Really Pyramid head?
I am so really disappointed, I was expecting Pennywise or Jason.
Very disappointed and very annoyed by the false teasing.

My disappointment is immeasurable for this new chapter.
Same. How lame.
The Entity feeds off hope, and enjoys your suffering.
I guess they couldn't get rights to syphon filter.
Good point hahhah at least I can laugh after this major disappointment
B-b-but so iconic.
I think its really cool, better than pennywise or candyman imo
cant please everyone
For a lot of us, myself included, this is such a hype moment
I wanted the Candyman so badly, but that new power sounds ######### amazing (and maybe OP).
What? He looks awesome. Im not disappointed at all 😊
yup it is 2020 the new world order (NWO) established with corona, so time to do more satanic illuminati symbolism of pyramids and crap
I’m glad other people are excited but I’m sooo bummed. I was hoping for.... literally anyone else.
I mean, it's iconic and seems pretty cool, imo.
Iconic i guess in games? they never said...... Mr Mushwin is sort of like eh, huh, why has he got a traffic cone on his head, Pyramid head was too clumply, too slow, carrying a huge weapon but here it looks like he is zooming around the map and another school? once more the disappoinment flows through me.
I can’t believe people are disappointed by this but thought Candyman would bring anything interesting to the table.
This is an awesome chapter concept.
Also i felt resident evil was a little more iconic in game format. Just my opinion.
Yeah, It's so lame...
So pumped 😁
This is a pretty cool update. Give it a chance and see what happens. And as for the Killer's perks... did you not hear how abusable the Survivor perks can be as well? lol. I think they pushed out two unique perk sets that synergize well with existing content.
Resident Evil was more Survival Horror, whilst Silent Hill was more genuine horror.
Can't really get mad at false teasing to be fair. All of it was speculation. None of it went off of any solid evidence
What are the perks for Pyramid Head and the Survivor?
I expected Pennywise too, but he’s the second best thing. And after seeng what he can do and the other bits of the chapter IT’S THE BEST THING.
Well done bhvr.
If they made you happy, someone else would've been disappointed.
Can't please everyone.
Yes but the game is more about surviving then horror as i discussed with a friend of mine earlier, the head of Pyramid head looks terible, it should of been pointed at the front. Just, traffic cone head and in a school, i mentioned about there been someone in silent hill that would of been far better suited.
Yeah, that was super disappointing
It has no movies though.
okay confused resident evil had no movies? it did sorry just a little confused
For me i really Like it, killer and survivor, and the stream was awesome!
You're joking
I don't know man, iconic in horror means much more than this to me.
I saved 1 mill bloodpoints plus lots of missions for nothing. This won't change anything of what I play, blah
I mean, so far his power seems great, to me it sounds like he will be the master of stall.
his perks are pretty lame tho.
^^
Pyramid Head ^^
######### Made a typo and deleted “remarkable” my bad.
Pyramid Head and the Silent Hill franchise are a good fit...but the way this was trumped up we were expecting someone more universally renowned.
The killer looks scary, the map looks creepy and Silent Hill 2 was a pretty good game...but I am disappointed with this reveal.
In a month's time nobody's going to care anyway.
Oh well.
ah i dont know preferred resident evil movies well mostly the first and second to silent hill, i mean i played silent hill back when i was young and crept the (bad word) outta me
Both Silent Hill and Resident Evil have movies. I never watched any of them cause they looked ######### so no idea if pyramid head is in it, but it exists
honestly I was kinda disappointed at first but it looks pretty cool now
If you’re disappointed in this. You’re not a true horror fan
My only disappointment is the perks. Why do they all have to do with being oblivious
I have a very different definition of iconic and milestone.
It could be a fun chapter but this is not iconic to me, it is really different than what I wanted
I am very excited about this, I didn't really think of pyramid head being the new killer because of how slow he is but they made him faster for the dbd game. I'm so fine with getting silent hill, I know i would have been dissappointed if it was either Candyman or Jason. I was mostly rooting for xenomorph killer but il take pyramid head since I'm a fan of silent hill :) I know a couple of friends who will start playing dead by daylight soon and all of them know silent hill and are very hyped about the news. Was a nice stream.
That is so sad. You get a new killer, survivor and a map and you still complain, theres no hope for you
Honestly nothing sounded more generic and cookie-cutter than Jason. Iconic? Sure. Interesting or unique? Not at all. He's just another big hack-slashy guy like Myers and Trapper. I was hoping for anybody but Jason. I don't even play Silent Hill but I'm hyped as hell for this.
I mean if this had not been promoted as some iconic horror classic I wouldn't be as disappointed. I was expecting something of Alien/Jason/Pennywise stature. Silent Hill is not classic, iconic, or in any way a landmark in the horror genre.
But the map looks cool and the killer looks like fun.
Disappointed. Too much hype for this killer
I'll have what you're having man. lol. Silent Hill is an incredibly popular multi-media franchise, and the only reason I would guess that you don't perceive it in the same league as the other ones you listed is because you are basing your judgement based on whichever movies were played the most on cable tv growing up.
I've only vaguely heard stuff about silent hill, but this is SUPER cool. I think you atleast have to give it credit where credit is due. This is the "Jason" of videogame horror.
Exactly! I honestly didn't think this was possible.
