@VoodooTheKiller I'm rank 2 as killer. I've been playing at rank 1 killer for over a year now, with multiple killers (Freddy included).
I'm not saying it's difficult to pip as killer. I'm saying that you can easily get ROBBED of a pip for things beyond your control. Namely DC/suicides and gen rushing. If you get a group of competent survivors and they do gens at a rate that is normal for them, you will be lucky to get silver Gatekeeper. At this point, if any of them DC/suicide or take hatch, you lost your pip. I'm not complaining because I'm depipping as killer. No I'm complaining because I'm not pipping in games where I definitely should, all because the pip requirements are so high I need to be lucky to some degree that survivors don't screw me over.
Love it though how you assume things about me. Clearly shows how biased you are. The system IS broken because it's based entirely on luck and opportunity and not on skill. This is true for both sides, but ESPECIALLY survivor. If no one gets hooked, it's not impossible to pip because you can't get Benevolence, and you won't get enough Lightbringer because there are 3 other survivors doing gens also.

1 dc at the end of the trial, 1 went to second stage on first hook, and 1 gave up on first hook....i still pipped. You are wrong about what you think it takes to pip and not pip.
1) Legion is a Malicious/Chaser farming machine. Try that with another killer and have the same things happen, see where it goes.
2) Just the fact that 1 guy DC'd and you lost iri Devout, then you only have 1 point over the pip requirements with 3 iri emblems is obscene. If they did gens like actual good survivors (2 green and 2 purple? yea they probably barely did gens) then you'd be lucky to get silver Gatekeeper. Between that and the DC there goes your pip.
Have a game against GOOD survivors that do 2-3 gens during your first chase, then have one of them DC like that. You will come crawling back here I promise.

I think they can tweak the points on your emblems I can see where it’s pretty harsh in the high ranks, but I don’t think the point scoring needs a change. People have been asking for a change and when they finally get it they’re moaning over it. I’m still at rank 3 survivor and still getting rank 2-4 killers.
No the pip conditions ARE the problems, not the emblems. There isn't enough opportunities to earn high enough emblems in EVERYTHING that you can pip. Doesn't really matter how they change emblems, if you are competing with 3 other players (as survivor) you won't be able to get enough points; if you get players that DC/suicide or gen rushers you won't pip as killer.
I could say the same thing about people that moaned about the previous system. I personally NEVER had a problem with it, though I wouldn't mind if it was more difficult to a reasonable degree. By that I mean something like... 2 pip at purple/red rank requires 16 points (ie. 4 iri's or a perfect game) and the safety pip is removed so that you either depip or pip, with no in between. That's reasonable and makes higher ranks harder without requiring you to just get lucky with the opportunities.

If there were no ranks none of it would be a problem
Yes there would be. There is a reason they reverted the matchmaking changes. Putting a rank 1 killer against rank 15 survivors is not fair or fun for either side.

Or they could just do away with ranks and pipping wouldn’t be an issue.
I guess you missed the part where I said the game's not rewarding for some people if all you have to play for are kills/escapes and BP.

Killers have a somewhat easier time right now because their emblems work together. Killers in pursuing one emblem often leads to attaining the others. Survivor emblems are working against each other and in competition with other survivors. If a survivor pursues one emblem, they are neglecting the others and doing anything risky (pretty much everything) puts their unbroken in jeopardy and often results in them not being able to do anything for periods of time except wait on a hook.
The main problem I have with killer is that I'm forced to play super scummy. I have to slug for the 4k, I don't even have the option to let the guy hatch. I have to tunnel people if gens are done too quickly because I have to get enough hooks/hits for Devout/Chaser/Malicious. I have to use Ruin and other game slowing perks in combination for any hope of getting more than bronze Gatekeeper. If survivors DC/suicide, it screws me out of a pip completely, and this happens more often than not. Hell I can 4k and still not pip because of how many points I need to get there. It's really stupid. Not nearly as stupid as pipping for survivor, but it's indeed frustrating. I even got a 3k one game and depipped! Like how is that not even a safety pip? On the old system it would have been.
-
I won. They were purple/green ranks. I'm in my third game now, seems MM isn't all that bad currently. But it is peak times I think so we will see how it works out later.
-
I just started a lobby and got 4 survivors within a few minutes. Dunno what their ranks are yet, but at least I can get games. Probably gonna get crushed though... I'm Plague with meh perks because I'm prestiging her. Wish me luck.
EDIT: I won they were purple/green ranks.
-
FWIW the game should not be matching red ranks to brown ranks. However, due to the more difficult ranking system red ranks is now a ghost town. I wanted them to fix the system they had not revert back to what it was. I don't get why people got all bugged out about "wait times" and all that. For the most part the system was better than before, they just need to put some sort of limiter so that the top players don't get matched with bottom players.
-
Yea reverting the change at this point was not a very good move. I'm rank 2 killer and I feel like now I won't be able to find games because there are barely any red rank survivors on Xbox right now. They should have at least waited until rank reset.
Like it was dumb to get matched against rank 15's as a red rank killer but at least I could find games. Now I'm effectively screwed out of being able to get a game.

Why not? They could somehow calculate how far the killer is from said hooked person and the distance will show approximately with the intensity of the aura.
What if I'm Huntress? Or Nurse? Or Hag? How far the killer is from the hook is irrelevant to how safe it is to unhook. Dude could get saved and run straight to the killer for all you know.

You will be know, when is the best moment to rescue someone by looking on their aura though.
But HOW is what I'm saying. The game has no way to determine how safe it is to unhook, as there are way too many variables to make that call. Variables that are not all tangible to the game. By that I mean... a video game is a computer program. Computer programs work on calculations. If you can't quantify a variable it can't be computed. It's part of the reason certain things work they way they do because that's the only way to quantify something in terms a computer can understand. A human can understand when it is safe to unhook because we can take those intangible variables and make sense of them. A computer can't do that. Even the smartest AI can't yet do this. You're basically proposing the game figure out something that is impossible for it to figure out.
Like I'm not tryna ######### on your parade, just being practical here.

For those saying Legion, I understand you logic, but I disagree with you. Legion can hit you tons, but lacks killing potential on power based hits alone. You have to learn to either moonwalk the blood or how to to chase with power turn it off and keep up with their movements and then go for the basic lunge to down them. The only way to get the most out of Legion is Frank's Mixtape and Stab Wound Study combo as his iridescent addons are gimmicks. Button is bugged and doesn't always snap vaulted pallets. Fuming Mixtape is just surveillance perk while frenzied.
Legion is a lot of gimmicks, but not a lot of actual power.
Being weak doesn't automatically make him harder to use. The fact that you just cannot miss an attack in Frenzy is what makes him easy. Doesn't matter if you catch the guy or not, you get that first hit for FREE, unless you are incredibly bad as killer. Anyone that is half decent will never miss a hit. Combine that with his ability to farm Malicious and Chaser emblems with ease, boosting most Legion players to ranks they clearly don't belong, makes him the easiest killer. Moonwalking isn't at all difficult either, if you use Sloppy and/or Bloodhound then anyone can do it. And since he just YEETs over pallets/windows you don't need to learn how to mindgame or play around loops. You just power through them like they don't exist.

BBQ,MYC, Stridor, Ruin
BBQ/MYC combo is godlike her and a requirement imo. The other 2 are flex.
I agree it is a strong combo for Spirit, but when you get survivors that are good at hiding MYC becomes worthless. You just end up tunneling someone off the hook because you can never find the MYC guy. Also they will start to rush saves while you are near or if you try to phase walk away to avoid it. I found it useful for a time but then I got smart survivors and it just never seemed to help.
My favorite build is BBQ, Sloppy, Thana, Stridor. Sloppy + Thana slows down the game IMMENSELY, with the catch being you have to land hits quickly. Sloppy punishes them for healing, and Thana punishes them for not healing (increases gen time) so they are in a catch 22. It's actually very reliable way to slow the game, and once all 4 are injured gens just stop getting done. BBQ just because it's good for Spirit since she is fast. Stridor so they can't juke you during phase walk with Iron Will, and can't hide from you when injured, which due to the combo will be very likely mid to late game. However, this build requires a good amount of skill on your part as killer. You need to land hits, and you sometimes need to give up chases for those hits. Not a lot of killer players are good enough to do that.
Ruin I hate using on killers nowadays because it's soooo hit or miss. Against normal survivors it's God-like and can almost win you the game on its own. Against good survivors, they just do gens anyway or find the totem no matter how well it's hidden. Had a game as Pig last week where I spawned next to my totem and thought it was safe, took a chase within 15 seconds of the game starting and my totem popped 10 seconds into that chase. And I had Whispers too, no one spawned near me. Someone just ran around and found it that fast with me that close, I honestly did not expect that. Needless to say it turned out to be a very difficult game.
-
Legion. Free hits. No cooldown on missed swings allows spam at no cost. Bypasses survivor's only tools for avoiding a hit (pallet/windows). Farm emblems/BP like crazy. Free anti-stealth. Easy to cheese a chase by moonwalking/following blood.
-
Sorry but how do you measure "chance of safely rescuing" someone? There is no way you could accurately do that.
I agree it needs some buffs though. Not sure what.
-
I p3'd my Spirit because I think she looks cool covered in blood.
Same reason I'm doing it for Plague right now.
However IMO most killers don't look that cool at p3. Plus the fact that I like the cosmetics better on most of them. I especially hate the prestiged weapons. That big ugly vein on the weapons just looks dumb.
-
I do think it's time we retired the perk tiers somewhat. The way it should work is that if you unlock tier 3 in a character's Blood Web, if you prestige the next time you see that perk it will already be tier 3. No need to get tier 1 or 2 again. This way when you prestige a character you're not grinding as much for every perk. By the time you hit p3 you should have most of the perks at tier 3, meaning you only need to go to level like 60 or something to get everything instead of like 150 as it is now.
-
@Maelstrom10 No even better... he makes a silly joke THEN does the Goofy laugh. Followed by a honking horn noise.

-
The problem is you have no way to get the points back if you lost them. If you lose 2 chases but win the next 18 (exaggerated I know but making a point) you get silver. All because you lost 10% of the chases you were in.
A more reasonable option would be to just increase the point earnings for being close to the killer and not in a chase. Double them up to 32m (where most killers TR terminates) and that would make stealth at least somewhat viable. But you shouldn't be getting more than like silver unless you are literally following the killer around all game and hiding near them. As you point out stealth is as easy as swapping lockers all game, that shouldn't be rewarded too heavily.
-
1) If everyone uses it, and it's intended for training or new players, then its abuse. If you are good with Huntress you shouldn't need a crosshair. Case and point, Sawed Off Shotgun in Gears of War 3 was meant to be a newbie training weapon to help them learn the game and give them a chance against veterans that know how to use the Gnasher. It ended up being completely abused by veterans because it required no skill and was an easy instant kill. Only another veteran could outplay a person using the weapon, and only by playing extremely lame (eg. keeping distance and using rifles). What you think will help people will in turn only be abused by those that already know how to play.
2) If the crosshair isn't showing you the projectiles path, what good is it? It's like demanding killers be given a totem counter even when they don't have a totem perk.
3) It helps enough that you will make less mistakes especially if you know how to play Nurse. Those instances where you might blink too short or too far wouldn't exist.
4) If it's not hard then you don't need a crosshair.
5) I'm not saying anything about rank 20's, I'm talking about rank 1's. Hence why I agree with you that Huntress should have a purple add-on that gives a crosshair, so that newer players have a way to learn the nuances of throwing a hatchet, but then it becomes too costly for veterans to waste the BP when they don't need it, discouraging them from abusing it. If they want to blow the BP on it, then that's a cost-benefit analysis they have to do. If it was a white add-on, there is no cost-benefit analysis because there's no cost only benefit.
-
If you are just going for teachables by always going for the perk first (making the Entity appear earlier in the Blood Web) and only taking the cheapest items you can get to level 40 with about a million BP, which is the cap. If you plan to actually play the character and take good items and stuff you will need about 1.3 million BP.

If its not necessary, to which i agree, then how would you suddenly "abuse" it?
Having a mere crosshair does not make you good at playing Huntress, her skill is a lot more about getting survivors into LOS and predicting their moves more than anything, that just comes with experience a crosshair can't give you. Aiming them is not even hard to begin with. The hatchets require a FRACTION of the skill required to use a projectile in games like TF2 and that game has a crosshair believe it or not.
Its for those who are simply unexperienced with FPS and a lack of crosshairs, i have countless hours in KF and Insurgency so its not a deal for me, someone else might have some trouble and its ok.
I could throw the question back to you, if it doesn't matter why do you need it? Since we are in a stalemate with that you have to look at other factors.
Any game where players are given a choice like this, the ones that take it will ALWAYS have an advantage even if the it's less of a factor at higher skill levels. The reason people would abuse it would be because they would just always use it and thus always have that advantage. A crosshair should be there to help you learn how to throw hatchets, not as a replacement for practice needed to do it on your own.
The reason Plaid Flannel is a purple add-on is to avoid this issue and make it a learning tool and nothing else. Otherwise every Nurse that would normally play without add-ons would use it, just because it reduces the chance they make a mistake. Even if they are good and they make a mistake 1 in 50 blinks, now it's 0 in 50 because the add-on removes the possibility they would mess up. At high levels that can actually make a difference, because every mistake counts. A crosshair for Huntress is in the same place. It should be purple rarity so that you start by playing without it, then you level up and get a few so you put them on to practice, then you stop dumping the BP into them once you learn it because it's a waste. But cut the BP cost in half and now it's just a no-brainer to always take them and use them. It's just not necessary.

IIRC Last Standing was the original name for Left Behind. Considering that Unbreakable perk card is bugged it could be something with all his perks being bugged like this.

i respect you but "I pip almost every single game" ( with the new emblemchanges ?) i don´t believe that. I have tested alooooot of stuff and i have 4k hours dbd exp too. I know what im doing and im not stupid to tunnel or to camp. Im doing alot of stuff, believe me you need some luck to get a pip. You can´t hold every game over 9 minutes and killing all 4 survivors with 12x hookz to get a 4k on a normal way ...no chance
I'm currently sitting at 1 pip short of rank 2. I find it generally pretty easy to rank up. Only reason I'm not rank 1 yet is because I've been playing Plague almost exclusively and since I'm prestiging I don't have a consistently good build to work with, so I've had a few games where I depipped because I'm still learning her. But when I played Pig or Freddy, killers I have a lot of experience and good builds, I double pip almost effortlessly.
Some things about killer emblems need to be fixed. I feel like Devout should reward gold if you kill 3 AND get the minimum hook requirement, but if its a 3k without minimum hooks it should be silver. Malicious and Chaser need a fix for Trapper specifically, since it seems like you get nothing for these emblems if you catch people in traps. And Gatekeeper should be based on just the raw time of the game with number of survivors remaining playing a factor, not on how many gens are/are not done. But overall, killer side is just fine. If you are depipping a lot you are either camping, tunneling, or using mori's too much.

The idea behind that perk was mostly taken from Padded Jaws and Speed Limiter. I don't see why it should not be a thing as its optional, like a challenge addon that rewards some potential extra BP.
And for the crosshair i don't see the point of making it green or above, even yellow is questionable. Because by the time they got a stack they already got used to the basics and that would make them completely pointless. If it even should be an addon at all it should be easily accessible.
No because then people would just abuse it. Huntress is about skill with hatchets and NOT needing the crosshair. It should be purple so that you can't just use the add-on every single game unless you want to spend the BP. It's there as a learning tool not as a permanent addition.
If you have trouble aiming with Huntress then you need to practice. You shouldn't just be given a crosshair, that nullifies the skill needed to use her.
-
Regarding the crosshair, the Glowing Concoction add-on should be removed and replaced with something that gives you a crosshair, like Plaid Flannel for Nurse.
I can agree with most other stuff. I don't think her lullaby/TR should be THAT low, but it should be lower than what it is currently. Also IDK about the brown add-on that REMOVES hatchets, I would rather they have a brown add-on that gives an extra hatchet, yellow one adds 2, and the purple one adds 2 and increases her reload speed.
The exhaustion add-ons and Begrimed Head are fine as they are, but the other effect types need to be changed. Rusty Head is almost pointless if you run Sloppy since hatchets will proc Sloppy anyway.
-
Rank 1 killer here, currently 1 pip away from rank 2 on the new system. I play Hag and Plague plus like 8 other killers.
It seems to me like you rely too heavily on mori's and killers best add-ons. You need to practice with yellow add-ons at best.
For Hag you want bug parts and eggs (teleport distance and phantasm duration respectively). Those are her best "basic" add-ons. While I think Surveillance is a solid perk now, on Hag I don't think it would be that effective mainly because you are too slow to really take advantage of it. If you were like Nurse, Billy, or Spirit it's amazing, but for Hag not so much. Unless you put a trap at the gen AND they trigger it the perk won't be doing much for you. BBQ is the same way, you are too slow for it to make any sort of difference. You can see where survivors are but if it's clear across the map you won't get to them fast enough and they can dodge you very easily. Nurse's Calling would be better because 1) the range is beyond her TR (especially since you have M&A), and 2) it means they are close enough you can get to them. You don't want to chase as Hag, you want to set up a zone of traps and let survivors come to you. If they leave that area just let them go because otherwise you waste too much time chasing. The other perk I would say Ruin, Corrupt Intervention, or maybe even Sloppy to slow the game down.
You second build with Hag looks just awful. Again she's not a chase killer, Bambo and BS will do nothing for you here. This is besides the fact her power can already break loops if you put the trap in the right spot. You almost want them to vault stuff so they trigger a trap and you hit them.
For Plague your second build is stronger sans the mori (which is probably why you are getting those 4ks). You don't need Surv as she sort of has a built in to her power. Kick the gen then puke on it, if someone touches it they get sick and you can see that now you know someone is on that gen. I would try something else there, what I couldn't tell you really because she's so new I'm still testing out stuff for her. Infectious Fright is actually a very good perk, helps with tracking and can give you chances to apply a lot of pressure through slugging.
After that, the only other piece of advice I can give is to know when to give up a chase. This is almost always the thing I see killers lose a game for, and something I myself sometimes do which can cost me the game also. If a chase is going for a long time you should just let them go and look for another survivor. Best times to do this are if you see them use an exhaustion perk like BL, Lithe, or Sprint Burst. Or if they run to a very strong loop or a dead zone (area with no gens for you to protect). I know it's hard to do and you feel like it's a bad move, but trust me it's sometimes a good move. Better to go protect gens and find someone you can catch in a bad spot much quicker.
EDIT: Just read more of the post, if you have trouble with tracking use Bloodhound or Stridor. They can help you stay on an injured survivor during a chase. You also have to be willing to return to hooks to apply pressure. Whether you decide to tunnel or not is up to you, but if you're not chasing someone go back to the hook and go after one of them. As Hag you have MYC which lets you pressure rescues really hard. Just start going back to the hook if they trigger a trap teleport, if not it means they are crouching around and you can usually still catch them.
-
I was using Sloppy/Thana combo on Spirit before the nerf to Thana. It was really strong then and no one believed me.
-
I'm fairly positive I have hit people while they are healing. Maybe you missed?
-
Yea it's really stupid for survivors. There aren't enough points to go around and you are competing with 3 other players for Lightbringer and Benevolence. And you can't get enough LB and Evader in the same game to pip at red ranks. You can generally only get one or the other, and it's beyond your control what the killer decides to do.
For killer I'm finding the system to mostly work. I'm 1 pip away from rank 2, and I pip most games. Some games I double pip. Mainly because I don't camp or tunnel. However, some games I get a safety pip even though I bodied survivors, and it usually comes down to DC's, suicides on hooks, or just survivors doing dumb things that I capitalize on. Had a game where I was on track to lose, but then survivors made a few critical mistakes in a row and I got 3 slugs at once with the 4th guy already on a hook. It was game over at this point, but I black pipped because I didn't get enough Chaser/Malicious. Also I feel like Gatekeeper is too inconsistent to be a reliable measure of skill. It should be based on the length of the game while factoring in the number of survivors left in the trial. It should not use number of gens done/not done as a unit of measure because you can't protect 7 gens from being done. You can protect 4, or do things to stall/slow the game but you can't micromanage survivor objectives.
-
The cooldown triggers when the killer disturbs crows. It's really stupid now.
I wanted them to remove the SOUND NOTIFICATION spam, but not the notification itself. Nor should killer trigger it.
-
@NathanExplosion said:
@thesuicidefox "God forbid a perk could exist that counters tunneling."
"Tunneling" is a term created by entitled survivor mains in an attempt to social shame the killer for removing a survivor early in the game (giving him then, an advantage for the rest of the game AKA playing efficiently).
I think we all have to agree to disagree.
LOL "created by entitled survivors"
No, it's a term used to describe a certain tactic used by killers. Has nothing to do with being entitled, when you go after one person the entire game and no one else it is OBJECTIVELY called tunneling because you have "tunnel vision" on a single survivor.
Sounds to me like you are one of those F tier killers that want to defend a cheesey tactic that literally anyone can pull off because you lack the capacity to actually do something worthwhile as killer. And it's actually NOT playing the game efficiently because when you tunnel someone you put absolutely 0 pressure on the rest of the group. It's only an effective tactic when the survivors are potatoes and don't rush gens to counter you. The fact you think it's the best way to play further proves my point that you are just an F tier killer.
And BTW using a meme doesn't automatically make you intelligent, nor does it validate your point.

I didn't know "Git gud" = "I'm also pixels away, too." The point is that this is bound to happen during reset, too, and many people having issues pipping at the red and purple are likely to have issues higher up, too. I'm someone who's almost always at rank 1 and can play competently. The thing holding me back the most is people killing themselves on hooks, farming you when hooked, and just not generally going for the save. I play competently despite people DCing/killing themselves on the hook, and I'm rewarded with a black pip in most cases.
I was agreeing with you and telling him what your point was. I wasn't saying to "git gud".

He's making the point that you will often be pixels away from a pip. This happens all the time to me at purple/red ranks.
-
EXACTLY!!! It's even worse at purple/red ranks. It's so lame.
-
@Condorloco_26 That's only if the guy playing Freddy is a trash killer, which most Freddy's are honestly. Freddy is VERY hard to use effectively, but when you know what you are doing with him you generally don't need to use those lame tactics. It's just people don't want to put in the time and take the L's to get better, so they take the path of least resistance and tunnel/camp, which are awful strategies for him.
-
@Bbbrian2013 He's actually pretty easy to hide from, the trick is you have to play him to understand how he sees the game. Dream World is very foggy and dark. If you don't hear a lullaby, as long as you're not standing out in the open, you are basically invisible.
Like I get why people don't like him but he's not hard to counter and as long as you don't get a dbag killer (which honestly a lot of Freddy players are, former Freddy main saying this BTW, and no I don't play like a dbag) then he is fun to go against.
-
I'm not having fun as survivor because I get robbed of pips almost every game. It's really frustrating. People say "BuT rAnK dOeSnT mAtTeR" well it matters to some people. I can get 32k BP and escape but if I don't pip the game's not rewarding to me. IDC if there's no rewards, I want to be rank 1 as surv and killer and I want to play against/with skilled opponents.
-
@Hoodedfengm1n No it was a different one of Gary's butt.
-
Doc and Legion.
Freddy's really not that bad but it depends on the player. If someone likes to play like a dbag Freddy makes it easy, like LF or Pig.
-
Coldwind wouldn't be so bad if they fixed the jungle gyms so that you couldn't see the killer at all times through the cracks in the wood. Every other map has these same jungle gyms but you can at the very least somewhat mind game them because they can't see you all the time. Only really good survivors will be able to do those loops perfectly. Coldwind though, any potato can loop you forever because THEY CAN SEE YOU.
And yea there are a lot of safe pallets on Temple. They need to adjust some of the spots so they are less safe, mostly at the stone walls and such outside of the Temple itself.
-
Yea I feel like Evader doesn't give enough points for how long some killers will chase you. I'm always pixels away from the next tier on this emblem, which costs me that 1 point I needed to pip. Really stupid.
Also because you got tunneled and no one else got hit/hooked you had 0 opportunities to get Benevolence. With the points to pip requirements being so high at purple/red ranks this makes it impossible to pip now.
-
Guys HybridPanda just posted a video and he used DS in the third match only to be downed again INSTANTLY because the killer had Enduring.
Enduring should affect pallet stuns and nothing else. It completely nullifies DS to a point where it's just obscene. And no this wouldn't drop Enduring out of killer meta, it would still be a very strong perk because you can still just disrespect every pallet. Not to mention Spirit Fury/Enduring is still and amazingly strong combo.
Killers that want Enduring to counter DS are just being children. Sorry no other way to put it. This perk got nerfed to hell, and just by virtue of what it USED TO BE killers want it to stay that way. God forbid a perk could exist that counters tunneling. I've played a crap ton of games as killer (currently just under rank 3) since the last update. HAVE NOT BEEN HIT BY DS ONCE AT ALL, because I don't tunnel people. It's so easy to avoid now it's not even funny. And yes I've had people using it in my games. If I down someone and expected a DS I would just slug them. Really not hard to do. If you get hit by DS, either the survivor made a good play and baited you into chasing them while it was active, or you are an F tier killer that thinks you are good at the game because you just focus down each survivor at a time. Sorry no.

Yea I just saw that video.
I had been thinking they need to increase the stun time, but now I think they need to make Enduring only apply to pallet stuns. Making it apply to stuns universally makes it stupidly powerful.

@Khroalthemadbomber Good find! Very cool that we can get stacks of RM/STBFL through Broken with purge. I will have to try one of these now.

Ranking up at purple/red ranks is near impossible because there are not enough opportunities to get the points needed for emblems on an individual basis. If you get chased a long time, you can't get Ben or LB. If you never get chased you can't get Chaser. If someone gets hooked you have to race 2 other survivors for the rescue. And if the killer decides to camp/tunnel anyone at any point, you just depipped. Safety pip if you were lucky and managed to do 3 gens solo. If you rescue someone and they go potato, running to the killer so you lose a safe rescue, then you just got screwed out of a pip, maybe even a safety pip. You literally have to do everything yourself, but since there are 3 other survivors that's usually impossible.
I really, really hate it right now. Borderline making me want to quit playing survivor. Killer ranking is messed up too, but not nearly as bad. I feel the people complaining most about killer ranking are those that constantly camp, tunnel, use OP add-ons, or use moris all the time. However I've still been screwed out of a pip in certain instances even if I got a 4k 5 gen. You have a bit more control over whether or not you pip as killer, but not enough for it to be a consistent measure of skill.
Both systems measure luck more than anything.

Turn your sensitivity up to at least 75 so you can do it quickly. That's important. After that it's like playing any other third person free camera game, like GTA, where you can look around and move in any direction. Take note of what's in front of you and map out a path before you look behind you. When you vault stuff you can quickly look behind you and then look back forward as you finish the vault. Just practice.

@LegendofXander Yea I had a slug/heartbeat build using Distressing, M&A, and Inf Fright. If my math is correct, you will have a 30m TR when not in a chase and a 50m TR when in a chase. So you get the best of both worlds. A slightly smaller TR that gives you more ability to sneak up on survivors, and a giant TR when you finish a chase to proc Inf Fright across the map. I'm thinking the last perk would be Knockout, but someone mentioned elsewhere on the forum that Inf Fright doesn't proc on downed survivors so you might need Deerstalker instead.
