I play loops for fun the killer doesn't enjoy or respect what I find fun though so I try try again. Bubba never disappoints. Sometimes there's just no fun to be found so I get a final escape and close app.

It's value comes from the fact that the killer knows someone has it. Could be 1 player. Could be 4. If they really are desperate to get 1 player out of the game because they're struggling then they have to risk the stun. Honestly, I think there should be an obssession with no perks in play.
Honestly, I concur. Rush gens or die boring snooze fest lucky if the first survivors don't give up right away making it even more difficult and awkward.

I know what you're talking about. My point is that people know they have crossplay enabled; it's self-evident. Therefore, my conclusion is not that they're uninformed or lazy, but rather that they prefer having it on.
They have the choice however they know that having it disabled will ruin queue time therefore they don't have much of a choice. Sitting there with not much of a choice the op is disgruntled and sees it as no choice at all.
Op, do you think that having the choice to be matched with certain platforms will help matters or just make it all worse?
-
Killers that play to win will expect nothing less than a 4K. All other killers win if they enjoyed playing and the people they played with weren't ruining their experience.
For me as survivors I feel loss when someone gets tunnelled out and if I also die or leave anyone to die afterwards resulting in a 2K then that is an L but other than that 4KS are really the only win in the people that want wins mindset.
-
Because the good players have respect for the roles. Good players know what a killer is capable of and don't bother forcing it with gestures. Bad players want to get under a killers skin and use their ds unbreakable combo and sometimes they get wins that way so they do it more.

Snow Patrol, the used, lifehouse and Taking back sunday

I know some of us hate running it, myself included, but I'm getting tired of games with no obsession and the killers just camp and tunnel like there is no tomorrow and it's getting old. Please just for everyones sake please start running ds more even if you don't like it
LMAO. No. You run it.
-
The audio for slugs is so loud now it really is pointless to crawl unless it is to a pallet or exit. Why even have deerstalker with the slug audio louder than injury audio? My favorite are the ones that neither crawl nor recover. A sack of salt those ones when you just give up trying to work with them bc they are putting zero effort in.
-
Can never play bill without bt I see the loathsome accusing faces of the gamers behind the skins of my fellow teammates when I don't save them from their campy predicament. And I low key hate bt but love bill.
-
If ds was basekit, would basekit make your choice be enough to make up for the imbalance?
Incentive for killer to leave hook, incentive to chase new survivor, a timer for ds counter play.

@Wesker09 said:
Cause whoever gets caught first just gets tunneled to death and nothing can be done about, but remember kids tunneling isn't an issue and DS is totally not needed for whatever reason and should be look at being nerfed
No survivor wants to go down first in a no obsession game so they have to play super safe extend the loops and use everything to not go down.
By the time a m1 killer can get them 3/4/5 gens are done and it's gg for them unless someone brought bt and still it's not done deal extra sweat these no obsession matches good luck if 1 or 2 survivors go down within the first 40 seconds of the match.
Plunderers is the only option to win in more than half of these boring matches. Something's got to give.
-
Bubba if ash had his chainsaw.
-
Op, Rancor is a tracking perk. It shows everyone's location when a gen pops. So there's that..
-
Be a team player if you are selfish survivors will catch on and leave you hanging.
Don't unhook with out caution when the killer has brought a mori. You can tell when the killer has a mori when the last dark offering pre trial does not turn over.
Object of obsession and no mither will typically get everyone killed unless you are a expert looper with cat like reflexes. Killer and survivor will look at you like you're crazy if you are new and using these all Willy nilly.
-
I don't understand there not being an obsession. There are two kinds of killers in no obsession matches. Killers that tunnel immediately and killers that tunnel when 2 or 3 gens pop. Having no obsession in matches just encourages more survivors using ds to avoid this boring no obsession matches.
-
A potato who can never time the flashlights correctly so I'm about a 6.
A softy who refuses to camp and tunnel so I'm a 4.

I do it sometimes, but really just to let em have some extra BPs before they get hooked. Its kinda like survivors who let the killer get some extra hits in before they leave out the exit gate with the only difference being nobody is having to cross the map to end the game.
Letting a survivor work towards objective only with intent to kill them is Dbd bm in the highest form. It is nothing like the hits at the end survivors give to killer. To say they are even remotely the same is cementing this misconception that what you're doing is friendly in any way.
-
I'm not going to run to a gen with my ds up unless the killer brought a mori or pink add on.
As killer, I'm not going to play a 3v1 if it took me all but a minute to get my BBQ stacks.
-
It's sad that the bm can go on for longer than a DC penalty. The only reason I won't DC in a bm situation is the other survivors still have a chance to escape it while I'm being tossed around like overalls in a tumble dryer.
-
Adrenaline killer never chases me they usually try to trap me with the slug to 4K or they give in and chase me when there's one gen left. With adrenaline I either pop up with the hatch closing or I'm off to time the gate opening in a smart chase towards a gate. Great with spine chill my close second because distance is so important in looping and looping is fun for me.
For killer, discordance I love early pressure in my killer matches I don't run gen regression perks I just rely on constant pressure.
-
I came from Friday13thgame with 4 pocket knives permanently lodged in my neck, a game where loops are much bigger and bloodlust doesn't exist but they all phase like spirit.
I 4K in the basement with hag in my first killer match. The only perk I had was tier 1 devour hope and it saw no use. Admittedly, I'm pretty bad at killer unless I go in with a heart of stone and as I play more and more this has become harder to do.
-
Spine chill or die.
-
Visionary is good with aura reading perks because you can see your team method of action and act accordingly. The huge problem is in solo your teams method of action is on par with a rotting potato. Putting visionary and aura perks to use is much like carrying a sack of potatoes for no payout. You are just better off with perks that prolong your survival and being that death comes for us near the hooks survivors should no doubt focus all of their build around surviving at and around them. To refuse to do so just means you submit to losing to killers that will punish you all day and all night without the proper get away tools.
-
If one or two survivors played like bots I will let the poor struggle bugs go. I'm playing killer but the bots carried me and the poor struggle bugs trying to carry them. It's a sad affair, mostly.
-
With the undying meta cleansing all totems, dull or lit, is the way of things in smart matches. If noed lives in your environment, you have two choices cut your losses and leave or be a team hero and run detectives hunch/a map/plunderers. Stop complaining about noed and just watch out for noed more. You'll be surprised at how ineffective the perk becomes when you change your mindset to overcome it.

To help boost the fog whisperers view count. Also exclusivity creates value. People wouldn't care about the charm nearly as much if it was just handed to them.
I left the stream though when I got the code. The code turned out to be a dud so I just played dbd instead of watching the stream of lies.

Last guy should've picked you up
Should he really though? Against a oni? Or (insert any killer with wallhacks) I'm the guy that didn't fall for the bait. If I've seen nurses with distortion or spine chill, big surprise I didn't fall for that bait either.
-
Wglf is the best buff I've seen in quite some time for survivor. I hope it stays and more importantly I hope we get more perks in the future that incentivize teamwork and saving teammates who are fighting for life.
-
I'm not one for being on a side but
for survivor urban users have the slowest pace of play you're never sure if ever they will come near you if it seems hard they opt out of your life pretty early.
for killer stacking ultra rare add ons, ultra rare offerings, with noed and pop and ruin just is so obnoxious. We get it you win already.
-
What devs and streamers don't seem to understand is that there's a way their community plays the game when they are playing and there's a way the community plays the games when they are not looking.
Object abuse, ds abuse, full timer slugging, mori targeting, teaming/farming. This stuff happens and it's very effective.
-
No obsession = 3 gens done while 1 guy sits on hook. Therefore killer does not have a choice. They should just put a obsession in every match because no obsession games 1 person always gets the ax while 3 others live their new lives as slugs.
-
I personally hate the run me to hook and farm without bt survivors so much that I will show mercy on the remaining survivors because I've happily killed the survivors that can't be bothered to do something other then farm with no regard to us all.

This was happening to me quite a lot, too. My ping would be roughly 40, but then as soon as the match starts my PS4 was lagging me everywhere and I was getting disconnect penalties without ever intentionally disconnecting.
Is your PS4 connected via wifi? Last week I picked up an $8 ethernet cable and ran it from my PS4 straight to my router, changed settings to LAN connection, and I haven't had an issue since then. If that's in any way a possibility for you I highly recommend it, because I was getting frustrated to tears previously, but I haven't had to stress on it since I switched over.
That being said, I haven't had a chance to play on today's patch, so there's a possibility my fix was only temporary.
Unfortunately I don't care to run all that Ethernet through my house to fix a issue that started today. Yes I am on Wi-Fi but this seems to be an issue with dc penalties and optimization. Both things out of my hands.
-
3 games into the new update on PS4 and I've already got a DC penalty on a game I did not disconnect from. I touched a regressing generator on new coal tower and I was disconnected. The post game lobby showed the killer had disconnected and the 2 other survivors still in the match. I retained all blood points but had a 4 minute penalty.
I saved the clip but if this continues won't my disconnection penalty grow?
-
Survivors getting farmed off hook is clear advantage to killer and any killer that takes advantage is fueling the ds unbreakable meta.
-
Feels about right >_0
-
There is a counter and that is to fall in line, using ds and unbreakable, sustaining self mockery and ridicule when you aren't using the perks in more then half of your trials.
-
That was clear from the install.
-
Op, I can't tell you how many times I've had to hit phase 2 on first hook and still survived but if you want to lose, who except you, is crying about it?
-
Ruin and pop is fine ruin and pop on Freddy is the sole reason players call for Nerf's on killer powers.
Freddy could literally run any totem protection perk in place of pop but instead blames the game for not covering this as well for him.
-
@Tricks said:
Charge up your shock thing and let loose just before a pallet and you'll get a free hit 9 times out of 10 as the shock stops them from interacting with the pallet XD
This is far worse than what PH or Slinger does with pallets (not to mention it's actually impossible to counter) so I don't know why nobodys spamming the forum with doc nerf requests?
Except ph downs you with his ability while doctor just tickles your loins and you can go towards other places.
-
Playing fair is fun until you're up against players who disagree with that mentality completely. Then you're in their realm and I find maintaining alot of distance is the only way to have fun. Killers do not have this leisure at all. So killers who play to have fun my hat goes off to you. It is not easy at all.
-
I have looked at the Jake who just Kobe in my we'll make it hungry face and have wanted to die more then him I think.

I had a match in Oni map. Able to kill 2 Survivors with 2 Gen left (Feng & David left). It took awhile to see a Gen being working on, while at a corner there is noise at regular time (Diversion). Later I found Feng near the Gen, chase hook her, she suicide on hook. David escape through hatch.
Feng had 14k BP, David with Diversion had 11k BP (whichout hatch escape would be 4k BP).
I wish I didnt hook Feng so I can kill David instead. I wish there is a way to sign a Survivor to point out where there team mate is, in situation like this.
My teammates have been the biggest sacks of potatoes lately and I have realized I'd rather die a million deaths before I gave them up.
-
Shock therapy them before they vault a pallet with plans to meet them on the otherside. They cannot vault back and you won't be caught off by their latency advantage.
Range add-ons, discipline notes, calm notes and iridescent queen are the best so use them wisely.
If you're running tough skill check build, kill the guy tapping the gen.
-
A determined Bubba will always make me smile on the inside lol
-
Doc because he gives me a "this is fine." attitude in a losing situation with his chuckles and abilities. This has done wonders for queuing up for another. No other killers are as inspiring.
Nea is my favorite survivor because she always reminded me of a mouse. Survivors are alot like helpless mice and I am just embracing my inner mouse.

Of cause I'm meanning! I'm angry because I feel like I was being taken for a fool! How they can save three from the basement? What's the use of the basement? Survivor perks are so much OP that they can get two free gens!
Even now I'm still troubled by the three-basement-escape, I always think about, did I play perfect? If I did that, can I end it faster?
If they all brought bt then they all deserve a free hook escape no matter where or when. It's so rare to see all four bring it which you know is true so why would it need a nerf for a rare instance where you still and most others still win?
Ds and bt can be countered but you give up some pressure to do so. So what if you don't have full control over your victims. Seems very egotistical.
-
A real nurses calling - see the aura of injured survivors m1 to heal m2 to delete from match.
-
Op, I agree with your statement if you are facing rank 1 infectious fright oni and nurse.. the probability of facing these makes calm spirit worth it, Imo
