Usually play against/with rank 1- 4 survivors, occasionally the purple, but people use spine chill so much now, so as soon as it lights up they're gone.
What helps me a ton is coming from a different direction than they anticipate. I usually can't guess if they have spine chill but sometimes its funny to not look at them until really close. Had a person tell me they got scared out of their mind when I did that one game.

You are thinking back to how the game used to be. It used to be killer sided for sure, but after whiny survivors complained, the devs added a boatload of pallets. While i think a killer like Nurse still does well, most m1 killers have too many safe pallets to deal with.
The Saw map never received any update, if it has then I haven't noticed since October. By my estimation the only pallets that are truly safe are the two outside basement and one that may spawn under the stairs which is a one way. As for too many pallets, I always have fun mindgaming those. However, the claim that "The Game" map is survivor sided like the Original Poster claims is just pure bait or driven by a bad experience on there.

guy you prob have the least experience here shush
The fact that you didn't decide to respond to my post about why I don't think the Saw map "The Game" is survivor sided says a lot about how a majority of the people on these forums will just attempt to bait and troll. Or shitpost which is what this is.
If you want to make it about experience then fine. Perhaps you could actually post something worthwhile about why in your experience you think my points are wrong. But if not then its typical of you I guess.

Ok, let's just say I have very, very ######### games on this map as a killer.
Usually people camp in corners, wait for me to leave and then do gens (a tactic I've also seen my team doing and have joined in on).
Yes its not great for looping, but if you know where to hide then it's possible.
There are also many pallets that you cant mind game. Two on the bottom floor and 2-3 on the top, with an extra few pallets that may spawn that are hard to mind game.
Maybe I've drank one to many tonight, but this is what I think of the map.
It's very easy to locate people, and if a gen has progress but no scratch marks and you are 99% sure someone is nearby chances are they are behind the wall. I find it easier than some other maps when I can tell survivors were just working on the gen.
As for pallets, the only three that I always want out of the way are the two outside basement (unless the bathroom gen is done) and one under the stairs that have a platform and go up to another safe pallet which I normally force them to waste.
This surely won't help but what survivor ranks do you face most commonly?

This whole post is a bait but I'm neutral on the haddonfield and game debate. If RNG allows it. Haddonfield can spawn too mant safe pallets. And that combined with the debris makes minigames alot harder
I'm not saying Haddonfield isn't survivor sided, but "the game" (SAW MAP) is anything but.

It has too many pallets. It's hard 4 me to get past rank 15 cuz I keep getting that map and it has too mant windows
Then that's an issue you'll need to get better at.
Nearly all the pallets are mindgameable with only 3 that are truly must break immediately. One of which can be made extremely unsafe when survivors do the generator next to it. Window hits are easy to get when you zone survivors and cut them off which the map allows quite easily, more so as survivors complete certain generators that open paths.
I'd love to have a sit-down analysis of the map and lay out why its not survivor sided at all but comparing it to Haddonfield is just incorrect and misleading.

stop exagerating stuff, jesus, killers dont get that much more than a survivor, you sure like to exagerate things to stupid proportions
As Doctor when I run BBQ I get at minimum 64k easily. Do that with either survivor puddings or bps and that immediately is another 32k. Combine that with bloodrush and its another 16k. Survivors don't have that so I'm gonna have to disagree with you. Especially since its 112k bloodpoints in a perfect game.
-
The fact that you consider the game to also be survivor sided makes me want to laugh out loud.

I picked her up to hook her further away, so I can then see the aura of the other two survivors on the ground with BBQ, it was strategic. What I didn't count on, was being punished for taking advantage of their mistakes by staying too close to the hook.
I understand your POV, however, I really have to disagree in seeing the logic of why someone in my position should be punished for capitalizing on THEIR mistakes.
The best part is when you downed her you got infectious on both of them. The only thing wrong with this is the victimhood mentality of someone who made a mistake despite having every other possible play available. You did this, the perk only helped reinforce that you ######### up and instead of admitting that you 100% could have played that better you are seeking to blame anything but yourself.
On a side note, I'd love to see the ranks as the video tells me you and these survivors aren't high up there with good game sense.
-
Just decrease the cooldown for AMN
-
The smarter thing to do would have been to prevent an unbreakable play. Not much to cry about with that mistake OP made.
-
First time playing plague, as you can see I was at a disadvantage not knowing who to avoid as they had ds.
-
I don't care about distance. I care when they use iri heads and infantry belt to carry 3 at a time. Then when they miss all 3 at close range they dc despite having an ebony.

I'd rather take advice for changes from a baby killer than a baby survivor any day.
Survivors have it too easy. And before you say anything, I'm Rank 3 and yes.
Survivors have it way too easy.
Survivors don't have it easy imo. Before you say anything I'm rank 1 and yes.
Survivors don't have it easy lmao.
Quality bait post. Almost couldn't tell @danielmaster87 ! :D

Survivors complained the most,
- Spirit Beads, because "no counter to the gen grabbing"
- Dirty Blade, because " mend times too long"
- Chains and ropes, "forever Freddy too Op"
- Calm add ons, "oh no, the skill checks are too difficult"
- and many more viable builds destroyed due to "tOo Op".
So the answer to your question is survivors, survivors had the biggest issues with add ons. Because they want to play on easy mode while teabagging after they knock over a pallet and think it is them popping off.
Spirit Beads: Literally no counter at all. Like literally nothing
Dirty Blade: Imagine thinking that sitting in one spot holding m1 for 5 minutes straight is balanced LOL
Chains and ropes: Freddy has a very simple power that requires little to no interaction. I would imagine it artificially dragged the games out longer than what they intended. But I never played against old chains and ropes.
Calm addons: In what world was the change to Doctor a nerf. Considering they are default base kit.
-Many other viable builds: Someone doesn't understand balance.
DS/BL/BT/Insta Heals and many other viable builds destroyed due to "tOo Op".
Get a room honestly. As for the changes to the maps this update I could care less as I didn't love infinites cause they were boring.
-
Its Wretched shop that is more awful on the ptb. Perhaps looking at a map that actually got changed will assist you in determining the quality of it rather than one that didn't get touched.

Nobody was complaining about the removal of infinites. We were complaining about the lack of pallets that exist now and the sheer amount of dead zones there are.
Plus the entitled killer's taking their turn with the victimhood mentality. This will be reversed with the next update lol

I'd get facecamped for pallet stunning a killer.
Very Petty
Imo the only thing that is not fun and interactive is getting facecamped on your first hook. Then again so is being mori'd straight off first hook.
-
Nice bait
-
The only irritating thing asides from addons giving good buffs with no negative side effects like charge time, is the vfx witnessed in the ptb.
-
I've been playing on both sides in the ptb and I have to say.
Most tiles have been moved and changed which has resulted in many more deadzones. Wretched shop with the removal of the "exploit" infinite loop, has 13 pallets with 8 that are "safe". The changes in tiles left massive dead zones where strong tiles/safe tiles were before.
The update specifically addressed what it was changing in terms of what to expect. If you are disappointed then perhaps you should read the whole post to understand what was being changed.
-
This has been fixed.

Insta heals did not get buffed, they're no longer "Insta Heals".. and healing speeds got increased to counter the fact that instas got nerfed and green med kits got nerfed.
Sabotage speeds got increased but no one is going to waste a toolbox to be able to insta sabo hooks that respawn 20 seconds later. Hooks spawn way to close and make saboing completely useless.
Balanced Landing - No sound when falling? Thats great except for the fact that you're usually in a chase when you fall anyway.. and it doesnt even come close to making up for the stagger reduction nerf.
Lery's - They removed almost all looping windows making the remaining window vaults are now completely useless and the totem spots are hidden in ridiculous areas.
Addons - We have 4 times the amount of addons that killers do and have a hard time escaping matches as it is.. We shouldn't need to run a perk just for a "slim" chance of actually keeping our add-ons.
Wiggle Progression - Again a 7% reduction in progression is massive when no one is sabotaging hooks and killers want to slug. Flip Flop is also a perk that literally no one uses because hooks spawn so close together. The only time Flip Flop/Unbreakable worked was when you could 99% a Hook in a corner, sabo it and run into the corner before a killer could down you.
Toolboxes - A fully decked out toolbox with a brand new part can only get a generator to 50% now, when old ones use to be able to complete 2 full generators when working with a teammate. Now, an entire toolbox can be completely wasted if a killer chases you off and hits the gen with PGTW.
Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk, where I completely destroy all of your Killer Minded points. But alas, you killer mains are always right, no matter what happens. You'll always be the victims, you'll always be underpowered, and you'll always tell survivors to "git gud" when you guys are the ones complaining about us needing to be nerfed over and over and over.
This is so accurate oh my god.
-
How dare survivors use their ears.
-
As of right now when I am on the ptb I have my progress up to when it was saved.
-
This isn't bait. If Ghostface can no longer clap my cheeks I'm going to uninstall.
-
The vocal minority of survivors seem to be the loudest ones on this forums. Wouldn't really put much weight behind what you see on this considering most people don't care about what goes on here.
-
Why is every post now seeking to provoke some sort of response over a patch that too be honest, does nothing but improve the quality of maps for both survivors and killers.
I main survivor and the thing is people aren't that good if they truly have to rely on the infinites. When I used them I felt disgusted and would always bail out of that tile so I don't rely on that too much. The gen speeds are minimal and I am more interested in how stake out would work in relation to skill check progress.
Of course its DBD so both sides will attempt to take the piss on the other. Kinda why this post along with many others is expected. Some sort of "getting back at those dang <insert role here>" from people with a victimhood complex.
-
Unlike the original poster, I don’t need to lobby dodge tough opponents to win.
-
It’s not really going to bother me either way.
-
So don't use a perk that was changed while on the ptb which is literally where you can test ######### that is changed.
-
Something that is boring is something that isn't fresh or exciting.
I.e. The fact that every Freddy you face you already know they are running at least 2 out of 4 perks which takes away the fun.
Spirit just needs to use one perk and then when you are hit you are ######### no matter what 90% of the time.
Don't know why Clown is considered boring cause every single one I face is something new. His power is just effective in forcing loops being dropped so I get more practice attempting to chain loops together against him.
I would say people coming on and saying survivors just want to easily bully the killer are what's wrong with the community.
-
Return his damn phone instead of that camera.
-
"Strategic"=no skill
-
Don't ######### about DS then
-
The killer just is in a better position to complete his objective than the survivor is. Not really about being entitled to the 4th kill but generally most posts like these attempt to stick it to one side or the other.

Really? Dead hard? Can easily be baited. Ds? Leave there for the time being till the minute is up
Adrenaline is broken no arguement there
Mettle of man is hot trash
For the people is actually bad
Sprint burst is Barely even that good
Head on can be easily countered with a bait
Inner strength is pretty good tho
Second chance is bad
And breakout is awesome
So in total you have roughly 3-4 perks that are able to give second chances without being countered
In what world is Inner strength a second chance perk LMAO.
Also someone else said that Lery's was extremely survivor sided like LOL. There's almost no good pallets that you can mindgame at and you can only get away if the killer is dumb.

4x1 is applied even on BP scores so if four people gets 10-15k points the Survivors got 40-60k points and even the perfect run for a Killer is 32k.
I consistently see Solo Survivor with more BP than Killer on end screen, choosing a role don't magically gives you points you still have to earn them.
I would say tho, using wglf consistently is much more difficult to get stacks than killers getting bbq stacks.
-
I mean, 32m circumference circles around every hook in the map didn't seem broken to you guys. I suggested lowering that, and it also at the same time would add slowdown like thrill of the hunt to sabotage. But the aura reading to see almost everything happening on the map was too addictive for a perk that is not meant for that.

Another thread that as usual doesn’t contribute anything

WOW! your a really cool guy for staying on top of the press releases!
I know! It definitely is cool to read. It also helps when there is a tab in game called “News!” You should take a peak at it sometime.
It also helps that I already saw what was on level 4 of tome 2.
:)
-
It actually is, because the subjects of the tomes were released earlier so it’s two survivors and two killers. Not a third.
-
I don’t have any of those except for adrenaline, and I typically only complain if I believe the killer played poorly and only got kills due to noed.
-
Same with hangman's trick
-
I think it certainly isn't balanced around SWF but SWF have it easier, at the same time when I'm playing in a swf with rank 1-4 we often lose cause we just mess around and goof off.
-
@Mandy said:
No it's not bannable and nor should it be, the game is not over until either the survivors are dead or have left - or the EGC ends the game. As a killer you can go and hit them to end the game and tbagging will never be bannable! Unsportsmanlike Behaviour is for things like botting or lag switching. So please do not waste Support's time by reporting people for tbagging.
I assume insults and telling someone to kill themselves in the post game chat is a reportable thing.
-
I just run ds and ignore complaining about “second chance perks”

@Steve0333 said:
If you play both killer and survivor, sometimes you'll get into games as survivor with others who you beat earlier as killer and then they hold grudges as sore losers and purposely try to get you killed or refuse to save you from hook. Not sure if that's what happened here but it's happened to me before and it's stupid.
Saw a video Tru3 had on it and yeah its so dumb.

@Steve0333 said:
I just feel like a lot of survivors just dont really appreciate it. When I bring a bps (bloody party streamer) into a match as killer I'm never trying to play super sweaty. I try to avoid doing anything toxic or unfun like camping or tunneling or slugging. Hell even if it's the end game I wont camp or slug. But I dont farm. I'm still going to play normally and hook the survivors I down.
But still I get a lot of survivors who dc or I get survivors who just rush gens super quick, like I wont even have two hooks yet and the exit gates are powered. I'm just like "why?" You dont care about blood points? I'm just trying to have a little fun here and share in the wealth but it seems a lot of survivors just aren't having it.
Most of my matches where the killer brings BPS its because they are trying super hard and don't want to feel bad when survivors end with under 10k points. This normally is like infinite t3 myers or another person who is running a super op build.
So truthfully, I groan because while double bloodpoints is nice, the fact that the match will most likely end quickly isn't as appealing. Especially if I want to maximize the points I get.
