This is fantastic. The only killer I would have been more hyped for was Jason, purely as a horror fanboy. But Pyramid Head brings so much to the table compared to Jason.
-
I can’t believe people are disappointed by this but thought Candyman would bring anything interesting to the table.
This is an awesome chapter concept.
-
The killer already has many more advantages with the egc than survivors do, including perks, being able to identify where each gate is at all times, etc on top of already moving faster than survivors.
It’s fine the way it is.
-
If it really is Candyman, I think this might be the first licensed chapter I’m sitting out on. I’m a massive fan of horror movies, and while Candyman is a good movie, it would be too underwhelming for all of the hype it was built on.
-
I hope it isn’t.
I like Candyman, and I have no qualms against him being in, but he wouldn’t be a surprising reveal in the slightest, nor would many consider him worthy of all the hype around a licensed character.

You... you can see emotions on a tile of text? Holy ######### batman.
I run a company and own cars people dream of, I have no attitude at all bub xD I'm all good, very Zen infact. Seems people are irked by me tho.
Most people can, actually.
And a handful of people see a condescending attitude from your posts. So maybe, when multiple people point something out, some self-reflection is necessary.

Except mostly survivor seem to be the ones that go the extra mile like creating twitter accounts just to harass you. Mostly killers after match are usually silent from my experience had to set everything to private when playing killer then I put it public when I play survivor. Both sides can be toxic but survivors definitely express it more outside the actual match.
Except it happens on both sides, so the original post you quoted was correct
-
“Dear killer bringing a mori to a match,
please don't complain when I bring a key to a match. You bring an item that lets you kill us prematurely for no reason, I bring an item that lets me escape a match where I don’t get to do as much. It’s a fair trade, so please don't complain.”
See how that goes both ways? In fact, killers have the advantage because survivors can’t see when a killer loads up a mori.
The truth is, both keys and moris are trash in their current state and need big nerfs. Neither side is 100% valid in using them.
-
I mean... that's what happens, and it makes sense - it's new content.
Not sure what the big deal is. You've even said you know how this goes and have seen it before, so just deal with it?
-
It sounds like you answered your own question based on the pros and cons - get the doctor DLC

This sort of brainless thought and lack of awareness is why a majority of people want to give up on society
This sort of comment also doesn't make any sense, friend. It's not a big deal, and it will be ok. Breathe.
-
This sort of nonsense is why a majority of killer complaints in this community don't get taken seriously (even the ones that should be)

How can the key holder blow their chance? If you use a key you instantly jump through, and the reason it opens twice is because dun dun dunnnnn not all survivors are SWF so if you just lock out hatch because some random took it, the other random has no control over that.
Love everyone jumping in and being like "muh survivors need all the help" without actually thinking about why it opens multiple times with a little logic.
Finally, a response by someone with a brain
-
How do you actually do this in game? That's what I've been trying to figure out hahaha

Bodyblocking someone in a corner is also a mechanic in the game, you gonna tell me you're okay with that happening to you?
There are no benefits to the receiving end of that action. There are many benefits to multiple people with suiciding in certain situations. Let's not play dumb, they're not the same situation at all.

Deliberately wasting all the pallets to troll your teammates is already a reportable offense, so...
Friend, there are a lot of problems in the world that deserve this kind of attention. There are hobbies you can take up. Maybe a walk, get some fresh air.
If someone suicides, life will go on and it will be ok.
-
I'm sorry, but anyone saying "punish first hook suicides" isn't using their brain.
Basically, you're calling for punishment of the use of all game mechanics in ways you don't like. That just doesn't make any rational sense.
-
I'm a solo survivor main, and I get so frustrated when a LF camps in the basement with Insidious, not realizing that I can see them with Kindred, but none of my other teammates run it so I have to watch as they all get downed
-
There are plenty of ways to play stealthily and still be involved in other aspects
Altruism points are easy if you do safe hook rescues sneaking around and paying attention with a perk like Kindred. Alternatively, you can run a perk like Bond or Empathy and use that to find teammates to heal if they're injured.
You can net 5k boldness points alone with the totems if you destroy all of them - there are also hook sabotages, basement time, etc
And obviously, objective points are the easiest to obtain
About the only thing you'll struggle with are survival points, but if you make it out alive, you secure 5k right there. You can also use obsession perks to try and obtain 1k/1.5k in this category whether you die or survive
Honestly, not trying to sound harsh, but if you aren't getting that many points, it's because you aren't doing enough in some area or another.
-
Update: I try not to use too many "meta" builds or perks because I don't want to be that ######### survivor, but in order to play solo and not want to rip my hair out, I've been running the following:
DS, Kindred, Inner Strength, and Sprint Burst
Needless to say, I've been having a lot better matches even with endless potatoes
-
PS4 survivor is hell right now because your teammates literally have no idea what they’re doing even in purple or red ranks
so I’m not particularly having fun atm

Who said this is a team game?
I rather let my teamate die on hook if I found the hatch
If it's only 2 of us and 3 gens left do you honestly think we'll be able to fix thoose gens without getting killed?
Might as well one of us at least escaping
Also there is nothing wrong with using self-care, some people like playing safe instead of counting others to heal them
Uh, yes? It's happened for me many times. Maybe you just suck at playing?
-
I see Steve and Hawkins all the time
I wish I faced more demos tbh, but I do see them here and there

Everything is done to both sides, Its not about one side or the other.
Exhaustion was added and then changed, DS was changed multiple times, Pallet spawns, Maps windows blocked etc.
We can go on but both sides have had a lot of changes over time and it will keep happening. People will only generally see what affects the side they play though and ignore the others or call them "needed" changes.
This is the only sensible and rational post I've seen on this situation
-
I'm all for Pennywise or Carrie, honestly
-
Unlikely but, as a big fan of the Outlast series, I would absolutely love this
