I’m on PS4 and I’ve clicked the external link in the news and searched everywhere but there’s nowhere to login. I’ve been playing every day but I don’t know where to login and I have no login rewards! This is very frustrating!
Just by opening the game you should receive the rewards. I did after jumping into queues without having to do anything special so you should open a customer support ticket
-
Wasn’t there a 4th anniversary stream where they had a roadmap for the next year
-
I wouldn’t say what they said but if a huntress got anything less than a 4K they deserve a “lmao gg” for having good addons and still not managing to secure a win.
-
Other killer players who are better have already done the very same build. Not interested in hearing whining about swf and everything else when people like Fungoose can deliver higher quality, educational content without a toxic chat.
:)

Letting a player escape should count as them dying

You gotta escape the trial as killer duh..
All jokes aside itll probably be get a 4k as thats normally what happens
Regardless of the result if the killer finishes the trial they get the crown, so if you don't get a 4k you don't need to worry lol

He missed

You had 2 gens left. Of course he was going to start using his mori. If he waited until 1 gen was left that's just begging for half you to get away as it suddenly pops and people hope/adrenaline away.
But he does sound salty. I hate head on. It has no real counter and its range is silly to the point I've bene head on cleary meters or far outside the range of the front of the locker but end game chats like this is what make the community just generally more miserable and salty for everyone.
I'm not bothered by the mori as my goal was just getting my stacks and max boldness from sabo'ing, but when he sat next to me nodding for almost 3 minutes (having been slugged for about a minute while he broke pallets and gens which I don't care about) that kinda crosses the line.

I mean, I see both sides here.
As a killer nothing tilts me over the edge quite like multiple stuns in quick succession, and Head On is the WORST, MOST OBNOXIOUS for this.
It generally results in the killer having a miserable time, and wanting to pay that back to the survivors.
Yeah I understand that but it was two stuns, once during the entire match.

I just had a game where i was level 50 about to P1 Cheryl with my last BPS and this dumbass PH with the premium skin brings a mori lol.
It is what it is. Doesn't "killers" a bad name it just means that guy in particular sucked. If you ONLY play killer or ONLY play survivor then you probably suck to play with you know?
I was thinking more along the lines of survivor/killer interaction and how toxicity can shape perceptions. After a game like that its harder for me to know whats considered toxic by killers when stuff like "head on is toxic" is thrown around.

How? I received the BP gift that put me over the cap, however, when I completed my challenge, it didn't add the BP.
Having been given bp by the devs I know why:
When you get given bp it doesn't count towards the 1,000,000 cap. Challenges and dailies won't push you over the cap of one million because its not being given by the devs. I hope that makes sense
-
For the same reason killers slug for the 4K, they feel they have put in so much effort
-
I find that the act of using such an offering will encourage the very thing you dislike which is “gen rush”

No lol this has to be a bait post MoM borrowed time and other endurance perks are there for the purpose of protecting you from a hit your just asking them to buff camping
Exactly what I thought

I don’t think it would be fair because I would 100% block Samantha the spirit so I don’t have a frustrating game
-
They already get punished for it
-
I play nurse with no perks or addons and still do fine, I think people just overreact
-
Odd bulb
-
Remove odd bulb, buff styptic, make an ultra rare addon for key and maps

The spirit is fine as is. The crystals light up when phasing. However, prayer beads need a change. IMO even at rank one, spirit is one of the more fun killers to run against(not including prayer beads) and is still fairly easy to escape against.
Asides from the crystals not lighting up when she phases which has been literally proven to be false. Also on outfits like schoolgirl there are no visible crystals so even if it was true a lot of spirits run that cosmetic.
I imagine that has some form of paying for an advantage
-
As a survivor main I feel the addon nerf is something I have come to accept
-
Spirit without stridor=respect

Do you think it would be fair if survivors had an offering that made it so they only have to do two generators before the exit gates are powered? Mind you, the offering would be Ultra Rare, and therefore appear in every second bloodweb, just like ebony moris do for killers.
Seriously, if you unironically need to rely on ebony moris to win matches then I don't know what to tell you.
Dont forget about the following ultra rare bloodweb items
Map, Syringe, Bulb, BNP that would also dilute its appearance

I think an effect that ultimately bypasses every hook based perk survivors have should be difficult to achieve

Let me put it this way: If you're defining the Survivors ultimate objective as 'Escaping' then it is equally valid to described the Killer's ultimate objective as 'Killing all 4 Survivors'.
Think of it like this now: Survivors have to finish multiple generators to open the exit gate and get out in the same way that a Killer has to hook a survivor multiple times to get the payoff of their Devout Emblem.
Keys allow a survivor to Bypass whole generators and the process of opening the Exit Gate with a single click of the mouse button once the Hatch has spawned in the exact same way that a Killer is able to Bypass hook stages via their Mori.
These two mechanics are, functionally, not as different as you seem to believe.
Personally I believe the killer’s goal is to sacrifice all 4 survivors. Since the Mori allows the killer to just straight up kill them without sacrificing them to the entity it makes sense that there is a difference in the reward or emblems for that very action.
The two mechanics are similar but given that it’s an asymmetrical game the rewards for each side will always be different.

Thats a major reach to explain this away. Tge entity isnt real. The devs made a choice. Maybe it was an oversight, maybe it was intentional, either way its a bad call
I’m simply exploring different reasons as to why the emblem system rewards pips for mori’s and hatch escapes the way it does.
Fundamentally I don’t think an offering should give an equivalent pip score that would have been achieved without it. Of course I don’t know the specific score rewarded for Mori or keys but that’s something I’d like to find out.
I actually never noticed if I pipped solely by escaping through the hatch but I always liked the 7000 points.
-
wouldnt there be a disparity because of the different goals the key and Mori have.
Key: Helps survivors escape which is literally their objective
Mori: Allows the killer to kill the survivor without sacrificing them. While the killers objective is to kill survivors it’s rewarded by sacrificing them to the entity rather than straight up murdering them because then the entity gets cranky

I've yet to get long queue times.
Didn’t think it would have to be explained but ok.
Right now cross play is not rolled out. This means everyone on your platform is matchmaking in the same queue. When you opt out I assume it would be similar to how pc platforms operate now between steam and windows store. You get matched by default with everyone but if you opt out you only get matched with people who have opted out of crossplay. Turning it off would only matchmake you against people on the same platform who have also opted out.
i assume a large amount of console players won’t bother changing back the option so when everyone is migrated over then the game queue times for your specific platform will be insanely slow as you would not be matched against the current pool

This post encouraged me to burn every ormond offering I have
-
A lot of people recommend playing survivor for at least 200 hours when you first start. I think you should do that

Ye but he Is only reliable with those perks (Nemesis and PWYF) maybe people wont use it if they already have normsl speed, bcs of u use those two perks u are left with other two, usually PGTW and Corrupted, maybe that would change? But prob devs would do something completely opposite.
I honestly believe people would run that combo because it’s just that good, if his chainsaw charging didn’t reduce his movementspeed as much it would be even better as it would be faster without losing spacing between the survivor and you when you were at 3 stacks
on a side note op legion before being changed was the worst ever.
-
I’d rather not have bubba’s chainsaw charge movement speed buffed cause 3 stacks of pywf would have him moving close to normal speed allowing him to literally hold m2 and walk around faster than a regular killer
-
I don’t find him op or boring. I just think facing him is more of an endurance test because gens will take longer, and the match will take longer to the point where it shifts to the killer’s advantage. It requires thinking “oh I can’t throw down pallet after pallet” but I have never felt like “I don’t know how I could have done better” against a Freddy compared to a spirit.
This is as a survivor main I feel this way
-
It doesn't say on the wiki but I imagine its similar to Hope
-
Have you even used the survivor perks?
-
I’m taking the ptb serious to get an idea on how to play against pyramid head,
asides from running a full loudout on Cheryl as I had a lot of bloodpoints saved I’m not going to go easy but I also never bm

I love all these comments. Good stuff from everyone. One thing I was thinking about this morning was why not have match making go off the Survivor/Killer rank for the character you currently pick. Not the overall rank of your account. Examples of why I feel this way. Survivor or Killer main who has over 2000 hours, then takes say a year off. Most Meta perks are already learned and addons are obtained. They update the game on their pc, now they are rank 20 with every meta perk and addons and huge knowledge base of the game. Same thing for 1000+ hours and a red rank player. Lets say you have played one survivor for the majority of the game, you want to try out a new survivor and you dont want to farm 1million+ blood points. Well now you are a red rank "Baby" Survivor most likely going against a re rank killer(When match making works).
I just feel there are better ways.
In the Dev post about matchmaking I do believe that having at least for killer the rank be set for each killer instead of overall is their goal
-
Tips during the game:
- Complete the middle gens first
- This applies more to swamp maps but make sure you don't waste pallets until the gen has been done in the middle (It's a good thing to follow on any map)
- If you use a pallet that turns an area near the gen into a dead zone you are obligated to complete it because you were that dumb
- Make sure you don't just run pallet to pallet
- Get totems that are near exit gates, others can be ignored until its necessary to cleanse them
- Try to understand what your team is doing, like 2 gens going in 40s roughly means all of you were on gens and no totems have been done
Don't create deadzones without completing the objectives in those areas
Don't use a pallet if you are going to be hit regardless
-
Why
-
infinite?
-
I wouldn’t get upset cause it’s a learning experience
-
Agitation, Iron Grasp, Discordance, Noed
-
As a survivor main what I consider boring is the lack of interactive chases, which involves fun mind games and I don’t find myself running to a pallet but utilizing the environment around me.
the only killer I consider boring is Spirit, because while she is “mind gaming” I’m not really interacting with her other than passively through my breathing because I’ve only faced spirits running stridor since I’ve started playing.
So I would not say boring because they are hard to bully but instead because of the level of interactions in chases beyond me as a survivor simply running pallet to pallet with no attempt at mindgaming or the lack of interaction because of a killers power that I cannot change without preemptively running a single perk to give me a better chance

I think you are over exaggerating tbh
You'll see that a lot with some of the responses
OP: I think its just boring as Freddy is more of an endurance test cause a lot of his more commonly used addons slow the gen speed down.
Don't really hate Freddy mains cause its just a game
-
Unbreakable: One time use
Dead Hard: One time use in a chase, unless you lose them for 40+ seconds
Adrenaline: Only activated when all 5 gens are done
Perhaps make more survivor perks useful and you won't see the same most effective perks against many killer tactics
-
I would say the nerf isn't needed but a quality of life change.
Give an actual cue that she is using her power, that's the only change I would want despite hating stridor with a passion.
-
So when he goes to shock sometimes they are anticipating you camping the pallet or continuing predictable pathing so they can cut you off with the slowdown.
Generally you use unique pathing to cycle through loops to avoid any shock therapy.
Don't camp pallets please that's what they want
-
I think it looks kinda cute but that’s just me
-
The Mori allows you to remove them from the game much faster than hooking them up to an additional two times.
It is not demanding that you tunnel to immediately use it, however after you have hooked someone they are able to be mori’d (killed).
Its just up to you on how you want to use it you aren’t forced to do one specific playstyle
