I can explain Ace in the cage. So the box that must be solved in order to bring the Cenobites to our world is a huge pocket dimension (Hell) anyone who completed the puzzle would be dragged to hell and trapped inside the box for all eternity.
Ace in a cage is just a little nod being trapped in hell
Maybe it could have an alternative motive but that sounds logical to me

But, I saw a comment made by Ocafghanistan, they were talking some of their favorite chapter concepts that would be fun to be added into Dead By Daylight and I saw a game that was listed, a game I have not heard of in a very long time.
We talked for a little bit about the game and while we were talking, I just kept thinking about the game and the people I watch whom played this video game as well, it was nice. It's sad to think about now... but, I won't say why.
But, I do wanna say this.
Being accepting of all communities is important, I think a good portion of us wouldn't be here if it wasn't for our favorite characters being added. I joined because I am a horror nut and I enjoyed Freddy and Saw quite a lot, so it was rather cathartic to play as/against them. It's one of the reasons why I stuck around for so long.
DBD made me a fan of a few horror series as well thanks to their partnership, Leatherface and Ghostface are my favorites right now, but my true favorites aren't here and that's fine.
But, the bickering back and forth, the denial, the association, the everything.
I'm not a fan of Fnaf, for personal reasons, I think they COULD be an interesting concept, just like any chapter and I think that's what the fnaf random is trying to say. Which is fine. But, everyday we see quite a significant amount of posts talking about the fandom. Now, I'm not just saying it's them. We all do it. We all talk about something we enjoy, Hellraiser is making a rise now as well, but to be fair... I feel like that's earned, since they're the ones being picked.
But, the forum spamming gets a little tiring, I'm extremely happy you all have something to talk about, but the constant forum post spam is a little... frustrating. So, I was wondering, what if we talked about what you all like in the comments of this post?
Think about, there are a lot of fanbases here that enjoy each other's ideas, so instead of making several topics of the same thing, why not just chat with each other here, brain storm your ideas with each other and make a fun chapter concept in the submit creation section of the website.
Or just to talk with other people about fandom.
I'm not trying to shut up anyone or target anyone, I just figured I'd suggest this so you have a nice conversation with someone who shares your interest without someone trying to shut people up.
Here, I'll start. I watched Candyman and it became my favorite horror slasher character, they have a great backstory and the new movie makes me so excited. But, I'd drop Candyman for a chance for a creature from Amnesia go be a killer. Specially the grunt or brute, I'm hoping it's a grunt since they're monstrous and they give me so many good memories, they're a bit sad to remember now for... reasons, but I still love the game.
I love that horror game with a passion and I think they'd make for an interesting chapter concept.

My 2 most favorite series was the silent hill and nemmisis. And only had a small aneurism on ph release.
Personally I'm excited for gell raiser but I have more experience with fnaf so I would love both.

The images I sent where photos of what comes up when you search posts from the past month, not all time. I was trying to demonstrate that while the posts about Lady Dimitrescu went away (mostly), the FNaF ones have persisted. You might not have had the same filters applied and that's why you're getting 1000.

The difference is though that the threads about Lady Dimitrescu are nowhere near as persistent as the FNaF ones. They started around the time of the Resident Evil chapter and ended pretty quickly. If you search all posts within one month of today's date, you'll see that the influx of threads about FNaF is massive in comparison (about 15x as much!). This was the result when I pulled up the search for FNaF:

Saying the negative reaction to threads like these is because "they don't like fnaf" is untrue and you know it. Stop preseting your questionable opinions as facts. The only place where fnaf pisses dbd community off are these forums, with it's limited and close-minded demographics. Anywhere else you will massive support for FNaF chapter being added into the game, confirmed by polls and general attitude. FNaF chapter will only piss off a handful of people like yourself or those easily influenced by local aggressive approach. A lot of people will be ecstatic, most will just treat it as they were treating previous chapters.
Also, they didn't tease hellraiser. We don't even have second R to complete HELLRAISE_ after last teaser. The "flower" doesn't look like the one from the movie, not even one bit. Everything else points towards FNaF, but let's just assume those clues are adamant proof and pretend to get triggered if they end up being red herrings despite them acting exactly like ones.

Kids play the game, Adults enjoy the game. Kids think of the game just as a spooky game that they can watch YouTubers play and get scared by. That's what it was to me when I was younger, but now I genuinely enjoy the franchise for its lore, characters, gameplay, and much more.
Also, let me just say, a game involving murder, child murder, someone's innards being ripped out and replaced by a robot, a walking Corpse, a walking Corpse inside of a robotic suit, childrens souls being trapped in a purgatory where they are stuck inside robots, and and a man being haunted by the souls of his dead victims doesn't sound like a kids game to me. The game is messed up, and horrific. There are plenty of videos that display what fnaf truly can be, just look up "Fnaf Vhs tapes" on YouTube.
Also, lets hypothetically say fnaf is a kids game, so kids come to DbD. Well guess what, that means faster queue times. And if you want to say that kids won't play good, plenty of adults play this game worse than a 1 year old could.
I hate it when people use this argument, because it doesn't hold up and is the equivalent of saying "Deadpool is a kids movie because kids like Deadpool."
I do not think it is a valid argument and do not expect me to reply to you if you use this argument.
The Scott Situation: Okay, first of all #IStandByScott, second of all, good point.
The situation with Scott is messy, and I see why people wouldn't want Fnaf in DbD for that reason. I really don't want to talk about the situation tho, this is a conversation about killing people virtually, not politics. However knowing money is going to someone I dislike is a bad feeling. I think its fine to dislike Scott, and I'm sure BHVR may just not want to dip their toes in that water.
So this really isn't an argument pro-fnaf but I just wanted to state it.
The Money: Fnaf could be an absolute money machine for DbD. There are alot of characters that could be skins (because let's face it, Springtrap is the most hyped choice for killer) for Springtrap. Personally Ennard would be an amazing legendary skin, or maybe the original 4 animatronics. Any way you slice it, it would make a ton of money. Not even to mention the fact that you would have to buy the dlc. It's probably the most hyped chapter in DbD, so a TON of people would buy it.
Springtrap: Springtrap feels like a perfect fit for the killer roster. Like, cmon, which fits more? A group of teens that got peer pressured into killing someone vs a serial killer that was trapped in a suit by the souls of his victims that then proceeded to gut him like a fish, but not kill him, and now is out for revenge. Like seriously, fnaf haters say Springtrap doesn't belong when his lore is 10x better than most of the killers. Not to mention his design. A small touch up to make him darker and fit in with the DbD environment would make him perfect tbh. Again, compared to Legion, which is just a teen with a mask (I am allowed to slander Legion I main him).
We Could Get A Good New Map: RPD suuucks so hard, and it really makes me want to see BHVR make a good map. Personally I think BHVR makes good maps from other franchises (I like Midwich don't @ me) and RPD was just a slip up. But the Fnaf 1 or 3 location could really work out in a great map, or hell, Security Breach is on its way, getting a map from that could be amazing.
So that was my argument. Please tell me why Springtrap does or doesn't belong, however if you say it's because fnaf is for kids I may block you, just kidding but not really.

They're allowed to reveal whatever they want as long as the other party gives the okay. If they both agree to reveal "I'm still here," that's fair game.
Going back to this whole thing, they have not revealed "I'm still here." If the intent was for the message to say "I'm still here," they'd just reveal more letters to make that happen. The fact that they haven't means that that isn't the message they are trying to convey.

Has anyone else tried going on Bilibili, finding the video, and checking what the file is downloaded as? I have only ever seen the same picture myself, and I tried searching for the video, but could never find it. The sole reason I do not believe the Bilibili leak is because someone can easily doctor the photo for quick and easy clout.

They did not show a springlock. So it indicates absolutely nothing about FNAF.
Also, leaks from an official source are very hard to deny.
Spring locks hold mechanical parts in place such as pins and bolts useing a spring to balance it for movement with steadiness
And yes it's hard to debunk from an official source. But like you said I'd the devs are trolling then it's not legit.
But the odds of that are low so I'm counting it

I honestly hope it's FNaF solely out of spite. I genuinely get ticked off seeing you on this forum telling others are wrong, and Hellraiser (which I do think WILL be the Chapter we get) is ImMuTaBlE fAcT. They have NEVER stated it is Hellraiser, not officially at least. The whole chinese Hellraiser_Teaser leak has only been from one person, people just reposted the same image. Sure, the letters spell out 'Hell' and 'Raise', but those CAN tie into FNaF. As someone said earlier in this thread, the flower in the TV, while very similar to the one in the 1987 film, isn't exact. The TV is, sure, but the flower isn't. 1987 also ties into FNaF and Hellraiser.
You can say that you think it's Hellraiser, but unless you work at BHVR and know with the utmost certainty, stop trying to talk down others and say "You're wrong, it's fAcT that it's Hellraiser".

Letters - Until the quote is fully finished, this is not a point to FNAF. "I a sill here" isn't coherent whereas "Raise Hell" is fully coherent. To be fair, if the quote does become fully formed, this basically becomes 100% FNAF, but until then, this points 100% to Hellraiser and not FNAF.
Springlock - This means nothing unless the devs teased a springlock. Not a point to FNAF. I shouldn't have to explain why this is a point to Hellraiser.

Scott Cawthon didn't invent the audio spectrograph, nor was he the first person to hide clues like that. Look up "Trials Evolution riddle" - and that's just the most famous example, which came out two years before FNAF 1.
The devs didn't give a single thought to any franchise except Hellraiser, because that's what the next chapter is.

Which likely wouldnt be so bad if the community didnt ######### on someone every time they mentioned wanting a FNAF chapter. They feel like they have to go out of their way to prove their logic to show how it could be, since the majority of the community still hates on FNAF but accepts stranger things as legit horror.
