  • Going in them houses is a no no 90% of the time. All the houses are strong so it best just to watch the street. overall i think map slightly better for survivor now as the 3 gen is less closer

  • i feel like u trying tell us something hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

It feels like whenever someone does something remarkable the opposition is quick to call them a tryhard, abusing a strong killer, toxic etc. I understand its an online game, and people aren't really happy to lose, but they are outright disrespectful and salty instead of keeping quiet. Commending an outplay feels like a foreign concept.

If you get slugged or lose the game at 5 gens i don't know what to tell you other than the fact that there was a massive gap in skill.Yeah the killer could have refrained a little bit,but there is no excuse to loosing a game where not even half the gens were repaired.

If you lose vs a blight/nurse/spirit etc recognize that they are playing a difficult killer,if they used their power well and ended chases quickly they are not carried by the killer, they are not abusing anything, just whipping your @.

A survivor getting a save(stun or blind) requires them to be in the right place at the right time, and not mess up the timing.

Getting stunned in a chase means losing a mindgame(however small)

Not getting a hit after engaging for more than a minute means you either made a wrong decision chasing in that area or you are just getting juiced.

Survivors getting gens done quickly means efficiency and coordination.

Getting value out of an off meta perks reeks of testosterone.

I feel like if we would be able to give praise to skillful endeavors we wouldn't be jumping at each other's throats, constantly trying to make the game as miserable as possible for our opponent. Right now i feel like the opposite is the case.I feel like the only killer who gives hatch to a survivor who was clearly above the rest and i only caught him after everyone else failed them. Tbagging the killer after a close and engaging game feels so tasteless. Pointing out a myriad of reasons for your defeat instead of taking the L is way to common.

I would love if more people praised each other or at the very least refrained from embarrassing themselves.

Yeah that would be nice but it just easier to blame everything else. In dbd matches are rarely fair for both sides. People even coming in with broken addons like TS peice or u going against good 4 man swf who feel unstoppable. You just gotta accept this game will always struggle with balance and then you will be at peace.

●The map was survivor sided i couldn't do nothing mAnnnnn!!! :(:(

    ● "you only won cause u camp/tunnel"

    ● "The loops are to safe i couldn't do nothing"

    ● "You playing a S tier killer? u should win"

    ● "crutch perks!!!!!!!"

    ● "Gen rushing don't take skill.......yall just holding m1"

  • i just wish they stop sprinkling random bullshit on the ground. Chasing a survivor with limited visit is enough...now u must observe ever peice clutter trash or risk getting randomly stuck. Same with survivor! u looping and bam a small stack of trash stop u. Even the rework gas heaven has more garbage now.

So how come Pig is just left to be completely broken? Is there any ETA on a fix for the myriad of problems she got after the devs changed a single addon? Or is she just gonna be left like this until the license holders get uppity

Sadly this! There have been so many instances were I got trashtalked by a team and they claimed to have all been randos, while playing very efficient. I mean, this can happen, but most often SWFs are involved. I really don't see the problem in showing the killer afterwards, no more second guessing. And most of the time I don't recognise any names in a lobby, or if, just vaguely. The dodging couldn't increase significantly, I mean, what kinda databases should a killer, who wants to dodge em all, build up? Thats just rediculous.

But alas, no clearing it up after the game. And thats gonna stay.

    100% faxs

i don't see any issue in revealing swfs post game and it would be nice to know how often you beat or lose against these players. Unfortunately the devs have made their position on showing swf clear.

  • I don't think behavior wanna reveal swf players in any type of way or form.

  • @MerleDixon said:

With gen regression removed, swfs can literally just crank gens with no punishment. It's honestly out of control. I just played a match with 4 bnps, in which the match lasted about 5 minutes.i couldn't get any pressure either.

I feel like a lot of killers in this game kinda take things too personal

I got a flashlight save so the killer proceeds to tunnel me and then face camp me out of the game

but luckily the 3 other survivors got out so...I don't know what I did to make them upset like that lol

and no this wasn't the a one time thing this actually happens a few games I get

    was it wraith lol?

  • The most overrated perk in the game is hyper focus by a landslide. The non existence boogeyman that was gas up by streamers to be this super slept on overpowering perk.

toxic killer swing at innocent Survivor and get Instant Karma. jk

yeah auto aim is bs! happen to me at least once every 7 games. I don't know why but it seem almost easier to get auto aim these days. might just be me....i am on console

  • she definitely badly design but i don't mind her much myself. You can't blame everyone for disliking her tho when she can stall forever.

Your fun is not my priority, which is why I find the least experienced survivor, hook them, hit them on hook, nod and shake at any mistake they make in chase, then playfully insult them in postgame chat.

If they leave post game chat before I get there, I make sure to leave them a pleasant message on their steam page with some pointers to what they should improve at.

lol what wrong u man. Kids these days

It's really helpful. Don't leave your team 3 gen'd. 99 them so you can pop them when you're ready. Also, leave the basement item at the top of the stairs if you don't want to keep it. Noone likes being caught by the killer whilst openings chest!

99 your sprint burst. 99 the doors, 99 your madness from the doctor (snap out of it).....if that even possible. 99 Everything damn it

I tunnel t-bagging survivors out, albeit I usually lose the match, but hey, it's a good feeling watching them die on hook lol

when a survivor get to antsy with the t bags i like to give them a old fashion smack on the hook before leaving to tend to my gen garden once more.

As survivor i love to t bag but absolutely hate it as killer hehe.

I don’t have trouble getting stacks against stealth killers. Only Dredge because of Nightfall spam. If it’s a killer like Wraith I start going for rescues to place myself closer to them while their TR is up. If the survivor is running Kindred other survivors see me next to them. So they continue doing objectives.

On a side note I feel like seeing everyone’s aura during hook should be basekit. That would help Solo a lot. Kindred would simply allow everyone to see the killer’s aura while hooked.

Yeah if u trying to get a save that could be a good way to build Stacks while still being productive. Kinderd basekit? it never leave any of my builds so it already feel that way to me

windows and kindred is a must have in solo q i swear

yeah sometimes it feels bad when scourge hooks become useless for the rest of the game if its my only scourge but it also feels super nice knowing that i just killed a gens entire lineage, and that decision making stuff also makes it even nicer with agitation to get to whatever hook you please, which i love cuz agitation is dope

I'm loving the pain res killers these days. Less tunneling and good regression for the killer. choosing when to use it feel great. I hope they up the regression to 30%. i would love to see the new pain res become the define meta.

by the way I'm using it on every killer i main and getting some good results

  • my solo q excape rate stay about the same around 40% but the games are more of landslide now. Either 3 gens pop quickly and the killer give up or someone get down very quickly and we never recover.

As killer my win rate drop from 80% to 75%. half the game feel like it about to be L but you somehow pull it off. I mainly use low to middle level killers tho so that still good.

overall this patch I still find solo q to be a wasteland, killer to be very rewarding, and swf to be very fun but more overpowering

People absolutely do just assume every Skull Merchant is going to hard 3-gen. I played Skull Merchant before the mid-chapter and I took every chase that presented itself, wasn't using overbrine (just eruption), and I wasn't kicking gens incessantly. I got a 4k and afterwards one of the survivors messages me and goes "no more 30 minute games for you after the update you'll have to get good"... the match was like 8 minutes lol. no one even dced or killed themselves. It's like he just got it in his head that's what all skull merchants do and just shut his brain off to what was actually happening

yes it been skull merchant who chase with hex builds and those are pretty fun. Some do chase for sure

Man killer mains ######### up. Complaining so hard about DH. Now literally every surv is running lithe, SB or balanced landing and it is annoying af.

You know what I liked about DH? You could counter it, SO easily. You can't counter any of these other exhaustion perks and it is driving me up the wall.

Whereas with DH once I figured out who had it, it was the easiest perk in the world to counter. And now I've got uncounterable speed boosts in practically every chase. Love it.

same dh was much more fun and easy to counter. now i just get close and watch the survivors zoom off... zzzzzzzz

Making a specific build would have such a weakness. Like a full heal build would suck against Plague. Adrenaline builds suck against any killer who can exhaust effectively on top of using Fearmonger.

Even with some practice I can typically get the first 3. The last are usually with Stake Out. Recently I hit 8 in a row, 5 of which was without Stake Out. It’s satisfying to pull off, and see.

If it was any stronger, or somehow more consistent it would be absolutely broken.

3 is very nice and cannot be brush over at all. I Agree if it was any better it would be broken. I just think it not wroth the trouble. Much like devour hope it strong when obtain but still much on the gimmick side.

  • @WaveyTrey said:

Strange enough my favorite perk is actually This is not Happening. I noticed when I’m injured my checks land on the edge of a would be failure whenever I use TISN. Sometimes I use Technician too in case the cursor lands before. As it stops the killer from being notified on a crucial gen that i’m trying to progress. Tbh I feel like more perks should operate this way. Like whenever you’re healthy, injured, or even lacerating.

if u can actually hit the max stack of 6 in row and keep hitting them u will destroy gens without a BNP.

    20230504_005720.jpg

I guarantee you nobody can hit that many in row without relying on the gimmick perk stake out.

  • It hot garbage in solo q and that coming from a guy who spent months not weeks...MONTHS practicing hitting 5 greats in row. For 1 hour every day i faithfully practice no bull$hit. The skill checks speed is far to fast after the third great skill check and 99% of players will just end up blowing the gen. Ironically regressing gens more than helping them from blown skill checks lol. Making stake out a must have in the build. The problem with that is stake out is very inconsistent in getting stacks. You can't gain tokens while in chase like distortion but u don't won't waste time standing near the killer to build stacks either. Which means it at it best vs killers with high mobility who fly all over the map and bad vs killer who enter chase out no where like ( dredge, sadako, wraith, pig, ghost face, etc). U also must run built to last with the tool box so u don't really have much room for variety of perks. The biggest problem by far tho is the small amount of progress gain from hitting greats in row. You hitting 3 in row will only shave off a couple seconds which is terrible. Which mean u need to be on the gen and not get interrupted to get decent vaule. If u not hitting all 5 in row this perk is garbage and u better off running resilience.

  • It been spike in BNP part threads so it probably next on the chopping block. You just gotta wait 6 months to a year probably.

  • @Cyber686 said:

    100 pallets? lol

u gotta account for all that any means necessary vaule

sorry to hear man. The game is definitely a strong map. A week break maybe would do the trick

  • release a dwight cosmetic for the dredge

  • look pretty accurate from what i go up against. i will say tho It been a crazy surge in boil over and flashbangs.

  • @Canas said:

She should be able to ignore pallets if demanifested, it makes zero sense why she can phase through survivors but not through a piece of wood. She has godawful chase potential and is pretty much unplayable without her best addons, her basekit is far too lackluster and the 100 second cooldown on tvs is completely unjustified.

guards can float through floors so let not try to apply any logic to dbd please

  • Removing solo q from existence

  • @H2H said:

Silly rabbit, quality-of-life and accessibility improvements are for survivors!

ok this was actually funny lol

  • It getting impossible to stop the gens so killers ramp up their tactics. The problem with that is solo q never been equip to deal with tactics. In the pass u had crutch perks and items to help u in 1 v1 scenarios so u didn't need to depend on the team as much but now teamwork is mandatory. SOLO Q IS NOT A COORDINATED TEAM. You can't even convey the most simplest things like "don't heal me"...it got damn joke. Playing with inexperience players is auto L and that all match making pair u with.

  • rarely see clown and when i do it almost never pinky finger. With that being said I think camping with a irl head, pinky finger, and etc is extra cringey.

  • Survivors wanna be able to rock back in forth on the hook like a swing set.

  • @Veinslay said:

I love to hard tunnel out BT bodyblockers to teach them a lesson

Yeah it pretty funny cause half time they will dc afterwards

  • @NoHookDC said:

Survivors: We need something basekit to combat tunneling!

    BHVR: Here's Borrowed Time basekit.

Survivors: Cool! We'll use it to body-block the Killer & prevent them from going after our unhooker!

    Killer downs the bodyblocker.

Survivors: What!? BT did not work; I'm still being tunneled! Give us more basekit perks!

Honestly; I'm so frustrated with being screamed 'TUNNELER!' at because the unhooked Survivor literally prevented me from switching targets, then thought they still deserve to run away.

Like, why would I hit Mr. Bodyblocker, then let them flee so I can 2-hit someone else...instead of just hitting them again so I can put them right back up on that hook. How does this logic work, Survivors?

    wHy yOu tunneling mr tunneler???

  • honestly it was just more fun to vs DH. now i just pull up and survivors run off which isn't as strong but way more boring.

  • Making her TR 24 will not help that much given most of the time you're be approaching crouch. Instant down would be to much but i do like your idea to allow the dash to break pallets.

    @sadpiggy0inks said:

As a pig main i feel she is underwhelming and in need of buffs to help her gain more kills and pressure, but without being oppressive (especially with the pigs who tunnel those with a reverse bear trap fore pressure). her reverse bear traps can oppressive and can gain pressure barring the add ons and the perks to ge them off the boxes and gain a second objective (plaything, face the darkness, thwack, etc.) whereas her ambush and stealth is weaker then that of other stealth killers and needs to create pressure easier so here are my changes:

the pig's terror radius is now 24 meters as it gives you tool to be stealthy and get into ur first chase and get a grab or hit a bit easier on unaware survivors. plus it won't be as oppressive as it was on slinger who can shoot you before you can hear his terror radius.

make combat straps and john's medical file base kit so you can transition between crouching and uncrouching easier to get into a chase and not watch the survivor run and gain so much distance before you uncrouch or dash to them.

make her ambush feel like a threat, it can either instadown or break pallets and breakable walls. the dash already is a 50/50 on most weaker tiles, even if faked out with a slight roar you can leave the loop or stay and risk the hit if the pig knows how to play the tile.

in conclusion i feel her stealth is lacking and needs some improvements in order to help her gain hits and chase without making her too strong but more fun to play against. what buffs/nerfs you would give her to make her feel a bit stronger?

I have over 6k hours total, over PS4 and Steam. I have almost every character/killer P10. I've been here since the launch on console in 2017. Switched in 2018 to Steam. It just doesn't seem fair. I've had a few survivors with less than 200 hours on my team so something is definitely up. I've recorded 10 videos, and only 2 are wins. If you can barely call them a win. You can see the trash that I'm talking about. Always Iri 1, to now, having teammates scared of a heartbeat. It's really frustrating. My killer MMR seems to have stayed the same, though.

That why lobby dodging is must in solo q. If u under a certain amount hours or prestige im out. don't wanna do it but i also refuse to go into a match with a team that not likely to win.
