So should Kindred then in that case
-
Killers:
Marry Michael, because he'd be a ride or die husband
Kiss Frank (Legion), particularly if he's wearing his Party Crasher outfit
Kill Deathslinger, because screw that guy and his stupid gun
Survivors:
Marry Felix, because he has a stable career and he's attractive
Kiss Steve, because he's a wholesome cinnamon roll and his voice is cute
Kill Ace, because why not? Who would really miss him?
-
You wonder why people are "dismissive" of you, when you're running around acting like a toddler throwing a tantrum to anything anyone has to say that is counter to your own opinion.
Seems the problem is you, my friend. Nobody was being rude in here but you.

I've found the best thing you can do there is to stay on hook as long as you can to spite the killer.
1.) If he's facecamping, every second you stay on it costs him blood points and pips (as proximity to hooked survivor gets dinged really hard). If he basically stays camping 1 survivor for the full 2 minutes, he'll get 0 points for that medal.
2.) If you stay the full 2 minutes, that's conceivably 3 gens your team does... which again dings his bottom line as killers need to pressure gens.
3.) If you have Kindred - especially if you have Kindred - you are helping your allies immensely by being on hook. They can see each other to heal, they can see where the killer is if he's camping.
4.) You might get rescued underneath his nose by one with Borrowed Time and still be in the game.
You wanna get back at the killer? Make him wait every second for his sacrifice. Sacrificing yourself just gives him what he wants and screws over your other 3 teammates.
This. I never understood people who thought they were getting back at the killer by dying early. The best way to get back at them is to stay on the hook the entirety of it.
-
I'd love for the second stage of the hook to be changed in a way similar to the second stage of Pyramid Head's cages, where you have to hit skill checks to survive. If you don't, your progress goes down, but you don't die immediately.
-
If I'm being completely honest in my experiences, it really fluctuates, but it happens more often late at night than during the day. And it's mostly tunneling, camping not so much.
Idk what it is, but when I have a day off and I play any time before 7-8pm, it never really happens. If I play after 8pm on any given day, it's infuriatingly bad and frequent. Not always me myself, but it does almost always happen to one of the survivors.
Rank 2, I run DS (for this reason, never used to), Spine Chill, Kindred, and Inner Strength

If you want to use a mori without feeling bad just use it on their death hook.
Personally i love photobombing moris but sadly some people want to use it to win games instead of getting style points
This, when I bring moris I just use it in place of a third hook.

?????

I'm sorry, there's just really no realistic way that someone would be stacked that high off of mistaken DCs. Yes, mistakes happen, but the amount of times it takes to get to 48 hours is just excessive and there's a deeper problem if you truly are being DCed against your wishes.
If you really must, first hook suicide exists for a reason.
-
I don't know 100% that it wouldn't make it, but The Thing
I'd love to see The Thing utilize a power where it could take the form of a survivor, functionally acting like the Wraith where the "invisibility" is just the skin of one of the four survivors on the map. Maybe even be able to do certain survivor actions, but with a sabotaging nature instead of a helpful one.
It could reveal itself to attack much in the same way Wraith does as well. Obviously other factors can go into the character's powers and kills, but I think this could be a cool addition. And I'd love a nighttime map of the Antarctica base.

After reading the OPs replies it seems they are just trolling as the (easy)counter to undying+ruin has been explained, yet the OP continues to antagonistically deny every reasonable solution. Maybe they don't realise people are bored of seeing all the braindead "x, z, y needs a nerf" posts. But then again if people clearly put no effort into (learning to play)) the game, why would they put any effort into thinking before posting. Nice bait lol.
This is what I came to say as well. I'm a survivor main who plays killer maybe once or twice a month, and this dude does not speak for all of us survivors at all lol.
His cringy, entitled whining about nerfing this is not a shared sentiment for most of us.
-
If you've experienced this multiple times now, it's your own fault for not waiting on buying a killer you know might have changes made to it

To be fair, he said when another Survivor DCs to give the last guy the Hatch. Which is, without a doubt, a dickmove. Even tho I have not experienced this on a common basis. I think this happened to me once.
This is true, but it still only harms him and gives the survivor an escape that isn't hatch instead. Just an all around lose-lose that doesn't "get" them like he acts like it does
-
This is sadly true, especially after crossplay came
I frequently floated between ranks 1-2 before and got at least 20k points, now I'm lucky to even stay in red ranks and make more than 10k with how quickly my teammates make stupid mistakes and die off
-
Usually I roll my eyes at people whining at a chapter before it's even been out for 24 hours (let alone about a PTB)...
... this time, however, The Blight's power is just bad. Cool concept, TERRIBLE execution. Definitely needs a major rework after PTB
-
Anybody have bios for each of them?
Maybe I'm in the minority but I also look forward to reading those lol
-
I feel this on a deep level.
I've always been solo q and the last few days have been torturous - to the point where I'm dying to brown rank killers because the others die off while I'm barely finishing the first (and only) gen to get done

I think it's because everyone is starting at 0 MMR, and climbing up until it normalizes, painful process tho
This is most likely the reason.
Growing pains, I guess?

How edgy of you lol
-
The auras are terrible for survivors too lol. This isn't some "devs hate killers!!" conspiracy, this has been criticized all across the board.
-
- Cheryl - Silent Hill is one of my favorite franchises
- Laurie - same as above, but with Halloween
- Claudette - my first survivor ever, and the first I unlocked every perk on + a lot of great cosmetics
- Jane - I love her lore and her voice
- Kate
-
The only survivors who really want this deleted are people who can’t play without pallets
-
Depending on the killer and what they prefer, it can waste a LOT of time.
Leatherface: as said, if you jump in right as he's about to go into tantrum mode, this can waste a lot of his time.
Pig: One of the best killers to use this strat on at the base - if she wants to put a RBT on you, she has to go through the locker opening/grab animation, then put your body down, put the RBT on, then pick you back up. Wastes a TON of time.
Nurse: Blink fatigue gives you the opportunity to come out and run again, or Head On her and stun her even further.
Demo: shred is similar to Nurse - gives you the chance to escape.
Oni: if he's preparing to use his Demon Strike, same as above.
Plague: if she has her Corrupt Purge, same as above.
Plus, like everyone else said - forcing DS, or preventing/stalling moris (if the killer insists on using the mori, they have to drop the person and do it), etc

Yeah there are a ton of toxic pricks in this game. Im sorry you want to leave this game because of them, but you do you I guess.
Really, what’s pushed it for me is people actually finding my socials to message me (which I don’t have in my profile) lol. Up until then I could keep a level of patience, but that’s just ridiculous.
-
I'll never understand people who complain about toxic messages.
When I first got into this game, I knew going in that it was a possibility, and turned the chat/messages/friend requests off accordingly. It's really very simple lol
-
My question is, why is Springtrap such a hot topic today? Did I miss something?
(Admittedly, I don't really keep up on much so it's possible)
-
The map really isn't bad, just a bit big lol. Some of you act liked spoiled children.
-
The amount of times I've seen this is baffling
-
Yeah, I haven’t gotten any of them at all so far, and I log in every day.
edit: thanks to @Aven_Fallen, I wasn’t looking in common rarity. Found them!

Farming is super boring
I'd make the same case for 4 sweaty survivors running the same 4 meta perks and playing on autopilot, or sweaty killers slugging everyone/facecamping one by one/insert various other boring strats, that happen in normal matches most of the time
-
Why are people so anti-farming?
It's a nice break from all of the sweaty tryhards on both sides
-
If we get another female licensed killer, I'd love Carrie, with Tommy Ross as survivor
-
I think most people are more interested in unique or cool characters, than what their genders are
That said, I think it'd be fun if they did another chapter with a female killer and male survivor

@scenekiller @Orion I think it's better for the keys to be found exclusively in chests, therefore survivors not having a ton of them in the inventory and literally being able to use them match after match.
@scenekiller Your idea for mori would make them completely useless...I think all killers would prefer to hook a survivor for the 3rd time instead of the long mori animation the killers have, it's more time-effective.
I agree that they would be useless in a practical sense, but they would at least add flavor to the game. The biggest complaint about moris is that they end the game for a survivor too quickly. I'd also make the same argument for using keys before gens are done, though.
-
Change keys to not be found in chests, and moris to only work after 2 hooks. Problem solved.
-
I was wondering the same. I'm a Cheryl main now and I want to use her avatar.
-
I run Inner Strength all the time, so I rely on it heavily.
It's helped me be like an annoying cockroach to the killers because I'm also good at running and escaping them, so they're one-hitting me the entire match but never getting me down lol
-
I agree with this wholeheartedly. I'm a solo survivor - who runs Lithe, Spine Chill, Kindred, and Inner Strength - and I never have any issues because I don't rely on full 4 meta crutch builds to play.

What is the SH Easter egg? I'm excited to hear
This. I got the charm, but didn't know about an easter egg?
-
A killer that hasn't been out for 24 hours (not counting PTB since not everyone does that) is OP
I swear some of you want to just play this game on autopilot and not be challenged at all
-
Killers only retain their bad memories of matches and judge the entire game experience based on it.
Survivors think any new killer or perk that they can't immediately bully is "OP" without actually using more than 2 of their brain cells to learn how to play against it.
Both sides are toxic, and both contribute to the problems in the community, but many like to pretend it's only the opposing side.
Toxicity as "revenge" for having to endure a toxic match is actually not a good thing.
-
It's my favorite map so far, because of how much variance there is in everything.
I've played a few matches on both sides, and it is a bit trickier as killer for sure. But once you learn it as killer, it's very balanced. A lot of places for both sides to take advantage of.

I'm not paying even more money just so I can actually learn the character without wanting to uninstall the game forever.
What system do you use? I have a PS4 and I have an alt account with rank 20-17 for both, that never moves because I rarely play on it. If you purchase the DLC pack through the PS store (as opposed to just using cells in game), it applies to both accounts.
-
I was trying to finish teachables for my survivors, so I only have 500k bps and no challenges left to claim, but at least it's something

When I saw the trailer for pyramid head.i was stoked.hearing the siren.i knew what it was.it took me back lol.wonder how hes gonna work.and wonder how many people will cry when they get taken care of by him.id be afraid to be survivor against him.you couldn't kill him in sh2.hope they bring the siren in with his map
The siren is played at the beginning of the map, similar to how the Halloween theme is played in Haddonfield
-
Quick question for anyone: what time does the DLC typically become available?
I'm usually at work when it's released, but with covid my hours are different, so I'll be home all day and want to download it as soon as I can
-
A good amount of Killers AND survivors are whiny overgrown toddlers who want their side to get meta perks/skills/etc every chapter, and the other side to have no advantages whatsoever
Seriously- I exclusively play survivor but I would never cry over killers getting good perks or buffs, nor would I be dumb enough to think the devs only favor one side
-

I think a better statement is "Moris are brought because of keys"
At least in my case. If I see a key I'm bringing a mori.
This is a narrow viewpoint. The more killers bring moris, the more survivors bring keys, the more killers bring moris, and it just goes on and on.
Both need to be dealt with

5 games in a row. Thats it. Moris are coming. F it.
And then because of your mori, survivors start bringing keys, and the cycle continues lol
