Sure but that nice little conversation will happen in the SHADOW REALM over a children's card game.
The shadow real eh???
Ok, challenge accepted. What children's card game will it be?

Like both get transported into a trial ground by the Entity with the survivor 20m ahead. Can they loop the killer for them to reach the visible hatch or do they lose it all?
I don't know, how it could be implemented, but it would be better than an Rng-based boredom fest in my opinion

You mean ability to self get on her feet? I'd rather a mechanic come that lets survivors fight end game slugging. Suicide is just helping the killer, even if they want that 4k for their ego.
Everyone wants to be able to suicide in this game. Why are we playing again?
4k for ego....
The 4k is the best outcome for the killer role and has a scoring event.
Why do we still blame players for wanting to achieve that?

If I have 1 hour to play games, and there are 15min left, I would like to start another match than another 5min laying on the ground.
Jake died, Clau on hook is close to death. If there are Dwight and Meg left and Meg being slugged for 45sec (only start counting the time after moment Clau died), Meg gain ability to self kill.
Im sorry, but that's online games for you. You have to accept that there are multiple people with different opinions.
-
The problem is the hatch.
Due to its Rng-aspect, it's more reliable to slug.
I would much prefer a more exciting end of the match for the killer. Like a chase or something like that.

Dredge is one of the best designed killers in my opinion.
Great base power. Good antiloop with counterplay. Nice addons with strong and different effects that still do t transform the killer too much. Cool sound- and graphic design.
Dredge has a fixed spot in my regular rotation. Awesome killer.
I can understand though that nightfall can be kind of a hustle for some players. But I think the darkness is very immersive and scary. I like to play against it.

Well I thought so at first. But your "just a little reminder that this perk is not as good as some people claim it would be" comment made me a bit unsure what you were trying to say
Some people here and on youtube make this perks seem like a "just slap on - insane value" - kind of perk. This is not the case, as it doesn't work that well on a bunch of killers. Freddy being the extreme example.

The usual Amazon Prime 400k bloodpoints code you can redeem, as well as the code in the bottom of the latest DBD ‘Haunted by Daylight’ email newsletter for 100k bloodpoints
Haven't checked that one. Have to look at my mails.
I will answer if it works or not.
-
As far is I know. Leaning is still server sided. This makes the leaning with Ghostface extremely frustrating in certain situations.
The reveal mechanic has always been flawed from what I can remember.
It has bee tried a lot to fix it but it either got worse or remained horrible.

What codes???

Unlike most people on the forums, I mostly play the side I complain about. Since everyone is so desperate to defend their favorite broken killer, I'll leave some sugesstions.
Nurses lunge range is reduced by 75%. This would make the Nurse have to be more accurate, and would make doding easier.
Nurses fatigue is increased to 1.5 second per blink. This would allow you to get away easier, even after a hit.
Nurse cannot blink through pallets. This would require her to think about whats in her way, instead of just blinking & winning.
Nurses blinks recharge every 4 seconds.
These changes wouldn't "gut" her, but would make her playable against.
I will respond to some of the posts here:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3561739#Comment_3561739
Personally, I would love to see SWF gutted, but it can't be... it would massively reduce the playerbase.
Map-wide Bond along with kindered, then nerf survivors from there? Of course killers like Nurse, Blight would have to be slightly toned down before this. Maybe even basekit map-wide deadlock...
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3561725#Comment_3561725
Yep, Nurse requires much less skill than Blight, Wesker, and even Ghost face, but still preforms better than them.
When stunned, the nurse loses all her charges and has to reload them.
Therefore enabling pallet play and making ds actually usable against her.
-
She was nerfed not too long ago. Thank God there is no starstruck nurse anymore.
But yeah. Nurse theoretically has no counterplay. If she plays it right, you lose.
In my opinion, she needs a full rework because her power is severely outdated.
She released at a very different time.
-
Thank you very much.
The hatch looks nice. I'll combine it with the Christmas hatch xD
-
What are the rewards???
Haven't been able to claim them yet.

Dude, I play on console... I'm crap... and yet Xeno hasn't been at all strong since their nerf back to 1.2 m/s cause of the hitbox bug.
Its a shame we've never seen Xeno working properly to know if 1.2 or 2.0 is the right speed. I was one shouting how busted Xeno was originally, and it was, cause of the bug that meant it didn't slow down even if it missed.
One thing Xeno did do though when it was riding high was force me to learn to loop, I couldn't just get to the other side, throw a pallet, be safe and run to the next pallet. I had to learn to actually use fakes against the Xeno, and it's made me waaaaay better at the game.
It was still dumb, cause even if I managed to fake her, she just ran through pallets as she missed and hit me anyway... but since the nerf and hit box bug, I punish Xenos really hard, to the point I feel bad.
Xeno with fixed hit boxes is fine my dude, and when you learn to deal with it... tbh Xeno is one of the most fun to face killers in the game... right up there with Executioner... with the same problem that if they tunnel, its bloody annoying... but that's the same regardless of killer.
Learning the game?!!!????
As survivor?!!?????
Outrageous xD

Its defo not too strong but it is in the top if not the best tracking perk.
And tracking perks are very good on?
The stronger killers. Because they have enough lethality to end chases quickly. Therefore their problem is more eto find survivors and getting in chases fast.
On weaker killers, info is heavily outclassed by slowdown- and chase related perks.

actually there is. You can mindgame (even in chase) with your teleport for pretty good result.
Sure. Freddy is still underwhelming and is one of the weakest killers in game. But it does not mean he has no power at all
Freddy pretty much is the worst killer in the game. After the trapper-buffs im almost certain of it.
His "power" if you can consider it a power, makes survivors oblivious while he still has a lullaby. The teleport takes a ton of time and even if you fake it, you have a cooldown for that.
Dream pallets make you the worst killer in the game period.
Snares are awful as well. Especially with MfT going around right now.
His "power" isnt there at the start and thanks to adrenaline it also isnt there at the end.
All killers can push survivors into scenarios where they struggle. Except Freddy.
He has no early game, no mid game and no end game either. His kill rate presumably comes from soloq survivors that dont know how to loop an m1 killer.
Sorry to disappoint.
This doesnt mean hes an instant loss, as you can see by my screenshot. Freddy does have his upsides. That being: Hes small and has dark clothing, which is awesome for mindgames and is very quiet. But even in that regard, Pig is straight up better.

Hes an m1 killer. Theres not much more to him.

As @MikeStev already mentioned, it's anti FACE camp. Nobody said that camping would go away. Its only to punish the most egregious situations. (Bubba grabbing his tent)
Big maps are literally one of the biggest problems of dbd. Making them smaller is a step in the right direction.
-
It's every survivor for me.
-
@Nazzzak said:
Yeah I wouldn't bother using it on Freddy lol he doesn't have a terror radius in the dream world, so UW won't work then, and most survivors don't bother getting out of their dream state because there's no point (Freddy still has a lullaby so you know when he's around).
That's the point

Lets see here just off the top of my head right now..
Bloodlust, Aura/screaming perks to find hidden survivors, nerfing healing and medkits, Anti loop killer powers, more teleporting killers that can travel across the entire map in a second.. Instant down killers.. Killers with built in slow down mechanics.. Reworking of maps to make them smaller with weaker pallets and tiles while also adding larger dead zones...
Update 6.1 in general with the sole goal of inflating kill rates.. Nerfing Prove Thyself, Iron Will, D.S, D.H, and BNP... Probably so much more that I'm forgetting right now too...
There has been a lot of Killer hand holding going on for a while and they still cry and come here to complain that survivors have it so good and every single team they face are just super SWFs so ALL survivors need to be nerfed into oblivion...
Bet money after they get what they want they will turn right around and say something like "Wow this game is just too easy now! Where are all the good survivors at!?! I'm bored, I think I'll just quit playing DbD for good this time!"
In certain situations, bnps are even better than before.
DH was still too strong after 6.1
Almost all the healthy gen regression perks got nuked in 6.1
Survivors got hud, bt basekit, anti face camp.
So what are you getting at?
-
@Lobos said:
No thanks.. Killers already have enough BHVR hand holding.

A whole build on a killer with low chase potential to score maybe 1 or 2 head pops.
Kinda sounds like Tombstone Myers. Except far less effective.
Sadako's with her iri tape is probably worse as well.
That's what I'm on about.
It's a gimmick and there are way better and more efficient alternatives.

@WilliamSN said:

Kill rates are extremely misleading and require significant game knowledge to interpret correctly.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/4IB5YC49EYJR/medium-d8bcb81e4c78270e9605363bb0f38274.png
For example, last years killrates would lead anyone to believe nurse is the weakest killer in the game, yet anyone with basic game knowledge knows that nurse has a steep learning curve and as such the lower mmr players are tanking nurses real killrates.
A better metric would be the number of gens done.
While a 4k at 5 gens and a 4k a 0 gens *look the same* they are fundamentally different matches.
The ideal balance state would be an average of 4 gens popped per trial, a good match for both sides that came down to the wire, with everyone coming out with 15k+ bp.
From what time is this graphic?
Oh... Sorry..... Me dumb....

I don’t remember the last time they showed us right now. I need to check it up. Could you help me search for it? I remember that the last time I checked, the kill rates were above 55% and survivor rates were lower than 50%
The last time I remember getting kill rates from BHVR is after 6.1 which was over a year ago.
Could be wrong though.

But you physically have to be there to interrupt them meaning you can't possibly do something else. Full scream build passively does that for you, giving you plenty of time to do other things
Full scream build....
You mean ultimate weapon and face the darkness right?
That's two perks. If not more.
You wanna know why pig is considered weak?
Her chase. If the killer player invests that much into a gimmick, they are not investing in other (more important) parts of her basekit.
Also. Interrupting them yourself is always the best option. They can't immediately do it again. That's how I get my headpops. I find out the rng, predict survivor pathing and interrupt the survivor with the most searches (that being 4). Two interrupts and a bit of chasing away is more than enough to get them to time out.
Of course you have to chase them in a direction, where they already searched boxes. The time to get up / unhooked and healed (if downed), run back to the box and search it is too much wasted time. Big maps make this even worse.
Interrupting them yourself is way better.
Pig is all about time investment. One headpop is more than enough to turn a match around.
How do you win against her?
Abuse her weaknesses. Play against her like oni. Don't give her first hits and pre drop pallets. Her first down has to be delayed a lot.
Again: I created way more evil builds than screaming xD

What does any of this have to do with the problem of screaming resetting box progress? You hovering someone to prevent them from doing boxes isn't problematic. It's when you don't have to actually interact with them at all with scream boxes to farm headpops is the issue.
You don't need to make survivors scream.
You can interrupt them yourself.
-

Not bait, if you use the scream build, you're cringe. Like the vast majority of pig players are, which is why bhvr has had to nerf pig so many times to kill off the abusive strats that pig players would use.
XD ok. That's bait and I'll bite.
My build is Stbfl, surge/jolt, BBQ and lethal pursuer. Addons are medical file and combat straps.
I get a head pop almost every thirty game. Fourth at most.
Why?
Because I have 2k hours on her and know her rng.
Players don't need screaming. I never use these perks. I dont need them.
If I want to be extra nasty, I use further slowdown and no info at all.
I created builds way more nasty then those people complain about in my time playing her. And they have nothing to do with screaming.
So am I cringe now because I know how to play her?
-
@Steakdabait said:
No, remove this cringe garbage please. Yet another nerf that will happen due to pig players refusing to stop playing her in the most cringe way possible
Bait??? As a Pig main, I'm tempted.
