  • Asking for myself. I plan on putting my coding skills to the test next year, and making a game that could even theoretically compete with DbD with all it's licenses would definitely be challenge enough. So, what would it take to get you to play it over Dead by Daylight?

  • The entire design of both of these maps make them frustrating to play on. I don't care if it's grass or corn, farmhouse or boat, they don't feel unique and they don't have anything actually interesting going for them other than constant annoyances for both sides. If we absolutely have to play on one of the two 70% of the time, shouldn't they be actually fun?

  • I've wanted this killer for a long time, but I couldn't think of how it would work before AI was implemented. Now I have some ideas. This could be worded better, but this is a first concept after all. I might make add-ons and add the lore later, when I have more time. Height: Average Speed: 115% Terror Radius: 24 meters The Boogeyman is an inscrutable killer, able to seemingly be

  • My filthy American currency allowed me to get pretty much every killer on the roster. I held out on Spirit, Nemesis, Twins and Trickster for various reasons. Here are my first impressions on pretty much every killer: The Shape: Actual garbage. The aggressive playstyle is made extremely painful by the lack of anti-loop, detection, or mobility in his basekit. Unless you have some great perks, o

  • Obviously some changes would need to be made, but these are just ideas. Scent masking spray - very rare A half empty bottle of scent masking spray, designed to help hunters sneak up on unsuspecting prey. Whenever a survivor disarms a bear trap, gain Undetectable for ten seconds. Bear Drawing - Rare A drawing Evan made, depicting Archie MacMillan murdering his brother. It reminds Evan o

  • You start the trial with two tokens. Whenever your aura would be shown to the killer, this perk activates and a token is consumed. For the next 3/5/7 seconds while this perk is active, your aura will not be shown to the killer, and your blood pools and scratch marks are invisible outside 32/24/16 meters. Whenever you preform a safe unhook, gain a token, to a maximum of two.

  • Hey, it's me, the entitled guy again. I noticed this recently while thinking about arguments against DH, and trying to explain why it generally feels like you've been cheated when it's used against you, and then I realized how incredibly similar it was to NOED in function if not form. I'll go over the main points, cause I don't have any skill when it comes to writing and this seems to be the o

  • So, I've seen a couple people saying that these two killers are very similar, to the point of calling Nemesis a reskin of PH. I'd like to make some comparisons between the two. (I may have a very evident bias, by the way.) Let's start with the ranged attack: PUNISHMENT OF THE DAMNED: Can consistently shoot through walls, making it a good attack for people good at prediction due to the survivo

  • I mean, if you can take the time to cleanse yourself, disarm a trap, or remove an RBT, you aren't being tunneled. The Alarm Clock and getting caught in traps would obviously not apply.

  • Don't T-bag if you've lost. If you're the only survivor left, the killer was multiple ranks below over half of the survivors, The killer wasn't running the meta, and the gates are open, you've lost. An escape for just yourself isn't a win. You've failed to help your teammates, you're being mean to someone who can't do anything about it, and you aren't even having much of an emotional impact.

  • I mean, the one that gives you the most BP for the least time or effort. As a fairly new player (started not long before last New Years) I'm currently being ######### six ways from sunday by the grind.

  • For Hag. You can't deny that we were asking for one, we just should've been a bit more specific. Isn't this what you wanted , community? Are you finally h a p p y ?

  • Well, not exactly flashlights. After going against an all rank 1 4man with three flashlights (two purple, one event exclusive), a purple toolbox, and two Twitch streamers, who gave me a lot of insight on the current state of the game, I've learned some very important things about flashlights. If the survivor really wants to, there is nothing the killer can do to not get blinded during the pick

  • So, I've only done one match with Clown, but he feels great. Although that might just be the fact that I actually got survivors that weren't way above my rank for once. Unfortunately, they were actually slightly below my rank. I was only running VHS porn and Bamboozle, which I used exactly once. I stopped to reload constantly, only used the Antidote once, after hooking the last survivor, and I m

  • For me it was Silent Hills. I'd be interesting to see if All-Kill actually did it's job and brought in the K-Pop community, or just sucked all around.

  • So, last night I was had two things to complete: chase for 180 seconds as the Executioner for a daily, and Property Damage for the tome. Both were almost done, so I decided to try to kill two survivors with one chainsaw sprint and play PH. I saw the survivors in the lobby, and I could tell that they weren't a SWF, but I could see that I was in for a rough match by the sheer amount of medkits, ev

  • P3 Claudette with a key running No Mither, Iron Will, Spine Chill and Unbreakable. Just... why? Why is this even a build? And why the actual ######### have I seen this three times?

  • If a survivor has deep wound, does it count as them being injured? Does mending count as healing (ie. if a survivor is within 20 meters of me and I'm running nurse's, I can see them mending)? Does Franklin's require you to land a basic attack, or does it work with any attack? I don't have the Doctor yet, and the wiki calls his Static Blast an attack. Does it actually deal damage?

  • Not sure if this is a bug, but if it's intentional, it's just really crappy design. I think the map was the MacMillan Estate or Coldwind Farm. Might have been Backwater Swamp. There's this tile that looks like a broken down steam shovel. There's a vault space on it, and if you vault it, you land on a hay bale. If you're in the dying state and lying on the hay bale, the killer has to go all the

  • It was clear from the start that the Devs favored survivors. After all, they're the good guys, right? So they deserved to have a good chance of escaping, even if their teammates were absolute potatoes. But how? Well, first, give them a bunch of second chance perks. It would be boring if the killer won without putting much effort in, wouldn't it? And let's make the survivors' objective faster and

  • I was playing the Cannibal the other day on Midwich Elementary, and I found a red rift. I tried to interact with it, but the progress would start and stop in almost the same instant, making it impossible to finish the interaction. I tried holding and tapping, put neither works. I came back at near the end and still couldn't finish the interaction.

  • I wanted to make a killer based off of the scrapped Teacher, but I couldn't come up with a power that fits the name "Detention" and remains original and balanced in comparison to the other killers. I came up with some perks, though. I based them off the idea of punishing inefficiency while simultaneously stalling progress, fitting the idea of an abusive, unfair teacher. Underpreform (The

  • It makes stealth killers barely viable. A quick fix with minimal effort would be to reduce the range by half or more if the killer is Undetectable. It shouldn't be that hard. Edit: Sorry, I was angry writing at the time I wrote this. I had just played Wraith, Pig and Ghostface consecutively and three survivors had Spine Chill in each match. Edit 2: I left comments down in the comments sect

  • I just had an interesting idea for a way to make the Trapper more fun and interesting: The Entity gave Evan a big, spooky hunting dog! Note that this would require BVR to make actual AI, potentially allowing an actually effective tutorial and/or even a training/practice mode. Also, line of sight would have to be fixed, thus fixing Ghostfaces power. The dog would have two modes: search and

  • I'm fairly new to the game, but I've been a fan of it for a long time. I don't have a character above level 21, so I don't have access to any teachables yet. I don't have many killers, so I would like to know which ones to power level for their perks. Some basic strategies for killers in general would be appreciated, and strategies for good ol' Pyramid Head would be even more so.
