  • I couldnt care less if hex totems couldnt be blessed id just cleanse it instead anyway. It makes 0 difference to me which one i do to the hex; either way its gone.

Nerf it to 1 time use, no1 will bother using them as it wastes about 1.5 seconds for the killer to snuff it out and everyone just continues running the same perks as always. Good shout.

  • I cant play PTB build but ive tried to argue this point to all the killers crying about it, its a time waste, its not comparable to a hex which is up at the start, they work in different ways.

Yes you can bless a totem but you also have to waste time finding, getting to it and blessing it. Hex totems work by not even going out of the way of doing the killers objective- chasing off gens to make ruin work and get value and hitting/hooking survivors to get the value from others.

If people want the meta perks to change well heres two which could make people replace the same 4/5 perk meta. Nerf it to one time use and no one would run it and we continue with the same stale perks.

Lucky break was worth running at PTB change, people cried and at reduced 60s use nobody runs it because its pointless, youre lucky to get 1 chase use out of it. At the original 90s or whatever it was it had some value and it would have replaced someones BT, DH, Adrenline etc and it would have run out by mid game and the survivor would have been running 1 meta perk permanently down - but no killers saw it like that, they just complained, got it nerfed and then we go back to the same old meta.

I cant even name 1 new perk that a survivor has had in the past year that has become worth running; the best is probably blast mine which you see a bit now. Killers have had undying, lethal pursuer, pin heads ones are pretty decent.... either way theres a lot more viable choices for a killer to pick and barely any for survivors.

Look, we all know SWF 4 man on comms makes everything crap for the killer, but even as a 2 man which us what i mostly play we escape maybe 30% of the games we play (and thats any survivor not as 4).

The imbalance isnt from perks and what they do or how meta they are, its from 4 man running them coordinated.

  • As if you should be held hostsge or punished for not wanting to play a game for whatever reason. No ones paying me to stay in a game, out of principal i can and i will do what i want for a reason, its MY time. I know the game i signed up to play, if my team mate wants to kill on first hook sure its annoying and i think why but who the hell am i to dictate how they spend their time, i gave up mine knowing this can happen, if i dont like it that much i can just choose not to play.

It is used often because the pool of strong Survivor-Perks is so small. And especially Exhaustion Perks are way too situational for the most part. Killers wanted Balanced Landing nerfed, Devs nerfed it and now Killers are surprised that so many Survivors are using Dead Hard. Guess what, this happens when you reduce the number of strong Survivor Perks.

And if the Devs nerf DH at some point, we will see many Sprint Bursts and Killers complaining about Sprint Burst, because SUDDENLY with great surprise, everyone will run Sprint Burst.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2511683#Comment_2511683

This idea is really bad. You should be totally free in what you want to play and not be limited by things like others running the same Perks.

Exactly. Killers want a different meta - they bring out boon totems which are strong and could replace up to 2 meta perk slots, they also mean survivors spend time off gens and can be countered by killers with a 1 second animation. Killers want it nerfed like lucky break was after PTB and then it becomes pointless in running again so the meta NEVER CHANGES.

'Second chance' perks are necessary. Survivors are up against a killer which is faster, they have finite resources such as pallets and the killers have bloodlust, escape rates are not equal to sacrifice rates even WITH the game in its current state so limiting exhaustion perks further is just going to make the game even more unbalanced.

We all know the real balancing issue for almost everything is comms. A 4 man has the advantage of pure efficiency, i lose in KWF all the time becauze theyre just too efficient and im.not good enough to deal with it but thats on me as frustrating as it is!

Even a 2 man on comms and even a 3 (which i play as mostly) gives us much less than a 50% escape rate of 2 or 3 of us.

4 man teams are the biggest imbalance not perks and their attributes.

  • Almost every killer can mind game by hiding the red stain and doubling back etc.

The idea behind a mind game is that it provides a chance to outplay eachother but have a fair chance.

They specifically wanted to get rid of spirits stand still 'mind game' because its not interactive at all.

She will be fine, she has some fun addons like blocking the windows etc. And other killers without her arsenal can mindgame just fine!

Still viable easily, she isnt dead yet, just needs to be more thought out than just listening or standing still.

  • @GoshJosh said:

Mechanically, it was not thought out. If I understand it correctly, a mod confirmed you cannot cleanse blessed totems. So if Ruin is blessed by a teammate, I just have to deal with it? And I can’t even cleanse it for Inner Strength or for Counterforce?

Explain to me the logic here.

I guess thats no more a problem though than people bringing maps or small game etc and blitzing totems, its another reason why it can work in a killers favour!

  • Killers cry about the meta build. A new meta comes to try and change it up that has more counter than DH and the other perks, theyre still not happy. If they nerf relighting them and other things too much, you change nothing, people just wont bring them and the game goes back to being stale.

There may be some rework or tidying up doing WAY after a short PTB, but at least for 1 second of time to destroy the boon totem the killer has eliminated a strong perk- perhaps even 2 perks that means that survivor isnt now bringing DH or BT or Adrenaline or iron will or Unbrekable or DS.

The survivors now have a choice and what to bring, i just think we should give it more practical time before we jump to conclusions on how broken it is. PTB isnt accurate and it reflects only a small pop of the players.

Boons are probably broken for a strong SWF, but we all know everything is anyway!

  • If a survivor finds a hex totem and blesses it and it takes the same time to bless and cleanse then its no different to them cleansing it to get rid of the hex. Im fairly confident that if its a hex like haunted or retribution it will still activate the hex as if it was cleansed. Therefore this shouldnt be an issue.

Yes it will be an additinal side objective for the killer but it will also be a side objective for the survivor so time will be wasted off gens and chases from both sides. The other trade off will be is it worth destroying and is it worth reblessing. This is gonna depend on the killer, the usefullnes of the perks etc.

We wont get the full picture til we see how limited or usefull the perks are. Even if its a strong perk, it may be really worth it for a killee to remove a survivors perk from the game, essentially making a survivor/s running a game with only 3 perks (having replaced a meta 1 too) could be really advantageous.

  • I dont think theres anything to suggest a boon totem will be re-blessable by the same survivor.

If its like a hex the survivor will get a fairly decent perk but the killer will have an option to remove a perk the survivor has from the game permanently. It wouldnt make sense for the perk to be reusable as hex perks cant be relit either.

The risk reward for killer should be that they can make a survivor run with 1 perk down, on top of that the likely 4/5 perk meta should change if the boons are decent but at least now the killers may be able to remove a meta perk from the game. I actually see potential for this to break the meta builds and potentially give the option for killers to make survivors play with only 3 perks if they destroy the boons which could be big.

Maybe the boons will be area based effects too which force players to be in certain places to receive their benefit etc. Which could also slow down the game etc.

Lets just wait and see how it goes!

  • Legion. The power behind him is just boring to go against, not game changing for either side tbh. It just makes a game go very fast (no one heals) or very slow (everyone heals).

Id rather they had a more impactful power or something that doesnt involve sitting mending for half the game haha

  • Its a aide objective for a killer which i get is another thing to worry about BUT the payoff could be worth it if it removes a survivor perk from the game. We will have to see how it pans out but i imagine its something you do if you see it maybe but not necessarily go looking for.

  • I dont get the arguement of its 4 people vs 1.... we know that. Its that for a reason, 3 vs 1 in almost every game. The killer is a stronger, faster entity. Imagine it 4v 4 there would be no game

  • DH doesnt need a nerf. It might 'supress damage' but it gives you next to no distance. It has plus and minus it just feels bad to killers cuz you feel cheated from a hit. Its situational, it can be baited, it is used a lot but again so are the meta builds for killers with ruin, pop, undying etc.

If the question is more of changing the meta then there needs to be better viable perks for both sides to spice it up a bit. Lucky break had the potential for example but when they nerfed it it became a waste of a perk slot so no meta changed.

Id rather see strong/viable new perks added to both sides at the same time so we can have the chance for more random builds.

Ideally they should go back to making perks that counter eachother when they make a killer and survivor dlc. Now it feels out of sync a bit so each side is playing catch up.

  • Lots of killers are anti loop killers so getting distance is often the best play.

Side note- I wish people would stop calling things 'hold w or press e' to win. Everything you do as killer or survivor is bound to a key. Its so stupid. Its like saying to a killer press m1 to win when theyre an m1 killer. Its so asinine.

  • Same in my lobby on PS5 too!

Playing with friends so can confirm theyre not playing with those skins and as reported in game theyre wearing their actual outfits so the bug is limited to when in the lobby.

Occurs everytime and changes with whatever i change my outfit to.

  • Dead dawg is alright but i dont like midwhich - love the environment but not the rectangle map, its too simple imo.

    Hawkins can be ok though

  • To be fair though PH can camp a hook the same and just hold his power aimed at the hook and you cant do much without BT for the hooked survivor

  • Does anyone know why when the devs made pyramid head they made it so if he tries to camp the cages they respawn with the survivor in a new location?

Part of me feels like it was an acknowledgement that they know in general**** camping is crap for all players and the killer (i know sometimes its unavoidable or strategic in the late game or at 3 gen etc).

Fortunately camping isnt in every game, if it was the game would simply die off cuz for most players it would be a 25% chance of queueing into a dead game where you sit on a hook for 2 minutes.

I think something like pyramids cages spawning to a new location if camping happens would work but it would have to be more complex so that if its at 1 gen left or 2 gens left the time for the hook to respawn location either was much longer than early game or didnt happen at all for example so that if theres a 3 gen and a survivor is hooked there they dont get punished for that.

Its just an idea, but things that make gameplay/interaction non existant for almost all the players should be addressed and buffs put in place if needs be

  • Arguing any perk is the counter is not relevant because its down to luck. You would need about 6-8 perk slots to counter everything. Counter play should be something thats not based on the luck of if you picked the correct perk to match the killer.

They can help, but they cant be relied upon. Do you take DS cuz of tunneling or small game cuz of noed, an exhaustion perk, vault speed, spine chill, BT, Unbreakable... this all comes down to luck of what build you choose so its not a consistent counterplay that you can just say 'do it'.

That said wraith with silent bell is hard to counter compared to the bell sound but like people said you can hear his snarls although with his speed boost it isnt much help unless youre lucky enough to be at a strong pallet/loop. It is an iri add on though for that reason.

  • Maybe people are DCing more because theyre getting sick and frustrated with a game that is never fixed. Every update brings new or resurfaces old bugs.

This was excusable when dbd was an indie low pop game, it feels like theyve tried to keep that atmosphere of a mom and pop operation but you cant do that anymore since the game has grown like it has.

Dont get me wrong even big studios release broken and bugged games but at least its fixed in a year or two like EA games with battlefront 2 etc.

DCing is linked to frustration (whether justified or not), people are obviously just getting frustrated more than usual for whatever reason both as both killef and survivor

  • The MMR is broken. Simple as. Even if we play as a 4 man, 2 of us have got almost no hours and the game still puts rank 1 killers who are insanely good. We get 1 gen done maybe 2 at best.

The MMR is awful at figuring out an average of whatever its measuring. Even before when it was done by rank the diffences between a rank 1 and a rank 4 even could be massive.

Having even one team mate who is not good makes going against a decent killer almost impossible.

  • Out of about 100 games as a survivor i see maybe 2 keys ever being brought into game at most.

Most people dont even like to bring them in. I even see more moris (still rare) than keys.

  • All of my soloQ games, well around 75% have been 4k kills. Every game has always had a iri rank 1/2 against 2 red rank and 2 silver or bronze or grey. It is literally like having 3 players only against an experienced killer.

The MMR is totally rubbish since live in my experience over the past few days

  • Yup, since the testing MMR which i found good this live version is awful from survivor side.

Always seems to be a mix of 2 red ranks with 2 silver against a rank 1 red killer.

I know rank isnt directly tied to it but the disparity between silver and red is quite large. I dont know what BHVR has done but their 'average' level doesnt work. Having even one potato makes you effectivly a 3 man team which is almost always a 4k loss so far in the games ive had playing soloQ.

I just played 5 games and 3 of them were the same rank 1 blight who got a 4k everytime and was matched every time with 2 red and 2 silver- if the MMR is working why would i get the same setup so many times even though everytime was a total loss (2 gens done max in each of these games).

Total rubbish and have to say im really disappointed in the live version.

Has anyone else only been getting the same killers too? Seems to be so fad only blight , pin head and nemesis in every game. Had 1 spirit and 1 wraith and an afk bubba out of about 30 games since yesterday

  • For the people saying the escape rate remains the same pre and post nerf, you’re not proving that tunneling or camping hasn’t increased, you’re proving that DS didn’t need a change to affect kill/escape rates and that it was indeed always a rubbish perk to counter these play styles

  • Pretty simple, there’s basically no T or L walls except for a couple areas downstairs. There’s barely anywhere to window vault really.

Its annoying for killer but if you get through the pallets quite quickly it’s pretty much dead zoned everywhere

  • It’s a lot harder to play on console. Just turning round to look at the killer on max sensitivity takes about 1 second each way to look there and back…. Console players are never going to be on par with PC due to the limitations of thumb sticks and lack of customisable options.

  • I really struggle to go against a nurse. I can make some plays and learn against someone who’s still learning but if they’re good I find I can’t juke or do much against them.

I want to get good against a decent nurse but it’s hard when you’re downed 🤪

  • A good nurse is boring as hell personally. Losing line of sight and double back never really works for me on console at least.- they have to be really average/bad for me to be able to juke them.

Spirit is a close second but only cuz it’s 50/50, but I think that 50/50 is a better chance than against most decent nurses tbh!

3rd most annoying would be oni with infectious 😂

  • There is no way to properly counter tunnelling especially in SoloQ where you can’t coordinate.

Im tired of hearing people who play survivor 25% of the time saying it doesn’t happen that much or that the anti tunneling perks are strong. If you’re properly being tunneling they’re not. 😂

  • We’ve had so called anti tunnel perks out forever. They don’t work. If they did, people wouldn’t complain about tunneling and camping still.

Tunneling and camping at 5 gens on the 1st hook is not how the game is designed otherwise why bother with any loops or anything cuz they’ll never get used. The Devs have just accepted that they don’t actually know what to do to properly discourage it.

Giving a killer a safety pip with 2k isn’t discouraging and that’s worst case scenario.

I totally agree that this stems from killers having no confidence to actually try and play the game with chase interactions and gen control so surely that is where the devs should start looking to fix first.

I think everyone can agree once some gens pop, when there’s end game or 2 survivors downed together there is a genuine strategic reason to camp that area and there should be no reason for complaints from survivors!

Nobody can or needs to argue on whether it’s allowed or valid as clearly both the strategies are, BUT it is boring and i would argue if the games mechanic was that you actually HAD to camp a hook this game wouldn’t exist for long. The only reason it’s not destroyed the game is because it’s not every match.

The good news is until it becomes every other game which is played this way then the game should survive, but the devs do need to look at how they can change the META for both survivor And killer- adding a band aid perk like BT or DS doesn’t help and never will.

On a side note it’s interesting that with Pyramid heads cage of atonement they made it so if he camps it then it spawns somewhere else - I don’t really know why they’d introduce that mechanic if deep down they thought camping was good or healthy for the game? - just a thought?

  • @CluelessWanderer said:

Solo queue is incredibly difficult atm. I dropped from Rank 2-3 to Rank 6-7 by camping/tunneling Killers in the last week alone. It seems SWF and Killers keep getting buffed so the two respective groups are balanced, but Solo survivors are never considered in anything.

If a Killer finds you in a locker and you've left no scratchmarks, no disrespect intended, but it's nothing supernatural. The Killer most likely heard the squeak of the locker doors. If it is just uncanny that they are finding you, I'd consider it an aura reading hack rather than a witch, yanno?

Glad it’s not only me! You can’t mention the huge increase in camping and tunneling here tho cuz apparently it doesn’t exist! 🙄

  • the Perks is fine but totally broken on nurse.

Devs seem to be extremely poor at thinking of the whole game and all killers when designing perks!

  • There’s no point even taking about camping and tunneling. Apparently to killer mains (which is what this forum is mostly full of), doing gens with no chase interaction is a good trade off for a camping killer. - wow what a fun game concept. Don’t interact with the killer just do gens 😂

Like people have said countless times, DS does nothing. They’ve just released the escape rates of old vs new DS and both sat at 49%…. Showing that old DS didn’t do anything to help survivors escape by ‘being invincible’ for 1 minute… nor did it help with not being tunnelled out the game before or now.

It was just a second chance perk originally with a 5 second stun in the trade off for being 1 time use compared to exhaustion perks which have no stun but are multiple use.

All you will get is the same argument that it’s a valid strategy…. No one is or should be arguing that. The argument should be if this is becoming the norm (which it seems to be getting worse and worse) don’t you think people will leave the game in droves out of boredom on both sides??

If survivors had a way to be stealthy and complete gens without ever coming into contact with a killer it’d be the exactly same concept- valid? - sure, but so boring people will stop playing because there’s no interaction.

  • You can argue the ‘only gaming experience I have to care about is my own’ but the developers do have to care about the game experience for everyone. When hard tunnelling/camping effectively makes the game pointless for at least 1 survivor just sitting on a hook - and potentially 3 survivors doing nothing but gens then there is a big problem.

Yes, they’re strategies, yes it’s not punished or can be called valid. But if it becomes the main go to strategy which is the direction it feels it’s heading then in terms of game health people will start leaving the game.

Imagine if the game mechanic was that you had to camp a survivor or tunnel, I can guarantee you nobody would play this game for long because with long matchmaking and a 25% chance of being the first hook you would spend 1 hour playing maybe 2-3 games being bored out your head.

Im not arguing whether it’s a valid strategy, but if 75%+ of the games were like this I wouldn’t play DBD cuz it would be boring. It’s about the health of the game.

The developers have the problem to try and address and fix and that means a change in the meta or mechanics of the game to give killers another way to win- although honestly really great killers don’t need to camp or tunnel right at the start of a game!

  • The stats of anything just show that the change wasn’t needed.

The escape rate was the same even with ‘60s of invincibility) - ever heard of slugging or lunging at the person on a gen!? 😂

  • @Power_Guy said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2199798#Comment_2199798

Ignoring the fact that I called it about someone claiming removing Killer agency is 'for the health of the game', let's look at the 'solutions' to camping:

    Make the hook teleport away.

Let's imagine you chased someone, and 2-3 gens popped in that first chase. You now hook that person...and the hook teleports across the map. Now, Survivors are spread out, so it's impossible for the hook to appear far away from the Killer AND every Survivor. So it spawns near a Survivor. They're unhooked in the space of 10 seconds, and both working on a gen together. Before the Killer can even walk across the map.

There goes any gen pressure from having a hooked Survivor. Or, even worse; the unhook came as final gen popped. Or, even WORSE; this garbage idea happens in Endgame Collapse, denying the Killer even 1 Kill. Because he can't stay near the one Survivor he caught, when he as no other goal except 'Get a kill' at this point. Gens are done, gate is open. He got a down, and the hook sods off.

    Garbage idea.

A 'No Killer Zone' Around the Hook.

Ignoring that this zone would cut off certain L-Walls and Jungle Gyms, giving Survivors infinite loops if a hooked Survivor were in such a place, it would also allow Survivors to sit under a hooked Survivor a heal before unhooking them.

But the Zone goes away if a Survivor is near the hook! Ok, then Killers would just camp outside the zone, and enter the moment Survivors went for an unhook. Still 'camping'.

    Also a trash idea.

    Make the Killer lose BP!

If this is an idea anyone agrees with; their whole reasoning behind 'the health of the game' is a bald-faced lie.

On top of that; Survivors would circle the hook to force BP drain.

    Trash idea.

Cap the Killer's emblems if he stays near the hook!

    See 'Lose BP' above.

    Also a trash idea.

Slow the Struggle Meter when a Killer is nearby.

Survivors already abused this one, but here we go again. A Survivor would circle the hook, forcing a slowed Struggle Meter.

And if it turned off 'if a Survivor is nearby', they would just stay 50 meters out, in opposite directions. This would force the Killer to either camp the hook (because 2 Survivors are there), or make him walk away, knowingly giving up an unhook. Because Survivors are too far away to start a chase. And 1 is doing gens while 2 camp outside the chase radius.

    Trash idea.

See why camping is allowed? Because every idea would be abuseable or outright spitefully bad, and all would be even worse for the 'health of the game'.

You can tell by how the game is still going strong after 5 years with 'campers' and 'tunnelers'. Clearly an accepted tactic meant to help Killers do their goal is not going to kill the game.

All Survivors who whine and snivel about 'camping' want is easy unhooks and forced plays meant to shackle Killers into sub-optimal play styles so they can win easy. When they say 'It's for the health of the game', what they mean is 'I don't want to play if I can't win every time. Please remove Killer agency'.

So you’d argue that if the game actually required you to hook and camp let’s say - do you really think the game would stay alive?

I don’t think it would… if it was 75-90% of my games where all I could do was do gens or be the one camped on the hook i wouldn’t play it. Even with how it’s got to now at around 50% of games being played like this I’m playing around half the number of hours in a day I used to because it’s just so boring. I know I’m not alone in this!

Again, you’re missing my point, for whatever reason tunnelling and camping is becoming the GO TO strategy and it’s making it extremely boring as a game. Keep validating it and it’s health for the game and soon the game won’t be viable anymore

  • Honestly there’s no point arguing about tunnelling and camping on these forums. The people who don’t see it don’t play enough survivor to make that judgement cuz everyone I know has seen a HUGE increase in it. It is about 50% of games at least.- and I mean hard camping or tunnelling

I keep trying to make the point it doesn’t matter if it’s a ‘valid strategy’ or not! The argument is that it’s so unhealthy for the game because the killer does nothing, at least 1 survivor does nothing and on soloQ usually 2-3 survivors get to do nothing.

It means there’s no chases, no mind games, no interactions - basically no game. - keep arguing ‘it’s a valid strategy’ and validating it and people will stop playing the game because it’s boring. - THIS is what should concern players on both sides if they want the game to survive!

  • When it’s a good nurse I think there’s not even a 50/50 like there is with spirit most of the time.

On PlayStation I find it almost impossible to mind game a nurse with breaking LoS or doubling back etc. They just always know where to go and make the hit.

Spirit just seems worse I think cuz generally she’s easier and therefore used more often so the games are more prevalent.

I think people can accept nurses being a pain to go against because there’s objectively a fair bit more skill to master her

  • @TragicSolitude said:

I'm on PS4, I can't see any cool stats, no one can see how many hours of my life I've wasted spent on this game. Cosmetics and charms to show off accomplishments would be really cool.

It'd also be nice if we console players could see our stats.

if you get to upgrade to a ps5 you can see your hours played on all games :)

  • If a killer is determined to tunnel 100% then there is nothing you can do especially because bloodlust exists.

Some Perks can help try to persuade them to give up on the tunnel but that’s all.

  • People are missing the point. If everyone just starts using camping and tunnelling as their main strategy this game will die VERY quickly.

It just makes the game incredibly boring for the majority of players who are maybe in a duo or SoloQ.

it’s not about whether it’s fair or legitimate or anything like that… it’s more that if it continues to increase in the direction it’s going then people will stop playing the game…. Because it’s basically a coin flip on whether you’re the lucky or unlucky one who actually gets to do anything all game or just stay on a hook - add the queue times and you could be playing 1 enjoyable game every 30 minutes! - that’s not sustainable.

  • It’s very simple. The game is becoming more and more boring with a 3 v1 due to camping/tunnelling - usually both.

Ive only had the game a year, I loved it with its flaws but for whatever reason the game is now 10 x worse for this ‘valid strategy’.

Call it what you want, I’m pretty much at the point where I’m ready to call it quits as for the past few weeks playing as a duo every game has felt dead with the same ‘valid strategy’ used for 50-75% of all games.

Ive bought around 5 friends into the game around the same time and the two of us who play the most are at the same point of despair at how poor the game is going in the playstyle that’s encouraged.

Toxic survivors are annoying, they annoy the hell out of me when I play killer but I just ignore them and go try to kill someone else! But when you’re playing survivor if someone’s tunnelled out and camped the game is boring for everyone either as a 4K at 3-4 gens or a 3 man escape with no interaction for 3 players.

The biggest injustice is the killer gets to dictate the entire game by choosing to camp or tunnel and the survivors are left with no game at all.

If youre not interested in having fun and chasing and outplaying then why even bother playing the game.

Im not totally against tactical camping or tunnelling when you’ve got a 3 gen to protect or two survivors downed/hooked near eachother. It’s the people who go into a game with the full intent of just standing in a spot.

I honestly think the ONLY way you may ever have some way to fix it would be to have a Bloodpoints reduction show up every 10 seconds for -200BP or something so the killer actually is discouraged. I know emblem status loses some score but most people don’t care about that- they can just get other emblems up and still pip - and who really cares about rank anyway!

Its a shame but I genuinely think this game is on its way out now. Was hyped for the RE8 chapter and have bought everything else possible but I don’t think there’s any point in the future. Might as well just have all the same blank canvas killer when so many are just doing the same thing every game.

  • Bloodlust exists. You can’t indefinitely evade a mildly competent killer. What’s the point of these forums it’s just full of 90% killer mains with 1 shared opinion

  • Simple. Make killer get a minus - Bloodpoints score while they’re camping every 10-20s. They don’t see their emblem score decrease and aren’t usually bothered by rank. BP would discourage it more.

Add more perks that encourage the killer to leave the hook and not return. Like devour hope or make your choice

  • 45 seconds is rubbish. You lose 30 at best and if you’re lucky you get one more 15 second use out of it. I’d say 75% of games by the time you can get a heal off you only get 1 use out of it.

Its genuinely not really worth running at 45s. 60 would maybe be alright

  • It’s an easy fix they just need to punish face camping by reducing blood points instead of emblem status. If people watch -200 BP disappearing every 20 seconds for face camping they might actually think to leave the hook. Unfortunately most people either don’t care about losing emblem points or they don’t even realise face camping reduces them so the continue to do it.

  • Don’t you need cannibal up to rank 30+ to get BBQ as a teachable? Not rank 10

  • Funny how against almost all games the streamers could get their merciless grand master adept within 1-3 games max (huge amount on the first try). I thought killer would have no chance since survivors are so strong 😂

    doesn’t make any sense

  • The fact that you have to even mention the homosexual relationships when the game has heterosexual relationships In the lore and no-one questioned why the lore mentioned these is exactly why representation is still needed.
