addons will be tr0 comments 282 views last activity

The title, have the perk have it's own separate cooldown of 40 seconds at tier 3. Nothing else about the perk would be changed, just the timer not effecting exhaustion. HO as is is too situational and inconsistent for it to be actually effective so I don't know why they decided for it to be exhaustion based, plus if a killer uses Enduring the stun's effects are so minuscule that the perk doesn't29 comments 572 views last activity

So we all know how the BP count is maxed at 1,000,000 and that if you own perks that are in the current shrine you can either get 150,000 or 250,000 BP depending on the perk. So my proposal is that if you buy a perk from the shrine and you have points that are above 850,000 BP then your BP cap will go over 1 million so that you get the total amount of points you paid for. You still wouldn't be ab0 comments 32 views last activity

Ok the ONLY good thing about this new system is that I'm consistently getting lobbies after like 10 seconds, but that's it, everything else about it sucks and isn't worth the update. Sure I'm getting them consistently, but I'm getting 200+ ping lobbies 9 out of 10 times leading to LONGER time wasted trying to find a lobby that I can actually play in rather than wait 30 seconds to find a lobby and15 comments 432 views last activity

(I wasn’t really sure where to put this topic so I just put it under general). This wouldn’t be a “by default” thing, but I think it’d be nice to have the option (in an in-game menu) to turn off all clothing/hair physics so that lower end PCs (and maybe consoles) could gain some frames that are taken up by all the different physics based cosmetics in the game. I don’t think this would ruin immers4 comments 82 views last activity

These are some ideas that I had to make Kate's underwhelming perks better. Boil Over: So I have 2 ideas for this perk but now that DS is being nerfed the first idea that I'm proposing might actually be usable. (Idea 1): You are a battler and do everything to escape a foe's grasp. Your struggling effects on the Killer are increased by 25/50/75 %. You obscure the Killer's ability to see Hook Aur13 comments 222 views last activity

So I heard from the streamer Puppers that he heard/saw @not_Queen talking about the DS change in another stream and she said that DS would NOT have a timer. The post on these forums show that survivors will have a timer so I'm just wondering which one will be the final one. I'd personally prefer if it didn't have a timer but everything else about the change is kept, but I just need to know whic4 comments 62 views last activity

This is a revised version of a post I already did where I touched up on some of the perks to make them better. These really need a separate category where you can recover exhaustion when running with them or their timers are severely reduced (maximum being 20 seconds on some of the very rare ones). The devs mentioned about doing something with them before but never did, which sucks because the COMMON one that only has a 30 second wait is overly strong due to the fact that running negates the recovery on ex14 comments 142 views last activity

This one is really simple, just grant 4 total tokens to use instead of 3, the odd number really bothers me but having another stack would just make it that little bit more helpful. Plus every killer perk that an aura can be seen has more than just 4 uses so it wouldn't completely negate their perks.11 comments 72 views last activity

Ok so I know the only reason the devs haven’t buffed this is because they’re afraid SWF would abuse it, but here’s the thing; 4 man SWF can and will abuse other things anyway. T-bagging, flashlight clicking, and fast locker vaulting are already things they do, so why bring a perk’s usability down just because of that? It’s not like making this perk better would make that worse, it’d just be a diff2 comments 201 views last activity

Ok, so I do have ideas for Freddy’s ability itself but that would segnificantly increase this already long post, so I’ll stick to perks. I didn’t know where to post this, but balance felt like the right place. So their buff to Vigil is basically it can work for 30 more seconds after a person with it leaves the 8 meter effect range. The problem with this change is that it won’t make Vigil more used, it’d still be in the same spot it is now. My suggestion on how to change it would be to recover exhaustion while running; or have it g7 comments 91 views last activity

What I’m about to say isn’t a “decisive is fine and should stay how it is” post. This is just pointing out something that doesn’t line up with the series that the perk is based on. Is the perk a problem? With 4 man teams who are skilled survivors; yes it is a big annoyance that only the best killers could actually have a chance to play against and I do agree and think that it needs a nerf. This is really simple, buff the meter range at tier 3 to be 25 meters per dead survivor. This way, it’ll fully work with Object of Obsession again, without being a complete rework.0 comments 11 views last activity

I’m not sure if they mentioned this in a dev stream/Q&A, but why did they not apply the exhaustion change to only take place during a chase? Using exhaustion perks twice in a chase was the thing they wanted to tackle, so why’d they make it at all times? If they said why, I either missed it or forgot so sorry if the answer was out there already.4 comments 31 views last activity

So this post got deleted while I was trying to edit a spelling error, so here it is again. This is is a pretty basic change for both perks, and it’s simply to have both perks make you able to regain exhaustion while running; however Vigil will still be the only one to have the reduction percentage. Why I’d want this is because both of these perks are negatively affected by the exhaustion change17 comments 121 views last activity

EDIT: This was my original post that I thought got deleted, I prefer how I worded the other post (it has the same title), but here it is for anyone who cares. :-P This is pretty simple, have No Mither and Vigil allow you to regain exhaustion while running, but Vigil is the only one with a percent bonus. With the upcoming exhaustion update, playing with No Mither will be more difficult because you4 comments 68 views last activity

This one is pretty simple, only have the effects apply when in a chase, that way the perks can still only be used once in a chase, but can be used multiple times outside of one. Or only have the exhaustion regain change only happen to Sprint Burst.0 comments 31 views last activity

I have one suggestion, instead of immediately taking the heal back down to 0 if the SC heal is inturrupted, have it gradually degrade. It would only unheal SC heal progress and the degrading would be faster than how quickly SC heals you. By doing this, it’d still have what you’re trying to do (that being not healing in a chase/by the killer), while also letting other survivors still be able to hea0 comments 32 views last activity

I think that if you’re going to go with the “running will have exhaustion not recover” it should only apply to Sprint Burst. Applying this change to all sprint perks would nerf them too much, and it would also make Vigil virtually useless, seeing as you’d have to be walking to gain it’s effects. If you’re looking for my opinion on SB, I think it’s powerful, but not overpowered. The only change th1 comments 31 views last activity

This one is pretty simple, change the cool down timer from 40 seconds to 30 seconds. That way it’ll pair with Quick and Quiet better seeing as they’ll recharge at the same time. I don’t think this change will make the perk overpowered, it’ll just make it a little bit better. EDIT: Upon further thought (and the suggestion of a comment) I think that the time should instead be 30/25/20 like Quick an5 comments 71 views last activity

I have two ideas to make this perk less underwhelming: 1. Add a faster wiggle effect, it wouldn’t have to be much, but I was thinking between 5%-15% faster wiggle. However I see how this could be a problem in certain instances so I had a second idea that could work better than this one. 2. Increase the hook aura disabling effect. I was thinking increasing it from 14 to 25 meters. It might need f4 comments 81 views last activity

This one is pretty simple, with the skins where Dwight wears socks, could you add a different sound effect when he walks and runs so that it will actually sound like he’s wearing socks?1 comments 11 views last activity

Seeing as the perk isn’t even officially out yet, I think there’s a minor change that could make it better. Add a faster wiggle effect, it doesn’t have to be huge, in fact I was thinking it would be 15% faster at tier 3. As the perk stands now, the more effective wiggle doesn’t do much and the hook aura reduction is so small that it also doesn’t help you to not get hooked (unless you get really lu1 comments 32 views last activity

I figured that this would be the best place to put a topic like this so here it is. I think Alert’s cool down time should be decreased to 20 seconds, similar to Quick and Quiet. Alert is most helpful in chases and being alert (teehe) of where the killer is, which I think would work better with a faster cool down. This is similar to how Quick and Quiet synergies really well in chases, and I believe1 comments 12 views last activity

So I’m on the fence on this one, on one hand, the D-Strike users have to think more logically about if they should use it because it’ll put them in the injured state, but on the other hand, it’s back to the days of 4 non-obsession D-Strikes. What do you guys think? Is the change “good” or should we keep the old D-Strike?17 comments 272 views last activity
