  • I will play killer only until they change something again. You can literally do mistake after mistake and still win if you play with strong perks.

And no, this isn't the same as survivor before the patch. If you ######### up as surv before the patch and you go down next to 99 Gen or the hooked surv, you probably killed your team.

If something is very easy to play it shouldn't be strong

    like holding m1 on generators?

if your going to use that logic, better apply it to both sides.

forever builds require you to be good at the chasing skill to keep the injured pressure up.

So you really think it takes skill to get m2 hits with legions power? There is literally no counterplay (you can't count on your teammates running away so he can't reach you) if you're not too dumb to get stunned. Getting downs takes longer but since survivors will mostly give up after 10 minutes because doing gens takes forever, it's an easy 4k. Haven't lost a single game with him in the few I've tried since the update. I will only killer (ez mode) until they change something.

Off the record. Nothing else really matters at the moment, it will take time to figure it out, but realistically, they did a pretty good job of shaking up the meta... Besides off the record. I mean, I guess it is technically new, but why they thought that would be balanced?

It's not balanced you're right, much easier for the killer than old DH DS combo. I haven't lost a single game as killer since the update and off the record didn't make a big difference in my chases cause they don't gain that much distance. Maybe harder for Bubba cause he can't just saw through the dead hard like before.

    "Many killers did fine before."

If you want to define Many as Nurse and Blight then sure - those two killers did fine but they are insanely more powerful than the rest of the killer cast.

"The game was never heavily survivor sided"

You want to check your facts? Let's take a poll from all of the largest big name DBD streamers who play both killer and Survivor well. Know what they will ALL tell you? DBD is survivor sided and always has been (/insert astronaut meme here). I'm guessing you didn't play in 2016 when there were infinite loops? Did you know that there are old clips on youtube where killers were chasing a sole survivor around the cow tree for 5-20 minutes?

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3073361#Comment_3073361

Before today survivor skill was based on how well your SWF communicated information, how well you could loop pallets and how much time you could get in a chase by using DH to make it to a new pallet.

Some people play solo so they can't use SWF info. Some people never learned how to "read" how to gain frames on a killer during chase. Some people only knew how to press "E" to make chases take 20-60 extra seconds when they made a mistake.

I had a lot of games today that were 4k but I had one game that was a 1k. To be fair it was the most unfair map in the game and the spawns were all separated which is the literal worst case scenario. Also they were a very efficient SWF team.

There is actually a good otzdarva video how this game isn't survivor sided. In his opinion it favors the side who brings the most OP stuff to the trial and then is sweating the most. This can be killers too if they bring their best add-ons plus a map offering with 4 good perks. I mostly played spirit before the update, only yellow and brown add ons but I won nearly every game because I was good and tryharded, because mmr didn't work sometimes and because I brought 4 meta perks to every trial.

2016 is long gone. No one can chase around cow tree that long anymore. Dead hard was annoying that's true, but it was the only thing which balanced nurse or blight. Most of the time the additional window or pallet didn't led to another 60 sec of chase. At least not if the survivors are as skillless as everyone is saying right now. It was strong in the hands of good survivors but did almost nothing for bad ones

Seems to me you were carried by dead hard, and now you need to adjust and get good.

I don’t see any problem with holding W from pallets to pallets, that’s how good survivors play. Pre dropping is necessary against some killers. And yes, you should not be able to win a chase against a good killer, the game is balanced so the killer can catch you at some point. It’s 1vs4, not 1vs1. You should not feel safe. I know survivor was chill for so long, I am still playing it while watching movies or listening to music but now you need a little bit of skill too.

Complete BS. I have 3500 hours and I played a lot of survivor and yeah it was more chill than killer because of downtimes but it wasn't an easy win. Maybe against 200h killers who don't know what they're doing.

Holding w is unfun for every killer, trust me once you get used to new sprintburst pre-leave meta you will agree. Not saying it's stronger than DH. I rarely played DH, I switch it up because I have to be good with every exhaustion perk but I mostly played lithe or balanced.

Killers of my skill level catched me before easily if they outplayed me.

I'm pretty sure with 2 minutes chases and 20 minutes games and survivors still can't finish gen, that's called skill issue.

Bloodlust is nowhere near training wheel, it's meant to fix map issues somehow BHVR can not deal with.

I'm pretty sure that's called solo q and obnoxious holding m1 mechanics which get fueled by perks like jolt, thana, pain res or DMS.

Bloodlust is an completely unnecessary mechanic. If you need that than you're doing something wrong. You're not supposed to chase more than 45 seconds and if the survivor is in a good position you leave. That was the killer gameplay before and it was fine because it involved macro management and strategy. Now you can just follow mindlessly because you have so much time.

Are we honestly complaining about legion, a bottom tier killer? I'm not getting any 20 minute games, most end at 4 gens. Thana buff was 2%, get over it. Post patch legion with 4 slowdowns is worse than pre patch legion with 4. Legion is easy af to beat and the fad will pass when survivors git gud and learn how to beat it.

Yes we are. Maybe play against an actually good Legion and see how good macro strategies destroy every solo team. Most people just give up because holding m1 forever with thana plus 10 sec more gen time, only to let the gen get jolted and then pain res'ed, is very overwhelming. Not saying it's impossible to win but it's the complete opposite of fun to have 20 minutes full of holding m1 without any feeling of progress.

  • @Murgleïs said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3073358#Comment_3073358

Nop, back in the day, you did not have coh. Also, you can stop healing and learn how to loop a legion, a killer with no antiloop.

You realize killers do everything faster now, strong survivor perks got butchered and speed boost after hit got nerfed? Also the new perks like OTR favour a holding w playstyle, so there is no chase.

The game was balanced before, the only thing that was wrong was dead hard. Giving the killer infinite time to chase makes it unwinnable against killers who actually know what they're doing. "just learn to loop" or "just heal" is the new "just patrol gens" or "just do bones". Maybe the killer mains who complained before are the ones who need to learn how to loop, not just to run mindlessly behind survivors

  • @Dead_Harder said:

Game went from 2nd chance perk fest to skill based you mean <3

Sry but if killers need 20 minutes games and 2 minutes chases every time to get a 4k then this is not skill. Many killers did fine before. Either give us strong anti camp and tunnel mechanics so the killer is FORCED to go for 12 hooks or revert some of the changes, especially the training wheels like bloodlust or the forever m1 perks

  • We have the same situation as with freddy back then, forever builds are back. And they take no skill, it's straight facts. If something is very easy to play it shouldn't be strong, that's a fact from any game balance and everyone with experience will agree

You just proved me right in two ways, thanks for that. First off 3.5k hours is nothing for a tourny player, secondly they mainly play custom matches not public so again I don't believe you.

First off there are many tourneys not only the big ones with teams like eternal, secondly I scrim at least 2 times a week but I play dbd every day so I play pubs a lot. I'm also not a full time comp player or something, I just played in 3 tourneys so far and I don't know If I keep on playing. I can send you footage per pm if you want, but not in a public forum.

I don't believe any of your killer experience is true, not even in the slightest. Based on what you complain about and how you go about doing it I'm going to say you are a 95% survivor main 5% occasional daily ritual killer player. It's fine if you dislike something but don't assert yourself as some kind of experienced expert when you know full well that you aren't.

maybe don't judge people you don't know. I can send you twitch footage of me playing killer in a tournament if you want. Yes i have 3,5k h and that's probably part of me winning most of my killer games but i haven't won this hard before the patch. MMR may be all over the place right now, let's see, but from my survivor experience i have to say that killers have to play it very wrong to really lose a game.

  • @SirBenley10 said:

I feel this update gave killers things they could of otherwise gained by putting time and effort into the game. (Skill) I don't really care about the nerfs to Survivor perks (with the exception of Iron Will) and I'm a Survivor main. Killers could still get 4ks against me and my team all day long. Not enjoying this update.

i think the Iron Will nerf is alright because this perk was stronger than many people realize (entitled Spirit main speaking), but besides that i think they only needed to nerf DH and maybe DS (but one second less stun would be enough).

Imho the biggest problem is the Bloodlust buff. Now killers who can't mindgame and just chase mindlessly get easy downs because it's impossible to loop for longer. They should just delete this mechanic or cap it at level 1. It's training wheels for bad killers.

They did a good job with the 2% gen kick regression (finally kicking is worth it) and the smoother gameplay thanks to lesser stuns and cooldowns. The rest is just training wheels mechanics. Making survs hold M1 for longer and bringing back "forever" builds wasn't the right direction. They should have just invented something for the late game to give the killer more time before the gates are opening.

  • @Ink_Eyes said:

All I see on the forums today are killer players laughing and saying: ''I can easily 4k every match using wraith and playing with one hand'' maybe SWF squads are fine but this was a nerf that impacted solo queue the hardest...

i played one game of wraith with overcharge + eruption + pop + shadow dance and they couldn't even finish a single gen. Sure MMR is all over the place right now because of so many players trying out the changes but yeah... guess killer is the easy role now

  • Never use stridor its unnecessary. Get used to tracking without it or the dumb instinct add ons.

I use corrupt (still good for tougher games with longer first chase) for sure. The rest depends on your playstyle.

Thana + sloppy if you split pressure, thana is alright in nearly every build.

Jolt + pain resonance is a great combination.

Overcharge + Pop or eruption if you play more territorial.

If you need tracking, BBQ still does the job to get you into next chase quickly, or floods of rage.

Lethal is a nice quality of life perk.

I played her with brutal strength and save the best for last yesterday and I felt like on crack, it was fun. Everything is so fast and survivors are completely overwhelmed. Endurance meta gives you stacks quickly.

  • @emetSdidnothingwrong said:

It truly is amazing how many people said survivor meta wasn't unfair or a crutch but just look at everyone on these forums complaining about how OP killers are now and how they are constantly dying. Guess what homie, maybe killer isn't to good maybe you just had no business in the MMR you were carried to by extremely busted perk combos. Game isn't balanced around you having 4 hook states and 3 health states while also making no sounds at all.

So you're telling me that it's fine that every killer who crossed a certain threshold of skill is now just winning every game? My games as killer were so easy that I stopped after 4 games because I felt bad. They couldn't even do something.

BTW I won most of my matches before the patch when I tryharded. Doesn't matter which killer. Yeah there are strong swfs but those are rare. This patch was for the baby killers who cried on the forums every day. They just needed to nerf Dead Hard and maybe DS and that would be fine. If you can't win then you don't deserve to win, go practice!

Buffing killers is nerfing tunneling and camping imo. Those are pretty boring tactics and when i feel like i dont need them i dont use them at all.

I havent felt the need to camp or tunnel at all since the patch and i feel like im not the only one.

the problem is you can't assume everyone plays nice. Tunneling and proxy camping is still strong. Off the record didn't do a thing against me, especially with me playing STBFL. The "survivor rulebook" was a ridiculous thing that shouldn't have existed in the first place (i mean the generel agreement that camping and tunneling is "forbidden"), but it held the game together. Then killers had to abandon it thanks to MMR and Boons and it became clear how strong tunneling is. They should have invented something to make tunneling and camping not worth for the killer (and not a band-aid fix aka another perk) but also something to give them other forms of pressure.

  • @Vetrathene said:

So wait, your saying the killer is the power role now and the survivors actually have to try and struggle to escape? Like...kind of the feeling the game is supposed to have. Weird. Better uninstall now that they are finally finding the right tuning because my DH got nerfed. Oh wait, I never used DH.

what most killer mains understand under "power role" is simply to win every game with a snap of their fingers. They want to be feared just because they exist, not because they're good. What game is this where one role basically wins every game without needing any skill or knowledge? Killer pre-patch needed skill and that's fine and good. It was an interesting role because it needed strategy and tactics. Now it needs none of these. Most of the people complaining how hard and unfair killer is weren't even good killers to begin with. Yes, the same goes for a lot of survivors. But better Bloodlust, great gen control and a general faster and smoother gameplay makes sure that the killer has always the upper hand without having to do much for it.

  • @Crowman said:

The update is a few hours old and survivors to an extent have to relearn the game (which favors killers) since all their strong meta perks got nerfed. People are literally overreacting over an updating intended on boosting killer kill rates is doing just that.

it feels like more than boosting and i personally haven't seen killers doing that bad before the patch. I died fairly often (i play solo mostly) and had 4k's mostly. Only my personal experience though.

But yea let's just see how it developes in the next days and weeks

  • @YOURFRIEND said:

All that stuff you're talking about has counters. Thana? Heal. With circle and new botany you can even pull it off vs legion and be efficient. Jolt? Hop in a locker when you're about to go down. Good survivors do this to me all the time and it's infuriating. Overcharge? It's a bad perk. If you touch the gen within 14? 15? Seconds then it's not any more than base regression which is nothing. Pain res? Sabo let's you see scourge hooks now. Run it.

I'm super sorry that your might have to figure out new stuff to run besides dead hard, iron will, DS and unbreakable every game now. Change is hard.

i never ran those perks (at least not DH) and those things you mentioned are not good and efficient counters (eg let's just heal endlessly against a Legion who uses his power once per minute)

  • @Mozic said:

The new meta is still only predictive at this stage - we won't know what is going to be routine for at least a few weeks as people experiment & settle into what builds they find more enjoyable to use.

Similarly, the rulebook for how to survive just went out the window with all of the changes. Survivors will likely perform worse as they discover they can't rely on pre-patch techs, but start to recover some of that as they experiment & find new methods to survive.

i really hope that's the reason

  • @[Deleted User] said:

Instead of this, try learning her and get back to us. Put a few hundred hours into her and try playing her against good players.

against the best of the best you surely need to be a very good Nurse, but even my 50 hours Nurse stomped most teams in public lobbies. Once you have the basic timings down you will hit a lot of blinks, and most survivors don't know how to abuse trees or rock tiles and just try to double back everytime

  • i honestly think they did go overboard with the survivor nerfs. Playing solo was already horrible enough and i died more than i escaped. I never had big problems as killer when the match was "even", i mean when no side brought something to the trial that gave them a big advantage. I recently had a 15 games win streak with Spirit.

  • For me it's the opposite. When i play surv it's mostly solo and that is just horrible to play sometimes, especially against better killers who know how to play killer.

But killer? i nearly always have a good time. Sure, there are those matches were everything is in survivors favour, they bring the best possible loadout and have good setups on a good map. But most of my killer games i win or have at least 7-8 hook stages. Tunneling and proxy-camping helps a lot, only well-coordinated teams can deal with that. Most survivors refuse to learn how to deal with that and complain about it. But yeah honestly tunneling feels rather strong and the only time it doesn't work for me is when they have DS+DH or a god loopers.

  • @KateMain86 said:

Was a new meta the reason behind the changes or is a new meta just the inevitable outcome of any change in this game? I thought the changes were to encourage more playstyles rather than relying on a single loadout or perk(s) to give you the best possible outcome every time?

the meta has become really stale at high mmr, 4 dead hards and 2-4 DS/ Boons has been normal for me as a killer. On the other side, tunneling has become the absolute meta playstyle for killers at high mmr, i had to do it to win matches and when i play survivor i got tunneled out so often. That's why i played with DS everytime. So yeah, meta was stale and needed a change because those perks just address basic issues the game has.

  • Overcharge is way too strong. Off the record will hurt weak killers but will do nothing against the good killers like Blight Nurse Spirit

  • You could give killer mains a perk that regresses a gen back to 0 by just looking at it and they would say "it's fine" or "look at what survivors have". Please play both roles and gain some objectivity. Yes, you can tap the gen but every strong killer will proxy camp that gen if it was like 99 and is crucial, and then just kick it again if needed, not to mention the information you gain from the skillcheck (if possibly missed, which can happen when the killer is around but you need to desperately save the gen). with 400% it's even worth just waiting for the regression...

Overcharge needs a tone down or at least a cooldown. There is no need for perks like CoB anymore. Not to mention the new Thana or Jolt which are strong perks now as well.

  • i also only escaped 1 out of 5 games tonight. for me it feels like kill rates are generally too high, i don't get why they want them even higher? MMR could maybe the reason here as the amount of hours on killer and survivors was quite different tonight.

When i play killer i usually have a good time except the few games were all odds were against me (surv sided map + swf with good perks and items + they're sweating). I play ruthless whenever i have to (tunneling and proxy camping) so i win most of my games.

  • i usually 4k with him. He is easy to play and most solo and mediocre teams have big problems being injured all the time. Also mending (and healing if they chose to) consistently is very unnerving for survivors. Especially if you play him with the best perks. You can even get 1-shot hits on smaller maps if survivors don't know how to play against him (which they usually don't), for example if they mend during your power. From the M1 killer pool he is imho one of the best. Once you got a hook, you have lots of pressure if you played him right, because everyone will be injured, they need to heal up to go for the save and leave gens therefore. Or they risk getting snowballed...

The problem is that most legions i've seen so far were very bad. They don't use his power often enough and when they do, they get needlessly stunned out of it. Or they use it with no one being around.

  • One of the problems is that killer mains usually spend more time crafting their skills and learning things and dbd theory, otherwise you get bullied a lot and have a very stressful time. On the contrary, i see a lot more weak survivors in higher MMR who get carried by items, offerings, perks and of course their SWF. Killer mains usually know more about running loops than the average survivor.

I spent much more time with learning killer gameplay before i even started getting good as a survivor, because it just wasn't necessary until i started comp.

If your average solo survivor would know how to play and which are the most efficient strategies, even a decent killer would struggle on the more surv-sided maps.

  • i think CoH is fine now. Healing speed is relatively slow, slower than going to the nearest survivor and let you heal. It's also not played that much anymore.

DH - yea i hate it too but keep in mind that survivors will use any other exhaustion perk then. Have you played against 4 good survivors with Sprintburst yet? Even just starting chases will be hell. Some killers like Wraith won't struggle much anymore but others like the 110% ones will have a hard time with the holding W meta.

I personally find solo Q to be much more frustrating than killer. I barely get bullied to the point i feel helpless, at worst i get genrushed by a split-up-squad with 4x DS and 4x DH. Survivor on the other side, half of my matches i either get tunneled or camped or my team just messes up so hard that i just want to quit this game...

  • @Viskod said:

As a killer I don't have a problem with Borrowed Time, Decisive Strike, Dead Hard, or Unbreakable.

I think Borrowed Time is pretty much a necessity and should just be a normal mechanic that you can't be immediately downed again right off a hook.

Decisive Strike is fine with me because most people that take it want to use it and will deliberately run around doing nothing for a minute trying to trick you into grabbing them from a locker or picking them up again.

If I leave someone on the ground long enough for Unbreakable to to be used, then good for them. That's the point of the perk.

I think everything about Dead Hard is overblown. Too many survivors think of it as their mandatory saving grace when they have no ######### clue how to use it and any one of a number of other perks would be far more useful to them than Dead Hard.

DH is by far the best perk for survivors right now and no, don't tell me "it's easy to bait", it's not baitable if used correctly. If you only play against 2k+ hours players like me when i play my mains then you're gonna see how powerful it is if it gives you another loop. It's so frustrating if you play M1 killers and mindgame someone only to get deadharded to the window or pallet....

  • You will see "slugging the 3rd" much more often in future. Everyone wants their 4 stacks of BBQ and some want to give hatch. Some just want to mori a specific character or player.

  • I don't really care about paying some bucks every 3 months for 2 new characters, but the BP grind has reached a level were it is not bearable anymore. The amount of perks is just insane, i haven't even begun leveling Yoichi and Onryu because i'm still leveling other characters, it's frustrating. And i play this game for 2.5 years nearly daily. I don't think this system is actually attractive for new players. I understand keeping players engaged with some form of grind and new content is important, but this is just frustrating because it feels like i can never actually reach a point were i'm nearly done.

So that killers can tunnel freely and remove survivors defenses.

Also so that survivors depend on looping.

no, because DS on everyone is unwinnable for the killer against a good comp team which prioritizes gens and plays tactically.

I scrimmed with rulesets were 2 DS and 2 DH were allowed per team and even this felt too much. Try not to tunnel against a team which splits up around a map, were everyone has decent amount of hours and knows how to loop. Gens will fly trust me, the best thing you can do is to tunnel someone out. Numerous comp players tested it and it is the best strategy to win. Yes its not fun for the one getting tunneled, but blame BHVR and not the players. They don't implement things to get rid or punish tunneling and therefore it will remain the best strategy to win.

  • @_AdamFrancis_ said:

Not everybody is a Swarm, or (I can't remember his name for the life of me 💀) so stop talking about the game from a comp perspective. Comp is known to be unbalanced and has egregious rules set in it, public matches don't. Not to mention matchmaking can mess up most of the time and match people with drastically different skill levels together. As such, it can make things very unbalanced.

This also means that the game is in no way comparable to competitive matches.

What? So, please explain to me why comp dbd is unbalanced? They actually play on maps which are balanced and playable for the killer, they ban perks that are unbalanced or support unhealthy playstyles, they only allow every perk once per trial (a thing that should be in dbd since ages) and the best thing they ban stupid OP items and add ons. Since i started scrimming in comp the game is actually so much more fun. I feel rewarded when i play good and see the results. Yes tunneling and camping is part of the game there, but once you started to look into it you realize there is counterplay if you play as a team.

When i play pub killer at high mmr, i see dead hard 3 OR 4 TIMES EVERY GAME, i see DS at least 2 times, i see stupid OP toolboxes and medkits that basically carry survivors. The only thing that guarantees i win some of those matches is their lack of skill, but even then, some of those matches are just unwinnable as a killer.

It's usually not even a big deal. You either know how to deal with blight. Or you don't. I faced one last weekend who tried every hug tech you could think of and couldn't land a hit.

Just another one of those killers. That you either know how to play against them. Or you don't. Because mindlessly holding W and pre drop does not work on this killer

pallets is the only thing that saves you against a good blight...

  • the problem with all your "camping is fine, just do gens and get out"-solutions:

Why the heck should anyone play this game then? If you could make the game better (balancing it out and then delete camping and tunneling), why not doing it and instead just resorting to the old bad stuff? Like who says at work "Oh i'm so happy i can play dbd tonight, doing 3 gens alone and get out/ watching someone dying on hook". Just because there is counterplay doesn't mean the game is perfectly fine and fun. One of the reasons this game lost nearly half of it's playerbase from last summer is that issues like this are not resolved. I played solo q for the first time since weeks and it's absolutely horrible. They need to change a lot of things to make it worth playing, i will stick to killer and playing kyf scrims with friends until then...

  • @Souplet said:

Tunneling is the only way to get a chance to win as a killer

Camping is the extension of tunneling (exept for toxic players but cant really do anything about this, bt ds exists for that and they are already uber powerful on nob camping killers aswell)

These are the symptoms, not the disease

Try nerfing second chances perk and make killers playable instead of them being punchbag for survivors

The game shouldnt feel more stressful as a killer than it is as a survivor. You play as a killer, not a kid with a stick

it's in the 4v1 nature, if you make the game less stressful as killer than as survivor, 80% of the playerbase will play killer. Killer will always be more stressful and i think that's alright, it's not for everyone but once you're getting good it's fun. Making it chillout is not possible without making the game completely unbalanced

  • it's already banned in a lot of comp tournaments because it synergizes with camping a lot. It's very good especially since it doesn't require you to do anything, it's just there.

  • i never understood how people think it looks better when it's just blurred out to get rid of the edges. AA is a basic option in every game that i played since the 2000s and Dbd has a strange fetish about not giving us any graphic options at all...

  • ok and i have FPS drops all over again. Please give us some more graphics options...

  • If i play my high MMR killers i'm kinda forced to play like this. Survivors will do EVERYTHING to beat me, they will abuse every of my mistakes, they won't stop doing gens just so that i have another chance. They will not gift me hooks just so that i feel better. So why should i not play optimally too? Why should i let them win?

Is it fun? No definitely not, i play both sides 50/50 and i know how both sides feel when they get destroyed. I know how it feels to get camped or tunneled straight from the beginning of the match. The new MMR system forced players to find the optimal strategies to win against other good opponents, it showed the balancing problems that Dbd still has. I would welcome balance changes which punish tunneling and camping as long as survivors top tier strategies get nerfed too.

  • i really liked that map on both sides, it was obviously a bit killer sided but you could win against many killers as survivor too. The only times i hated it was against stealth killers like Myers, GF or Wraith, but those killers are in need of good maps anyways

  • There is no counter, a good survivor with Iron Will is not gamechanging but 3 or 4 will just destroy you. The problem is, you have so many options, and people sometimes play completely random. And they can hear you and react if they hear you phasing around that wall. Footsteps and grass only works on some maps and not in every situation.

I mained her but i dropped her because she just feels frustrating nowadays. Tracking can be really hard because sounds sometimes feel off (like i'm sure i'm above them but suddenly they're 5m away). I scrimmed with her a lot against comp survs so my viewpoint may be biased, she's probably fine in your usual pub games were bots just run in straight lines to the window, but even in pub games once you reached high mmr i feel like 2 iron will (plus the usual dead hards and DS's) are just common and that's not fun. Nurse is so much more fun and feels much more rewarding for the time i put into her....

  • Spirit is overrated. The problem with her is, THEORETICALLY she can play around every loop but in practice you will face Iron Will a lot at high MMR and experienced survivor know how to juke her creatively. I only play her with yellow add ons so i don't really know about MDR/DCB add on combo, it's probably busted, but no one says Myers is S-tier because of his crazy add ons. She feels very frustrating to play right now and whenever i switch to Nurse it just feels like another class of killer.

Twins is underrated, not saying they're s-tier but some people literally think they're one of the worst 5 killers.

One caveat - locker flashlight saves are essentially impossible to avoid, given the insane angles that they allow and once you're locked into the animation you have no control.

i have over 3k hours and i rarely encountered people even trying it. There is also counterplay, its annoying but you can bait it or just go after the guy with the flashlight. Only because tru3 faced one of those crazy squads and the videos was going viral, doesn't mean it's something you see every 5th match or so

Good. You should feel sad for them. They should feel sad too. Survivor tears hydrate me. It's not banned, right? So there you have it...

How can anyone think that flashlights are toxic? Like what is even your definition of the term toxic? Flashlight saves are incredibly easy to avoid and if you're not good enough to do so, then use Lightborn. Pallet blinds can be annoying but if you're playing with headphones you should notice in which direction they're heading, it's not OP or something. There are far worse things the survivors could use than flashlights...

  • i tried a lot of new killers in the last months and my experience was good except for only a few matches. I mean the general balancing problems that Dbd has stay the same but i faced much weaker survivors with killers like Trapper, Legion or Hag (played all of them for the first time).
