Yea, they can save teammates. But seriously, any good killer can just see that there is a flashlight in the lobby and become cautious. How about pallet blinds? If the killer has no headset, they are amazing. Problem is, most do. And if you think that they work against a good killer, then try them in kill your friends against me, and I will show you how a competent killers handles your cute li11 comments 271 views last activity

First of all, Behavior needs to stop thinking about making dbd horror style, 3 games as a survivor and dbd is no longer scary. New survivors do not stay or leave because of horror and having information that is basekit for swf does not make the game less horror style because swf already have it anyways. Kindred needs to be basekit to counter campers and there should be an icon that pops when a te2 comments 71 views last activity

I hear some killers say that its 16 perks vs 4, 4 survivors vs 1 killers, etc. They completely ignore the strength differences, as if one killer perk that impacts all survivors is equal to a survivor perk that impacts only the survivor using it.18 comments 771 views last activity

Assuming that the amount of blocks is unlimited, it would help a lot to reduce selfish teammates constantly ruining games. No more sandbaggers, hook farmers, bush stealth noobs that do not do gens and so on. "Bu-bu-bu-butt would that not increase queue times?" Technically, yes it would, but it is ok. For the survivors that block pthers, it is their choice, they consider that their experience is22 comments 541 views last activity

What is more frustrating for a killer than to play against a blatant cheater? They can do generators instantly, they can go at lightning speed and as if it was not enough, they can instantly heal even if you manage to down one with pure genius. To make things worse, these little demons often enjoy being cocky, staying around the killer, going clicky clicky... This seems like a huge mountain of un0 comments 51 views last activity

RPD sucks, it is beautiful but so can any map be if it is reworked, and even then having a beautiful map means nothing when it sucks gameplay wise. 1) Some people have more lag problems on this map. 2) To be able to have fun on this map, you have to learn it, otherwise you will just be in a crap maze that is boring. You can either learn it as you play it and get tons of crap matches in which yo51 comments 852 views last activity

Yes, we get it, there are some startegies or builds that you do not like to go against. But if dbd is lacking in fun to the point where you just dc, why are you even in this game in the first place? I am sure that you could find a game that is fun for you and would not require you to leave. You do not need to ruin 4 people's game.29 comments 1,091 views last activity

I am looking for doing fake afk Trapper: I hit the air like I am a bot but when the survivors vault, they get trapped in the room. If there are normal entrances, the traps can be saboed or the dying survivor can crawl out, and if it is not a closed room the survivor can crawl.4 comments 51 views last activity

Dbd has been around for years, but no major competitor has managed to take it's spot. Yet. Dbd has a huge flaw that is fixable, but the dbd team is not willing to work on it. It is the fact that there is a lack of variety of game modes in dbd. You can only play 4 survivors vs 1 killer, same goal, the only difference being the killer power and the map. There are no arcade mode or story mode (woul5 comments 241 views last activity

When some dbd players suggest the devs add a story mode & coop missions, a lot of people argue that it would split the playerbase and cause longer queue times. In my opinion, the reverse will happen in the long term, here is why. Every time a new chapter is released (example: Demogorgon), the fans of the movie in which the killer is featured try the game, which means a temporary massive incr8 comments 91 views last activity

Dbd is not a game of skill, it is a party game. The devs themselves do not fix the cheesy strategies. It is a chill game with gimmicks you can use to try to win, but at the end of the day it was never meant to be for skilled players. Even mmr reflects this (survivors can hide all game, take hatch and become high mmr). The game literally rewards no skill strategies. Why are you even here if what y22 comments 391 views last activity

Currently, when you play survivor, you gain mmr if you escape and lose mmr if you die, this is the only metric that counts. Should it instead be based on the number of escapes (+10 points when a survivor escapes, -10 points when a survivor dies)? If a survivor disconnects it counts as a death to prevent exploits. On the short term you can lose or gain mmr because of teammates, however if you do23 comments 191 views last activity

Acoording to the mmr system, these survivors are amazing: 1) A Claudette that hides in bushes all game, lets the teammates die and then uses a key or the perk left behind to escape is likely to get to a very high mmr. 2) The selfish teammate that lets everyone else carry him and leaves them to die on hook because he wants to rush the gates supposedly did a good job. 3) The teammate that sacrif4 comments 101 views last activity

Cheating survivors can literally automatically escape the match while the hatch is not here and the gates are closed and the game does not detect anything suspicious? It is easy to code. Even if it takes 3 games to make sure an hacking killer does not drop the survivor or something like that.5 comments 81 views last activity

Basically, would mmr be better if it took into account if your teammates escaped or not. 0 escapes = big loss 1 escape = smaller loss 2 escapes = stay at your mmr 3 escapes = smaller mmr gain 4 escapes = big mmr gain4 comments 31 views last activity

What is the point of having perks that just save you from poor decision making? NOED and DH are literally just no skill perks that save you when you get outplayed. Well designed perks like deception require you to outplay the killer to get distance and maybe escape him, while there are perks that save you from your own mistakes. Perks should open up new plays, not free ways to get save yourself f28 comments 631 views last activity

Basically, should the devs take away RPD and Haddonfield until they are reworked and ptb players confirm them to be fun (even if that means that the maps will be gone for good because the devs do not prioritize reworking them)? Most of the player base does not like them, which is why I am making this poll.8 comments 141 views last activity

I played as tombstomb Myers with the goal of catching exit gate t-baggers. I got 2 games in a row in which I caught one. However, they only crouched one or 2 times, so it was not intense t-bagging, it was mild. Do you still think it is satisfying to see a survivor that t-bags by crouching one or 2 times get caught?5 comments 31 views last activity

RPD is a trash map that needs to be removed. It has almost no advantage and is full of things that make the game unenjoyable. 1) RPD is just dark. You cannot see stuff a lot of the time. I struggle to see pallets sometimes, while I do not have this issue on any other map (before you ask, I do not have eye problems). 2) It is a pointless maze. What is the point of having so many dead ends and t3 comments 21 views last activity

I am currently using the tombstomb add on as Myers. I make sure to tier 3 and down people normally in the game so that at the exit gates, they feel safe t-bagging. However, some survivors either get out before I can catch them or (in most cases) just get out without t-bagging. How do I get matched up with more t-baggers? 1) Is it better to turn on cross play or to turn it off to get some cocky s6 comments 31 views last activity

The mmr system (for survivors) is based on if you escape or not. This is a very bad way of ranking you. It punishes good survivors that care about teammates and rewards selfish survivors that let others die on hook to escape. Let's give an example: 1) A survivor is in a situation where all 3 of his teammates are hooked. He manages to unhook all of them and they all escape, but he cannot do so hi11 comments 151 views last activity

The queue times can be quite long and boring in dead by daylight. There is nothing to do. But what if Behaviour released mini-games you could play while in the lobby? Their access could be gained by buying it with real world money. Since everyone needs to go through the queue, nobody would be unable to benefit from buying it: for dlcs, there are already a lot of survivors and killers, so a lot o9 comments 101 views last activity

The pig's bear traps are boring. They rely on luck, which makes them frustrating: when you are the survivor and the killer chases you & you only get the trap of on the last box, it is very unfun because you will probably die and there was nothing you could do. You died because you died. If you are the killer, it feels so cheesy when survivors get to remove the bear trap first try and get an e0 comments 51 views last activity

In dbd, there are people that think that the opposite side has to play of THEY want, yet they can do whatever they want. On the killer side, there are players that think that the survivors are toxic for t-bagging them despite having camped and attacked survivors off the hook. They think that playing in boring ways is fine for them but survivors getting cocky afterwards at the gates is SO toxic.12 comments 121 views last activity

I often see killers complaining that they are to weak. However, they are not. They have easy strategies that do not require that much talent to pull of. If survivors are bad, then you win. But what is the survivors are good loopers? Then the killer can simply catch someone and facecamp him. About 2 gens should be done at this point. Most of the time, other survivors will try to rescue the hoo45 comments 611 views last activity

Dbd could take some variety in my opinion: adding a mini-games mode would keep the game fresh for much longer as it would offer much more content. The devs could make money out of it if they sold it as a dlc. It would sell better as well because it would be a new type of dlc compared to the killer ones (people prefer new things). The idea I suggest in this post is to give the players the ability0 comments 141 views last activity
