This, and...
Hooks auras are shown to killers cause, otherwise, you should hook one only if the hook is in your face. The survivor is wiggling, its not like you have a free time to look for a hook, specially in maps like the hospital or the game.
Well, guess my idea is going down the drain π€·

Gens are not the killers objective, theyβre simply highlighted to help killers find survivors and get chases started.
By your logic if the base game should just show the auras of all gens to all survivors at all times, then survivor auras should be revealed to the killer at all times (seeing as chasing and downing survivors is the killers objective)
Killers get gens and hooks shown to them. Survivors really get nothing, that's all i'm trying to say. This was just an idea.

Or you could tilt your camera up 20 degrees and see the giant pole with the flashing lights on them.

They are definitely way too close to each other on multiple maps. Will the devs fix that? Probably not sadly, except for the new map maybe π

My whole job shut down.

How dare we consider punishing players for ruining the matches of many others
Well the issue is that it cant be fixed obviously. We tried to bring DC penalties, but people still found a way around it. That's how it will be no matter what changes in my opinion. If we can find a way to stop this though, that would be great!

I mean it would be like it is now yeah, except in stage 2 you dont have ot mash a button, you would just hang there for the time it will take.
I don't see that really stopping suicide hooks tbh. If anything it may cause more survivors to farm them for unhook points lol.
-
So, would you also wanna remove the 4% as well? And if you would wanna keep it, how would it work? Would the first hook stay the same and the second one you are just hanging there?

Let's name it:

It retains them -- if you die.
If you escape? Still lose your add-ons.
Which kind of shows how random and ill-advised this whole change was.
It's almost like they just slapped this change to "nerf" survivors, except as a killer play, I don't really care if survivors lose their add-ons or not, and as a survivor, it just annoys me. And I'm the player who doesn't use items 95% of the time anyways and if I do, it's through some meme plundering build.

Yeah i would love cross saves. I have all the dlcs on pc but my gpu just broke and now i have to play this game with 20-25 fps with everything on low, 0% resolution 4:3.
I have a ps4 and i think that i should buy the game there, but i will lost all my progress and yeah... I don't really have the money to get a new gpu (i'm a student, i have to spend my money on rent, food and other essential things)
Right. I would hate to re-purchase things I already spent my real money on π It's not like they'd really be losing money for adding cross saves because most people would still buy things. It just doesn't make any sense why it's not a thing. Unless they really are just money hungry.

@LifeQuestions said:
I feel as if they're doing this because they don't know what to do for the people that have bought stuff on multiple different platforms, I wouldn't really understand/agree with any other reason.
I wish they'd stop leaving this subject on edge and just give us an answer.

My question, is where do his powers come from? How did he become the bing bong banshee boi?
His lore simply states he killed a man, then disappeared. Why is he a ghost man with a bell?
He rang bell once and said he wanted to be a bing bong boy for the entity.

Idk what else you'd want about Wraith other than he desperately needs a buff. Yellow windstorm as base kit when... Literally everybody's been asking for a buff for him for the past 2 years because without a windstorm add-on he's abysmal. He's basically Man With Stick without it because he's so slow. Even with add-ons he's not good at all but he's passable. If you get a quick down he can be alright, he excels at the "Down, hook, repeat" formula.
I wasn't asking for improvements on him. I just wanted to make a troll discussion about him.

Wait you need to buy the DLC? When I started it was already available.
Console versions made that possible. Ace and feng/hag and doctor were available when you bought the "special edition." On PC, you have to purchase all DLC's.

I've played so long I'm happy to see a new, fun killer and not just a hybrid of powers. But he will drop off after a week or two, he wasnt that PTB strong so in high levels itll be a hard find
I'm curious to see how the players that wanna get good with him will play him. I wonder if he'll be impossible to beat with the right build.
-
I made a post with a video of this happening π€£ππ

@twistedmonkey said:
You will see him a lot to start with.
I think the new survivor will be more popular than the killer.
With him being an fps shooting killer with iron sight it will draw a certain crowd.
They look good and imo have great potential but they don't have the initial map pressure of others.
I think those who wish to play around will enjoy him for a while and probably build them into a rotation but those that want to win at all costs will probably go back to their mains.
He seems very fun to play imo, but you're right about him not being great at map pressure sadly. A lot of people will not play him just for that reason like you said, but he seems different with the chain gun and he seems more interesting... Once again imo π€·

@NullEXE said:
Perks are meh, and the killer is unique, but it's true he is a weaker huntress. So if you want him because you want to only play strong killers - than no. If you want to be the Ahab Moby Dick of the wild west - than yes.
But the survivor perks are not only game breaking, but comes with a strong/memeing perk for swf, or just memeing perk for solo. So if you play survivor at all, take the DLC to level Zarina.

@Yamaoka said:
Deathslinger will be one of those killers that are gonna be rare because most people will struggle to dominate with him. Some people however will put many hours in him and become beasts as with most "underdog" killers.
The vast majority will go back to stronger killers eventually, though - especially after a couple bad games with the Deathslinger.
I wanna see some players do really well with him, he seems fun imo... π€·
-
@tactic said:
It usually happens that whenever a new killer is released, they become a very common sight for the next week or so. (Oni was kind of an exception however)
I'll probably buy him myself; his ability looks fun to use. He does seem a bit on the weaker side tho imo
I've been hearing that he's weaker compared to other killers from a lot of different people. That's why I'm curious to see if people will even consider buying him.

Survivor: Quinton
Killer: Pig
-
It would obviously be more powerful for obvious reasons, but so many people pay attention to whose being chased and where the killer is so Idk if it would really change THAT much. Honestly, it may save survivors some time because they won't be out looking for the hex, they'll just be on gens.
Although, my view on that could all be wrong of course ππ€·
-
My tactic on prestiging was weird. I kept the main survivors I played at level 50 with good builds, then I prestiged the one's I never played and got them to P3 level 50 with better builds. I then turned it around and started playing them and prestiged my main one's fully and since then I've just been prestiging the new characters asap π€·
I also never prestiged any of my killers, I just got them to like level 45 and that got them all at good builds, so I just saved my blood points I got from playing killer and spent them on my survivors.
-
Not sure. I was playing killer as a green rank and I was getting some red and higher purple ranks earlier today π€·π
-
@hitboxmehard said:
People say that deathslinger is like the huntress but I think he needs to hit the survivor then get them with his projectile but I haven't played him.
The only thing that makes him similar to huntress is that he has a ranged attack. That's about it I believe.
-
The key is designed to open the hatch. You wanna design it to where it's not supposed to do what its meant for?
-
I spent $10 on an outfit that used to be new and now it's like $7.50-$6.50 or something. Idk if I consider it unfair because it's obviously older now, but $10 is too much for one outfit in my opinion π€· Just wait for the price to go down I guess π€

As long as its optional i dont see an issue. While I feel PC players will have an advantage playing as killer those who wish too can simply uncheck the cross play option and can play only with the platforms they choose too.
Making cross play optional is definitely needed. All I want from this honestly though, is my old account on another platform ππ I miss it so much

Summed it all up for me, and to add on, I believe you will have your worse moments playing survivor because your teammates can dictate your life.
You can get killed by NOED when you cleansed 4 of 5 totems because your teammates didn't help you cleanse the 5th totem.
If you get unlucky, the killer can just take you out of the game instantly if they decide to use an Ebony Mori or want to camp you at 1st hook, 5 generators.
Stuff like this makes survivor less and less appealing to me.
As killer, you can't get camped nor need to rely on your teammates. If you're good, you will have a decent time more often than you would playing survivor. π
All of this about killer is very true. Playing with randoms as survivor is a risk I just don't wanna take most of the time ππ

I used to main killer, it was great bein in a chase, havin to use brain power on what their next move would be, tryin to outplay them, mind ######### were great until i got to a certain rank then:
βͺ i was FL flicked
βͺ Teabagged for no reason
βͺ Body blockin
βͺ Squadettes
βͺ gg ez
I went to survivor and thinkin on goin back to killer
βͺ Faceamped (i'll understand a camp at endgame)
βͺ Slugged (i'll understand a slug at endgame if u wanna sweat for a 4k then fair enough)
βͺ Tunneled (sorry but the removin the weakest link bs i won't buy into, extremely unfair to render someone gameplay experience like that)
βͺ BM on hook for no reason (assumin they take a pallet slap that hard to their soul maybe? I won't stand and give a free hit)
I don't play toxic and yet still all of the above happen %80 of the time? I get perhaps if many have had alot of toxicity off survivours, i've expierenced alot of it when i played killer, but don't punish us all for it.
The killer acting that way for no reason is literally just the way that person is π One time I had this michael trying to farm and we went with it, but he killed one of the randoms because they wanted to be chased and he got mad? Lmao π³π€·

@Peasant said:
I prefer killer because of several factors:
1.) I get paid more BP to play killer.
2.) My victory is entirely up to me, I don't need to worry about my "teammates" getting in the way
3.) Each killer has different stats or a different power so I can feel confident that I'll find a killer that I enjoy playing.
The amount of blood points I can earn as killer is always way more than I can earn as survivor in the end, no matter how bad I play π€£π€·

I feel too guilty when I play killer. I play for the panic, not the perpetrator.
Not to mention I think the cosmetics are cuter. Which is obvious, due to how the game isβ but if itβs cute and snazzy and I feel great wearing it, Iβm gonna probably stick to wearing that. Cosmetics mean a lot to meβ and if Iβm dying, Iβm dying pretty.
