This is not even good fix to DS. Biggest issue most killers and even survivors have with it that you can aggressively use it. Once you have DS active you can run to killers face repairing generator next to him, and this puts killer to lose, lose situation, as he needs to waste time pushing you off of the generator, down you, then waste time slugging as you can use unbreakable, soulguard or alternative is then just eat DS
Simple fix is that DS remains the same but it will de-activate if you go touch a generator. You aren't being tunneled if you can repair gens.
what you said can literally be done rn. And you aren’t changing ds to be an actual anti tunneling perk. How is it anti tunnel if the killer can hit me right off hook and just simply wait 60 seconds then pick me up? This discussion is to find a way for it to be fair for everybody not just better for 1 side

I didn't say the perk fixes camping, I said tunneling. So yeah.
Omg if the killer is camping me and somebody unhooks me he can tunnel me. To your suggestion of having it deactivate when another person is hooked just should simple not be implemented into the game. There are plenty of ways to go around it

Crawl away, use tenacity, have borrowed time. You can't balance around idiots. "What if my teammate shows the killer I am using inner strength in a locker" welp I guess inner strength is a useless perk now... Do you see how this is a bad argument?
Orrrr if the killer is camping me and my teammate has no choice but to unhook me in front of the killer. Let’s use our brains here, I didn’t think I had to mention the obvious. And borrowed time doesn’t work if I’m the one on the hook lmao. This is discussion about changing DS not finding other ways to go around the bad development

Starting a thread with "If you have a different opinion than me, you are wrong!" Is not a good way to start a discussion.
It was a misuse of words, I meant if you don’t think implementing stuff like this is the correct way then don’t bother even commenting. I’ve seen soo many people throughout my years of looking at DS discussions suggest the most asinine things. A common one is suggesting that ds deactivates when another survivor gets hooked. Only a selfish killer main would suggest that because if you’ve ever played survivor for no more than 2 days you would have 100% came across a teammate who unhooks you right in front of the killer only for the killer to hit you and down you and then go chase the guy who unhooked you, only to down him then hook him and then come back to hook you because you now don’t have ds.
I meant if you don’t think along these lines then you’re just a selfish killer or survivor main. Because there is no possible other way ds can be reworked for it to be fair. Besides the argument of it deactivating when doing gens.
but let’s keep the discussion about ds and not add useless comments to it, filling up the pages.

If a survivor does anything except run for their life, they are not being tunneled. Deactivate DS if they do any sort of non-chase action like touch a gen, touch an exit gate, start to unhook someone, etc. It's moments like getting stabbed by a healed survivor going for an unsafe unhook that make me want to burn the game to the ground.
As a killer, the 60 second timer feels like forever. As a survivor, 60 seconds feels like nothing. So, I guess leave the timer as it is.
yeah that could be a fair change except don’t include exit gates in that and it would be better

Then you need to reach red ranks outside of peak times where the boosties aren't playing or play SWF.
Oh so I need to play a certain times of the month or I need to play with friends? You see how ridiculous that sounds? And I am in red ranks. There are plenty of tunnelers and campers.

@JackTheMimic said:
Why make this more complicated? Ds activates when unhooked, stays active until another survivor gets hooked or the stun is used. Boom done. You may not hook a single survivor twice in a row without getting stunned. Killer Counterplay? Go hook someone else. You can down the one you just hooked but then hook someone else. If you can only catch the same person then eat the stun and hook them again. Why make all these quirky rules. The point is to discourage tunneling not give a survivor a free escape.
Do you even play survivor? Like at all? Because there must’ve been at least a dozen times where a stupid teammate unhooks you right in front of the killer without borrowed time and the killer hits you and you go down. Then the killer chases the guy who unhooked you, downs him, hooks him, then comes back to hook you. “Boom done.” You no longer get to use DS. This discussion is for it to be fair on both sides, not for it to be fair on one side.

The problem with your post is that camping and tunneling is a LOSING strategy. Abusing DS 9 out of 10 times by a good team will bag them the win. It encourages unsafe, bad plays (when combined with other meta perks). Alone it doesn't do much.
That is absolutely not true at all

That is absolutely not true at all. I’ve played plenty of games where the killer camped and won and I’ve played plenty of games where the killer tunneled and won. I’ve played 3x more of those amount of games where there killer did both and won. It’s actually an easy winning tactic.

Decisive Strike activates each time you are unhooked.
While Decisive Strike is active and you are picked up by the killer, you immediately stun the killer for 5 seconds, gain a 7% Haste status effect for 20 seconds, and become the Obsession.
Decisive Strike is disabled if any of the following happen:
-You begin working on a generator or an exit gate
-You begin cleansing a totem
-You heal or are healed by another survivor for one health state
-You unhook another survivor
Increases your chances of being the Killer's Obsession.
The Killer can only be obsessed with one survivor at a time.
Post this on another DS thread. This is undeniably the best direction for DS
Edit: Notice: no timer, no skillcheck
so all I have to do is just not heal, not touch a gen, not do a totem, and I’m literally untouchable until the end of the game? There’s no timer?

Wraith follows you around for 30 seconds cloaked off the hook. Pig crouches while following you for whatever time is remaining. Your DS is now deactivated.
I happen to run into you and don't believe it's been 30 seconds so I moonwalk near you for the time I believe to be remaining. Your DS is now deactivated.
Making it pause in chase while halving the standard time is just too abusable by a killer that knows what they're doing. It's the same reason Legion's mend got reworked. Not to mention some survivors will sprint around in range of chase just to keep it active while holding a flashlight or threatening a pallet save.
So I agree, maybe the stopping of the timer is too much. But how is that much different than how the killers can easily go around DS? Following somebody around for 50 seconds then downing them, downing them right away then waiting 60 seconds to pick them up, chasing them and waiting 50 seconds as they wait in a locker. Don’t bother answering that I was just showing how killers can go around DS right now. But if you look at my 3 examples in the original, how can we make those 3 things not happen without making survivors not abuse it? More specifically the one about getting killed right off of hook. How can we make it so that the killers can’t sit there and watch somebody take you off the hook and then hit you and down you and wait 60 seconds to pick you up. Because I find that to be extremely cheap and the only buff that DS actually needs

That's not being a smart ass, it's pointing out flaws and making a case as to why a change would be bad overall despite it having good intentions. I've posted my own suggestions elsewhere plenty of times that are very similar to MythMage's.
Yeah Wraith and Pig could do that now but it would take them 60 seconds as opposed to 30 plus a bit depending on how good the survivor/killer are at playing loops and how good the map is. 30 seconds is very valuable gen time for your teammates if the killer wants to tunnel someone out.
If you change it to be based on proximity to the killer you'll get people that just get off the hook and run to body block the killer constantly and the killer cannot pick them up. Now you pair it with unbreakable/soul guard and it creates gameplay abusable by SWFs that isn't healthy.
I understand that, that’s why I didn’t suggest that. But you haven’t given me any good ideas to do. You just claimed that killers can turn around while chasing you for 30 seconds, but that is 30 seconds the killer has to chase you instead of just downing the guy as soon as he gets off the hook. Because the DS timer would pause and he would still have DS. So technically my way is still a buff for survivors rather than how it is now in some situations. I understand what you’re saying and forgot about how people used to turn around to avoid the mending from legion

An anti tunnel perk shouldn't also be an anti slug perk, if it pauses on the ground it should also be disabled if someone else gets hooked
That makes no sense. I could easily hit somebody as soon as they get unhooked and then down the unhooker and hook him and then go back to the guy I instantly tunneled off hook and hook him since he now has no DS.
this is exactly what I’m talking about, you’re coming from the selfish killer side of it, not even realizing that if you were just camped into struggle mode and then taken off and instantly hit with no chance whatsoever and then all I had to do was just hook the guy who unhooked you to describe your perk how would you feel?
You make fun of my ending comment in my post but you just proved my point thank you lmfao

i was actually going to say it should be if they are within 12-16 meters of you but I figured people would complain. So you want to extend the time more than 30 seconds but how is that a nerf at all? With so many people complaining about DS it will eventually get nerfed so might as well find our own solutions now instead of trying to be a smart ass

It has been already too tedious to unlock all the Survivor or Killer perks on a single character, while at the same time trying to get P3 which is nothing but some bloody cosmetics not even worth the 800'000+ Bloodpoints a prestiege level - a year ago, but now with new chapters coming out so quickly. It has become even more tedious, and even more of a waste of bloodpoints to level characters. The Archives has been a nice pick up, and so has the events that we more often have now - as well as rewards for contribution/matience/social media . Though even with those we are still finding that getting bloodpoints to level the characters we want to be too strenuous.
I think it's time, or in the near future - for another Bloodweb rework.
I think it could be easily solved with a simple solution. Just remove Prestiege Levels. You get the bloody outfit for a character when you level them to level 50 the first time. Though that doesn't solve the problem of how fast you can unlock all the perks on a character. I also advise that you stop the entity from taking other perks from the bloodweb when you consume a perk. So you have at least a chance to consume 3-4 perks on a single page. Another good idea is reduce the amount of nodes on a single page, so you can complete a page faster and get to consume more perk nodes faster.
Any other ideas?
the blood webs are actually fine the way they are. I feel like I’m going pretty fast through them getting the perks. Maybe you don’t play enough or something, but I do definitely think that games need a BP increase. It’s soo bad going from a double bloodpoint weekend back to playing normally. It feels like the double bloodpoint weekends SHOULD be the normal, but that might be too much if they have bloodpoint weekends so maybe just a little more. Like 40k max or something

I don't have a clue? you are now trying to bring examples of the governement in on this thread? 1) the xbox series x is a different platform than the xbox one. 2) there are less xbox series x users than the xbox one users. 3) "PC doesn't need to turn crossplay off???" well when cross play was implemented you saw posts here how crappy people thought it was to be "FORCED" to play against the crappy console players (which I know there are some GREAT console players) so they turned their crossplay off. what did it do? it increased the lobby times for them. this part of what i have said before was to show that turning crossplay off has the same end result. I did not compare times between them and what not.
if you have issues for the fact the series x is a different platform then take that up with microsoft who MADE it different. you might say windows 2000, xp, 7, 8, and windows 10 are all different platforms! for a game that ran on windows xp it needs a program called dosbox to run on windows 10. this is an endless argument because you don't know crap about pc's apparently since you think that pc's don't HAVE to turn it off... but what does that have to do with the price of tea in china? Microsoft made xbox series X a different platform with new coding and that makes the program called dead by daylight act differently since it requires different coding to work. it is you two who do not understand that you were buying a different platform or just blissfully ignored it. by your logic behavior is making people upgrade their systems and consoles to get the NEW graphics! guess what, you're not complaining about that because you are the ones benefiting from it.... so I guess I really don't know anything about this what so ever.
Bro ######### are you talking about?? I never once brought up the new consoles. I’m talking about consoles in general. I don’t even have either of the new consoles. And yes I talked about the government to give you another example because you obviously aren’t getting the other examples we were giving you. And obviously you still haven’t gotten them. But if OP is talking about how he is forced to use cross play to connect to other Xbox consoles then that’s on him, his original post comment made it sound like he is mad about cross play in general not that he has to use it to connect to other Xbox users

You are the one acting like a spoiled child. I am a PC player, you called me a potato and a cheater just because i play on pc doesn't mean i'm either, I don't want to play with an elitist so please turn crossplay off as I don't want to hear you whine. Now wanna talk about platforms? on the PC there are several platforms, but only two have dead by daylight. first is Steam, and players connect through the steam/valve connections, next you have the microsoft store and they are considered cross-platform because they go through the microsoft servers. (other pc platforms: Epic (hairball), GoG, Origin, direct pc (installed directly on pc not through a platform) and all of these are cross-play if they have dead by daylight). Xbox has 3 current active platforms: 360, one (all the series of the one) and now Xbox series X. these three are cross-platform to each other. Play station has the ps3, ps4 and ps5 I am pretty sure that the ps5 is considered cross platform to the ps4. but i have no hard data as no one from there has complained.
Now your point is that you get no games or it takes ages to get a match? well if xbox series x sold a million copies alread of the console i'd say there might be 1000-4000 people playing dbd at any one time, possibly more but they don't share stats like steam does! Behavior did not make it cross-play between the series x and the one, they made their software to recognize the differences between the various servers running them and that means microsoft has separated the consoles for some reason, it is not behavior's making though they MIGHT be able to fix that I don't know. You re-write your argument each time you say it, originally and many other times you complain about long wait times then in the same post to me you complain about not being able to play at all. The option for cross-play is on by default actually mirrors your cell phone. imagine that when you buy a cell phone they turn the cell connection off because they don't want people to be charged more because they make calls well these people get a cell phone and call it defective and so the cell phones are connecting to cellular signals by default to prevent this. cross-play is on by default to give people the best chances to get matches. You can turn it off so thus you have a choice, the consequences of that choice is for you to deal with, not behavior trying to stop you from doing anything.
Yes there are a lot of modders and hackers. Way more than there is on consoles ;) and you can find your own proof.
but the OP was talking about how cross platform is automatically activated so if he wanted to play on Xbox servers only he would have to turn it off. But in order for him to only get paired up with Xbox players, other Xbox players would have to also turn off cross platform but most people won’t do that or even realize it’s there. I found a few lobbies with cross platform turned off but I do agree that it’s stupid for it to be automatically turned on. It’s basically forcing you to play cross platform because this game takes a while to find lobbies already, and with 85% of the community with cross platform automatically activated and left on, it makes it so much longer to find a game.

forcing it would be having crossplay on and not being able to turn it off. if the option exists to turn it off then it is NOT forced. pc has longer queue times just like the consoles.
If the game has 100,000 players playing at any one time over all platforms, and you turn off crossplay you will not have 100,000 players to match to.... that would be silly and mathematically impossible. here: steam: 50K, xbone 20K, ps4 20K, ps5 and series X 5K each so remove the other platforms you must have less than the total!
You’re just going on and on about the same thing and not even listening to a word anybody else is saying. I’ll explain it one last time and if you still don’t understand then I’m done. PC players have all the advantages, they don’t need to turn crossplay off. They have better aiming, graphics, load times, etc. they already have their own hackers and can’t gain more by turning crossplay on. Even if they turn it off they will still have their own hackers. So stop comparing PC to this because you obviously have no clue what you’re talking about. Secondly there are DIFFERENT KINDS of “FORCING” if the government controls you and they only give you 2 options to choose from. Option 1 is you pay $200 for a burger and that’s it and option 2 is you have to wait on a longggg line for a small amount of food where you might not even have a chance to get any of the food that day. It could be 2 days from now, is that forcing? Are they forcing you to pay $200? No, but that option will have a lot of downsides like making you go broke, etc. and the other is that you won’t be able to eat for a long time.
they forced it by making it automatically activated so people like myself wouldn’t care enough to turn it off.
there is 0 reason for you to turn off cross platform on PC and a dozen reasons for you to turn it off on console. If you really can’t comprehend that then.. idk..

this is the SAME as pc.... what is different? please? tell me? i turn it off and it takes forever for me to get a match too... yet I don't complain why? because i keep it on because i get more matches that way.... nothing different than console.it is a fallacy that if you turn it off, you only play against others that have it off and only others, that is not true. i've talked with people in the lobbies where it's all steam and i found some have it off yet i had crossplay on. funny that when i'm in crossplay i get put in matches with people that have crossplay off. this person just wants to whine that he can't play anymore because it takes too long. it's the option they want to take so they have to accept what will happen.
The difference is that PC has all the advantages over console. I honestly shouldn’t even need to be explaining that part to you.. and yes and no, it is the option they want to have, BUT it’s because the devs made him choose between the 2 options by forcing it

In a way it is punishing console players that don’t want it. Before cross play came out you could find lobbies within a couple minutes on console. Then they came out with cross platform, and maybe some people just don’t want to play cross platform so they turn it off. But since it’s automatically activated most of the dbd players will just keep it on. So now 80% of the players are cross platform on console which means the person who doesn’t want to play cross platform was punished for no reason. And the main reason why these people still have cross platform on was because they didn’t care enough to turn it off. I think OP just wants it the other way around. If it was automatically turned off and had to be activated it would be a fair deal because that means a lot of people who just not activate it which means they have more players on their own system/platform, but if they do activate cross platform they also gain a lot of other platform from ALL platforms. So everybody gets what they want

you are not being punished for deciding to not play in cross play. however you must accept what happens when you take that option. for instance you go to a restaurant and order a burger, their description says that it has onion on it and you hate onion (this is me here) since you asked for the burger but forgot to say "No onion" is the restaurant punishing you for not telling them to take the onion off (since that is an option you can do)? NO they are not punishing you, you made a decision and you have to deal with the consequences of said decision. if you want cross-play off you get longer wait times, that is the norm on ALL PLATFORMS with the option off. this is not a punishment it is the reality. You need to reconnect, and btw you did not say your general experience until now, your post says I don't want to play with pc and ps4 people as they are potatoes and cheaters. this is not you saying your experience it is saying that you don't want to play with the platforms because of that and that lumps all pc and ps users into this grouping. so get over yourself and make your choice, stand by it and wait for more xbox one people to get the money for their series x console and then it won't be so bad.

And you shouldnt complain about bots as teammates, when you think Doc is op you are a bot too.
Rank 1 means nothing, i play Rank 1 solo since two years and i met so many rank 1 bots.
You’re a bot. Doctor is “OP” in the sense that he can counter everything. “OP” doesn’t mean he has to be extremely broken. And obviously you’re a bot if you think he’s not, or you just get paired up with bots. But I’m talking about going against good players here, not against the bots you go up against that made you rank 1

Why does Oni need a buff?
As of now, Oni starts as an m1 killer, and has quite literally nothing helping him to get his power. Currently, at a passive charge rate of 0.2 charges per second it takes a lengthy 500 seconds for Oni to get his power without blood orbs. As an m1 base kit 115 killer, you have nothing helping you in chase. Assuming that the Oni is chasing a survivor, 3 generators will already pop in 80 seconds, 2 generators will likely be finished 60 seconds later assuming that 2 people double up on one generator (45 seconds), and then go to help the other survivor who has already started a gen. In total, this is 140 seconds of the 500 seconds Oni needs for his power where the game is essentially already over. Because this is unrealistic I'll add an extra 60 seconds for time to get on generators which then becomes 200 seconds of the total 500 seconds. The reason this is able to happen is because Oni has nothing going for him in chase as an m1 killer, and the survivor getting chased can just throw down pallets and vault a few jungle gym windows.
How the devs should go about buffing Oni:
It's a pretty simple change. Oni just needs to start the match with 90% of his power gauge filled.
How will this change likely effect gameplay for both sides?
Instead of the lengthy 500 seconds for the power to passively charge at the beginning of the match, it will take a much shorter 50 seconds. This way it gives the survivors time to figure out who the killer is and be prepared, but also gives the Oni a chance to use his power to get ahead of good survivors during the match.
This also creates an interesting dynamic where survivors know that the Oni will have his power soon so they need to try to split up the map at the beginning. If they're able to outlast his power it is actually the Oni's fault for either activating his power without seeing a survivor or not having enough skill to use demon dash to down a survivor. Once being unhooked or picked up from the ground, Oni will be able to start re building his power up with blood orbs and the trial will be fun and interesting.
The survivors can try to stop the Oni from getting his power a second time by quickly healing each other. This way, both sides are rewarded for playing well.
Counter-Arguments to this change:
Argument #1 - A 115 killer has an easy time getting a hit on a survivor.
This is only true when the survivor player either makes way too many mistakes or simply doesn't know what they're doing. This change to Oni won't make gameplay for newer survivors feel much different or too overpowered because Oni would've likely gotten a hit that quick into the match vs unskilled survivors anyway.
Argument #2 - Oni can catch survivors out of position.
Oni has a 32m terror radius by default which is 24m with the perk, Monitor and Abuse. With how easily trackable Oni is by survivors (loud footsteps, big model, appealing visual effects, large terror radius, etc.) it's completely on the survivor for being caught out of position.
Thanks for reading,
Squill
Maybe learn how to outsmart survivors and actually play as oni better instead of complaining. One does definitely not need a buff.

how when he slows me down with his shock wave and doesn’t let me throw down the pallet? You’re a clown lmfao. I know how to loop and could probably do it 10x better than you. Doctor is definitely an op killer.

Oh my gosh doctor is so op I had everyone shocked and I am hitting them. Oh nevermind this David is dodging my shocks. And they are still hitting through skill checks with my lullaby. And they all escaped. Doctor is not an OP killer annoying sure. But Op he isn't he's mid- tier. Don't like doctor that much bring Spine Chill or Calm Spirit.
If you don’t like not hitting David king with your shock wave just don’t miss simple. or just don’t use your shock wave. Simple. See how that sounds? Yes I will definitely be sure to bring calm spirit every game just for the chance of me getting the doctor. How about you just making the survivors not be able to get the lullaby skill checks? That solves your problem

You're missing my point. One player can't carry an entire team.
You need to have a decent TEAM to win in this game.
i know that but this game is meant for solo queue. Even with a decent team, avoiding a doctor who knows what they’re doing is impossible. Even if you happen to get away you just scream and the doctor knows where you are. You can think the doctor isn’t OP but trust me, his is. And this isn’t how you gain new players.

Ok so I'm checking The Doctor's power description and nowhere does it say, "Gives the survivors bad teammates"
Just because you're getting bad teammates doesn't mean The Doctor is op. This is a TEAM game when you're playing as survivor, and if all 3 of your teammates are bots, you will lose unless the killer is also a bot.
So we have to god tier to play this game? That’s the most idiotic thing I’ve ever heard

Calm spirit also stops you from screaming...
Also don't loop in a single place against doctor, chain multiple different loops together. He slows down when charging a shock, allowing you to go between loops, shocking also resets bloodlust. Drop pallets early and take distance when needed.
youre right, I didn’t even think about calm spirit. Next time I see that it’s the doctor in the pre game lobby I’ll throw on calm spirit before it starts

I am a rank 1 Doc.
If i play against Doc it usually takes 3-4 gens before he even shocks me for the first time. The trick is A: Stay out of his terror radius and B: Have a feeling for timing and when he is about to shock in a moment just go into a locker.
Doc has "impossible skill checks" builds, but i have zero issues hitting his skill checks and i know from my own matches that other more experienced survivors also don't have the slightest problems with that.
When the skill checks are too much for you just bring him to get you into madness 3 so you can snap out of it. This takes nothing but a few seconds and is very easy to do...
You act like we have all the time in the world to do these things. I’m a rank 1 survivor and almost every single lobby I get into there’s at least 2 bots in the lobby. We need to be working on generators as much as we can, so I can not just sit in his terror radius for a long time to get tier 3. Along with that, the players are bots and go down extremely fast so i can’t just wait time sitting in his terror radius and once the guy getting chased gets hooked he will most likely come to the nearest gen if I’m working on it. That or he will use his static blast and find me. And then I’ll be tier 3 and keep screaming giving out my location. This is all the same thing as get better, something that just can only be done 20% of the time instead of just nerfing a character who is OP.
He wouldn’t be as OP and annoying if he couldn’t shock you before you get to a pallet causing you not to be able to throw it down.

I've encountered this as survivor about twice a month since mid 2019 on ps4. I made a bug report this past May, updated it about a week later when it happened again. I went to find my post to link it here but looks like it was deleted. 😒
Wow, I’ve played this game a lot for the past 2-3 years and it’s never happened to me. That sucks. I’ve literally been running into soo many different bugs this past week it’s crazy

thats how a pass works. in every game the pass is ment to have people play the game. i dont get what the issue is
One of the most successful games ever, the game that basically made every game I play have a “pass” system after they got billions of dollars from their players. Fortnite. I haven’t played in like a year and a half to 2 years but when I did play you could wait until the very last week of the battle pass and simply play the game casually and get to tier 100, if not extremely close. You can do multiple challenges at once and plenty of them were simple. Just literally playing the game.
but I’m DBD you can only do 1 challenge, and some are pretty hard. Not 1 person in this discussion thread has said “make the pass automatically give us tier 70” because we obviously know that the pass is meant to have people play the game, the issue is that THIS pass in THIS game is extremely grindy. Way more than it needs to be. Just simply lower the grind a bit. When I can play a match and get 600xp and sometimes not even get a 1 out of the 10 I need to get a tier. That’s bs.
I just counted all 4 levels of the last tome. If you complete every single challenge you will get 351 shards which equals 35 tiers. Only half of the tiers in the pass. Now obviously you get points for playing the game while doing those challenges so let’s say all 82 challenges take 2 games to complete. Which isn’t true, some might take 1, some might take 3 maybe even 4. But I’ll just say 2 because the average player won’t do every single challenge there is. With me saying that you get 1 out of 10 shards for every game you complete, which isn’t true either, that brings you to 515 shards which is only tier 51. Even with taking 4 games to complete each challenge you still won’t reach tier 70. You’ll only get tier 67 with 679 shards. And that’s still with me giving way extra xp, etc, than the game itself gives you.
now I could be wayy off because I don’t pay attention to how everything works exactly but I think I’m right. But the point is, is that the rift is wayy too grindy. It should be way easier to get. Not “extremely easy” but just a little easier.
extra note (I could be totally wrong) but if I was correct and am still correct, then doing all 82 challenges with 4 games for each of them would mean you need to play 328 games. I would guess the rift is open for about 55 days so that means you need to play at least 6 games a day, every single day, with each game you trying to go for a challenge and completing 1 by the end of each 4th game. and some people just can’t do that.
but like I said, I could be totally wrong. I honestly just wanted to see if I could do the math myself and figure all of this out but I’m probably wrong. Point is, the grind is too much

me saying tier 49 was an example of someone like me who goes to school and has other things to do aswell can get this pass done pretty fast and even u being tier 40 is fast as ur more than half the way will having like 3/4 of the time left. this is why imo its not a grind. god like a tier a day is really not that hard and thats without the challenges.
Yeah me being tier 40 is far and good. But that’s with me literally not doing anything else but playing this game right now. My point was that I probably play like 5 hours a day, some days way more. So by you saying you’re tier 49 means you probably come home from school and play until you sleep everyday. And plenty of people just can’t do that. Simple. The grind is the rift is actually what made me stop playing this game for like 8 months. It’s like you’re FORCED to play this game. And when you have a job and other things to do, you simply have to go for as many challenges as you can and only going for challenges each game can get really frustrating and annoying. Enough to make people want to just not do them. It wouldn’t hurt to just make each game give 1200 xp instead of a max of 600 xp or whatever it is. They’re still getting the money from people who buy the rift anyway. Plus more people would be getting tier 70 so more people would be inclined to get it

i hate that people moan its a grind even though it really isnt.im already tier 49 with no paid tiers and thats with like 40-50 days left. the pass even if it was a grind is ment to be. its like an investment almost. u put 8 pound towards it and well play the game for a select period of time to get like 5-7 sets plus charms and other goods if u care about that which is a lot more profit than u all realise. also you get the auric cells back for the next pass.
basically what im saying is that we dont need this. people who get the pass are expected to stay and not just ditch the game lmao. anyway thats my thoughts on it
I’ve played this game every single day for hoursss since the rift came out. I’ve done every challenge available. And I’m still only 40. So by you saying you’re at tier 49+ doesn’t mean anything. Just because you no life the game and other people don’t doesn’t mean they don’t have a right to complain. The rift IS definitely Grindy. The stupidest part about it is that you can only choose 1 challenge at a time. I get it, but wish it was all challenges, or at least 2. Then along with that, you literally barelyyy get any shards for actually playing. They should definitely give you double the amount of points towards shards, it’s wayy too slow. You literally have to either no life it like you or do every single challenge in all 4 levels (and you still won’t get tier 70 if you just go for challenges and complete them fast, like boost for them).
but anyway being tier 49 doesn’t mean anything lmfao all it means is that you’re constantly playing. There’s people out here with jobs and other things to do. Sorry bud

Exhaustion add-ons are still in the game to force you to rely on your skill and not a perk to survive. If you need an Exhaustion to survive chases, then that's entirely on you and you deserve to be punished for it. Clown, Huntress, Pig and Demogorgon should keep theirs and Doctor should get his back somehow. I wouldn't mind if every Killer had a way of inflicting Exhaustion on Survivors. It'll separate the actual good Survivors from the ones who get carried.
Except when a clown throws a bottle at you and you move very slowly and you get exhausted. And then the clown keeps throwing a bottle at you any chance he gets and can easily catch up. So obviously you don’t know a thing of what you’re talking about. We are talking red ranks here, not little boy green ranks buddy. You’re a bad troll

I wish they'd remove hook suicide so the people who don't want to play the game they voluntarily bought and queued up for would just quit playing altogether or get banned from dcing so all us non quitters can enjoy an actual normal 1v4 without people giving up over one little thing they don't like. Not to mention all the people who say they don't want to be forced to play never offer any solution for killers who have no equivalent to dying on hook
one of the worst things the could have is no hook suicide and DC penalties in the game at the same time. Sorry that 1 too many people DC on you both that doesn’t change the fact that it’s used for multiple reasons

You can a huge majority, only a few are locked. Oni’s Minotaur would look terrible if you could mix (sword would look cool tho). Bunny Legion would also have disproportionate bodies. Nea’s locked skin kind of makes sense since its a hoodie. Same with Kate’s Oktoberfest cosmetic, it being a dress and all. Others are legendary, so you’d basically be merging to survivors into one
Well yeah I understand that if it’s locked because of a hoodie and stuff like that, but legion is locked because of his head being disproportionate to his body? I mean that’s basically why I would want to mix and match his outfit. It would be hilarious to have that huge bunny head with a regular persons body. And as for Oni’s Minotaur looking terrible, it doesn’t matter if it looks terrible, some people might like it. I get what you’re saying but still think it would be cool. Unless it’s 2 parts combined as 1 like with nea’s hoodie

On the contrary. I can tell that this is one of the top floors. Meaning that you can jump out of it and if you have balanced landing you basically disappear for the killer. For anyone else I guarentee you can gain enough distance on the killer if they vault through it to get back to the window and do it until it gets blocked. Maybe even break chase so it doesn't get blocked which would 100% make it an infinite.
Second, if I DC no one else will be bothered. But I like to voice my opinion here so that if enough like minded people on this issue agree they can actually change it. Thats the whole reason anyone ever complains about anything on the forums. In an effort to have it fixed.
In addition, yes we do need to test it out but considering last map rework we got with that infinite on iron works of mistery its likely this is exactly the same. Its just a god loop with a pre dropped pallet.
Lastly, here is a video on why breakable walls are bad if you don't know why they are so bad. https://youtu.be/JtzQy5UESgc
If you are vaulting through that window and going back around continuously until the window gets blocked for the survivor then that’s your fault. The breakable wall is there for a reason. I think you just like finding things to complain about

The problem is that all three can be easily abused for other uses beyond the intended use.
When Decisive Strike is active, you cannot be picked up. So you can do a gen, a totem, or just if you want to be really safe into a locker, and the killer can't do anything to you.
Head On has a similar problem. Head On's hitbox for the stun just makes no sense, and makes it very hard to grab the survivor hiding in the locker. This means that if you can get a locker before the killer gets to you, you can get a free stun even if the killer knows exactly where you are. This is stupid, as the perk is best used as a way to help your teammates mid-chase, rather than a get out of jail free card.
Dead Hard lets become invincible for a short period of time along with moving you forward. Now, this is all fine and dandy until you realized that it lets you step up trapper's traps, among other things. Because having a single perk completely counter a killer's power is totally a good idea.
These are the perks that I can think off the top of my head have this issue, but I would love to see if we can find more examples, especially some killer ones.
Woahh lmfao this is the typical bs posts on the forum. Dead hard can is able to “step up trappers traps”. ONE trap. Therefore his power is useless?!?! Lol what. It’s one trap, and it’s not like it happens 24/7.
but anyway, for head on, you say “this means if you can get to a locker before a killer gets to you, you can get off a free stun” but if you’ve actually used head on you would realize it’s not that easy. It takes 3 seconds, I believe, for the perk to actually activate. That means you would’ve had to have been about 4 seconds ahead of the killer, if you just stood still and stopped running. And if you’re thattt far ahead of a killer, I’m sure you could’ve found a pallet or a window to loop or lose him at. And even if you do wasted your time going into a locker when you head at least a 4 second lead in a chase, head on isn’t even overpowered. It feels like it barely even stuns the killer. The killer can easily catch up to you right after. There’s a reason why head on isn’t used often.

As the title asks, you have a 4 second stun on a non-lethal power, while you watch survivors run away. On top of that when you slap someone it takes away from your power meter.
To me the 4 second stun is absolutely horrendous to play with on a power that does so little. Plus deep wounds is a joke of a status effect, and their entire power is based around it.
As compared to blight who only suffers a 2.5 second stun on a power that can actually down survivors.
Anyone else feel this way?
You forgot to mention the part where blight has to waste his time and bump into a wall before he can hit somebody where as legion can run at them and hit them. And on top of that he can vault windows and pallets fast, and he is also notified where other survivors are nearby. you’re just playing legion wrong

Or if they will change them to not be able to be bought with iridescent shards?
Ah I think I got my answer. Finally after not being able to find it lol. So the skins go back to being 21k iridescent shards after the event so I’m assuming they stay in the shop also

Yeah, it's the most used exhaustion perk in tournaments because it's not good. Of course.
It’s the most used because it can be used anywhere. And any time you’re injured. Sprint burst is only good at the start of a chase, but even then it’s not that good, unless you 99 it and just keep running around which is 99% of the time useless or not going to work. Balanced landing is very very situational, and especially with the nerf of having the stagger now, the first second of the 3 second speed boost is wasted in the stagger if it’s from a high place. Lithe is really good, and is used almost nearly as much as dead hard. But I don’t use it as much because sometimes I like too loop around a pallet before running off, but if I loop and I vault the pallet, I either have to run away or waste my lithe. If I could choose which vault I can use it on during the vault, it would be soo much better. Dead hard can be used anywhere. That is simply the reason it is the most used. NOT because it’s overpowered or “the best”.
