""New players should git gud"" (+50% potential money for BHVR!)

I saw quite a few people say that matchmaking is broken, which it is, but then they are people (probably smurfing swf) that come and say "Git gud". Now, lets ignore the fact that those players are probably swf smurfs that are looking to bully new players and are just here to ruin the community: I will just answer your magnificently flawed argument.

The thing is: before you jump into a game and try to git gud at it, you need to know if it is fun. It is a test period. If you leave because of being imposed the dumb handicap of perks or getting pro players will make them think the game is unbalanced and bad.

In fact, these players try to know if they want to keep playing: maybe them stopping to play is not because of bad will of wanting easy games: they will simply think that the game is bad: how can they experience the fun of the game if all they get is sweaty opponents? They will only see the dark side of dbd: how can they know that gitting gud will be worth it?

I repeat myself: if you play something, you test it first. What is the point of try harding on something that seams terribly made? They are not people wanting free wins, they are people wanting to know if the game is worth putting time into it. *****And having a bad matchmaking makes it seams like the game has lazy devs, which will mean that new players will have a good reason to believe that in the end, the game is bad*****.

And now, let me explain the 50%+ money for Behaviour. In dbd, half of the players leave before reaching rank 19. If dbd was fair to them, I can assume that at least half of those who left would stay, seeing dbd is a game worth getting gud at. More players means more money. This is why Behaviour can get a huge amount of money for being competent with their matchmaking.

  • Or have bots like in the training mode on Mobile. A mode where you can practice against bots and still level up until you think you are good enough for real players.

  • @Rave014 that would be a good idea.

yep this is me, was new to game and i've quit and don't plan to return. 1st game went again high rank people and then got told off in the game chat.

oh well plenty of other games to play i guess

See you made the problem of playing killer. The Devs only care about survivor fun since they bring in the most money.

Or maybe he made another account to give himself props, the odds pretty are silly that a new made account just comes to complain in this thread in particular instead of complaining in his own.

    Even the typo is similar.

  • If they left after a couple of bad games it's not like they were gonna be a loyal customer anyway. Matchmaking is a problem, but fixing it won't suddenly make everybody who tries this game want to start committing time or money to this game. That comes gradually with impactful base game changes such as a training mode. New players deserve better than just facing other new players.

  • @MeatBycicle nah, dbd is balanced i general. New survivors tho have to deal with crap. Tell me why you think it is survivor favored.
