they are supposed to be easy to find. survivors using the fountains gives you your power.
-
killers like hag encourage scummy gameplay. 10 traps at a hook that are impossible to avoid. clown is impossible to loop. you cant do gens if you are going against a freddy. people like killers like myers cuz you can pull pretty much anything off on him
-
as soon as i got to red ranks i was only getting facecamping bubbas & sweatbag spirits. not to mention the amount of dcs. i really miss purple ranks but i wanna push to rank 1
-
i got the hatch and the killer trash talked me for finding it
-
iron will or spine chill. 50% isnt that much and spine chill could give you some nice vaulting speed
-
freddy and hag are like on par for me.

I love the Lightweight, Distortion, Small Game, Leader changes, maybe some with higher numbers, but;
- Autodidact needs a guarantee, a percentage increase is still RNG dependent which shouldn't be. Maybe a gurantee skillcheck at midway point each heal, once per heal.
- Mettle of Man would be overpowered like that. You can consistently get 1-3 extra health states a game with an unhooking build.
- That's how Flip Flop already works?
- Lets not have any perks that removes sound when on the ground. It's not overpowered or anything but reaaally annoying as the killer.
- Open Handed is already going to get that buff.
- That Poised buff wouldn't do much at all to be honest, maybe also add removing injured sounds and blood pools like a couple other perks.
- That Slippery Meat is overpowered, speed bonuses are very strong and should never be given that freely.
- Camaradie change doesn't really buff the perk. It's fine though, it's used a lot in tournaments.
- Sole Survivors problem is that it relies on losing in a way, I would say it needs a whole rework.
- Solidarity change wouldn't do much. If you are healing alone it would still require 2 people and if you are healing with a third person you would need 3 people instead of 4. Main thing this perk needs is an indicator on nearby survivors like We'll Make It.
- A good way to touch No Mither is to make it so the killer doesn't see you are broken and you start the game healthy.
- That Vigil is basically old exhaustion, waay too overpowered. Vigil is fine as is, the problem is how unpunishing most status effects are.
I'm indifferent about the Deja Vu and Wake Up changes, those speed bonuses are always a dangerous territory so I would have to see it to judge it. Also the Stake Out change is okay but I think its good as is, it's a perk that speeds up every action basically.
Flip flop gives you 50% of your recovery. the buffed one would give you all of it but it would still be capped at 50% just so you might be able to get some value out of it. i can see mettle being overpowered like that but maybe a more "balanced" way to buff it is by making it only require 2 protection hits. and now that i think about it, vigil would be pretty overpowered like that. also when i said that tenacity should muffle grunts of pain in the dying state i meant to reduce the grunts of pain by like 50 or 75% and make it harder to track the survivor on the ground

Who will buy DLCs if all perks r good?
most of these perks still arent on par with the meta. theyre just good enough to be worth a perk slot
-
its so frustrating not being able to catch a survivor just because of one loop. and dont get me started if they have balanced landing
-
tutorial should be forced upon new players. im sick and tired of getting matched with baby megs that ######### up every other skill check.
i think a big licensed chapter would be able to do the job
-
if you get a map like the game or any other indoor map for that matter, im sorry to say this but youre screwed
-
you wont get matched with console players so often, you can see your playtime hours, steam has some cool features. idk if there is a difference in performance though

mostly swf. a random won't dc for you.
ive always played solo queue
-
man i thought dbd was dying
-
wait people do that?
-
a nice solution to this would be that if the egc timer reaches under 50 or 25% the survivor with the trap gets the ability to open the hatch

I wouldn't go there. One day someone's gonna call you Sluzzy just because they disagree with your opinion, and everyone's gonna bandwagon against you. That is if you actually formulate your own opinions instead of going around everyone's posts saying "wrong", "lol", "okay".
theres just so many posts complaining about something that i cant take them seriously anymore

Ahh, remember when this chapter was released with no PTB and out of nowhere, good times. Anyways after the MOM nerf this paragraph has nothing else to offer, all 3 perks are outclassed and current MOM takes way too much work to trigger (which is understandable) not sure why it still has the downside, no point really.
I don’t see a point for new players to even purchase this chapter, unless you like Ash as a character but other than that, it has nothing to offer.
I hope the Devs will revisit Ash and Quentin’s Perks. I think they are by far the least used characters (From what I have seen) at least give them 1 useful perk.
i like ash as a survivor. his perks are kinda trash ever since mettle of man was nerfed to the ground.
-
man theses short names for perks gave me a headache. but i think you should replace self care+botany knowledge with inner strength (if you have it), and use the other perk slot for ds. seriosuly ds is such a good perk when you get camped at the endgame
-
i main myers and i cant believe how accurate that description was.
-
in short, survivors will try harder for more bp and make the game more intense
-
it depends on the match. sometimes youll get the best matches of your life, and sometimes youll want to rip your scalp off

Im sorry if you like this game, but its literally the same thing every match. Its not fun. There is no mind games. Its just boring slosh of pallets, and loops. Not to mention the same perks survivors use day in and day out. How can anyone really find it fun? Thats a serious question. How can anyone find dbd fun in its current state? Killers are constantly underpowered. Soon as we get something great we just get it nerfed. Maps are becoming more and more survivor sided. Im sorry but with all those pallets and then deadhard to another pallet, its just...why?
im not tryna bully you with this or insult you but this is what i think of your opinion: everyone runs meta perks at red ranks cuz the devs dont bother trying to make other perks viable. there are mindgames for lets say at jungle gyms, pallet gyms or unsafe pallets. killers arent really underpowered, i know the new killer (trickster) isnt really that strong but next chapter is probably going to be better.
-
the hatch aint the problem its the players. hatch is supposed to give the last survivor a small chance of survival. i say small because 70% of the time you aint getting the hatch as a survivor.
-
sluzzy 2.0
-
its hard to tell. the shrine giving us ######### perks could either be the devs not wanting to give us meta perks or the rng being terrible. the shrine giving us good perks could either mean that the devs feel generous or that we got lucky.
-
i often dont know if i have a certain perk on my character so it would be a good feature. for everyone that says that its in alphabetical order, im not going to sing the alphabet just to find a perk on my guy

If the wiki is correct, DS was in the shrine in December 2019 and returned in Febuary 2021. So it took one year and two months, not two years for DS to be back in the shrine.
i heard that it was in april 2019.
-
i like the new atmosphere of the map. seems a lot more colorful but not cartoonish at the same time. in terms of gameplay i dont like the fact that every pallet is safe. you cant really get any loops out of unsafe ones but at least you can secure a bit of distance.
-
the jrm and yerv are some pretty good streamers
-
as much as i love my boy mikie (no homo), i do think that his power is a bit too basic. most of his addons dont give him a fair advantage, they either make him too strong or just make it so he doesnt suffer from his weaknesses. i feel like all they need to do is rework 75% of his addons and maybe make some of them built in (except for the tombstone ones)

How is Bubba and Pig not fun to go against? You actually get to loop and play the game.
All I get are Spirits, Freddy's, Nurses and the occasional Huntress. They're all miserable.
i think bubba is fun to go against unless he camps you. pig is scary+boring to go against at the same time. scary cuz she has the best stealth in the game and boring cuz once you get one of her hats youll most likely get last boxed and die to rng

I started to play in October 2020, I don't own Laurie and I have DS. It was on the shrine a few weeks ago.
I couldn't have it if it was two years ago last time.
i started playing in october 2020 too. i got the halloween dlc just before ds came to the shrine and you dont want to know how mentally painful that feeling is.
btw, when i said it was in the shrine 2 years ago i meant 2 years ago before it came to the shrine
-
im down for that but im worried that bhvr is just going to make some cringy russian stereotypes

survivor: david or ash (but its slightly leaning towards david)
killer: legion (i like them as a concept)

The Shrine is random every week, excluding new perks for a set time (I don't remember it). If a perk goes into the Shrine it is then restricted from reappearing in the Shrine for at least 3 weeks, after which it is in the pool for randomly appearing again.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2041542#Comment_2041542
Decisive Strike was just in the Shrine, and Inner Strength is in the Shrine right now, so this argument is invalid
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2041570#Comment_2041570
Surge was in the Shrine 2 weeks ago, so it's still restricted from showing again for another week at least, then you have to wait for RNG
inner strength aint meta, and decisive strike hasnt been the shrine for 2 years.

Thats a server/latency issue.
Think about all the times DH does work. Thats why its so powerful
youre kinda right. not tryna bully you with this but heres a tip:
if someone dead hards once, the next time try to bait it and make them waste it. gets them every time
-
He's also stating how the game is terrible and only money hungry streamers play it and doesnt acknowledge that there are people who genuinely enjoy the game. my reply wasnt "git gud", i was trying to explain to him the other side's pov. take solo queue as an example. yes, there are mechanics that swf squads tend to abuse but we all know bhvr aint gonna fix them
-
solo queue is trash
-
noed isnt that powerful, it just feels like it is. doing so much and having a great time till noed shows up is an awful feeling
-
the problem isnt the game, its you. maining one side makes you think that the other has it way better than you. also, dont expect a 4k every game. a 3k or even a 2k is something you should be satisfied with. either man-up and play the game as it is or leave it.

@Dizzy1096 said:
It’s a third health state, it hard counters pretty much every killer power, it makes mindgames at loops worthless since if you close distance the survivor can gain that distance back at the press of a button....it’s one of if not the strongest perks in the game.
Thats why consistently now every rank 1 survivor I see runs this perk. Every single one of them thats a good runner has this perk. What does that tell you?
It needs a nerf and stat. It’s insanely overpowered.
*exhausted on the ground*
-
pros: more variety, will make deciding which perks you want to use in your build less stressful
cons: it will expand the meta, will encourage small pp builds
-
the perk is meta + its from a licensed character so obviously theyre not just gonna give it away.

Dude, finding a totem, cleanse it, find a locker, wait in locker, it's almost 32 seconds I guess.
i usually find a totem when i spawn and i often find them naturally throughout the match
-
i see your point. her power promotes staying injured 24/7 and the vomit is pretty accurate, like you can just 360 and you are guaranteed to hit someone. she definitely isnt the least skill dependent killer but she is in the top 5
