It would be incredibly fun to play a 2v8 some time and be very resreshing. This would open up such a big variation in strategies used: what would be the killer coordination? What perk combos shall the killer use? What will the survivors decide to organize themselves with the team? I get something like this must be high effort. This is why I suggest to the devs to make it a dlc one has to pay to8 comments 1,231 views last activity

Killer mains and survivor mains, in some cases, seem to believe that they are always losing because of the game, never because of their skill. They also seem to believe that they are the weak side and their desire to win every time makes this vision even more extreme. But when you see the statistics, the kill rate in red ranks is of plus or less 50%. So, stop it with this mentality that you are t2 comments 51 views last activity

Dead by daylight has a lot of ways to be toxic: wither by saying ez in the endgame chat, by putting broken builds or by using tryhard strategies. This is how one toxic player can corrupt the whole community: The toxic player that does not care about others join a game. Lets say it is a killer for the example. The killer will be an ebony mori Freddy that tunnels off the hook little baby dweets. A1 comments 51 views last activity

This is the fix to SWF. If the killer knows that the group he is facing is a bunch of solo players, he knows he can afford to learn a new killer and if it is a 4 man swf, it is time to use a good build on a good killer. This would require the killer to be able to make the difference between a 2 man SWF and a 4 man SWF. So basically, what would happen is: all the nice solo survivors get nice kille14 comments 171 views last activity

Recently, MMR has been turned down, and killer queues were great. Also, I was matched with rank 4-10 survivors instead of a bunch of rank 20 players. Please, devs, let mmr go. This is why. First of all, killers have really fast queue times. This has not been like that for ages, and since you are not that great at not making your game bug, this is truly golden luck that will be wasted if you turn0 comments 11 views last activity

I made a post recently covering killers that need buffs and nerfs, but I think that I did not cover everything. Also, please, do not reply if you are: 1) A survivor that only wants m1 zombie killers that can be looped for years. 2) A killer that only wants super-speed one shot characters that have the survivor aura revealed at all time. Sorry for mistakes, english is not my first language. Le30 comments 431 views last activity

Oh, it is so much fun to constantly get rank 20 survivors the second I want to play another killer! Yay! Instant free win with no challenge or strategy involved! This is very cool. Wow. Just so much fun. Why is it that switching from Wraith to Myers gives me baby survivors? I still have base knowledge of the game. At this point I am getting fed up that I need to choose between instant wins and3 comments 41 views last activity

I noticed quite a lot of complaints about survivor perks in dbd, so I will give my opinion on them. The perks that are hated are, for the most part, exhaustion perks in general, adrenaline, decisive strike and borrowed time. Exhaustion perks: yes, they are broken. They basically give you a free get out of trouble card when you should have been downed. They basically gain free distance that requi24 comments 651 views last activity

Killer mains tend to complain about survivor meta when they are the ones that cause it to happen in the first place. This also applies to some survivors, but mostly it is just killers that do this. This does not apply to every killer player. Here is what they do: they camp and tunnel a survivor to death and then, in such a way that it is impossible for that survivor to escape without decisive st123 comments 6,841 views last activity

The grind in dbd is long, and it can be tedious. Daily rituals might require you to play a killer you do not like, which is not fun. This is why adding challenges that you can do whenever you want in exchange of a +100% bloodpoint bonus would be nice. Just having it activated gives you more points, no need to escape or get a 4k. It would make the game harder for those who are having to easy games0 comments 21 views last activity

Lately, I have seen a lot of killers complain about the game being survivor favored, while in reality the escape&death ratio is around 50&50. Even so, killers tend to think the game favors survivors. Why is that? No, it is not because they have smaller brains, no it is not because they are dumb, no it is not because they are entitled: the reason is that they feel stressed when survivors m76 comments 2,031 views last activity

So, in dbd, to many killers are just weak or to strong. This is why I decided to make a list of buffs and nerfs for them. I am going to start with weaker killers and then I will propose changes for the stronger ones. And please, try to get out of the mindsets "I want my 4k for free" or "I cannot bully killers and t-bag them all game if they are to strong". So, I decided to make this post in order to help you realize if you understand both sides or only one of them. This post will ask a few questions, and it will determinate if are a one side thinking guy or if you are someone that understands both of them. Obviously, being in the "I want free wins" category shows that you only understand one side and that your opinion is just the one of somebody wh38 comments 391 views last activity

Ok, so here is the deal: I had 5 games, and in 4 of them I add a GAME BREAKING bug that killed me. I got hit while the killer was off screen, literally, yet I somehow got hit. And before all the "I want my 4k" killer mains come and tell me to get a good computer and a good internet, note that BOTH are good. In another game, I just vaulted a window and I was LITERALLY 5 feet away from it, yet I s5 comments 171 views last activity

I have more than 1000 hours and I am a rank 4, yet somehow I played against a rank 20 trapper who did not even know how to lunge. I forgot to take a screenshot, but damn, how can Behaviour turn poop (the old matchmaking) into (bad word)? Come on devs. Just stop with that quantity over quality! Just come on. No need to explain why a 1000 hours survivor gets against a baby killer. And then, these k3 comments 71 views last activity

This post is a question for the devs. Why do you take so long to do things everybody wants or even not do them at all? Some people have been asking for features for years, ones that are legitimate, meanwhile you change things nobody asked for? Like, for example: colorblind people are asking for a colorblind option, yet you just ignore it. Why? It would not take much time to fix and would help0 comments 51 views last activity

I saw quite a few people say that matchmaking is broken, which it is, but then they are people (probably smurfing swf) that come and say "Git gud". Now, lets ignore the fact that those players are probably swf smurfs that are looking to bully new players and are just here to ruin the community: I will just answer your magnificently flawed argument. The thing is: before you jump into a game and t7 comments 211 views last activity

*If your arguments rely on the killer being a noob for it to work, then your argument is bad* In dbd, flashlights are seen as an item that reward skill and is very good. However, is it worth the learning? I am gonna check the different uses. You can either blind the killer at a loop or flashlight save. For the blinding part, it can be funny to see the killer going in the wrong direction. doing27 comments 771 views last activity

So, today I just got camped by 2 killers, and in both cases I died. After the game tho, my teammate was accusing the killer. I feel like this is unfair. Yes, camping sucks and should not be a thing: it is broken, and it should be removed from the game. However, the killer is not at fault for camping. Let me explain: first, killers can deal with a lot of stress. Losing a down due to a dead hard19 comments 361 views last activity

A lot of killers complain about gen rushing, and behaviour will now help them stop it. The thing is: killers are not supposed, in a balanced world, to be able to stop all generators from being done. Since the ideal ratio for escape&kill is 50&50 (unless you are an entitled killer main&survivor main but no one should listen to those as they have no idea what they are talking about), it0 comments 31 views last activity

Dbd has a lot of updates that attracts new players, like, for example, stranger things. However, the game fails miserably when it comes to keeping these attracted players. The new player experience is terrible for 2 reasons: the grind and the bad matchmaking. First of all, the new player has 1 perks, no items and no offerings. Then, they will very probably be matched against people who have a fu46 comments 751 views last activity

In dbd, a lot of players complain about multiple problems. However, a lot of people have biased opinions or will just get ignored while making valid complains. I am gonna say, in my opinion, what people should be listened at. To put it simply, people that play killer and survivor equally. These people have almost no possibility of having a biased opinion: they play both sides equally, which mean40 comments 491 views last activity

*This post will be valid after the update* Well, Billy used to be balanced except for some add ons. But now, no one will play Billy? Why? Because he will have the same strength as Oni and Leatherface, but he will just require more skill. More skill should mean better killer, since you should be rewarded for playing a killer that is hard to play, but now Billy will no longer be good. Meanwhile, s7 comments 171 views last activity

Decisive strike is meant to protect the survivor that uses it from killers that want to tunnel. This is fine: tunneling does not require any skill and should not be a thing, good to have some counter to it. The problem is: the perk does not protect from smart tunnelers and some killers might not have tunneled the survivor but can still get hit by it. Let me explain: the tunneler can easily slug37 comments 561 views last activity

A lot of dbd players play in an unfun way, which is fine: the game let bad and unfun stuff happen, so it is not the fault of the survivors. However, these players that use broken or unfun stuff have no right to cry when they get hit on the hook or t-bagged. If you want to use an ebony, then do it! But do not cry if the survivors tbag you at the exit gate: you used an unfun and no skill strategy,3 comments 44 views last activity

Keys and moris and both purely and simply dumb, and op crap that should either receive a massive nerf or be removed from the game entirely. I will start of by explaining why a mori is not balanced and then explain why keys are not fair either. A mori allows the killer to skip 1 third of his objective. Community: hey devs, we have problems with queue times, matchmaking is terrible, ranking system sucks, they are tons of bugs and 50% of the maps are either killer sided or survivor sided! Devs: ok, well you think that maps suck due to balance? Then lets add a new map that both sides hate, so that there is no balance issue possible! In dbd, a lot of people complained about camping. Both killers and survivors think they speach the truth. In fact, they both have good and bad complains about camping. I will start with the killer complains. Dbd has strong killers that are overwelming, but their base kits are always fine. When playing against a no add on killer, there is always a reasonable amount of counter-play that makes the killer balanced. The problem is when the killer starts using add ons. For exemple, the nurse was about mindgames and skill. But with her 3000 blinks and 30000 miles add ons, she was almost un-defeatable. Yet15 comments 161 views last activity

In dbd, there is a huge gap between 3-4 man swf and solos. Since the devs balance the game around 2 man swf, it means that solo players will always have a big disadvantage, while 3-4 man swf have it easy. I will explain why swf and solos need to be more equal and then, I will propose an easy and effective solution for it. Also, if you do not play survivor or killer, then I would recommend playing13 comments 181 views last activity

I saw the patch notes for Hillbilly, and while survivors do have issues, Hillbilly is not one of them. This killer is quite fun to go against: there is a lot of skill involved into dodging and juking him and his strength also requires great skill. I remember playing him for the first time, and I did need to learn his power. Also, almost no one complained about him. What is the point of nerfing th40 comments 551 views last activity

Dbd forums have a lot of nice ideas that could improve the game, but it also has a lot of one sided idea people. Whiny survivor mains&killer mains posts are everywhere. The killer main will start renting about how stupid everything is, while they often just need to get good and the survivor main will complain about killers being toxic, while its up to the devs to fix the issues (if there is18 comments 361 views last activity

Right now, I am a killer main, games are quite fun, but there is 1 big issue. The queue times. I get to wait from 5-10 minutes just to get games from plus or less 15 minutes. It sucks to be honest. A solution would be to give the killer something to do, like a huntress trying to hit Artificial intelligence survivors running away and would make lobbies feel less long. So yea hope the devs fix the5 comments 111 views last activity
