She’s 100% still S tier. Her nerf put her below Blight but that’s it.

Even a relatively small change like making it so the Boon isn't highlighted blue for all of the survivors would make it more balanced.
That would only have a significant impact on solo players. SWFs would be largely unaffected.
It’s the same reason why perks like Third Seal are largely inconsistent and not good
-
Because COH is so strong that it mostly outweighs any benefit of cleansing a totem unless it's a hex totem.
If they nerf COH to the point where it's not meta anymore, we won't be in a boon meta anymore and things will mostly go back to the way they were prior to October (at least in regards to totems).

I also thought this was the case. But most of my friends are fairly new to the game, having around less than 30 hours of gameplay. It wasn't included in the video but a few secs after I touched the gen again one of my friends (the Jonah) complained why he can't do the gens hence the DMS was still active.
Oh. Well that changes things then.

SBMM and boon totems.
There was also very little hype for the Artist, most players don't like her, and she was quickly forgotten when the Ringu chapter was announced almost 3 months in advance.
-
I mean...there was no good thing for you to do here really. Those survivors just got unlucky. Either you DC, which you did, or they do gens with an afk killer while you try to fix your issue. Wasn't going to be a fun game either way.

“Just do bones” is a bad argument and I’m tired of hearing every other killer defend noed with it. The same way I’m also tired of survivors saying it to defend coh.
It is not practical counterplay to either boons or noed, with a different reason for each.
-
Don’t cleanse all the totems. Just take note of where they are in case noed comes into play.
Noed needs to be reworked. Cleansing all the totems is not practical counterplay to prevent something that the killer may not have and actively hurts the boon economy in a meta where coh is extremely common. (And I’m not implying coh is balanced; it’s not, just speaking objectively here.) Add onto that the fact that Pentimento exists.
But yeah. Imo, cleansing totems is a waste of time unless it’s a hex or you’re running a perk that requires a cleanse (eg. clairvoyance).
-
Also noticed this with the 5.6.0 update, hiding in a locker while injured is basically a death sentence.
-
What I think actually happened here is that DMS was already active previously (from when he hooked the jill). So when PR hit your gen, DMS had about half a second left before expiring, and since hooking a new survivor doesn’t reset it (its duration is its cooldown and technically can make lower tiers of DMS situationally better), it blocked your gen and then it immediately unblocked as it had been 45 seconds since he hooked the jill.
Had the blight waited an extra second to hook, your gen would’ve been blocked for a full 45 seconds.
It does seem like this caused the visual effects to glitch though.

Why should killers even get a perk for free?
The idea is that because basekit BT is essentially a 5th perk slot for survivor the killer should get something back for it.
It doesn't really have to be a "perk" though; there are plenty of other possible changes that would go a long way and imo there are changes that could be made on both sides to make the game better overall regardless of whether basekit BT is implemented or not. Basekit BT is just one thing they hinted at that they were considering.
The problem I have with just slapping on basekit corrupt and leaving it at that is that A) it would probably become more meta to just hide and wait it out since survivors know it will be there before the game even starts, which is very boring gameplay, and B) it isn't always a good idea to run it with totem perks, since a survivor who can't work on the gen right next to them will be more encouraged to find things like chests, totems, etc. And totem spawns/survivor spawns are something that already need work, and giving more attention to those things would be a nice tradeoff for something like basekit BT or whatever else they may decide to implement to combat camping.
If you want to reduce camping it needs to be a less appealing option, but in a way that can't be easily abused/exploited by the survivors. Things such as "disable bubba's chainsaw near the hook" or "increase repair speeds while the killer is near the hook" or "slow down the Entity progression by 50% while the killer is near the hook" are exploitable by survivors who are being chased as they can run near the hook to either force these kinds of penalties or force the killer to drop the chase and allow a free unhook to avoid it.

Slowdown perk ? How? You can still repair with Hex:Plaything.
It provides a small amount of slowdown by encouraging survivors to find and cleanse the hex totem if they don't want to deal with it.
I wouldn't call it a slowdown perk though. That's just how hexes work and is just a side benefit of them.
-
My personal favorite is Hex: Pentimento, Hex: Thrill of the Hunt, Thanatophobia, and Hex: Plaything. Slows down generators and makes totems take an eternity, but has a big weakness in that it doesn't do much in the early game. But if you can get it going it becomes very difficult to deal with. If you want more early game slowdown you can replace thrill with ruin at the cost of survivors spending less time on totems later.
Another classic is Hex: Ruin, Hex: Undying, Discordance, and then either Hex: Retribution or Infectious Fright. (Don't use infectious and retribution together though; survivors who are oblivious will be immune to infectious, so pick one or the other.)
Someone else already mentioned Infectious, thana, BBQ, and corrupt which I've also used before and I can confirm that's a solid choice as well.
-
If it worked like that it wouldn't be that much better than the original iteration of it which wasn't good.

That was too early.

Not really.
The most balanced state was right after the Hatch nerf and before Boons
The hatch nerf was in the same patch as the introduction of boons.
Though if there was a gap between the two then I would probably agree with you.
Without boons the game really wouldn't be so bad right now.

Can you imagine Mettle of Man in the current game?
oof
OG MoM with current COH?
Even more reason to play Plague.
Not that you couldn't still get tokens when going from injured to dying when she doesn't have her power but at least you're not healing every 2 seconds and taking hits for people to get it.
-
Dark Devotion is basic attacks only; frenzying the obsession wouldn't trigger it.
Also, even if it did work, it would cause your terror radius to be on the obsession instead of you, meaning you would get killer instinct on survivors within the fake terror radius, and not yours since you don't have one. An obsession who is smart and realizes this will run away from their teammates so you can't see where they are.
Furtive Chase is also bad on Legion because it decreases your terror radius in a chase, thereby reducing the applicable range for killer instinct while in a chase during frenzy as it is tied directly to the terror radius.
-
While corrupt seems like the logical answer, it can backfire with hex perks, so idk.
-
Your “buff” to tenacity is arguably a nerf if anybody tries to flashlight save you. They would miss because of it.

Not necessarily a survivor *main*, but Pain Resonance/Dead Man's Switch is stupid. Way too effective for how easy it is to use. It blows my mind that there's no cooldown on Scourge Hooks and unlimited charges of boons
Do you think it would be any better if they just replaced the scream with showing the survivor’s aura for a few seconds instead? This way you’re not letting go of the gen and wouldn’t auto-trigger DMS.
The combo never bothered me much since you can prevent the scream easily by just letting go before the hook, but I still see plenty of survivors not doing this and I’ll admit it’s frustrating when your teammates don’t let go/don’t understand that they need to let go, so I wouldn’t necessarily be opposed to tweaking it since it’s not initially super clear how those two perks interact with each other.
I don’t think scourge hooks need a cooldown though.

Wraith getting singled out is now to me. Would you mind explaining why MYC is annoying against Wraith?
He can use it particularly well since he can quickly get away from the hook and can also quickly get back without much warning. Wraith is good at catching survivors off guard and makes it a lot easier to get the instadown by just catching someone out of position, and it’s even better if you run the new scourge hook with it.
Not calling wraith op or anything, it’s just not very fun to go against that perk on him. Normally, I like playing against him (and he’s probably my most played killer, lol).
-
I don’t see why it needs a buff.
-
I wouldn’t mind it for the regular sacrifice animation. Shouldn’t be a thing for moris though.
-
Feng had better get one eventually. I need to see more bunny outfits in my games.
-
Idk I just never get him. They’re both still higher than artist though.

Compared to most killers, yes.
Interesting.
Tbh I think I run into billy more than doctor. And he’s not common either.
-
You see sadako, wraith, and doctor that often?
Sadako’s already mostly dropped off in my games, wraith’s popularity took a big hit when he got nerfed, and doctor would literally be towards the bottom for me.
-
MYC on nurse or wraith (especially if they use FOR with it), if it’s any other killer idc really.
Insidious on anyone.
Outside of that I wouldn’t say any individual killer perk bothers me that much other than noed. I get more annoyed when I see nurse and blight with 4 slowdowns and the player is clearly skilled enough that they don’t need it to win, than I do by any other singular perk besides what I listed. If it’s a lower tier killer then idc.

How long does the effect last for anyway?
4 meters for 5 seconds
-
Just sounds like cheaters with instaheals + speedhacking.
-
I think it would need to be at least a purple addon if it blocked pallets, but it'd be much better than it is now.
-
I’m just tired of seeing the same perks every other match. I go out of my way on survivor to run off-meta perks that aren’t used as often. Harder to do that on killer without losing because at least with survivor even if I’m not running full meta it doesn’t mean my teammates aren’t.
-
It depends, I’ll usually try to get them up but if the killer is just lurking near the slug and never leaving/trying to bait a pickup then I just hide.
I don’t have the patience to do this as killer unless you were toxic or sent me to haddonfield or something. I usually let last survivor escape more often than not anyways so I don’t really care if they find hatch because if they don’t I’m likely just gonna be carrying them to it.
-
I’ve actually been lucky enough to have not ran into anybody doing it.
It needs to go. It’s a cool addon that offers an alternative playstyle if the pig actually plays the game but this just ruins it.
-
7% haste is extremely significant. Don’t underestimate how big that would be especially on slower killers.
Having said that, I do not think it would be a good perk as a hex regardless as it would not necessarily work for very long. But for as long as it stays up, it would be incredibly strong, and probably not fun to play against either.
There’s a reason DT is only 2%.
-
Honestly the biggest weakness of stakeout is that it suddenly becomes a lot less effective against stealth killers (or even just killers with a smaller terror radius). I think it’s actually pretty underrated if you’re not against one of those killers though.
I typically run it with fixated and botany, so it’s easier to sneak around near the killer without being caught (and get tokens if they spend time looking for me near a gen or whatever) and the tokens are more likely to go towards gens rather than healing since healing will be slightly faster (and therefore won’t have as much opportunity to produce a skill check). Since they have an extra 1% bonus, I’d rather put that towards a gen where 1% means more than 1% of healing.
-
Corrupt is a bandaid solution for a core issue the game has. I wish it wasn't this way but it is and the perk is here to stay unless bhvr actually addresses the core problems with the game.
I don't run it every match but I definitely use it a lot.
-
There's no point in changing it. All that would happen is the killer would facecamp waiting for you to use deliverance and then immediately hit you off hook and wait out the DS.
-
I would just give it a cooldown on activating on the same gen but not straight up limit it to once per gen.
Also merciless storm is terrible unless you're playing doctor.

So it is double, then.
Yeah it is. And it should be.

On the PTB there was no penalty for blessing a hex totem so it was added because it was silly that a survivor could have their cake and eat it too. There needed to be a reason for a survivor to opt to cleanse a hex totem rather than bless it. I don’t see why we would need to penalize cleansing hexes as well when it was never like that before boons and would defeat the purpose of the existing blessing penalty.
Also, the existing penalty is actually larger than that - the timings are 14 seconds to cleanse any totem or bless a dull totem, but blessing a hex totem actually takes 28 seconds. The devs said it was 24, but this was incorrect and it has been 28 seconds since the day boons went live.
-
I assume you’re talking about shelter woods? Yeah that map sucks.
-
It’s hard to do anything about it. It’s not always a good idea to attempt escape from the hook, but the option is there and it’s not against the rules to use it, even if a lot of survivors will use it as an alternative to dcing.
-
I think making her 4.4 would just encourage holding W even more than she already does and just make her more clunky to play. It wouldn’t make her more fun at all.
I thought it was weird that she was 4.6 when she came out but after playing as and against her a bit I changed my mind. I think she’s fine as is honestly.

Well then how do you want those offerings to work? they HAVE to do SOMETHING
They’re fine the way they are now.
-
That's a good idea. I like it.
-
Imo, just make it so if 3 survivors have already been killed the last one can always be mori'd (and only if they have been killed, not if any of them escaped, so still weaker than cypress mori technically). I'm not sure I really want basekit moris in any capacity beyond that and the mori offerings are in a decent spot.
With your idea, an ebony mori just becomes a free 5-stack devour after 5 hooks without the exposed that can't be cleansed and that's way too strong.
-
I haven't had one of these in a while. I think the last time I saw someone doing this was during the halloween event. It was a clown who just stood still and swung every 5 seconds.
-
If it follows the normal schedule then it’d be 6 weeks from Sadako’s release, so the PTB would be on Tuesday the 29th and it’d go live on the 19th of April.
