Dead hard is just a braindead crutch perk that saves you when you make a mistake. You get positioned, you play poorly, and a button is there to save your life. TBH the fact that its buggy is the only thing that makes it half balance. And no, stop acting like pressing e to get to a pallet while you should have got hit is skill.
-
@redsopine00 killer queues have been faster than never, and its about to be ruined.
-
@th3 oh, its really hard for these devs to understand that mmr sucks. Ok
-
@ChirpingCat just remove or change things like mori offerings and camping. You cannot do the same for SWF, because it will hurt the playerbase.
-
@Slashstreetboy the thing is: maybe remove killer lock, which is dumb, and also killers would not necessarily dodge, but rather put a better killer and a stronger build.
-
@immortalls96 the problem is that his gun is instant so yea, not much counter for survivors.
@SCP_FOR_DBD Freddy snares do not destroy looping potential, I have tested it a lot of time. His alow down add ons are broken, not his base kit. He can tp but there is enough time.
Also, EVERYONE, why are you so negative about this post for literally 2 killers while they are 7 killers? NO ONE talked about them.
-
@SwingnMiss I agree. Sounds like a good idea.
@SCP_FOR_DBD Freddy is not that bad and spirit had already been nerfed.
-
@Blueberry oh ok, we are in an english class now.
@clem1710 lol you did not even bother explaining why. Also someone who only plays killer (you very likely do) will not be able to feel the frustrations of the other side. I am going to check your posts and if you tend to think like a killer main, I will not bother arguing with you.
-
@Demonl3y I did argue with them later. But only after realizing they were not entitled killer mains, because there is no point in arguing with people that just want their free wins.
-
@Callmehandsome right now tho, the game is balanced.
-
@bredbeddle I never told the killers they are bad, I said that they should accept that they are counter perks.
-
@Elcopollo I do not blame the killers for cmaping. I blame them for crying when survivors use counter-tools.
@WhyMe you probably notice those survivors a lot, and its true they suck. However this does not justify killers doing whatever they want, your reply is just whataboutism.
-
@korean_zombie consider reading what I said about why hook rushing with BT is not an issue.
@Rullisi if you think that vaulting a window should give you 3 miles of distance for free, then I do not know what to say.
-
@EvilJoshy I have to agree for the part that it should only be an anti tunnel perk, however you tend to notice more the times that you got hit unfairly due to humans remembering more unfair experiences.
-
For the number 2, you are mentioning a very situational thing, like it only applies 2% of the time.
For the number 3, t-bagging can be a strategy used to get the attention of the killer.
For the number 6, you basically seem to think that every killer is fine... But I am not sure
For the number 7, do not forget hitboxes that took years to get fixed and are still bugged sometimes.
-
@Maperson yes you are at fault for getting downed, no I never shamed the killer for killing, I just think it should be fixed. Also, saying that killers should not have to get 3 downs on a survivors also means that moris are fair and balance, which is false.
-
@2ndBusiestmusicnerd your welcome! I already banned exhaustion perks that do not require skill (dead hard, lithe and balanced landing), but this will complete the list!
@Maperson they did down you once, but the game is designed so that you go down from 1 to 3 times in a match, so this excuse is dumb.
-
@2ndBusiestmusicnerd you know what? I think I will stop using decisive and switch it up for borrowed time.
-
@2ndBusiestmusicnerd oh, yea. Killer complaints about decisive are partially valid, but it pisses me off to think that these killers are using toxic survivors as an excuse to complain and get rid of a perk that counters tunnelers.
-
@TheButcher if you think that only kilelrs or survivors have bullshit to deal with, this is a lack of udnerstanding for the other side. This is not an opinion at this point, it is a fact.
-
@2ndBusiestmusicnerd well if killers complain about borrowed time, they are tunnelers. If the survivor is an aggressive hook rusher, it gives you the opportunity to start a chase immediately after.
-
@Pipefish well if they complain about BT then they do not like tunneling.
@Maperson campers and tunnelers can also get a kill they did not deserve.
@TWiXT well decisive and borrowed are useless if the other survivors d ogens, so this is out of the discussion. I never said killers were scummy for tunneling, killers are meant to kill, but they should not blame perks for their failures if they use starts that are not fun.
@Immerschläfrig I almost never get this kind of survivors. It is funny how you show the 20% of cases where survivors are toxic while leaving the 80% cases of survivors that do not want to get tunneled behind.
@mistar_z it can also force the killer to use startegies that require more skill than tunneling.
@vector if DS is canceled by jumping into a locker, its an easy tunnel into slugging. You like to show the tip of the iceburg that shows the toxic DS survivors, but as a killer player, I can tell you that it is very rare to get this kind of survivors. Rank 4 at it between.
@Sadsnacks you should not be trashtalked honestly, it is in the game and a valid strat. My problem is when killers come and complain about decisive and borrowed.
-
@Dwinchester oh but we can also say the same for killers. They are a lot of bad killers that draw the score down.
-
@Pulsar it depends if it is a bunch of solo&2 man swf or 3 man swf&4 man swf. It also depends on the perks used and the map.
@Vox_Nocturne this is true!
-
1) For BT, saving in your face (instant unhook) makes it s othat you enter the next chase instantly instead of needing to find another survivor, I do not get what is the deal. Decisive can be dumb, but a lot of the time it is just about tunneling.
2) Instant changes are when someone switches to the last second.
3) Your team can tell you if you are in a SWF, which you seem to want the game to be balanced around (to screw every solo survivor) and it requires the hatch to have been found, to have spawned and that you, the killer, and you can find it before it opens if it spawned.
4) I said franklin is boring (for keys it is fine but for the rest it sucks), not op or a crutch. Doing bones? This is hard in a solo team and if one of the bones is well hidden, it becomes VERY, VERY time consuming.
The deal at the end is quite nice: corrupt should only be base kit against 3-4 man SWF tho.
-
@Primalux135 I will explain you why:
-Swf have the other way around of playing solo with noobs, which sucks.
-Instant changes suck? Oh, poor baby killer that cannot use his boring Franklin! I am gonna cry for you.
-Hatch RNG based? And so, that can affect negatively survivor, tho. That alone shows you do not think about the other side at all (or very little).
-"Crutch perks": killers do not have boring perks, right? Franklin, NOED, this is all fine... Yea in your head because your a killer main that can only see the side that favors him, so yea they are fine in your eyes. And decisive&borrowed might be run because of tunnelers and not to be toxic.
-
@RockoRango do you play against tryhard killers sometimes. Survivors are not the only ones to get free wins. You seem to forget that things like ebony mori exist.
-
1) A lot of killers are strong enough to deal with it.
2) Not everyone wants to play in a 3-4 man swf. Balancing around that would make solos and 2 man swf rage quit the game. In fact, solo players are underwelming and the same thing applies to killers.
1) Get good at a strong killer.
2) Get it level up and get broke nadd ons and moris.
3) Solo and 2 man swf survivors cannot deal with this.
-
@MeltingPenguins I agree, but the same thing applies to killers: they can facecamp, run the same build over and over gagain ,etc
-
@NursesBootie no because its for the first down: after that the game slows down a lot due to the pressure from the hook. 1 rescuer, 1 guy gets chased and 1 guy on a hook. Only 1 out of the 3 survivors that were originally working on a gen are doing gens now. Not to mention that solo queue gets you teammates that do not do gens
-
@tippy2k2 I understand that 3-4 man swf can be hellish and unbalanced, but the opposite exists: if you are a solo queue survivor and the game is balanced around top players, you will be matched with noobs and so, you will lose. Solo queue is filled with crap teammates, which gives a chance to the killer. Even if you are a 2 man swf, you still have 2 random teammates that can suck.
-
@Talmeer Specifically said it it NOT NOT NOT because of that. If we tweaked absolutely every sentence to make it say what it does not say, I bet that you would get constantly flamed. It is their fault for reading to quick or something.
-
@Talmeer WHERE is the insult? Well maybe I should have said that entitled survivors that want the game to favor them exist, but thats it. Survivor complaints are sometimes valid, sometimes not, but this post was answering to killers thinking dbd is to favored towards survivors.
-
@Demonl3y as I said earlier, we need stats to understand better.
-
@Demonl3y I dont think you understand how opinions work. Just because I think differently of you does not mean I am wrong.
-
@clem1710 lol in this post I asked for 3 killers to be buffed, yet you still make me sound like an entitled survivor main
-
@Antares_2332 well a lack of pressure compensates for his strong chase potential if the chase potential only comes from the gun. combine it with the small terror radius and you have an op killer.
-
You cannot win with iri head and an ebony mori? Git gud buddy. I am tired of all the entitled killer mains like you. Whatever, dbd is made of entitled killers and survivors.
-
@2ndBusiestmusicnerd it is hard to argue the power of a killer because some things might sound good on paper but sucks when applied. I would like to see the devs give us stats about this.
-
@Antares_2332 I am not sure about that. His chase potential would still be great due to his gun if he is used correctly.
-
@2ndBusiestmusicnerd you do not even know the number of indoor maps lul. They are 4 due to midwhich. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rFIXdbpFizw here is the proof it does counter decisive. And more often that not, it is not difficult to keep sight with a survivor, even in an indoor map. You cannot loop normally when PH drops his word on the ground for an attack because you need to juke him.
-
@2ndBusiestmusicnerd I though you were one because you only mentioned the part of the post that negatively affects killers, so you had a 99% chance to be a killer main, but you are not. Sorry, that was a mistake, even tho you really seemed like one, I will try to verify things I say next time (things that concern specific players).
-
@2ndBusiestmusicnerd deathslinguer: you cannot use your eyes on an indoor map or when your working on a generator with a lot of obstacles nearby. Using perks just for a killer is dumb because they might never get into use. Stop trying to force me to use certain builds because, you know, I can apply that logic to you: since your a killer main, I assume you think decisive is op. You can just use unnerving presence.
For Pyramid head, you will have to instantly drop the pallet or something if you ever want to have a chance to get chases, which will lead to a resource shortage.
-
@2ndBusiestmusicnerd killer main detected
-
@Angelicus23 when you deny blatant issues for the other side and only want buffs that favor you, then your opinion is biased. I am sorry, but this is entitlement (if you think that you always lose because of the game or something).
-
@slim0b however, there is one thing that is right about your comment and I apologize for it: I am sorry for my comment being aggressive. I should have been nicer: killer mains are not necessarily entitled. They are allowed to have an opinion.
-
@slim0b you have a point for the killer latency part, sometimes it is this. But when you notice that there is a pattern in things that bug more often (like dead hard for example), then you can tell it is not just lag. Also, if it is the killer that lags, then why cannot the devs fix it?
@johnmwarmer yes
-
@MeatBycicle nah, dbd is balanced i general. New survivors tho have to deal with crap. Tell me why you think it is survivor favored.
-
@Rave014 that would be a good idea.
-
@azame not everyone wants to play swf.
