I don't think it needs a change, I personally just keep an eye out for it and it makes it more fun when the killer still has it at the endgame. However, some totems in the new Lery's are so disguised I would need a perk or map to find them spot on.

Which still isn't toxic. It's not against any rules other than the imaginary survivor rules for killers.
It is toxic, I don't want to bleed out when there is no one else to pick me up. When everyone is on the ground bleeding out there is literally no more pressure to be applied. I would understand if some dick is crawling to the edge of the map where there are no hooks cause that's just irritating, but when there is a hook nearby and the killer is refusing to hook me even though I'm crawling towards it is toxicity.
What else would it be? I clearly would want the match to end, there is no excuse such as "applying pressure", and I'm not being a dick and crawling to the edge of the map to try and hold the game hostage by refusing to get hooked.
Stuff like that just breeds the exact behavior that killers complain about.
*Tunnels straight off the hook* *Runs into DS* *Complains about it and calls the survivor braindead for having a "crutch" perk*
Lets not forget about the killers rulebook for survivors.
If you run DS, BT, Sprint Burst, DH, Adrenaline, Unbreakable that's toxic and you are braindead for running crutch perks you no skill loser.
If you loop me and then pallet drop that's toxic.
If you don't run into my arms 10 seconds after the match starts, you are an immersive simp.
I reserve the right to complete happiness and if you go for unhooks that's toxicity.
You are toxic for playing the game and doing generators. (Most Important rule)

anything a killer does to even the odds is "toxic"
flashlight spamming and teabagging aren't toxic though because survivors do it
Specifically, the killer leaves everyone on the ground and lets them all bleed out. It isn't a pressure tactic as they haven't hooked anyone. Stop being on a high horse and try to understand what OP is saying.

Some Killers will Tunnel to get one survivor out the game fast to keep gen speeds down.
The ironic thing is that while tunneling is a legit strat for killers, they always complain about DS which comes from them going after that person. Majority of my games that involve someone with DS, the killer complains about it being a "second chance" crutch. I just wish survivors would not freak out over tunneling and killers would not freak out over perks that are used in a way to make tunneling harder. This is all in reference to the killer just gunning for the just unhooked survivor ignoring everything else in his way. Call it tunneling or targeting, just stop complaining when you run into DS as its very annoying. Again I don't think someone should be able to work on a gen while DS is active but my post is just referring to the large amount of games I see personally that go that way.
-
I mean I only run DS if I feel like the killer goes straight for me after I get unhooked ignoring everyone else. I have developed an immunity against killers calling me braindead scum for using it in the endgame chat but hey, you reap what you sow.
-
You cant stop me from wanting to leave a match, in any case there is already a penalty which is pip's/ or for me the rank update error.
-
DC'd due to a bubba slugging everyone and letting them bleed out, fun penalty allowed me to chill and think of some new builds.
-
Go for the unhooker and ds never pops, better yet just whack the unhooked and slug to chase the other guy so it’s only one person working on the objective unless they have unbreakable in which case you got that out of them early
-
I had a teammate let my friend and I die because we didn’t save them from the hook. The reason for that was because the killer was in between us and the hook while the other player was on their way. Unfortunately her pettiness cost us the game.
-
Its funny when someone brings noed and then complains about adrenaline or another meta perk after the game

They had the DC penalty live around Christmas. They lost none of their playerbase. Yet another false claim about DC penalties.
Besides, if you do manage to make someone DC now, you earned that. You really had to frustrate them to make them DC and take the timeout. That just makes any DC all that much sweeter.
You do need to consider that everyone knew that was a test for a predefined timeframe..
As for your second point, personally I don't like it because it fails to distinguish a player disconnecting from an actual toxic game compared to someone ragequitting. I played several games today and I was tunneled immediately at 5 gens off my first hook. Not running DS cause I don't want to rely on it, and there is literally nothing I can do when I'm just trying to get wglf stacks. What should I have done as the killer was literally just going straight for me despite going to the other side of the map and immediately coming back and ignore the person who unhooked. I would dc penalty or not as that's just not fun and frankly a lot of killers enjoy doing that which says a lot about the state of the game.
-
If I'm being tunneled mercilessly immediately after unhook then the DC penalties won't make me stay in the game, that's the issue I have with it. There is no discernable way for killers and survivors to get out of a game that is toxic.
-
I think the suicide option on hook is a good way to go
-
It’s rapidly sinking when I can’t even play and I get no support from their support.
-
Using one game as an example hardly provides any context. You don’t go into much detail besides the statement that they were red rank survivors. You don’t say what killer you are using, what perks, what the survivors were running. It’s hard to make a vague statement that gen speeds are fine and then provide almost no information to lead people to the conclusion you embrace.
-
Just had a game where a survivor didn't see what was toxic about spamming fast vault jumps to get me to stop pressuring gens. Thankfully though when she tried to go for a flashlight save, lightborn comes in to say hello.

I'm a rank 1 killer and survivor and i play often Clown against red ranks survivor. Brutal Strenght, Enduring, Play with your Food, Save the Best for Last or Thrilling Tremors, Pop, Save the Best for Last and Sloppy Butcher
I get 4k with mid-high difficulty. So i guess Ruin is not mandatory after all...maybe only trash killer always used Ruin because they can't end chase very quickly and they were sooo bad at the game?
If Old Ruin is really mandatory why Killers can get often 4k in red ranks without Ruin after the nerf?
Maybe the problem is and ever will be SWF? Maybe the majority of the killer's community is a bunch of weaklings? Or Red Ranks Survivor are truly average or below average to a good killer and they only capable to wins with a premade team?
Your way is the highway I suppose. Not everyone has your "build" or "skill". As it was mentioned before, for killers that required some setup ruin was good for preventing the loss of a gen or two within a minute.
-
Nice just apply pressure on everyone using Clown and magically you won't get gen rushed.

Sounds a lot like what many red rank survivors go through every single day. You get dodged because you happen to be good.
You get dodged because a green rank killer wants to play against people somewhat equal in skill rather than get continuously outplayed.

Yep, you were definitely the more toxic one.
/s
Cause I should have let them all go xD The person who said that was the last one who kept trying to bait me with sprint burst. She didn't know that agitation handled that well l0l

More original sports related cosmetics for meg, instead of the reskin's.

Why is it every update causes the same error that was fixed by a previous update. I.e. The Rank update error.
-
I don't usually say anything, if I do its something along the lines of gg as well.
-
I don't find "legit tactics" like Tunneling and Facecamping fun. The rush I get from successfully mindgaming a survivor and DS??? BT?? What are those lol, however that endgame chat should result in some punishment being issued. However, I have seen just as much toxicity from Killers as I have from survivors.

Slugging is not toxic and there is no room to complain about slugging when there are anti-slug perks that are easy to use.
Yeah like unbreakable or no mither

What about if they are making you bleed out? is that toxic? Genuinely curious.
I think if they can’t find you then it’s not toxic. However when you bleed out you lose points, they lose points. I think if they clearly see you and just let you bleed out depending on the situation it’s toxic. However if the survivors sabo’d every hook then obviously that’s the counterplay

I agree with 1 and 2. That's why I was open to ideas about how many "phases" the window could go through.
Still on the fence on 3, only because I feel like allowing multiple vaults while only making fast vaults count already seems strong enough IMO.
What I was thinking was perhaps it could have a respawn timer at 3 minutes like hooks that are sabotaged.

This would be awesome!

Hi guys,
So I have mained survivor for a majority of my time spent on dbd. Recently I have been playing killer which despite the longer queue times at rank 18 is still enjoyable for the most part. The games I have not enjoyed have happened when I was ranked against swf around ranks 3-9. As a rank 4 survivor I believe I have a solid understanding of what to do but by no means is that perfect. This also doesn’t translate over to my performance as killer. I really feel like being able to see the ranks at the end of game helps me understand how the survivors played and allows me to reflect on what I could do in the future.
This is just my experience yesterday and today and my thought on it.
