Infinite tier 3 isn’t nearly as disgusting as the tombstone add ons. How are they still a thing?
Because they'd have to rework achievements to change them. Honestly Judith's Tombstone is fine though. It's the Tombstone Piece that's the problem.

What's not to like, they are unfavorable for your average meta mobility or strong chase killers and favor stealth killers insted.
Survivors on the other hand have to deal with more difficult gen spots, deceptive TR and so on.
They have vastly different gameplay compared to 80% of your matches that happen on outdoor maps. I enjoy varitety so playing on outdoor maps just gets more and more boring after 5 years when there's hardly any indoor maps.
I dislike the maze like nature of them.
-
It wasn't that bad honestly. I just ran Plunders. The 12 stuns one sucked with the fps drops.

@Kebek said:
I don't really care I just want more indoor maps. We have like 30+ outdoor maps and now finally a 5th indoor map.
I really hope we'll eventually get an indoor map (or rework existing one) into 5 different variants (like Badham) so that it's more evened out.
Balance is important of course but I hate the fact that outdoor maps are so extremely favored compared to indoor maps. I love the the different kind of feeling indoor maps have and the varitety they bring so even if they're unbalanced mess sometimes, I just love playing on them which overshadows the imbalance for me (at least temporarily).
I think you are the first person I've ever seen that liked the indoor maps.

I got 232,000.

Did you stop to ask yourself why so many killers want to see you and your team suffer? Maybe its something youre doing in game?
Thats a joke btw, 5 times in a row sounds to high to be believable, but if its true that really sucks i hope you reported them
Its weird how i can go weeks without running into a face camper but the people on these forums seem to get them game after game 🤔
I imagine it depends on location alot. Actual face camping is rare for me to see. Heavy proxy camping and tunneling is pretty common though.
-
Disagree completely. They're already incredibly annoying as is. It's hard to see their effect as killer, but they can be a pain from the survivor perspective.
-
As mentioned above, the time saved is the main factor. That said, I think 60 seconds would be fine.

Yeah but it still takes some time.
Unfortunately what i see happen a lot is survivors just stay where they are and think nothing will happen.
And then it turns out he has infinite T3 and then they lose their minds and talk about how stupid that add on is
Not that much really.

How fast is myers at tier 3 again?
The extended lunge is the thing that makes T3 Myers dangerous.

It's kinda bullshit. Something that needs fixed if he ever gets a rework.
He's like Pig. Weak but some incredibly broken add-ons.
What? Tampered timer is the only broken Pig addon. Even then you need Crate of Gears to truly make it broken.
As for Myers, alot of his addons are terrible. His stalking movement speed and the Mirror/glass shard sets are useless. His only truly broken addon is Tombstone Piece.

When given this challenge, what else are killers to do? Survivors, your options are this, or Insidious Bubba.
Uhh what? You can use any killer. You need to hook them in the basement not kill them in it.

Stop feeding him stalk then 😂
To be fair, it's not hard to get there. Especially if you run a J Myers Memorial. Tombstone Piece is bullshit though.
-
Corrupt being basekit wouldn't solve anything. You make it basekit and people will just wait it out.
-
As a Wraith main I'm sadly forced to agree. May Wraith players play in a toxic manner. I disagree with them being the most toxic. Slinger and Spirit take that honor in my opinion.

@Hektic3000 said:
Tunneling is not worse than ever. With the changes in perks and base mechanics its easier to prevent yourself from being focused down now.
BT- it works in every situation so there's no reason not to run it, its a guaranteed safe unhook.
DS- while you cant be immune and do actions in the killers face it gives you the chance to save yourself, stun the killer, and make distance.(they also made obsessions always present so killers have to assume there's at least 1 DS)
We'll make it- 8 sec heals
Resurgence- you're unhooked with 50% heal progress
Lucky break- no blood or scratch marks for 1 min.
There are options for survivors to not be tunneled but most don't put any effort in and expect the killer(who isn't your friend) to take it easy on them for no reason.
Instead of complaining about tunneling try and reflect on what got you into that situation and adjust in the future.
BT and DS don't deter killers anymore. I've taken to running BT every match because it's gotten so bad.

Counterplay is just a thinly veiled way of saying "nerf"
No, nerf means nerf. If having it where there is an even chance to counter her is a nerf then she wasn't balanced properly to begin with.
-
Nobody is asking for a Nurse nerf. She has counter play. Not so much against a God Nurse, but then you simply got out played.
As for Spirit, I'd say most people don't want a nerf. At least not exactly. Rather they want some indication she's phasing so she has meaningful counterplay.

Regardless of how you feel the killer's job is to kill.
It's literally in the name of the role.
And it's the survivors job to survive. That doesn't mean either side has license to be an ass about it.

Who the hell enjoys Hag games?

Good lord that's alot of shards.

Prove Thy Self, Detective's Hunch, BT, and Wglf. Add in a medkit for survival points.

I don't understand it...What is the fun part of the game to people then ? People hated "forever freddy" because they hated holding M1..But they also hate being chased all game ? That's supposed to be the fun part. The interactions
It's almost like people want to be able to do a variety of things in a match.
-
Okay, they're just useless then.
-
Was the key pink? If so they might have been doing the ever so brilliant escape twice with an ultra rare challenge.

Oh God, more Tricksters. Ugh.

In that case, ez crown for all survivors in that match.
My point is it shouldn't be guaranteed just for launching the game on one side and have special requirements on the other. Especially when the justification is preventing games being ruined.
-
@LegionOfDumb said:
Its to prevent survivors from just getting the crowns and then immediately trying to suicide on hook, thereby screwing over everyone else trying to play the game normally.
@Mr_K said:
In past events survivors would stop trying, (kill themselves on 1st hook, etc) after fulfilling their event objective to move onto the next match. This of course negatively impacted other survivors and the killer.
Which was just silly since there's nothing preventing the killer from finding the crown and just not playing after that.

I've said many times before they need to allow us to sell back stuff we don't want for bp.
-
Gens need to reward more bp period. The current amount they reward is pathetic.

By itself, the perk is fine, but coupled with Anniversary Toolbox and BNP, that's just a genrush.
Agreed. I personally almost never bring toolboxes.

@Aven_Fallen said:
If you consider running Vanity Mirror - eh. It is his worst Add On and as said, you are barely faster than Tier 1-Myers. Like, if you compare it to Scratched Mirror:
Vanity Mirror: 108% Movement Speed, Scratched Mirror: 105% Movement Speed (barely noticeable)
Vanity Mirror: 16m Aura Read, Scratched Mirror: 32m Aura Read
Vantiy Mirror: Tier 2, so 16m Terror Radius, Scratched Mirror: Tier 1, Undetectable
Questionable if the 3% extra Movement Speed and the longer Lunge (which is also only a little bit, if you use Boyfriends Memo together with Scratched Mirror) make Vanity Mirror worth it.
I used it one time and this was the worst game I have ever played.
Mostly I was curious what they meant by slightly. Like had he gone to 110 it might have been an okay addon. I've honestly never gotten around to even Scratched Mirror Myers. I mostly just run Hair Bow and J. Myers Memorial.

5.0.1 killed my enthusiasm for this game since I lost my headless Susie and Demon's End Minotaur Oni, but at least I was having fun with Nemesis because he got....slightly more stable. Not really, but enough to instantly go from hard-stuck rank 4-6 to rank 1. It's really freaking sad just how much pressure you lose by missing ONE whip or basic attack due to lag. A possible 3k can become a 0k because of it.
Well, 5.0.2 made EVERYTHING worse again. BHVR released a 12gb update to make killer even more miserable than it already is. The stutters are so bad I'm losing chase while running in a straight line because someone across the map either Dead Harded or unhooked somebody. It's not unique to Nemmy. Any killer that has Killer Instinct suffers terribly, and Demo's pulses from his Meat Flower freezes you too so no Shreds unless the survivor is running in a straight line. Legion is borderline unplayable.
Now this leads me to my point. After dealing with all this crap, this anniversary event is bringing out some really toxic people with inflated egos. Balanced Landing gamers going to Haddonfield and being incredibly disrespectful. Whatever. But what really annoys me is people getting cocky and thinking "ez baby trash killer lmfao" because Chase was extended +30 seconds because my console locks up going for a hit, and having to recover from that 3x in a match.
I don't know why I'm suffering so much trying to play fun chase killers and 8 hook everybody when the opposite side has no intention on showing me the same respect.
I literally cannot use killer powers to express my skill, so I'll use a killer that can just not use their power and get kills because of it. And what do you know, Spirit's easy AF to win with and makes people DC on sight. Feels awful to go against, almost like being sent to Haddonfield with Balanced Landing squads :)
I actually really don't want to play Spirit, my hipster personality demands that I play garbage killers but here I am. Is this the inevitable end result of a killer player?
Lost cosmetics how? As in they're missing from your inventory? If so try clicking the sort by rarity button in your customization menu. It worked for me anyway.

Okay gen rushing isn’t a thing lol. Survivors have one objective so what would you suggest they do? Wait in a corner until the killer says “go”? Do you see how absurd that sounds? “Hey everyone, let’s take a few minutes and wait until the killer is ready to begin playing”. Lmao
Yes gen rushing is a thing. The term is overused, and is usually applied to people just doing gens normally. It is still very much a thing though.
@topic do you mean old, as in 5% regression on a good skill check Ruin? If so I have to disagree. Once survivors got decent it didn't really effect them. All old Ruin did was train me to hit greats. Even now I still hit them more than half the time without thinking about it.

People used to like wraith a lot more when he was weak and slow. One would think that more mobility would get survivors into more chases = more fun but it seems not. Weird how you like slow stealth killers but not the fast one (and then there's pig who needs to get nerfed more).
A pity how fast can opinion on "fun" killers change. Cool list nevertheless.
It's probably because so many Wraiths are hard tunnelers. Now he's a stronger tunneler. I say this as a Wraith main sad that such a fun killer gets played in such a boring way.

If you have constantly bad teammates that throw you under the bus.
Than that's a different problem and has nothing to do with the actual game.
I never said it did. All I said was your assertion that you can rely on solo teammates was incorrect.

Then thats a problem with the survivors. Not the killer. Not the devs. Not the game. Get mad at them.
Who said I was mad at anyone? All I said was they are wrong about being able to rely on solo teammates.

I spent most my day playing killer. I'm rank 11. Survivors made no attempt to farm, and every game has been genrush city. 2 Anniversary toolboxes + BNP and Prove Thyself, and 2 Anniversary Flashlights.
I run Prove Thy Self, but I do it for the points since completing a gen gives you ######### for points.

A survivor group that is worth their salt, can and will manage to turn around a 3v1. Doesn´t even need to be a SWF group.
Killers don´t need to play poorly to only get 3 or 4 hooks. Happens even to the best streamers.
WGLF is on my basekit. I always use it, when i have it.
Survivors can also rely on their teammates when playing solo. Sure, some teammates are terrible. But once you get used to not taking things personally, its great.
What universe are you living in? You can never rely on your teammates in solo que. You might get lucky and get good teammates. More often than not though they will throw the game with how bad they are.
