They would ruin him. He'd get bullied worse then in his own game, and he'd be weak AF! I hope they never get the rights...
Honestly, he could turn out to be "The Smasher". He smashes through doors and stuff pretty often.

The Trapper can still place 1 trap at each Exit Gate and laugh at the last remaining survivor.
The Hag,The Nightmare, and the Demogorgon have counters when "trapping" the Exit Gates.
Yeah... and...?
What if there's more than one survivor left? What if the full squad finished all five generators?

It looks great, the traps are good without add-ons and with some X add-ons it makes the traps very deadly. But these add-ons that decrease the disarm time have all the same effect with the difference being numbers, so its kinda boring. This brutal strenght with 50% tho, its mounstrous, you will break the pallet in like one second.
Being realistic now, Trapper will be forever like he's because he is the first killer every new killer that join the dbd will play, and your Trapper rework against new survivors would make them be frustated with the game. But good Trappers can overcome his weak points and turn him into an strong Killer if you know what you're doing.
I love playing Trapper, it forces you to play strategically and be aware during the entire match, cuz if you don't, you will lose very badly againt good survivors. Most people who plays Trapper (including myself) just asks that he can at least carry more traps by default, like 3 or 4, because having to use add-ons just to be able to manage traps from their places is ridiculous.
Thanks for replying!
I know the coil add-ons are kinda boring, but I also know a lot of people who really like them and I didn't have many ideas for new add-ons. Thinking back, I would like Mr. Trap to have a perk-like add-on similar to Nurse. Something like "picking up a survivor from a trap will give Trapper the Agitation effect" or "when a survivor is trapped, you break pallets and generators faster for a certain period of time."
Tried to make Brutal Strength more effective in higher level play. Even if a change like this game, I don't see it being used much more often, but I feel like it's a good change. It'll change up the gameplay a bit too, as survivors will be a bit more cautious when camping the pallet.

Not bad, but I think a little on the too powerful side. Hindered is underused in this game, yes, but to inflict it regardless if a Survivor gets free from the trap or not - just to allow the Trapper to tunnel them down doesn't exactly seem fair even if it is logical. It's enough to have skill checks required to break free - but resetting progress and possibly eternally being stuck in skill checks is a little too much I think; even the 15 seconds auto-release is lengthy.
I get the premise though; the Trapper's traps aren't really "scary" enough to warrant worrying about, most just get broken and disarmed or Survivors trigger them across the map from you and you can't get to them in time to free them. But I don't think these changes are how to go about it.
Thanks for your feedback!
I see your point about Hindered. It does seem too punishing to survivors that are already injured. My thought process was that just the Deep Wound State wouldn't be enough, as good survivors wouldn't be too affected by it. As for Hindered afflicting survivors if they free themselves, I think it's a fair addition, and would encourage more team play, which could in turn lead to easier escapes from Traps.
Wanted to clarify on the escape part. Failing a skill check will not reset the automatic escape timer, but only the manual escape timer. Survivors would only spend at max fifteen seconds in a trap. Maybe that timer can be lowered to something like twelve or ten seconds, and not include the Hindered effect with automatic escape.
So, toning down the severity of Hindered as well as reducing the time before release in traps seems to be more fair. How's it sound?

Still incorrect.
At base she can move a max distance of 35.2m.

Incorrect.
Yakuyoke Amulet and Katsumori Talisman let's her travel 63.8m.
Yakuyoke Amulet and Mother Daughter Ring let's her travel 69.19m.
Yakuyoke Amulet and Dirty Uwabaki let's her travel 59.84m.
meant to specify at base
-
I feel like this should be an entirely separate game mode, which could lead into unique game modes specific to each killer!
-
Spirit and the Stand Still To Mindgames.
-
So... it's autoaim, but it doesn't work.
-
Not removed, but needs to be reworked definitely. Sole Survivor could also use some tweaking to make it more powerful.
-
Nurse lol?
-
Posted a similar comment on the video yesterday, but the conditions for the warmup to end need to be specified a bit more, as they can be abused. Survivors can just run up to the killer and initiate a chase or sneak up behind a killer and hide.
-
With Ghostie? Not a good time at all. He has no map pressure or game delay. It's awful even with Sloppy, Nurse's, Thanatophobia, and Whispers.
-
spirit can only move at max 50 meters when using phase walk
-
Yes... YES PLEASE!
-
Great on both Nurse and Ghostie. Better control over Blinking and wider stalk range/better accuracy when swinging respectively.
-
Also Doctor is great now. I'd say he's low A-tier now.
Replace Doctor with Pig.
-
You can be bullied to all hell with flashlights and rendered completely passive for 10 seconds at a time lol.
-
Burning an offering for your return, @Bigbootiejudy666 .
Moo Moo is in dire need of-- mAP REwOrK-- care. Their home needs some tidying up. For now, Moo Moo's home space could use a good daily sweeping until further adjustments are made.
I would like to announce my resignation from Rework Council and am now campaigning for President of the Sneaky Stalkers!
-
Only problem with Freddy is that he should not be able to have 10 dream pallets. They are the main survivor defense. Reduce to 5.
-
I'm saying current color based, since I have a strong feeling that the MMR system will be even worse...
-
The name should reflect in their apearance/power always. Does The Rich throw quarters a the survivors?
-
The fact that you have to buy a single perk 4 times to buy the same perk 3 more times per character to get the full use out of it on the character you want to use it on is ludicrous.
-
A tier. He's amazing and fun to play as and against.

Um have you tried camping?
Nah, not yet, gonna lean and stalk w/ Ghostie behind the hook, should be uncounterable. >:)

@ClickyClicky said:
Fine, but just don't camp/tunnel to counter DS and BT
I'm so insanely tired of this statement, especially when it comes to Borrowed Time and the new hook tech, as survivors can just run up to their teammate on the hook and get a free save completely unscathed in front of the killer's face.

Doc just doesn't fit into the equation at all for me. His 1v1 with Shock Therapy is decent but there's plenty of other killers that do it better/as adequately as him (Freddy being the closest comparison). His map info is great sure, but you can only really capitalize on one person at a time anyway so why care about that? You should have a general idea of where people are most of the time anyway, and Whispers/BBQ exists if you want to be extra sure on a different killer. T3 is as irrelevant as it's always been. Afflictions are useless. The only good add-ons IMO are Calm (which was already useful beforehand) and purple Order (which makes T3 a little more useful as you can build it much quicker).
Doc has no way to snowball effectively and suffers a lot on big maps. Automatic B- or C tier for me.
@thefallenloser Also what the hell are you even on about. People were trying to peddle that flick nonsense when Oni first came out like it was some godlike move you could do with your controller sticks. It got you a little more of an angle/turn but screwed up your positioning horribly and didn't really solve anything. The mid-chapter solved it perfectly. The 90 degree turn comes out quickly and you only need to use 1 stick to achieve it. There's no real technical skill involved, just positioning.
huh?
I've had success when playing Oni using that technique, so I dunno what you're talking about.
-
I... don't understand the FNAF hate lol. Half of the people are saying "would be nice and has lots of potential but bad fanbase" but then DBD players are twice as bad as anyone from the "toxic FNAF fanbase" and the other half are saying "way too out of place and wouldn't fit the feel of the game" and then proceed to play The Clown in his elephant costume.
Can we just accept DBD is a compilation of horror icons and original characters instead of an actual horror game?
If anything, FNAF chapter would be a net win for DBD, it'll bring in so many players, same with Stranger Things.

OP might as well have been asking what characters do and don't you want. Should've been expected people would answer for both lol.

Was actually wondering which was the largest group. I had assumed it was PC but so far, PlayStation is dominating.
Hello 20 frames family!
-
Console player here.
New Nurse and Oni are basically soft nerfed on console, as they way they play is completely reliant on how you can turn the camera, which is not good on console killers at all.
Old Nurse, Billy, Spirit, and yes, Oni (flick is possible, not many people know how to do it, and it's tricky, flick the analog sticks in opposite directions while in Demon Dash) all have insane map pressure and chase potential. Oni especially has what is probably the second best power in the game, after Nurse. If he didn't have to build up his power, it'd be insane. Both Nurses can bypass all survivor defenses and have high movement speed. Billy has insane movement and a one-shot. Spirit has absolutely mental mindgames and movement speed. Oni has a power that literally makes survivors want to hide, because it's so fast and has a one-shot.
Doc is REALLY good. He can stop survivors from looping and their main objective for a long time, plus, he has the best information in the game.
Lemme add in Huntress. Huntress has the highest skill ceiling in the game. Her hatchets are quick and deadly, and scare survivors out of doing certain things. Her small terror radius lets her sneak up on survivors. She can down survivors from across the map. She's insane, but requires a ton of skill.
-
I kill myself more that the killer can kill me at this point lol.
Oh boy killer sure is fun now huh?
-
While I do agree that slugging is not fun for survivors and should not exist (survivors should have one free Unbreakable to counter slug abuse), slugging for a minute or two to apply pressure is fine, and sometimes necessary.
-
Literally every Freddy I go against has dream pallets and a Mori, holy hell...
-
Unhook, see the killer aura.
EZ S-tier perk on par with BBQ.
-
I'd rather give all Killers base Shadowborn. The game is balanced around Killers having a first-person camera, but Shadowborn make it much easier to look at for extended periods of time.

@thefallenloser Don't feel like it's a bad thing that you also have an idea for a Legion rework (and one that looks both extremely fun and strategically devious); the more people want it, hopefully the more likely Behavior is to listen. I submitted my own idea for a Legion rework that similarly capitalized on there being several of them. I really, really like your take on it.
Now, that said, I do have some minor critiques. Purely friendly.
The wording on the Imminent Death state is vague; is it the Legion that becomes immobile, or the Survivor?
The Never-Sleep Pills seems exceptionally powerful for an uncommon add-on; you basically would have three 15m radars you could put on the map. This would be monstrous on some maps (particularly indoor ones, think what this'd be like on Underground Lab), and would also be quite nasty for proxy camping.
The Legion Pin: Hiding in chests... The Legion members are small, but I don't recall any lore about Frank and the bunch being contortionists in their spare time. Plus, very limited utility; 1-4 random spots (minus basement) that Survivors may not even bother with? Perhaps, drawing from my own Legion rework, have it allow them to hide under windows for an ambush.
Julie, Susie, and Joey's mixtapes seem to just be an upgrade, downgrade, and sidegrade/counterpart of Discordance, Iron Maiden, and Mad Grit, respectively. Julie's would be better than running Discordance, Susie's would be outclassed by Iron Maiden, and Joey's would work very well in tandem with Mad Grit. I do like the idea of addons synergizing with the Killer's own perks, but replacing them, ehhh.
Fuming Mix Tape: If the vague wording of the Imminent Death state indicates the Legion getting stunned, this add-on clearly clashes with that functionality. If not, unless the Frenzy ended after the fourth hit immediately, any future hits beyond that would allow Legion to be a 5.2m+/s speed instadown killer on any Survivor. Would basically be chainstab NOED without a totem at that point.
Hey @Levitika , thanks a ton for stopping in!
Thanks for your comments, as it pointed out my weird wording due to writing this for quite a while. (i think at some point i started confusing myself lol)
Imminent Death is meant to stun The Legion, not the survivor.
Never Sleep does seem a bit too powerful now that I'm looking back on it. I was borrowing the Killer Instinct idea from The Demogorgon's Upside Down portals. Perhaps maybe something like Killer instinct within 10 meters while charging/using Feral Frenzy?
Hiding in chests was just some weird extra place I figured they could hide for more randomness. Windows would be a lot more practical though.
I really enjoyed the idea of Nurse's new add-ons containing some of her perks inside of them, and would really enjoy seeing it in more killers, hence the Legion perk add-ons.
Sorry for not being more clear about Fuming. Fuming should ignore the Imminent Death Legion stun and instadown the last survivor, ending the Frenzy. The chain should also reset after the Frenzy ends, which means Legion would have to stab 3 survivors in Frenzy again before they can instadown the fourth one.
Hopefully this cleared things up. I'll be updating the original post to be more clear for more readers as well.

Bugs that literally stop her from even using her power, and way too clunky. You should definitely be able to charge a blink during power recovery.

They have a point though. This would just encourage camping, which is not a good idea. This would also hurt solo survivors, but not swf survivors. That's why I would not want to see this change myself either.
This is fair. I do actually see how this could be abused now. @ClickyClicky was right, though I still feel as though it can be really annoying to get revealed when you're really far away by a hooked survivor. I think that it would be a fair compromise to have them have a reduced reveal range instead.
-
I have found this and will now proceed to stalk again.

@Plaquer said:
Having night shroud revealed by incapacitated survivors is to help mitigate and discourage camping, being able to camp as a stealth killer who could immediately expose the rescuer would just promote a hag-like playstyle, why chase when you can just camp and win easier?
Maybe they should have an increased reveal timer, or a reduced reveal range (say 24 meters)? Being able to reveal while incapacitated from up to 32 meters is pretty annoying, as you could accidentally wander into range, from a pretty far distance away.

no matter where you go you see lots of comments about GF being awful to play against. It's definitely not a niche opinion. He commonly seems to be one of the most disliked.
All GF players run his recharge add ons. It's common knowledge those are his best and every GF runs them to ensure his stealth recharges as fast as possible.
He's meant to make noise but yeah audio is broken right now so it's easily drowned out, also 8m? you're basically on top of the survivor at that point.
No matter where you look, twitch, here, youtube, reddit, twitter it is commonly agreed that GF is one of the stronger killers in the game and feels bad to play against. I think it is you who needs to stop projecting that he's underpowered for red ranks and perfectly fun to go against.
No matter where you go you also see people clamoring for Freddy nerfs, DS buffs, Dead Hard nerfs, and etc. People will always complain about stuff they lose to.
Please, actually show me these majority of people online complaining about Ghost Face.
Because this and one other thread a few days ago are literally the only posts I've ever seen calling for Ghost Face to be nerfed.
I guarantee those people don't understand his power completely, and don't play Ghost Face at red ranks.
-
Ghostie main, and he cannot traverse the map fast enough to stop 2-4 gens from popping. Maps are simply way too large for some killers.

And yet buffs were handed out when killer mains cried, now we end up with the killer who a lot would agree is the least fun killer in the game.
his stealth is bullshit. He removes terror radius, has no noise, no red stain, no slowdown or no penalty to attacking unlike other stealth killers
He’s awful and ruins the game for a lot of other players.
its funny how hes not allowed to be changed because people dont find him fun yet when killers didnt find him fun THEN he had to be changed. Double standards. GF was DESIGNED to have a 16m auditory warning.
Once again, who the HECK is "a lot"?
You and your friends or the people you watch on YouTube or Twitch does not count, as it's not an accurate rep of people's actual opinions.
His stealth is removed for 35 seconds in like 3-4 different ways.
He does make noise. His cloaks flapping are actually pretty discernible when nearby (if sound worked lol).
Ghost Face was designed to what, lol?
Please, just stop projecting you opinion on something you clearly do not understand.
