New double window infinite on dead dawg saloon BTW 😍☝️
It's literally an infinite, at least with MFT and Resilience; Im not sure otherwise.
I ran a killer for three gens earlier not even meaning to and he just started shaking his head and left me alone lol

well, after seeing that velociraptor scene, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IEGQfrpnjWk&t=36s the velociraptor feels, IMO, right at home in DBD. Besides, the velociraptors has over 20 human kills in all the Jurassic Park/World series combined! The velociraptor is an honest-to-god KILLER! And IMO deserves a spot in the Dead by Daylight!
And, by the way, during the movies, many (not all) of the kills happen at night or during dark conditions!
Hey, I'd still give it a shot if it ever happened. If anybody can do it well, it's BHVR. The issue is, if anybody can do it terribly wrong, it's also BHVR.

Honestly love all these, I think Honing stone basekit would be a little much but getting them into deep wound would be incredible, however the two big changes for me would be Trapper sack basekit and better maps, no killer should be map dependent and it’s a similar thing to dredge except he has a much stronger kit then trapper when the map is in his favor. I think trapper sack should be completely basekit both the upsides and downsides, it gives you a fairly strong power and the ability to use it any time, however unlike hag you have to think a little more on where you place them, changing up his play style and giving him more to separate him from hag, other then that Trapper gloves would be great to make his limited number of traps a real threat allowing him to quickly reset them mid chase or have quicker set up, however I am very split on the bloody coils, I would love to see these other changes first and see what spot he is in after that instead.
The only reason I'm hesitant to say the purple bag should be base kit is because the higher you climb the MMR ladder, the less repeat traps will work. Sure, you can reset them and simply cut loops in half while chasing, but personally I always loved the unpredictability of Trapper back when thick grass was common. I'd see survivors cut tiles wide thinking my trap was in the same spot that it caught somebody else, only to step in it on the opposite side of the tile or on the other side of a window, etc.

So, it's a different account in game? Am I understanding right? I'm unsure because you said "yes" but then said "same steam account" so I'm a bit confused.
If it's a new account in game, I'm pretty sure owned DLCs don't transfer.

Look, All the people *running and screaming* when they come face to face with velociraptors don't do it because theese prehistoric beast are 'goofy"! I bet you wouldn't think they're "goofy" if by chance (and science allowed it!) you face one yourself! :P
You're right. I wouldn't. I'd be poo-ing myself. Still, it would feel out of place in a game like DBD.

For the million time, the "new" fast vaults were bugged to the point of softlocking the tutorial and making survivors invincible while vaulting.
And in my personal opinion, I don't care if they made the vaults give you more distance as long as I can still hit you if you are in attack range, even if you are at the other side. I don't know why is so strange to you all that the killer is able to hit you through an open window to the point of wanting an invisible field on it.

obviously that would make the perk useless. with my nerfed version the perk would be pretty balanced. the only killer that would be still badly affected by a +2% bonus would be doctor, because he slows himself down too much. so they would need to increase his movement speed while shocking
...so then everybody not using MFT would get screwed over? No thanks.
-
I wouldn't be able to take a dinosaur seriously. Maybe I'm alone there, but it would just be goofy to me.

Sorry but intentionally targeting and ruining a persons playing experience Is toxic and it being efficient doesn’t change the fact it’s annoying, unfun, and toxic lol. Other games strive away from unfun and annoying experiences and make playing in a toxic way typically a disadvantage meanwhile dbd strongly encourages being as toxic on both sides as you can be lol. Literally neither side is fun at all because this playerbase is one of the worst I’ve been in and I played overwatch in 2016-2021 💀
Solution: learn how to loop better.
-
I don't understand why people are complaining about perks anymore. It's pretty obvious that they're scraping the barrel for ideas at this point; they're adding perks out of necessity/habit, not because they're actually worth running.

So this build is very interesting killer build specially on trapper with his slow disarm add-ons.
The build
Hex: Devourer, hex: thrill of the hunt, ultimate weapon, and distressing or optional hex undying.
It's an interesting build and I tried on the xenomorph. If you use my build please give me some feedback
I'll do you one better.
Send yourself to The Game for this. The killer choice shouldn't matter much since most of them have a large enough terror radius to cover almost the entire map.
Devour, Haunted Grounds, Pentimento, and Ultimate Weapon. I did this as Clown on Lery's yesterday and it was nasty.
I'm also a fan of using Ultimate Weapon with Agitation and Starstruck. This combo with double Calm add-ons on Doctor seems very strong.

Trapper needs a lot of love right now. There is a laundry list of things I would do.
1.) Centralize trap spawns. Especially on maps like Borgo, you will lose 3 gens in the time it takes you to walk the 15 miles to the other side of the map to pick up your power from the ground.
2.) Trapper gloves should be base kit, and the speed should also affect how quickly you can pick up a bear trap from the ground.
3.) Bloody coil should be base kit. Traps are not very dangerous right now, especially since the grass changes have made it so almost every trap is visible.
4.) Honing stone should be base kit IF an injured survivor steps on a trap. Hell, even if this seems too strong, at least give them deep wound. If you're injured and step on a trap while the Trapper is on the other side of the map, what penalty is there other than losing five seconds to free yourself?
5.) Make good maps again. Trapper suffers from how open, grassless, and gigantic certain maps are. Once again using Borgo as an example, it's not feasible to check the gens on an entire half of the map unless you want to risk leaving your traps and, let's be honest, losing the gens you want to protect in the time it takes you to walk to the other side of the map.
In exchange for these changes, add a radius around hooks and around other bear traps where you cannot place a trap. This would let Trapper be more than a killer who proxi-camps or just sets up 5 traps around the basement.

It feels especially bad that they dont even seem to know whats wrong with him. On erie they added little stuff here and there for him. However, this stuff (super small bushes) are not near looks or so out of place that no survivor would ever go through it. Erie remains unplayable as Trapper...
Yes, Eyrie is miserable for Trapper. I haven't found more than maybe 3 spots where traps are even close to viable. The only ones I've had decent success with are just inside the doorways of main or right around the turn of the stairs there. Otherwise, you just have to trap pallets and pray that your survivors are blind.

Why are we running agitation or iron grasp?
You know people WILL die on hook right? Even to just deny you the achievement.
And the lockers are always an issue. Cause you cannot kill them when they are down
I think the idea is to drag the locker-hoppers to a corner of the map and drop them. Seems like a waste to me, but hey.
-
Great Nurse and Blight buff idea! I cannot see any way this would disproportionately affect them and not do anything for the weaker and slower killers who actually need the help.
-
Because this community is full of weak people who DC for any reason.
I've had people DC against me while I'm playing Trapper, of all killers. They get stuck in a trap, not even near basement, and rage quit when I down them because of it.
-
Truthfully, I think the only change that combo needs is a buffer between endurance. Right now there's literally no risk to using it. What should happen (imo, of course) is the first ten seconds should grant endurance to the person being healed, and once their ten seconds have passed then the endurance will go to the person who used FtP. This way it's not a situation where you literally can't do anything for ten seconds.

Play with your food, Corrupt Intervention, iron grasp or Agitation, 4 is your call [recommend some form of slowdown/Aura reading or something to shore any personal weaknesses].
Like everyone said, your gona need to do it the hard way though with either agi or corrupt, the lockers shouldn't be a problem for the last survivor long as you don't accidently carry them to hatch or something. We advocate bringing a map offering as that helped alot for us.
On a side note, we're not 100% sure if bots count towards the achievement so if they do DC give it a go anyway and try saving the bot for last.
Any particular map you'd recommend? I'm honestly thinking McMillian might be decent for it — lockers spawn mostly on either side rather than in the middle, it seems. I'm at my wits end trying it without an offering, at this point.

Its because he gets hidden nerf with maps update, not because he doesnt have enough buff in his basekit.
- Less or no grass, since Midmich, Racoon, Eyrie, Garden of joy, Borgo, and the incoming map all dont have enough grass.
- Hux map is a weird part, a plant map but also dont have enough grass.
- Maps keep get brighter, New Lery used to be dark, The Game basement used to be dark, Garden of joy building used to be dark, Racoon used to be dark...
The only buff left he needs is traps not spawn at corners.
Centralized trap spawns would be great. It would be nice to not feel the need to run the purple bag every game. I think a slight increase to picking up and setting traps would help a lot too — nothing major, but the brown gloves being base kit, for example, would be great.

It's such a sad state to be honest.
I used to really enjoy Trapper. Basement camping is super boring.
I'd wish they would revisit their old maps and see why they where good for Trapper and how the textures should he for a real buff to happen.
Dude, tell me about it. I started playing him after I found Otzdarva on YouTube a few years back and literally like a month after I felt that I really got good as him, they were like, "hey, you know all that great grass on Autohaven and McMillian? Say goodbye!"
Feels bad :/
-
Trapper has received so many buffs over the last year or so, and yet he still sucks LOL
But hey, they're "fine with how he's performing" so I guess they don't care about people mindlessly camping/setting up 14 traps around the basement.

As a Clown main, I'm really interested in what sort of answers will I see here.
The actual hints I can think of make me look like a snarky basterd: Do gens, pre-drop immediately, do gens, hold 'w' when he's reloading, do gens, don't think shack is safe, do gens, run OTR, don't be the first one he spots, and do gens. If someone is on a corner-hook, consider him facecamped, no matter how far the Clown is. Unhook in pairs. When unhooked, break line of sight and get as much distance as humanly possible. Also hope your teammates are all doing gens.
Hmm, I see a recurring theme here. So, you're telling me I should be running around opening all the chests?

I was worried this was the answer.
Myers is suffering right now overall. Scratched mirror is basically impossible anymore too with MFT/Resilience being so present lately. I've had games where I couldn't find the obsession for PWYF and I legit could not catch up to injured survivors LOL

With the current gen speeds and the rate Myers get stalk, i think it will be very hard to get now. Myers need an update (a lof of killers really do)
I won't argue with you there. As much as I want Trapper to be buffed, I think Myers should be next on the list — poor guy hasn't been touched in what, 5 years?
-
The only way Pig could be buffed to have stronger chase potential is if they left the RBTs as they are and nerfed some of the RNG-based add-ons (Crate of Gears + Tampered Timer, in particular,) which would be a welcome change and imo all she needs. She doesn't need to excel at slowdown if she has a well-rounded kit that's simply decent all around.

I mean...yeah. I remember being a newer killer and it was just constant frustration game after game not understanding how to outplay a lot of common survivor perks and items. I've uninstalled DBD like 3 times due to it but the last time was over a year ago. It does actually get better, like yes even the top tier killers get frustrating games form time to time but it happens far less often and the game will actually make sense eventually.
It is true there's not really anything in game that explains killer to you, the tutorial is just awful. But there's lots of resources online to tap into and knowledge can go a long way towards understanding how to win, the rest is just practice which will be painful at times there's not way around it but you can get there if you put the time in.
kind of sounds like a broken record at this point, but I highly recommend Otzdarva's YouTube channel if you want killer tips. Learning from him got me to iri 1 (back when that mattered a little bit more than it does now) and I can actually see the improvement between a game recorded last year, say, and a game recorded yesterday. He's great!

I don’t know how licensing and stuff works I just know she’s one of the most wanted characters in dbd. I really hope it’s her.
It would definitely be cool. I'm curious how they would work her in too, seeing as DBD's Ghostface isn't tied to any of the movies.

With the next two chapters being paragraphs I’d go with it being Predator in November and then Naru from the Prey movie In January. It could also be two standalone characters so something like Candyman In November, and then Sidney Prescott In January. I’m hoping it’s gonna be two of these four characters.

I'd like to see Sydney added, but I'm not sure how that would work considering Neve Campbell is apparently done with the Scream movies. I'm not sure she has any "right" to decline the character being involved, but it would feel scummy seeing as they screwed her over in S6.

I think Otz proposed change is the best solution for camping. If a killer is within 24 meters of a hooked survivor his power is disabled over 10 seconds and replenishes over 10 seconds of being outside the 24 meters.
This wouldn't stop exchanges unless the whole team is there to block, which is worse because that's no gen progress anywhere.
